⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pride Institute has literally saved my life — more than once. I’ve been through Pride multiple times, and every time I walk back through those doors, I’m reminded that recovery isn’t linear — but community makes it possible. Pride isn’t perfect. It’s a little messy and sometimes chaotic. It’s also one of the only places I’ve ever felt truly seen as a queer, trans person in recovery. The staff here care, even when we don’t make it easy. Great counselors as well as a lot of variety for daily groups. I’ve learned how to tell the truth about my story, connect with people who get it, and start rebuilding a life that actually feels like mine. I’ve laughed harder here than almost anywhere else, cried in rooms full of people who understood, and found hope when I didn’t think I would again. If you’re looking for a luxury rehab, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a place full of flawed, brilliant, queer people trying to heal together—Pride is definitely the place to go.

Pride was such a wonderful treatment center to get my head together. Getting sober is tough but the people that work there are wonderful and understand and do all they can do to help each client. The clients themselves are always welcoming to everyone and always there to help each other. I couldn't have done it by myself. I love the community that has excepted me. And I am proud to say that Pride will forever be a part of me, my life and my recovery.

(Burner account for anonymity) This place is great. I was very scared to attend but after a week or so, felt at home. The staff is amazing. I just wish we had more time with staff. There is a good amount of peer-led activity and that can be hit or miss. But the sessions with staff were always great. Food is above average for a place like this and the medical staff is top notch. I would recommend anybody needing treatment to go to Center City. For those crying and saying there was no change in their loved-ones... those folks must have not been attending sessions or doing the work provided. I watched grown adults walk in as big zombie children and leave as men - ready to go to the next phase. After your stay, YOU STILL HAVE WORK TO DO. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?

I walked these halls 10 years ago. Tim Helmek (I forgot if that’s correct spelling) saved my life with what he taught me. I didn’t stay sober that then but when the time came I knew what to do to stay sober because of him. Just celebrated 7.5 years. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

My last stay at Hazelden Plymouth was about 2.5 years ago, when I was 17. At first, I was nervous and resentful of my parents for sending me there but I’m glad they did. The facility was amazing (and the food was great too). My psychologist, David Wells, was very educated and helped me make real progress. My counselors, Joanne and Denise, were exactly what I needed. I overdosed on fentanyl three times before coming here, and without Hazelden I truly don’t think I’d be alive today. I’m now 2.5 years sober, and the education and support I received at Hazelden continues to help me in other parts of my life. I’m very grateful for my time here and highly recommend Hazelden to anyone who needs help.

My daughter recently attended this rehab facility where she stayed for approximately 45 days. This is her 1st time @ Truly wanting & getting sober 💯%. She tells every1 great things about the people there @ meadow Creek who's lives & testimonials were so Very helpful. Major Thanks 2 the people that Truly Care 4 her & helped with teaching her the tools 2 maintain sobriety. Apparently they also serve Really Good food which is Definitely Awe-sum. Wow! What a journey. Please take this seriously for those in addition or wanting to recover! I went here during covid season 2020 when I got my DUI. I was regretting it, didn't take it seriously, etc. I did my month time stay there. Went home continued with addiction cause I still didn't care. After mother's day weekend on 05.09.22 was my first day of sobriety. I'm still sober to this day. Let me tell you what, I've had the most fantastic experiences and time of my life sober! Looking back, wish I'd took things seriously. I even got off probation this year in June. I wasn't supposed to get off until November next year 2024. I mean God's work is honestly a blessing and you definitely feel him working thru you. I remember starting out here at this place, they said "higher power" and I'm like naw, I don't got that. Not even my kids. Oh yeah, God is my highest power! This place is amazing! Trust me! Great staff, food, location, etc! Just please get help! It's not worth your life ending on bad terms! I will never go back to that life style. Sobriety is just the coolest 😎 Lord the energy you have, stability, motivation, passion to keep striving and going in life! Yes!! No more laziness! Couldn't have chose a better place to go for help with my substance abuse disorder, not only that but I got to learn a lot about my culture. Going through sweat for the first time and the ceremonies were very healing for me. The staff is GREAT. 10/10 would recommend this treatment facility to anyone that wants help with their addiction.

Very good leadership. Rena is a competent and organized counselor. I've only had two group meetings and one counseling session and I already am applying what I learned.

They work with you no matter what. I love them. My therapist is really good. Her name is Catheryn.

The Retreat saved my life. I relapsed after 6 years sober and found returning to the program extremely difficult. The way they helped me immerse myself back into the steps was exactly what I needed. Now I’m in fire for AA and I am so grateful that this place exists for real alcoholics and addicts like me to recover.

