They brought you to outside AA/NA/ CR meetings plus hosted them in house and the YMCA is across the street if you’re want exercise. The food was delicious (with real silverware) so watch your weight. The staff there are truly committed to the people they serve & unselfishly go out of their way to lift you up with the Word of God. I've been home for a little over a week now, my dad still hates me & I'm looking for somewhere to live with no clue how things will work out. The only other things I want to add are: 1. like most all treatment centers there are strict rules to abide by, go in with an open mind. These rules are for your good. 2. But I knew on the first day that he would be safe and valued, just based on how patient they were with him through the onboarding process. Throughout his time there, they saw his good through his pain and anger. They worked with him and me to teach us new ways. The place itself was beautiful and my son spent so much time in his happy place of nature. When things were very hard for him, they communicated with me and never gave up. The residential staff are God-sent people. I loved that turnover was so low, that I really knew all the staff by the end of the process. They were familiar and comforting during family visits. I looked forever to find a place that would take me and my husband. Let me just tell you that was difficult in itself, this place opened up its doors for us and came through in all aspects. We both got some good recovery and we both got some good experience here. The staff was extremely great and the facilities were top notch! I highly recommend them to anyone in search of treatment no matter the level of care! My therapist was awesome and she really helped me manage some of the things I struggled with. I had a wonderful experience here which may seem odd to say because of the type of place it is but I mean it. I was at the lowest point in my life and had to be transferred here from Holsten Valley ER (voluntarily) and was super scared to go but felt incredibly welcomed by patients and staff. The staff there will always talk to you and listen to what you have to say and even if you have to ramble they will listen. I had one night where I was absolutely having a miserable panic attack and they did everything they could to calm me down. The food was AMAZING for some reason and I cannot complement the chefs and Lasagna enough. They even went out of their way to find me stuff to eat because of a restricted diet due to my teeth. Sure it was just soups and uncrustables but they didn't have to do that. They even made a vegetarian meal for another patient there. The only "complaint' is that they wake you up to check your vitals but you don't have to leave your room at least in the middle of the night. You get used to it though. You have completely free control over what you do other than vital checks and a morning meeting around 9 that everyone must attend. My first exposure to the principles of recovery happened at Cumberland Heights in January of 2021 as a resident in the Young Men's Program. While I did not immediately pursue lasting recovery afterwards- I firmly believe the seeds of recovery were planted there. Cumberland Heights provided a safe space for my freshly 20-year old self to practice vulnerability. The friends I made there are still involved in my life today. Cumberland Heights is the first reference I make to individuals in the greater TN area when they ask about possible in patient treatment centers.

Cumberland Heights was the beginning of change in my life almost a year ago. Big John still checks on me! What a great place with great people! The Music Therapy sessions are top-notch with John McAndrew. The gates coming into the property say “LET GO LET GOD” and I FULLY understand the meaning of it now. Although Id love to say Ive remained sober since leaving CH…I cannot. However, I can say that CH gave me the tools and knowledge necessary to start my journey of recovery. I am almost at 3 months for the first time! I made 89 days and lost it to a simple misunderstanding. Having the right Sponsor is key to success! Much gratitude for everyone that made my experience at CH meaningful.

I was able to attend the white water rafting at Ocoee last month with Cumberland Heights alumni and family... I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for doing these events that bring clean fun into recovery! I had only ever done the rafting once before 9 years ago and I knew health-wise this would be my last chance to do it once more. I had so much fun, I felt comfortable letting go and relaxing in an awesome lodge with great food and even better people. I think I absolutely LOVED the campfire side meetings the most and getting to let things burn in the fire and then letting them "disappear" from me with the smoke... Thanks to everyone who was there and who helped make it my 1st but hopefully not my last amazing experience with them! There were I believe like 60 of us, from all different walks of life and all but 3 were "strangers" to me when I got there and family when I left...The employees are some of the most down to earth, hard working yet friendly and recovery driven people I've met in my 9 years since getting clean. That weekend I felt so welcome, included and just part of the family and I'll keep those memories forever! Thank you Cumberbland Heights employees and alumni for an amazing last chance weekend! 💜

I recently stayed 30 days at Focus / Chattanooga, TN and hated to leave. Great people there that respected you plus the community was welcoming and counselors excellent. I especially enjoyed the yoga and meditation classes in the morning that got you feeling relaxed and mentally motivated for the day. They brought you to outside AA/NA/ CR meetings plus hosted them in house and the YMCA is across the street if you’re want exercise. The food was delicious (with real silverware) so watch your weight. Books to read, movies to watch so it was a healing time for me. I would recommend Focus for anyone in need. Michael Morales

