Coming into Treehouse PDX I was missing the mental tools needed to treat my trauma that led to my drinking. I didn’t know how to cope and realized that I wasn’t like normal people who drink. I drank to fill a hole. However with being in the PHP program, I got a lot of the help I was looking for. With great leadership and counseling they helped me get back to a place where I can heal. Where I can now use these tools and build a life that I can call healthy and be inspired by. The house itself is a lot nicer than what I think people may expect. The Facility itself for me is great! (I don’t go to the gym so I don’t have much to compare to, so it feels top notch to ME). We work out for about 4 hours every weekday. Running, Yoga (aka “Joga”), MMA padwork, pickleball and more. The counseling is amazing. The team definitely makes you feel like you’re getting 1 on 1 care, even considering the amount of clients they have. This is my first and I believe last treatment center I will be attending. But I think this is the BEST. I’ve heard from other people in the sober community who have had more experience than I do and they never fail to tell me about what a privilege I have in being in Treehouse. Thank you to Treehouse Staff, My Brothers and Team! I’m happy to say I’ve made lifelong connections while on this lifelong journey of healing.

My time at treehouse recovery changed my whole trajectory in life. It’s rare that anyone give themselves a chance to hit stop and spend 3 months dedicated to only growth and healing from the past. I will always look at treehouse as the pivotal point when I decided to do what I needed for myself. I can’t stress enough how amazing this program is. I have seen so many men come in different stages of spiritual decomposition and leave glowing and empowered with new purpose and strength. 100/10.

I found Crestview for my family member after a friend highly recommended it based on her experiences with it for her family member. My first point of contact was Garrett. As a psych/ER nurse myself, being on the other side of this moment was terrifying. He walked me through everything with empathy, kindness and true compassion. Hours of crying, hard work with my family member, and connection even months to later to make sure we are okay has set a new standard for me as I evaluate recovery programs. Our experience with Crestview Recovery Center exceeded every expectation we had. The level of care and compassion shown by the entire staff is truly exceptional. They didn't just focus on our daughter's recovery—they genuinely cared about her as a person, treating her with dignity, respect, and kindness every step of the way. What impressed us just as much was the support they provided to our family. Addiction affects everyone who loves the person struggling, and the Crestview team understood that. They were there for us throughout the entire process, offering guidance, encouragement, and reassurance far beyond what we ever expected. Garrett, who helped us through the admissions process, was outstanding. His professionalism, patience, and compassion made an incredibly difficult time much more manageable. He worked with us over an extended period, helping us navigate insurance and ensuring everything was in place so that when our daughter was finally ready to seek treatment, her admission to Crestview was seamless. I came to Oregon Trail Recovery Services not as someone unfamiliar with addiction treatment, but as someone who has spent more than 15 years working in the behavioral health and substance use treatment field as a counselor, clinical supervisor, administrator, and advocate. The greatest strength of this program is not simply its curriculum or structure—it's the people. Every single day, I have been met with kindness, compassion, encouragement, and accountability. The staff have an incredible ability to challenge me while never making me feel judged. They have celebrated my victories, helped me through difficult moments, listened when I needed someone to hear me, and reminded me that recovery is possible even on the days when I questioned myself. What stands out to me most is that I have never felt like just another client. I have felt seen as a person. The staff genuinely care about each individual's success, and that care is reflected in the countless small moments that often go unnoticed—checking in after a difficult group, offering words of encouragement, celebrating milestones, laughing together, and creating an atmosphere where healing feels possible. As someone who has supervised treatment programs myself, I pay close attention to culture, professionalism, and clinical quality. Oregon Trail has created something special. Their staff consistently demonstrate integrity, empathy, patience, and clinical competence. They don't simply teach recovery—they model it through the way they treat people. Throughout my time here, I have participated in intensive treatment, recovery planning, peer support, 12-step work, parenting education, relapse prevention, and ongoing clinical services. More importantly, I have begun rebuilding my confidence, my character, and my hope. The tools I am learning here will continue to shape my recovery long after I leave this program. This experience has also reignited my passion for the behavioral health profession. Rather than allowing my relapse to define me, Oregon Trail Recovery has helped remind me why I dedicated my life to serving others in the first place. It has given me renewed purpose and strengthened my commitment to continue my own recovery while working toward restoring my professional credentials. Recovery is about so much more than abstinence. Entered WFC on July 25th 2021 and I had the best experiences even during covid they kept the place running and my treatment plan was on spot I learned a lot about myself and I'm proud to say I graduated at 61 days and continuing in IOP. The staff at Awakenings are the most caring, selfless, understanding people on the planet. Michelle is a godsend and worked so hard to get my sister the treatment she needed. She was in a dark place and is a very stubborn individual and coupled with alcohol addiction- she was a difficult patient to say the least. Michelle talked our family through all the steps to success and was there for us in every moment. I can not express the appreciation and gratitude I have for her. It is beyond words. Awakenings By The Sea is exactly where I needed to be to be able to grasp the concept of true sobriety. From the minute I walked through the doors it was evident to me that this was a place that served those suffering from addiction. The staff are truly dedicated and I believe "called" to spread the message and help to others. The work was hard but sharing it with other women and recognizing their honesty, strength and willingness made it possible for me to do the work and do it with complete honesty. The AA meeting every morning at the Little Yellow House, Von and Shannon's delicious meals, the beach walks, gym time, bowling and movie time----were just what was needed to help in the beginning of healing. Jean who kept our home so clean and tidy and her wonderful sense of humor and stories.The counselors, nurses, admin., etc. are dedicated to each and every woman who comes through the doors. I am forever grateful for the gift of being able to walk through the doors and be a part of this blessed place. I look forward to seeing my Awakening Sisters in the future. I have been given the tools and healing time I was desperately in need of and I cannot thank them enough.

