This place is run very poorly, I was genuinely shocked. All the buildings are run down, stained carpets, broken doors, multiple tiny beds to a tiny room, done for blatant financial reasons to pack as many people in a room as possible - the guests comfort is blatantly irrelevant despite the $20,000 asking price. Almost none of the beds were made, showing that the people there are not interested in truly changing. They also had drug rap music playing on the tv (Young Thug). Absolutely ridiculous for their asking price. Not an environment to heal and get better. False advertisement.
Not ADA accessible (steep and narrow stairs, no elevator when all classes are held on the second floor). Staff was rushing me through the intake process, and did not go over the PHP material (content of classes, available in-house resources, etc.) and didn't seem to know their own processes. My insurance carrier specified this place as specializing in LGBTQ+ but the person doing intake tried to categorize me into specific boxes that didn't apply to me. It was also not clarified if the program separates mental health from the substance use program or if it's all mixed together. I was handed a binder and water bottle but not given time to review the paperwork while onsite.

Garrett also took the time to help me process the emotions that come with having a child battling addiction, offering thoughtful guidance and support that I will never forget. On the day our daughter arrived, Zoey, her counselor, was remarkable. When our daughter wanted to leave, Zoey met her with empathy, patience, and understanding. Her ability to connect with our daughter and help her choose to stay was nothing short of extraordinary. The care, thought, and dedication that every person at Crestview Recovery Center puts into helping individuals and their families is beyond measure. We are deeply grateful for the role they have played in our daughter's recovery journey.
