GRS News Genesis Rehab Services Produces Fall Prevention Video (June 2008) Genesis Rehab Services partnered with ScienCentral to develop and produce a patient education video on fall prevention. Click here to view it. Formation Capital and JER Partners privatized Genesis HealthCare over the summer. As a result of this transaction, Formation Capital brought a sister company, In-House Rehab, to us through common ownership. Effective January 1, 2008, Formation will combine In-House Rehab with Genesis Rehab Services, creating one company under the Genesis Rehab name. Genesis will grow dramatically; we will welcome as many as 600 clinicians and approximately 100 centers to our team as a result of this partnership. We are working hard to ensure that this transition is seamless for our newest employees and business partners who will enjoy everything that we at GRS may take for granted, including advanced technological resources, superior clinical support, cutting-edge recruiting initiatives and enhanced benefit programs. With the addition of In-House we will add three new states to our service area, including Michigan, Indiana and Kansas. The growth of GRS will enable us to make a positive difference in the lives of more patients. Please look for more information about our plans to welcome In-House to the Genesis Rehab Services team. Want to learn more about GRS? New employees can visit our Career Center to find out more about our career paths and benefits packages, and our Education Center to see how GRS promotes professional development for our staff. Genesis Rehab Services Announces National Partnership with AOTA September 4, 2007 -- Genesis Rehab Services has entered into our first-ever National Partnership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). This partnership will enable both organizations to leverage resources to promote the development of OT practice, and will support the development of tools and resources for occupational therapists practicing in the post-acute setting. It will also provide AOTA with better representation of the interests of post-acute therapists in order to influence legislation, reimbursement policy, and regulation. GRS occupational therapists and assistants will enjoy many direct benefits from this partnership, including preferred pricing on AOTA membership, publications, resources and continuing education.
