Deciding to go and stay at DFC was the best thing that happened too me. The staff and counselors are world class. The education and treatment I received changed my life. Care, compassion, & understanding of my disease from the staff kept me focused on my recovery. I owe my future to this program - and it is looking bright!

Great staff and food

I was a client here between February and March of 2025 for the 30 day program. Far exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed it so much and the staff that I decided to do the 3 month trainee program where I m starting my career in recovery. I m very excited to join the team and have a better future for others and myself.

The elevate program was very profound for me as it got to the deep root of my addiction and way I've relapse, I'm grateful to be able to live my life with responsibility and peace thanks to elevate.

This place changed and saved my life. I owe the staff and owners everything. They took a dead man walking and gave me hope through God and the 12 steps of Narcotics Anonymous. If you need a way out I recommend you give this program a chance. It is above and beyond a different take on rehabilitation. I completed my treatment at Enlight Treatment Center a year ago, and it was a truly transformative experience. When I first arrived, I was dealing with the aftermath of a broken jaw and the emotional scars from being tortured at a fake detox center, which left me terrified to trust anyone. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for. Having a private room was a huge plus it gave me the personal space I needed to focus on my recovery while still managing my work and school. The fact that I could use my phone and laptop was incredibly helpful, allowing me to stay connected and on top of everything while receiving the care I needed.The staff were incredible not only professional but genuinely caring. They treated me like a friend, making the whole experience feel much more comfortable. The facility itself is very comfy. Plus, there were plenty of fun outings that kept me active and distracted in the best way possible.If you're looking for a place where you can focus on recovery while still maintaining your responsibilities, I can t recommend this place enough!

I had the privilege of going through detox at this facility. To say this place is awesome is an understatement. They sincerely care about your well being and health. It's a small facility so they can spend more individual time with the residents. They cater three amazing meals a day along with snacks 24/7. Great program! Awesome staff, I would recommend Elevate to anyone looking for an alternative to the 12 step approach to recovery.

Where do I begin Before I came to Elevate I thought I had reached rock bottom in life but shortly after coming here I realized they saved me from ever getting there. I came for an alcohol addiction which became a secondary objective to my stay. I learned to love myself and gained confidence in being me. I found a way to finally be happy in life, in the current moment without contingencies. To know I was never broken and that I have more control over my perspective than I ever thought was possible. My sobriety came as a byproduct of discovering my own self worth and I often lay awake at night filled with gratitude for having the opportunity to go through this program. The amount of understanding and support offered to me was outstanding and I felt as if I was amongst family. The care and love from the staff inspires the clients to care for each other in the same fashion. If at any point you need a shoulder to lean on or just someone to listen, every face you see is there for you. I can t find the words to formulate a sentence that will truly express my thanks and love for Elevate. All I can do is let others know if your suffering and need the help, this is where you will find it.

I am so grateful for the founders and all the staff at Elevate. From the very first introduction to the incredible program they have to offer throughout the entire time my loved one spent there, we were kept informed and encouraged. Sober life is the absolute BEST place to be if you are struggling. I went in 2020 and didn t complete, and they welcomed me back with open arms march of this year and I went through completion. I have had the opportunity to stay in their network by getting care at SD wellness for psychiatry. Over this holiday week I had forgotten about my refill of a medication I need, I got in contact with Dan from alumni since I forgot what their hours were for thanksgiving and Black Friday, and by today (saturday) I have my refill! I got a personal call from Dr Amaro and got squared away. I ve never found a medical group that listens, cares, and has better communication than here. I am so happy with this process and will always come back if I need it! Highly recommend!

I went there in November of 2024 because I was desperate to get help. They were very helpful with getting me there, checking with me before I got there, and making sure I didn't change my mind about going (as most of us do when It comes to getting sober). I had an awesome time there, the staff was great (they had their off days, as us alcoholics/addicts do). We were busy most all day every day. They take you to the gym 3x a week, they do panels, and outside meetings as well. The facility itself is clean, there's laundry machines, snacks & coffee on deck 24/7, they take you to the vape shop and wal mart once a week, and they are working on more outside activities. There were tvs and DVD players in every unit with a TON of dvds. No bed time so you are free to roam around the facility or chill and watch TV. The groups got a little boring (but if you are with a good group of guys they are a lot of fun and informative). The way insurance and every thing works was a little frustrating because it's on a weekly basis if you stay on the treatment side or go to phase 2. You are allowed your phone 3x a day for a hour each time. The units are awesome, it is an apartment (if you go try to get into the one above the kitchen on the left haha). Mike who is one of the main dudes is an awesome person! I am currently on day 63 and if it weren't for the lighthouse I would most likely be either dead or in the process of drinking myself to death. If you are in need of help, do the hard thing and ask for it. The money, job, or whatever it is that is keeping you from going won't be there much longer if you continue to do what you're doing. I love you all and hope this helps!

