Portland, OR | Tree House Recovery is a drug and alcohol rehab located in Portland, Oregon. They provide inpatient addiction treatment and sober living for men. Addiction-related services provided at Tree House include inpatient addiction treatment and sober living facilities for men. Residential Addiction Treatment Tree House uses treatment modalities that focus | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride.
The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. They challenged me, listened to me, and gave me advice and suggestions I have taken to help me soar.
If you're struggling, you don't have to do it alone. I would highly recommend this program for any man who is having trouble with addiction and needs to turn his life around.
Thank you, Tree House.

My decision to attend treatment was one of the most important decisions of my life and I could not have made a better choice than Treehouse Recovery. This was my first time in treatment and I was terrified while researching places to go. From the very first phone call, the staff at Treehouse made me feel heard, supported, and helped to ease my mind that help was available and change was possible. I could tell from the initial conversations on the phone that was a place that truly cared for each and every client. That same empathetic and welcoming attitude was expressed and carried on at every other step of the process. Embarking on the treatment journey was a time in my life marked by fear and uncertainty but with Treehouse, I knew I had the best support possible and was certainly in great hands.
Before Treehouse, I was living a miserable and isolated life and desperately needed help to get back on track. Throughout the course of the program, I was able to find a strong sense of discipline, integrity, and perseverance and as a result, rebuild myself into the best version of my self that has ever existed. Treehouse’s wholistic approach to treatment empowers each client and arms them with the skills and tools needed to sustain a lasting recovery.
If you are ready to work hard and make some lasting changes to better your life, Treehouse is the best possible choice you can make.

Recovery is rarely a straight path. For me, it was marked by multiple attempts—each one beginning with hope and ending in frustration. I wanted sobriety, but wanting it and sustaining it were two very different things. Each setback carried shame, doubt, and the quiet fear that maybe lasting change just wasn’t meant for me.
Six years ago, everything shifted—but not for me at first. It was my husband whose life was saved by Treehouse. At a time when things felt beyond repair, they stepped in and gave him not just support, but a real chance at living again. Watching his transformation planted a seed in me, even if I wasn’t ready to fully act on it yet.
When I finally completed my own inpatient program, I was fragile but hopeful. Through my husband Treehouse met me right where I was offering suggestions for a straight transition into sober living for women, giving me a safe and structured environment where I could begin to rebuild. For a full year, I worked on myself in ways I never had before. During that time, Treehouse didn’t just check in—they actively supported my growth through their family program facilitating weekly therapy sessions that helped me understand myself, my patterns, and my path forward.
Their presence didn’t end there. Years later, Treehouse was still standing beside our family during one of the most challenging chapters of our lives—our court-mandated reunification. They ensured our son had access to therapy, advocating for healing not just individually, but as a family. Their continued support reminded us that recovery is not a moment in time—it’s an ongoing journey, and no one should have to walk it alone.
Today, I can say with certainty that Treehouse has been an integral part of our success. They didn’t just help us get sober—they helped us build a life beyond what we ever thought possible. A life grounded in stability, growth, and connection.
Some organizations provide services. Treehouse became something much more. They became our support system, our foundation, and ultimately, our family.

Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above..
Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. Seaside, OR | Awakenings by the Sea is a women’s substance abuse treatment center in Seaside, Oregon. Michelle talked our family through all the steps to success and was there for us in every moment. I can not express the appreciation and gratitude I have for her. It is beyond words. She is the only person through our search to get her help that truly cared to see her succeed. She never gave up, even when Awakenings was not the best fit. She worked tirelessly to find the right placement for her and my sister is still alive today thanks to her diligence and support! Thank you!!!!

Awakenings By The Sea is exactly where I needed to be to be able to grasp the concept of true sobriety. From the minute I walked through the doors it was evident to me that this was a place that served those suffering from addiction. The staff are truly dedicated and I believe "called" to spread the message and help to others. The work was hard but sharing it with other women and recognizing their honesty, strength and willingness made it possible for me to do the work and do it with complete honesty. The AA meeting every morning at the Little Yellow House, Von and Shannon's delicious meals, the beach walks, gym time, bowling and movie time----were just what was needed to help in the beginning of healing. Jean who kept our home so clean and tidy and her wonderful sense of humor and stories. The counselors, nurses, admin., etc. are dedicated to each and every woman who comes through the doors. I am forever grateful for the gift of being able to walk through the doors and be a part of this blessed place. I look forward to seeing my Awakening Sisters in the future. I have been given the tools and healing time I was desperately in need of and I cannot thank them enough.

