I when I started at Calhoun county treatments center it changed my life !!!!! I had been addicted to pain pills for about 15 years give a couple of years I would stop then start back really horrible cycles !!! I have been clean since 3008 Awesome counselors ❤️ Great program if you work lit awesome nurses ❤️ And can’t forget the window secretary’s ❤️ I took off and haven’t looked back ❤️I’m stronger than I ever thought I could be and it has changed my life in so many ways ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Community volunteer organization, Mobile district offices. Providing meals, support and outreach to homeless or displaced/abused individuals.

I went there to donate some toys and clothing. The people there were very nice.

I didn't believe in God anymore because I thought he put my addiction and my life experiences that most people couldn't live threw and I didn't grow up in Church and couldn't do my work without help from the ladies in there until they taught me how to use the Bible and feel what was in the Bible in my heart now I believe in God and know it was me that did all of that to myself and I learned I had to pay for my mistakes and for the hustles that I did to people to feed my addiction I've been in and out of prison ,jail and rehabs for 25 years paying for the things I did and I still to this day pay for them in my heart and mind but I know now that God has my back to help me threw my life they helped me believe in God again and that was the most precious thing any one could ever do for me

Love ladies changed my daughter's life for ever 2 years sober and a full time mother again.A the woman christ intended for her to be the staff was amazing she said it was the hardest best thing shes ever done

The VA Bessemer Clinic staff is always efficient and respectful to my Father and we as his children. Dr. Cooley takes the time to listen from the heart and provide valuable feedback.

We relocated from another state and Bessemer VA was quick to schedule appointment for my husband as well as insure additional appointments were arranged for additional specialty clinics. We were very impressed with the provider as well as the staff. We appreciated their efficiency as well as their caring attitudes. Made this part of our relocation a relief. Additionally, every clinic we have encountered between Bessemer and Birmingham has been very positive, professional, and efficient!

On behalf of our son and entire family, I can’t thank Deshell, Sy (Office Mgr) the Doctors and entire staff at Pathway enough for their prompt communications, empathy for the patients and ability to get appointments quickly. Also, working through some Insurance/Rx issues that we have dealt with for months at another provider. If you are looking for this type of care then you will be incredibly pleased with this entire group and their attentiveness to the needs of their patients. Glad we finally found a home at Pathway. Extremely Satisfied!!

Impact Recovery was a great experience. This disease can make one feel alone and hopeless. In this place I felt welcome and embraced by the staff and other residents that share in this disease. They teach you not only to live a sober life but much more about a different way of life that is fulfilling and free. I can’t say enough about the staff”s authenticity and genuine care and understanding of someone going through and battling this illness. It comes from their own life experiences that are relatable to our own, as they all have battled this disease and live to share and help others achieve the same.

I honestly can’t thank Impact and their entire staff enough! I had no clue what to expect with them being my very first treatment center. I’ve never worked the Steps before and truly believed that I was just meant to live the same miserable life that I’ve been living until my death. They showed me that was far from the truth. I can proudly attest to that with today being 90 days sober! This is the longest I’ve been 100% off anything mind-altering since I was 14 years old. From my very first call with the owner Adams to my last day of the 35 day program, everyone treated me with so much kindness and patience. They teach you everything you need to know in order to live a happy and healthy life without drugs/alcohol, you just have to be willing to not only learn what they teach but also put it all into practice in real life. Wherever below rock bottom is, I was there for sure before Impact. Adams, Chad, Shaun, Colby, Schwartz, Dikis, Taner, Moody, Sam, Kathleen, and Emily, you are all a Godsend and I thank you for honestly saving my life. My brother is in Freedom Hall healthcare. The Drs, nurses, cna’s, PT, housekeeping and kitchen staff are all very caring. They go above and beyond for Charles and the family sitting with him. I have sat at 6 different facilities with family. None come close to meeting the high standard Freedom Hall reaches.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Brooksie and David at the VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Their commitment to supporting veterans is evident in everything they do. They’re responsive, compassionate, and consistently go the extra mile to ensure veterans receive the care and resources they need.

I was there at the inpatient PTSD program from March until May. I had a very positive experience while there. The medical staff was always polite to me as well as any of the other staff members I met. I never felt like I was a problem or a burden or causing them an inconvenience when I asked for something. This VA helped save my life and give me the foundation to lay my new mental health journey upon. My case worker Robin S. was aces! Helped me selected a class schedule-work load that was focused on PTSD. The only issue I had was the food. The food was horrible but the dietician’s did work with me to change up my personal menu. There are rules in place for the resident and the rules will not be violated without repercussions. I kept my head down, minded my own business and walked so much around the campus in my down time. Those 7 weeks flew by. You can have Amazon prime deliver things to you for your stay and your allowed door dash. There are random drug screenings and breathalyzers as part of the stay. These are mandatory not suggested. Be involved in your care and you will have a great experience. Be a problem and you’re gonna get treated as such. Thank you to everyone who helped me to get there, while I was there and the after discharge phone calls to check up on me. I am one appreciative veteran.

Love it. They don’t want to see you everyday, they want you to succeed and get your take homes and they make youstill feel like a human and not just a number with a $. If you have to wait more than 10-20 minutes ever from pull up to leaving lot then suck it up and shut your mouth because it’s a rare occurrence and if you have been to other clinics you know how long the wait time is almost daily 😭 just remember that on those blue moon days 😁 But truly they are phenomenal ;each nurse Dr and counselor deserve praise! Thanks To The Team!!!

I work construction out of town a lot,so I've been to a few dozen clinics from Philadelphia PA to Jacksonville FL. By far this facility is 10 times more professional,quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems,but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.