I would like to express my gratitude to the Lighthouse and all the staff who had helped me and guided me. I stayed at the Lighthouse for about 90 days and in that timeframe I was able to receive one on one Care meet with a therapist. All my needs were met. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. Hands down the best decision I made for myself to save my life. I had no idea what to do with my life as I was spiraling into a seemingly inescapable abyss until I reached out to Treehouse. I had my reservations about going to a place like Treehouse as a member of the LGBTQ+ community but the amount of support and acceptance I received even before I committed to going was incredible. I gained the knowledge and tools that I use on a daily basis that help me live life to the fullest potential. I discovered new things about myself while going through the program by living outside of my comfort zone and allowing myself to try things I never thought I would be interested in. Treehouse was able to create a space where I could explore these new things and create strong bonds with guys that impacted my recovery in the best way possible and gave me a stronger foundation to move forward with my life. The therapy was life changing, shoutout to Chuck and Ryan, they saw something in me that I could not see for myself and helped me bring that out. The coaches were incredible as well, shoutout to Dylan, he taught me so much that went above and beyond physical fitness and weight training. Vechi and Brandon were instrumental in working with me to get me the help that I needed and incredible human beings. Words cannot express how grateful and honored I feel to have gone through and graduated from this program. If you're looking for a place that'll give you the best chance at success in recovery, this is it. You are worth it.

California recovery center literally saved my life. There are very few times In your life when you can say this with absolute conviction, and this is one of them. The Intake process was handled with absolute care and concern for my circumstance. The staff took care of my insurance and was able to get in the day after I made contact. I called other facilities and the first thing that they wanted to talk about was money, which was a huge turn off. CRC Isn t a giant facility with tons of people where you can get lost in the shuffle and that was exactly what I was looking for. All of the counselors at CRC Know what it s like to go through addiction and as a person trying to recover that made all the difference. It wasn t theory to them. Meals were prepared by an on-site chef who actually got me to eat my veggies Which is a miracle in itself. The senior staff were also wonderful In making sure everything ran smoothly. The facilities are comfortable, clean, and maintained Daily. The med staff are all Rockstars!! I could go on and on About what Crc did for me, but it wouldn t do them enough justice. If you need help, and ready to do the work, This is the place for you

After looking into 6-7 different places to take my mother I was getting frustrated. When I contacted California Recovery Center what first caught my attention was how understanding and helpful Rachel was. She was the woman that assisted me with finding help for my mom. It s never easy being In the situation of getting help for yourself or others, so when it feels like a person wholeheartedly wants to help yourself and your family it makes all the difference. That s my experience with CRC. I felt like from the start they wanted to help and my mom felt the same way after talking to them. I highly recommend you give them the chance to help you as well

I feel very privileged to be able to spend 30 days at maple moon. I can t say enough on how the entire staff made me feel safe and comfortable and supported. The detox was as easy as can be and and I was given the tools and confidence to continue my journey after.

I cannot give enough praise to Rise in Malibu. My son was recently admitted for the 30 day alcoholism program. With great fear and hesitation he was soon talking with Allison in admissions. Her unbelievable patience, knowledge, unmatched kindness, and long phone calls, gave him the reassurance he needed to get on the plane.Upon arrival to LAX there was another team member waiting for him at the baggage carousel. He was a recovered alcoholic and really understood the hesitation being experienced by my son. How wonderful to have that real life encouragement, even before walking in the front door.Upon arrival he met all the wonderful staff that he appreciated were non judgmental, which was very important to him. Each staff member took time to really get to know him, so they could develop a personal treatment plan to meet his specific needs. He participated in group, individual and spiritual counseling. The painting activity uncovered a talent that he did not know he had. The group meals, activities, gym time and outings allowed positive and supportive friendships to develop.I visited about two weeks in and met most of the staff. Every person was as wonderful as he had said they were. It was then I learned that all the staff members have recovered from their own addiction. That explains their kind, understanding and unrelenting devotion to helping others.During my visit he showed me around and introduced me to the staff like they were all his family. He was proud of his progress and finally believing in recovery. I saw happiness in him for the first time in many years.He continues to reach out to team members when there is a bump in the road. Having that ability has truly kept him on the right path. He is now in sober living with sobriety a realistic outcome, for the first time in 20 years. I am forever grateful to Rise in Malibu!