S2L Is a Christ centered recovery center for women. I had only been to 1 other treatment center (back in the 90's, it was 12 Step, secular recovery) The way I found S2L was by no doubt God doing for me what I couldn't do for myself. These ladies poured their hearts & souls into my spirit, reminding me of: who I am in Christ & who GOD is & how GOD sees me. I was only able to stay for 2 weeks due to health complications that were beyond S2L's capabilities. But what I can say is, after only 2 weeks, I came home to chaos with family & intense physical pain & I never once wanted to use alcohol or anything else to change the way I felt. The staff there are truly committed to the people they serve & unselfishly go out of their way to lift you up with the Word of God. I've been home for a little over a week now, my dad still hates me & I'm looking for somewhere to live with no clue how things will work out. However, I know Who is in control & I'm not worried about these things. I feel confident in Christ, he's always pursued me & has always provided. The only other things I want to add are: 1. like most all treatment centers there are strict rules to abide by, go in with an open mind. These rules are for your good. 2. This place has been so amazing! This was truly a move of God to get here and stay all 6 weeks and to go home not powerless but aware of Holy Spirit in me .. I became the clearest in my mind after a very long time. With all of the leaders there and my coach Emily, I was truly blessed. God is in this place! I would always recommend S2L with the christian standards they have. And the love that everyone shown me was almost unfamiliar after so much turmoil but so so sweet. From the very first phone call to the day Mason was discharged, our experience with Embark in Benton, TN exceeded every expectation we had. As a parent, placing your child in residential treatment is one of the hardest decisions you’ll ever make. The entire staff at Embark made that process so much easier by treating both Mason and our family with kindness, compassion, and respect every step of the way. I probably sent far more texts and emails than most parents, constantly checking in and asking questions, yet not a single person ever made me feel like I was being a burden. Every message was answered promptly, every concern was taken seriously, and I always felt heard. What stood out most was how genuinely invested everyone was in Mason. From the treatment team and residential staff to the front desk, every single person took the time to truly know him. He wasn’t just another resident, he was Mason. They learned his personality, celebrated his successes, encouraged him through his struggles, and built relationships that made him feel safe, supported, and valued. Communication throughout his stay was exceptional. The team consistently kept us informed, responded quickly, held appointments as scheduled, and welcomed us during family visits. We always knew they wanted what was best for Mason, and that gave us tremendous peace of mind. Mason spent 64 days at Embark, and the growth we saw in that short time was nothing short of remarkable. I was terrified about the decision for my son to attend Embark in Benton. But I knew on the first day that he would be safe and valued, just based on how patient they were with him through the onboarding process. Throughout his time there, they saw his good through his pain and anger. They worked with him and me to teach us new ways. The place itself was beautiful and my son spent so much time in his happy place of nature. When things were very hard for him, they communicated with me and never gave up. The residential staff are God-sent people. I loved that turnover was so low, that I really knew all the staff by the end of the process. They were familiar and comforting during family visits. ALL the staff - care coordinator, Jaime, Chris, Jake, the nurses, the therapist team, Nathan, residential coaches - were consistently compassionate, communicative, and provided quality, individualized treatment for my family.

Milestones at Onsite is a truly special place. I’ve been to dozens of programs over the years seeking help with my mental health, and Milestones was by far the best experience I’ve had. From the moment I stepped onto the property, I felt comfortable and welcomed. The staff and the people in the program quickly began to feel like family. Sharing deeply personal and private parts of my life, something that normally does not come easily to me, felt surprisingly natural here. The staff genuinely cares about you and treats you like a person and a friend, rather than simply a patient. I’ve spent a lot of my life stuffing difficult feelings down and avoiding them. Milestones helped bring those feelings to the surface and gave me a safe, supportive environment to finally work through them instead of continuing to bury them. I’m incredibly grateful for my experience here and the people I met along the way. Worth every penny, and I would recommend Milestones without hesitation to anyone who is ready to do meaningful work on themselves.