I strongly recommend Awakenings by the Sea for women’s only inpatient treatment! I went through the program about a year ago and miss it so much! It was a very formative part of my recovery and paved the way to successful sobriety. I wasn’t sure I would like it and there was a small conflict that arose between me and one of the staff members while I was there, but ultimately it all made me stronger. Tabitha is a no nonsense counselor, and she is great at finding potential cracks in your plan for sobriety and offering practical suggestions to surpass obstacles. The extracurricular activities are a big bonus… Like leisurely walks on the beach, weekend outings, in-house yoga and visits to the local gym. Patients also get to attend daily meetings at the Little Yellow House in Seaside, which is a world famous AA center. The community I found at Awakenings has stuck by my side and seen me through the good and the bad. I miss the routines, the dedicated staff, the other women, the powerfully moving group sessions, and the around the clock support for my sobriety. I haven’t needed to go back, but if I did, I would definitely choose Awakenings by the Sea for my recovery journey! 🌊💜💯

I am so grateful to Crestview, and most especially Garrett, who coordinated an extremely difficult admission for a loved one suffering from addiction. He was convinced after a few sober days that he could go home, much to the dismay and fear of all those who love him and know his addiction is years in the making. Garrett was instrumental in working tirelessly and patiently to support him until he finally understood his own need for help and was ready for true inpatient recovery treatment. I spent 48 days here and would recommend it to anyone as long as they do not get Anthony as their counselor. He is uncaring, has no empathy, and seems to derive pleasure on singling a person out within the group to pick on. He was horrible to me. He is also new at his job but I don't feel this can be used as an excuse for his apathetic behavior. I am troubled that I shared personal information with him because he took what I told him in confidence and used it against me. He gives you inaccurate information about very important things. So if you go to this treatment center, beware of Anthony! I can't say a bad thing about anyone else. The hub staff is great, and they've got some really good instructors there too. I love the staff and the program but my group with Anthony at the helm was not only not helpful but hurtful.

An absolutely AMAZING facility and staff. This facility doesn't feel like you're in an actual medical detox, it feels more like house sitting for a friend but having access to a doctor/nurse 24/7. You can bring books and stuff to draw/write/paint and they will let you bring nicotine products like vapes and cigarettes in. They have a TV in living room with all the major streaming platforms like Netflix/Hulu/Prime/HBO and a few others
They got me a bed and in very quickly and the intake process was also fast and not super invasive. Staff was very friendly and caring. You get 3 home cooked meals a day and they are GOOD. It's not some slop on a tray like jail or hospital food. They provide you a myriad of comfort medications and you don't have to argue and fight with them about it. They made sure I knew that I could come ask for more if I was feeling unwell.
To top it off they really care about getting you into an aftercare program and getting the help you need to get back on your feet afterwards.

This recovery program changed my life. Another Chance helped me get into sober housing my first day of treatment; the manager has now asked me to be the assistant house manager of that house, and I have been sober for 5 months now. This is all due to what I’ve gained from the classes at Another Chance. The counselors at Another Chance truly care about their clients and promote long term sobriety through community supports. Counselors teach through discussion based classes around psychotherapy, recovery, coping skills, and self sufficiency. The counselors work with each person to make their recovery “work for them” when it comes to making a schedule/requirements for their program. I use this facility for all of my prescriptions, Dental, PCP and mental healh. I am very grateful to the staff as they are all very friendly and while I've always had aququate care White City VA is above and beyond.

My experience at Spark Wellness Recovery Center has truly been life-changing. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with compassion, understanding, and a level of support I didn’t even know I needed.
The addiction counselors played a huge role in my recovery journey. They took the time to really listen and understand where I was coming from, without judgment. Their guidance helped me uncover the root of my struggles, and their personalized approach made all the difference. The mental health counselors were equally amazing—patient, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. They helped me work through emotional challenges I had been carrying for years and gave me tools to start healing from the inside out.
Every member of the staff at Spark Wellness, from the front desk to the group facilitators, created a warm and safe environment that made me feel supported every step of the way. It never felt like I was just another client—they genuinely cared about my well-being and celebrated each milestone with me.
I left the program not only with a deeper understanding of myself but also with a solid set of skills that I continue to use every day. The coping strategies, communication techniques, and mindfulness practices I learned here have given me a strong foundation to build a healthier, more hopeful future.
I am so grateful for everything Spark Wellness has done for me. If you or someone you care about is struggling, reaching out to them. They truly care - and it shows in everything they do.

Graduating from Spark Wellness has truly changed my life. When I came in, I was scared, broken, and unsure if I could ever stay sober, but today, I am proud to say I am sober, employed, and present as a mother and grandmother.
The program gave me real tools to maintain my sobriety in the real world, including relapse prevention, healthy coping skills, and how to build a support system. The job readiness and life skills training helped me gain employment, which has given me confidence and a sense of purpose I had lost. I now wake up each day ready to show up for my family and live a life I’m proud of.
What stood out most to me was the staff and counselors. They were consistently compassionate, non-judgmental, and truly invested in my success. They supported me every step of the way, even when I doubted myself. The groups were engaging and taught me how to communicate better, manage stress, and set healthy boundaries.
The program has a high success rate because they provide structured accountability while treating you with respect and dignity. I saw many others graduate during my time there, and I continue to see people thriving after completing the program, which speaks to the lasting impact of their approach.
If you are struggling and feel like there is no way out, this program can help you find hope and a new way of living.
I am now a better mother, grandmother, and person because of Spark Wellness. I am so grateful for the opportunity to heal here, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is serious about changing their life and sustaining sobriety.
Thank you, Spark Wellness, for helping me find myself again and for giving me a second chance at life!