An absolute gem!!The home is stunning with individual spacious rooms, infinity pool, and view of the ocean for starters. My experience with the admissions team of Lori and Berkeley was a great start as I did not, for one minute, feel pressured. The staff, comprised of Masters level and Doctorate clinicians provide the most comprehensive treatment this industry has to offer. The one on one attention you receive here is unbelievable. I had 90+ sessions in a 30 day stay. My Primary Therapist Dr Nisha, my case manager Ellie, Trauma Therapist Michael, IFS and Neurobiology with Dr Mark, Massage and relaxation with Sam, LMFT Gina and Heather, Breathwork/Reiki/Yoga with Cat, Personal Trainer Luke, Nursing with Shari and Paige, Spiritual Counseling with Gina and Beth, 5 star Chefs Jake, Cameron, Bryce and Amanda, Support staff Nam, Art with Noku, all provided the care I desperately needed at this most vulnerable moment in my life. And I need to mention that the CEO Patrick is amazing and he meets every client with a smile and some hope.If you are needing help, look no further and come to Rise in Malibu. You will be overjoyed you did!!

Golden Road Recovery is the place to go to, to start your new journey of recovery! It is by far one of the best places to go. This place along with the staff Really Care about your Recovery! It is special because your not just a number or a pay check. They really care about you and understand because most of them have been through their journey of recovery.They only take in a small amount of patients so you get the opportunities to speak one on one with counselors, therapists, instructors, the doctor and even a nutritionist. This Rehab facility was absolutely life-changing for me. There are so many great things I could list about this place. The staff were knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly and MOST of all: EXTREMELY accommodating and understanding with requests. The house was located in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood with absolute stunning views overlooking the ocean. The fun activities and experiences/outings were extremely helpful coping skills for my mental health and cravings.At Laguna View Detox it is evident that the staff care about you from the time you walk in the front door.I would like to point out that while this experience was amazing, there are a couple of things I would like to point out as areas for growth and improvement.1. Food - the food was sub-par in my humble opinion. While they do cater to dietary restrictions and allergies, there were many occasions that felt like the same food was repetitive, less-healthy, and lacked the right amount to serve everyone to their satisfaction.It would have been nice to maybe have the option for meal prep or an activity cooking course to teach people the skill and value in cooking together as well as considering a part-time chef position to develop those skills in staff and clients alike.2. Staff/clients - While 90% of the staff/clients were absolutely amazing, there were a couple that maybe could ve brought more value to the table or fulfilled their duties so others wouldn t have to suffer the consequences. It s not fair nor realistic to expect perfection from everyone but it is possible to differentiate those that are there to just collect a paycheck or take advantage of the care the system provides.These problems will undoubtedly always arise in every work environment and company alike thus should be expected time to time. The higher management can hopefully take more proactive measures to prevent the house becoming a toxic environment as well as addressing the problems at the core of the individuals.Once again I would highly recommend this place to anyone seriously committed to attaining a peaceful and healthy life of sobriety. I am forever indebted and grateful to LVD for my experience. I am also proud of myself for making the best of this opportunity and utilizing all the tools, skills and knowledge taught from the wise and relatable staff.I have made life-long friends, relationships, coping skills and knowledge that I will carry throughput my lifetime toward sobriety. I would give 10 stars if I could. I called the number on their webpage in the early morning on a Sunday and their director of intake, T.J. answered . He listened to me try to explain the nightmare I m living in with my son and he made me feel so much more calm and I felt as if I was talking to a friend or family. It was amazing. He found my son a place in their facility right away and explained the process and what to expect, even sharing his own experiences. I have never dealt with this before so I had a lot of catching up to do and I was literally in the midst of a serious crisis with my son which is already enough. I don t think I could ve handled this situation without the patience and support everyone at Laguna Detox but especially T.J. offered me. Unfortunately our insurance declined us in the 11th hour which was petrifying, but TJ called me himself and gave me a handful of alternative places and helped me call them and check for availability. What a difference that made. TJ ended up finding the best alternative in our area and hours later I had my son in their care and he s getting the attention and care he deserves and I can finally take a deep sigh of relief. TJ reached out throughout the entire process giving us his support and care and even checked in a couple days into my sons treatment to see how we were doing. TJ is one of those humans you pray for when you or anyone you love is in a crisis. Just a gem! Thank you TJ and Laguna Detox, I appreciate you and would recommend you to anyone.

