About the Facility
Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Create is an alcohol and drug rehab center that provides dual-diagnosis intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and general outpatient care for adults. They also offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
MAT provides FDA-approved medications in combination with mental health counseling to address the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of addiction. The medications help clients minimize withdrawal symptoms and manage cravings while they attend evidence-based treatment and lay the foundation for long-term recovery.
The IOP meets four days a week for three hours per session. Services include individual and group counseling, medication management, addiction education and life-skills training, and relapse prevention. The general outpatient program offers similar services but is available via telehealth for six sessions that are 60-90 minutes each.
Create may accept a wide range of insurance plans, such as Humana, Ambetter, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, and more. Because insurance plans vary, be sure to verify coverage information and out of network details with the insurer.
Levels of Care
Outpatient
Outpatient rehabs typically provide a full continuum of care both for clients in early recovery and for those who are well advanced in their recovery journey. Their levels of care typically include partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living/halfway housing, and standard outpatient programming. Many outpatient facilities offer evening, night, and weekend services, including addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training, to accommodate clients’ work and family schedules.
Telehealth
Telehealth refers to services that are delivered virtually -- for example, through a live one-on-one video conference with a counselor -- instead of in person. Telemedicine rehab is ideal for people who want to stay in touch with their mental health provider but have difficulty getting to appointments.
Medically Assisted Detox
Withdrawal from alcohol and drugs can be uncomfortable - even dangerous - without the proper medical supervision. The safest way to remove addictive substances from your body is with a medically supervised detox where a team of on-site medical professionals can monitor your health and progress 24/7, then administer medications (like Suboxone or Vivitrol) if necessary to mitigate symptoms of withdrawal.
