This discipline-specific mentoring program, including our CFY supervision program, enables GRS to clinically orient the new employee to the long-term care environment, and to provide seasoned therapists with clinical and professional opportunities for growth, both as a therapist and as an interdisciplinary team member.

At Genesis Rehabilitation Services, Mentors help their Mentees acclimate to the long-term care environment by providing information and instruction, as well as encouragement, training and general support for the transition to this professional setting. Regular meetings and ongoing communication enable the Mentor to assess the Mentee's clinical knowledge, and to provide feedback and evaluation on clinical performance.