One of the best addiction treatment centers in Los Angeles without a doubt. They offer full-spectrum care from detox to aftercare. I appreciated the support and education to stay sober it really helped my aunt.

Just finished treatment at WVDT and in the beginning (as per usual whenever anyone is kicking anything hard) I was hostile, isolated and resistant to the treatment. I came in on NYE 24 from Miami, FL and by day 4 I needed to go to the hospital, they made the decision and when I was done I returned to finish my 28 days of treatment. I am very thankful for everything and everyone there, I have never been more clean in my life since I began using in 2020. One of the workers Mariah, shared her story with me in the beginning of my stay and one thing she said really resonated with me. "I just stayed, and I listened" and for my duration I just grasped onto that. I stayed, I listened, and I got my life back. They also assist you with post-treatment planning, whether that's PHP, Sober living, IOP, etc. They make sure you have all the tools you need so once you're discharged it'll be a smooth transition for you. Everyone there was knowledgeable and had some type of first hand experience in what you're actually going through. Some notable shoutouts include Austin, Mariah, Beau, Emmanuel, Malika and Jordan. The Private Chef there too is amazing. For going through what was the toughest time in my life, I will never forget my month there. Thanks Everyone!

Any good story should start so there I was. So there I was, I was a meth user for 30 plus years and an alcoholic. I don't know we're to begin on how much starbridge helped me.. my mental health was shot by body was shot and my pride was shot I had been to countles facilities and programs during my 30 years of use and soon as i left I knew I was getting high. Something clicked here at starbridge recovery for me yes I have a 1 year old and a partner at home that I was trying to get clean for but the staff and faculty had me realize that I need to do first and for most for me than my family will reap the benefits of the real Tyson. I can go on and on about the good food from the private chef the heated pool the nurse on duty the technician that run groups and the counselor/psychiatrist,and the other clients that were there at my stay... but what really got me was soon as walked in the door the energy that overcame my body and In my belief the other countless souls of the people who came and left before me left a part of themselves there. And I knew that I was safe from whatever my problems were that they were gonna be taken care of I want everyone too know that starbridge recovery has saved me and has shown my family a new man one that they deserved for 30 years ..... thank you for saving my life everyone at starbridge and beyond. This was the best recovery experience! This was not my first time in treatment and I thought that I knew what to expect. The groups were small and intimate. The staff and other clients were caring, empathetic, open minded and friendly. I was introduced to Smart Recovery which is a great alternative to 12 step programs. We attended 12 Step meetings as well. All the techs and counselors were committed to my success. My therapist Stephanie is a great listener! She heard my concerns and was able to present other perspectives that I hadn t thought of. The chef, Dean is a fabulous cook! Dustin, Evan, Leslie, Sam, Brittany, America were all essential in this process. They are all proof that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety but connection!

Five stars, MyTime Recovery got me back on track and I would highly recommend their residential treatment and PHP programs. They truly care about their clients and bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and knowledge to the process. Sylvia is the best!

I had the immense privilege of attending the Canyon twice. I completely turned my back on sobriety and found myself in a place of hopelessness and despair. The Executive Director Antonio refused to give up on me and moved heaven and earth to make sure I would get the help I needed. Since the day I met him he as been in my corner and I have watched as he has worked tirelessly every single day to ensure each and every one of his clients are taken care of. He is constantly reinventing the program making sure the best clinicians are on staff. Their level of knowledge and professionalism blended with kindness, patience, and unconditional love is special to be a witness to and a recipient of. They blend CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Eastern Philosophy, Scientific Study, SMART Recovery, Refuge/Dharma, AA and all other 12 Step recovery programs into an actionable toolkit that equips their clients to find a path that works for them and to completely rebuild themselves into a brand new life.I cannot express my gratitude enough to this program. It truly works if you're willing to try.

