One of the things that I think stands out the most about this facility is the RISE program that provides tailored treatment for veterans with substance use disorder. The staff will focus on the unique challenges that military members struggle with, such as trauma and PTSD.

Clients will be provided with a supportive and safe environment to discuss their challenges and develop relapse prevention strategies. The staff members that you’ll work with have experience working with veterans and their families.

I had a very positive experience at this place 🙂. Everyone was wonderful. Bruce tells it like it is! No BS. Carter is very engaging. Heather made my experience magical. I had no idea why I was there in the first place, and as I continued attending, I was provided very helpful tools to help me understand myself and my situation a little better. I have nothing but great things to say about them, except maybe the parking situation could be a bit better, but I am not judging 😉.

All of the tools and resources you need are available here. Although the true impetus for progress is found within, there are people here who genuinely care about their patients and their patients recovery. Carter, Mark, Sage and Dane to name a few employees at Crestview who have been instrumental in helping me find value in life, and foster a loving relationship with myself. In doing so I am able to share that kindness with friends, family, and strangers alike (not always easy!) . It may or may not work for you but it worked for me. I just took it seriously, I took suggestions, and I wasnt afraid to face my problems head on thanks to the coping skills and fresh perspectives I gained while at Crestview. The mystery of life isn't a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Inpatient rehabs differ from outpatient facilities in the intensity and frequency of treatment. Clients in inpatient care reside at the treatment facility for the length of the program. They engage in intensive addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Treatment programs may draw from a variety of methods, including CBT, DBT, RBT, trauma therapy, and motivational interviewing. Holistic therapies, such as yoga and message, are frequently available to clients in inpatient care.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

24-hour clinical care in Oregon offers a safe place for those experiencing withdrawal to recover in a medical detox program. Around-the-clock care lessens the risk of serious withdrawal symptoms and provides a more comfortable detox process. With medical staff on-site, more serious symptoms are less likely to develop and pose health threats. Medications and nutritional treatment can be provided, as well as mental health treatment to address any co-occurring disorders.

When in-person visits aren't possible, telehealth in Oregon allows you to access the care you need. Via remote access, you can meet with a specialist, get a prescription, learn about treatment, or consult with your doctor.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Oregon offers a full continuum of care for those struggling with addiction. From detox, to inpatient, to outpatient, to aftercare, Oregon residents can find the support they need for recovery. This treatment empowers individuals to replace drug use with positive alternatives and develop a healthier lifestyle.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

You can find comprehensive substance abuse treatment in Oregon, for individuals struggling with substance abuse and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. Typically, you'll find inpatient, outpatient, and residential programs, which incorporate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. Treatment usually begins with a comprehensive assessment and personalized treatment plan, which may involve individual, group, and family therapy. You'll also learn vital skills to help you sustain your sobriety.

Programs

Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a one-on-one form of talk therapy conducted between a patient and a therapist. CBT is based on the fact that a person’s actions are greatly influenced by their personal thoughts and feelings. As a result, counselors use CBT to decrease negative thinking and increase positive thinking. This can lead to healthy changes. There are two primary elements of CBT: Functional analysis and skills training.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

This place is vile and not a place for anyone who has mental health struggles and is different or struggling in anyway they treat you like trash and have no co communication they take your stuff and don't tell you why they hire techs who have no compassion or professional demeanor and treat clients indifferent and they act like it's highschool instead of recovery don't come here if u are different at all you have to be a sheep to be here and fit in. They made me sleep in a room with no air conditioning claiming it was a rule but bended that rule for someone else I got no sleep in the room for a month and on top of that they drug tested me for not sleeping thinking I was using drugs and I had told them I can't sleep in that hot room but they had no empathy for me. It was hard to be there seeing the way they favored other clients. I did submit a formal complaint and was never contacted regarding my concerns. However they responded to this review for people to see but make no effort to contact me as a human. They just want the internet to see the words below to make it seem like they care which they do not. However that’s what kind of people are doing recovery soulless people who are in it for the money. Which is fine good for them and the spoils of insurance payments and all the things they can get for themselves off human suffering it’s the world we live in.