Today I celebrate 4 months of sobriety! I couldn’t have done it without the 30 days I spent at the retreat. What an incredible experience I had. Everything from morning meditation each day to the end of the day step 10 inventory. Incredible and supportive staff, guest speakers, daily AA meetings and lots of love. I have implemented so much of what I learned from the Retreat into my daily life and it’s made a huge impact.i can’t say enough great things about The Retreat! I am so very grateful to everyone there.

Had a very eye opening experience here. Staff were phenomenal and supportive. Along with developing a base for sober life skills and relationship with my higher power also had a lot of fun!

my life changed after i took a test here, things got weird at the hospital, then i went home and it got super duper weird bad, they drove me insane with what people where doing around, then they denied everything and said i was hallucinating here is a quote from god "you can NOT understand how angry i am" 4801 veterans drive 48-0-1 people know that what im told in dreams is correct, but like the 0(zero) dream, they dont think its god they want it to be satan or something, just because they dont like what god has to say maybe..... if they didnt tap my phony without a warrant and do all kinds of weird stuff driving me insane, maybe god wouldn't be saying the bad stuff god is... just a thought (OMG you have no idea the hate i have dealt with over this, keep in mind they where mean to me before god showed up, god showed up to defend me, im david you might not want to be my enemy or help them) they will just deny everything

Great staff, great program, saved my life

I really enjoyed my sobriety while I was there. The groups were awesome the counselors were well trained. And now I think I need to go back there but I know I will be welcome

Recovery happens when the client wants it badly enough. I found the counselors, facilitators and therapists had genuine concern for my well being. I still attend therapy here.

I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava. Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! And I came away with a great support system and the tools to be successful and healthy. If you are looking for a good and loving recovery program, you will find it in Park Ave!!! Recommend 20 out of 10!!!!!

I went here on June 2nd 2023 I've been sober ever since! I still go here for therapy I absolutely love this place! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the staff they genuinely care about each and every client and it shows tremendously! Park Ave saved my life and my family! They didn't just help me get sober they helped me recover and gave me the best tools to maintain my recovery! I do and will continue to recommend Park Ave to anyone who struggles with addiction! Exceptional service from the moment you walk in. The Receptionist is very professional and friendly. Dr. Thelma Brown Kane is very caring and professional as well. She listens, and is very attentive to your needs.

Alissa Christianson is the best psychologist around! Super sweet, intelligent and caring! Absolutely love her! I recommend Alissa to everyone. She's very helpful and listens to what you have to say without interupting you.

I have had my fair share of hospital visits and Mayo Clinic in Mankato has yet to let me down! My Primary Care Provider, Kalene Mach, is the most incredible doctor I have had to date. The nurses and safe are incredible. The place is always beautifully clean. The outdoor garden and food pantry fridge available are an amazing touch to add after some stressful visits! All around amazing work by my whole team and cannot recommend them more! ❤️❤️❤️

I finished up the year-long DBT class with Madi and Jess as the instructors, and this program really changed my life. I know it sounds corny, but when I came in I couldn't tell you the difference between anger and disgust, but now I can clearly describe my emotions and communicate effectively with people without shutting down or shutting off. The skills I learned has helped me in my marriage, my job, and improved my relationships with others. This hidden gem of a class needs a bigger wait list, it's that good. I would encourage anyone who is struggling, with whatever it may be, to reach out to this place and get engaged in your mental health. You'll thank yourself later.

I can’t say enough good things about Nystrom & Associates and their DBT program. When I started, I was struggling with emotional regulation, relationships, and feeling overwhelmed by daily life. The structure of the DBT program, along with the support from the compassionate and knowledgeable therapists, truly changed my life. The combination of individual therapy with Madi and skills group with Madi and Jess gave me the tools I needed to navigate stress, set healthy boundaries, and manage my emotions in a more balanced way. I finally feel like I have a roadmap for how to cope in a healthier, more effective way and that’s something I hadn’t found in other therapy settings. The environment at Nystrom is welcoming and nonjudgmental. I always felt safe to be honest and to grow. If you're on the fence about starting DBT, I highly recommend it here. It's hard work, but it works and I’m so grateful I took that first step.

This place helped me save my life. The education on recovery at Pride is top-notch, the staff is informed and open, the facility is nice enough and they allow vaping now! All that aside the love and inclusiveness I felt there did more for me than anything. For the first time I didn't feel like I had to play a part to be somewhere. That feeling, that sort of love, stays with a person. After you've been accepted for who you are by others it's easier to accept it about yourself. Pride gave me the keys to unlock me.