My experience at The Canyons was life changing. Antonio and his team of therapists, support groups and staff are all wonderful to work with and truly care about your recovery and well being. I have had other experiences in recovery and have never come out with a more solid foundation and hope for the future than I have since leaving the canyon. They have all the necessary resources and even offer post recovery Alumni services that I plan to unitize moving forward. If you have problems with addiction or questions about your sobriety and substance use, the Canyons is a place that I highly recommend for a better chance at a brighter future and one that doesn t depend upon substance abuse. Withdrawals suck, but Oceanfront provided me with the correct medications to help me feel as comfortable as possible while I ease in. Additionally their staff is all well trained and knowledgeable. I feel they saved my life. I was taken care of the moment I walked in. Very supportive staff. Knowledgeable and always accessible. I was to stay initially for 10 days but felt so in need stayed for a full 30. I feel stronger physically and mentally and ready to face life again which was impossible a month ago. Before putting myself into a 30-Day Intensive Inpatient Program at Bright Future Recovery (BFR), I was a lost, hopeless soul addicted to alcohol. After 32 years of heavy, heavy drinking, I had finally hit my rock bottom, and I felt that I was quickly on my way to drinking myself to death. Upon arriving at BFR, I was greeted with open, caring and loving arms, and my path towards recovery from alcohol addiction began. BFR Staff--Darlene, Amanda, Larissa, Danae, "Mama D," Grammy, Papa, Chef Carlo, Mariah, Rachel, and I am sure I am forgetting a few names at the moment--all of them treated me like Family, and I came to look at them as Family. Each and every staff member played a critical role in my recovery program--a 10-day detox followed by a 20-day residential stay.The treatment center at 1000 Fairview Road in Hollister, CA, is a beautiful ranch style home in the middle of beautiful, rural Hollister. With fresh, clean air, rolling hills, mountain views, your path to recovery begins in a beautiful house with large rooms, plenty of natural sunlight coming through windows galore. The bedrooms, and living spaces are very roomy and comfortable, filled with comfy beds and furniture.I cannot say enough positive things about my time at BFR. 53 days sober now, thanks solely to the tools and resources I learned about at BFR, and now an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, I was once so lost, living in the deepest throws of alcoholism, once not wanting to wake up anymore, BFR helped me find my way. Thanks to Bright Future Recovery, I was lost, but now I am found.

What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery:They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollmentPRIOR TO ARRIVAL:coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly).UPON ARRIVAL:You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed.ONCE SETTLED IN:There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed.DEPARTING:A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed.NOTES:Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover.There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN.Bass is the main property and where groups are held.Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible.Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub.DAILY ITENTERARY:This is where it gets a bit "grey space" ....There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality.PAPER PLAN*I could be slightly off, as no schedule was providedwake up 7am-7:30ambreakfast 8am-9am9am-12pm & 1pm-5pm grouplunch 12pm-1pm dailydinner 5pm-6pm dailyfree time 6pm-10pmTuesday = Sound Therapy (AMAZING)Wednesday = Yoga (BEGINNER)Thursday = Fitness Training (NOPE)Friday = Educational Rehabilitation Movie & Horse TherapySaturday = "outing activity" (NOPE)Sunday = Family visitation 12pm-4pm (last 2 weeks only)its helpful if youre looking to get clean. The property and people are nice overall.

This is, by far, the best recovery center that I have experienced and heard of. I have been sober since I left Ranch Creek 3 1/2 years ago. They saved my life physically, as I was about a month away from being put onto the liver transplant list, they saved my marriage and relationship with our four children, and they saved me emotionally, as Dr. Dena was able to get some of my issues to a conclusion without me using alcohol to numb the pain. I do the work every single day, but I wouldn't be here without Ranch Creek. They definitely do it right!

This place has saved my life. The counselors, the nurses, the teachings (tools), and the environment were amazing. They were very patient, caring, and understanding. I learned so much there and gained a whole new self identity. After inpatient, they offered me an outpatient program that you can partake either in-person or via Zoom. That is so necessary and beneficial as well. I would suggest that anyone who wants and needs to get their life back or reshape who they are for the better to give this place a try. I live life through new eyes and with a healthy mind. You won't be disappointed.