I went to Onsite during the hardest period in my personal life. The process helped me see and work through my attachment style and emotional reactivity. I left with tools, insight and taking responsibility for my side of relationships instead of outsourcing my peace. It helped me see my patterns, more clearly and honestly than before. I have been to treatment over 30 times and by far this has been the best experience. These people have accommodated me with all of my needs and trust me I had a lot of needs! lol I have never had the type of love that Freeman gave to me and my wife. They have the best of staff and the types of clientele that were in this facility were awesome also. I made some lifelong connections at this place and really found out a lot about myself. I found out what my triggers were and really dug deep. They are the only place that accepted me and my wife after she called over 40 places. I promise there needs to be a standard for having a couple in a treatment center because it can be done. Not saying anything about "becoming a couple" in a treatment center because I wouldn't recommend that. We were married before we came in. So if you are struggling with addiction and you are married, this is the place to go. They will accommodate the two of you in the most appropriate ways possible. We talk every night about how much we miss the comraderies that we have gained here. If your struggling, reach out to these people because they will help you. IF they can help a guy like me get sober then they can help anyone get sober. I had the absolute best experience here at Freeman Recovery Center, it was by far the absolute best treatment center I have been to. I looked forever to find a place that would take me and my husband. Let me just tell you that was difficult in itself, this place opened up its doors for us and came through in all aspects. I highly recommend them to anyone in search of treatment no matter the level of care! My therapist was awesome and she really helped me manage some of the things I struggled with. Without a doubt pick up the phone if you need help. These people will help you whichever way they can. They helped us with transportation from 3-1/2 hours away and didn't sweat it. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Iris Wellness. From first contact after hours on a weekend, to accepting my son for treatment even before we had payment worked out, to working with my insurance to get everything covered in-network when they were technically out of network to the fantastic intensive outpatient services. I have seen a dramatic difference in my son from, mood, attitude and overall life goals. He has always enjoyed going and has never once complained. I can't thank them enough for everything that they have done and how they have changed our lives (my son's, mine and our family as a whole). I came to Willow Ridge at the lowest point in my life. I was scared and didn't know where to turn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe and supported. The counselors are compassionate and truly understand addiction. The therapy sessions were incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about myself and the underlying causes of my addiction. Great place for rehab as far as an on-campus facility. Being part of a group allows you to look at yourself closer. We were all different but yet still there for the same reason. Staff was great and honest and always fair. I feel like I would have stopped alcohol without rehab, but Cumberland Heights assured it with its teachings and the things I learned. Summit is one of the best places I've been and I've been to a few, the staff there is amazing! They treat you like family and friend, not like a resident. The techs are all amazing, Holly, Cindy, CeCe, Pri and Don, Natalia, Jenna and Johnny will do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable and safe. The therapist there are also amazing! Shout out to Shawn, Karen, Kevin and the new therapist Jackie I've been to a lot of rehab/mental health places and they do things different there you're not going to hear the same thing you hear everywhere else they really give you tools. Tiffany is one of the most caring people I've met and when you leave she makes sure we're all okay and she truly cares about whether we are all okay. I personally had to go twice this year and the second time I was in crisis I called Tiffany and she got me in that day and I will always be thankful for her for that and to everyone who works there, they all get it they've all been in our shoes even the therapist. I've only been gone one day and Tiffany is already called to check on me. I would recommend this place over any other. Shout out to the kitchen staff as well the cooking is amazing!

Summet was definitely a blessing the staff absolutely amazing the food is delicious I’m definitely in a better place now with my mental health, they give me plenty of tools to work with. I have been back and forth with therapy for many years. This time I truly have a chance thanks to my therapist. Shelby listens without judgment and is always so kind and comforting. Personally I believe everyone should have therapy at least once in their life. I genuinely look forward to to my appointments these days where before I loathed it. The counselors here do the absolute best for their clients and I would never send my friends and family anywhere else but here.

I was frustrated about not being able to find any mental health help after a traumatic injury when I did a walk in at Ridgeview. They got me in the same day and I met with a counselor named David. He was absolutely fantastic. Not only did he truly listen and evaluate, he also gave me resources and direction on where to go for further help. He really cared about me as an individual and set me on the path to find the right type of help for my particular symptoms of PTSD. I am so grateful that Ridgeview was there when I needed it most. This place can be life changing. I had a wonderful experience here which may seem odd to say because of the type of place it is but I mean it. I was at the lowest point in my life and had to be transferred here from Holsten Valley ER (voluntarily) and was super scared to go but felt incredibly welcomed by patients and staff. The staff there will always talk to you and listen to what you have to say and even if you have to ramble they will listen. I had one night where I was absolutely having a miserable panic attack and they did everything they could to calm me down. The food was AMAZING for some reason and I cannot complement the chefs and Lasagna enough. They even went out of their way to find me stuff to eat because of a restricted diet due to my teeth. Sure it was just soups and uncrustables but they didn't have to do that. They even made a vegetarian meal for another patient there. The only "complaint' is that they wake you up to check your vitals but you don't have to leave your room at least in the middle of the night. You get used to it though. You have completely free control over what you do other than vital checks and a morning meeting around 9 that everyone must attend. I cannot recommend this place enough if you need help either mentally or detoxing. Thank you everyone!