It is heartwarming to have a team of dedicated support for those struggling with substance misuse in finding their way back to themselves! In particular Jolena who was able to provide individualized support and reassurance regarding transitioning my loved one into a step down program where he is fully taken care of and supported. Jolena exercised genuine empathy with the utmost of intentions in making a necessary transition flawlessly happen. I am beyond satisfied with what came of my journey throughout my time in this facility. Nearly the entire crew of staff consisted of people that actually care and take pride in being the people put in place to help these women, and have a genuine desire to help patients navigate through their individual recovery journey however they can. The best part, hands down, was getting to be witness to so many moms and children be reunited! It was so beautiful and inspiring to see, and this is an event happening on the regular at this place. I spent 48 days here and would recommend it to anyone as long as they do not get Anthony as their counselor. He is uncaring, has no empathy, and seems to derive pleasure on singling a person out within the group to pick on. He was horrible to me. He is also new at his job but I don't feel this can be used as an excuse for his apathetic behavior. I am troubled that I shared personal information with him because he took what I told him in confidence and used it against me. He gives you inaccurate information about very important things. So if you go to this treatment center, beware of Anthony! I can't say a bad thing about anyone else. The hub staff is great, and they've got some really good instructors there too. I love the staff and the program but my group with Anthony at the helm was not only not helpful but hurtful. Everything and Everyone else deserves an A plus.

This place made a big difference for my child, and that is all that really matters to me. I will say, they could have HUGE improvements in parent involvement, parent education, and family therapy. At times, they seemed almost anti- parent, which seems to me to be a strange approach to recovery. My ex and I were left on completely different pages as to next steps for our child. They should take a note from Clementine which has great support for parents. But, my child is doing well, and I'm thankful.

Wanted to thank the staff and everyone who was in here at the same time as me. I didn't come here entirely on my own free will, but because I was kind of cornered into it by my therapist. And I wasn't happy about putting my life on hold to be here. But now I see why she really wanted me to go. I had no previous experience with programs like this and didn't know what to expect. And you can bet I doubted everything every step of the way. I still do in some areas. But the longer I was there, the more I saw a difference and realized why things are done the way they are. I got a lot out of the program in the relatively short time I was there and have seen a big difference in my eating and thinking. And also in my physical health and brain. My memory has really noticeably improved and so has how I feel physically. And I've felt so much calmer and happier compared to before I went in. Turns out eating consistently helps you not feel like you're in fight or flight all the time, who would have thought haha.

this has been the best eating disorder treatment center i have been in! yes, they did make me eat food and not engage in behaviors but i don’t feel the need to anymore! lauren has been very helpful to my recovery! she deserves a raise for all the work she puts in. anyone can see how passionate she is about her job! ari is an amazing therapist! amanda is doing an AMAZING job as clinical director! she is determined and dedicated to helping others live eating disorder free! all the staff is amazing and wonderful! 10/10 would recommend! #edfree

Cielo was suggested to me by my residential treatment center because of my interest in spiritual and wholistic based healing. Cielo’s counselors and facilitators work with us to heal the root cause of our addictions in a way that honors and validates our experience without sugar coating the harsh realities we face. This balance works for those ready to accept and challenge old patterns and ideas. The thing I liked most about Cielo was the groups, and how they were facilitated. I healed so much and having spent four months there, hardly did I see repetition in the material that was presented. I came to Cielo like a lot of people do, broken down discouraged, low self esteem and not too trusting. I’ve been through treatment many times and this place was something different.
