I have battled fentanyl addiction for over 3 years and if you are an addict of the same caliber then you know there’s no detoxing without help off that demon! I went to this place as a last resort to impatient with no expectations since nothing else has ever worked and let me tell you I haven’t felt as “normal” if that’s a word I can use to describe it as in years even before the addiction took hold..I have energy and I am clear headed.. you have to give this a try you won’t be sorry! From the front desk, to the counselor, the nurse, the doctor I mean even the clinic director and other counselors these people care! They don’t treat you like someone who doesn’t deserve help or like it’s your own fault your where you are. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. I am sure they will get it back together soon.People need to understand that they are highly critiqued by federal laws. But as long as you do what your supposed to, you will not have any problems. Hospital, but I was very pleased with the care my husband received. We came in after hours through the ER. I called and ask for directions how to get him inside, and where to park my car. He was in a transport wheel chair. The lady came out to my car, and called for someone to take my husband inside, while I parked a couple of blocks away. When I got to the ER he was already in a bay, with the IV in his arm. They conducted all the testing & cat scan. Every single person was kinder than the last. They even brought him a breakfast tray. They determined he would be admitted and shortly after that was placed in his room. They also asked if I wanted a bed in the room with him. He was there around 10 days.( I declined) And they absolutely were up to date, kind, and above and beyond anything I would have expected. The parking at the V.A. center and shuttling took a while to navigate, I do wish that had been explained to me sooner. CL W 6 days ago My first time experience at the Birmingham VA was very pleasant. Today's visit was as efficient as I have ever seen. The emergency check in, triage, being checked out by a PA, X-ray, nurse administering shots, very smooth. Everyone was so professional and courteous. Review of the images, discharge, and a reasonable wait at pharmacy, and then out the door I went. From the time of arrival until I departed was just under 2.5 hours. Well done Birmingham VA staff! They are a true blessing from God. If it wasn't for them, God, my mother, and my kids I wouldn't be here today. No lie. They have never once turned me away. They have been here through my very worst days to now my best days. You know growing up i never thought I would have ever even come close to having any addictions such as these street drugs. Always thought my addiction would have been makeup or high heels, but you know noone when they are little claims that they wanna be an addict when they grow up... unfortunately, it just happens. But by it happening i have met some of the most wonderful people in my life at this clinic. The most God sent individuals!! Miss Tonja has been here since day one and Amber. Miss Amber and Miss Tonja are my life. If they were to ever leave this location ohh my!! I know because of their help and dedication I will never relapse, I can now say that with full confidence, but it sure would not be the same here without them. Never. Not once did either of them turn me away and there were times that I definitely would have turned myself away but they didn't. They fought not only for my well being but my soul, my family, my children. They also, with my permission (they never do anything without permission from you), even involved my mother with my treatment. & that is something I truly love. My mother is my everything, my best friend, so her opinions, feelings, and thoughts matter to me. Theres nothing in this life my mother doesn't know about me. Just as Miss Amber and Tonja. I can honestly say that throughout the past 14+ years that I have been here (note, I choose to stay here. I don't have too) a ton has happened and my choices has caused tons of hurt and heartaches but I am no longer there anymore. & neither do you have to live that horrible life anymore. I highly recommend that you come to this very location and talk to them because they are not here for just the money. They are mainly here for you and your treatment, your wellbeing, your life, your family, your children, even your soul. YOU!! You can tell these people anything and everything and I promise you they will not judge you, they will not hold it against you. They will help you grow. They will help you become that person you were before your addiction. Or if you font even wanna be that person you were before the addiction than they can help you to be someone new and better!! Remember, there is always a way!! Always!! Don't ever let anyone tell you that there isn't or that it isn't possible because if I can do it than I know you can. Remember addiction does not discriminate. Addiction doesn't care if you are poor or rich, or if you are a doctor, lawyer, homeless, on disability, work for the state, a teacher, a customer service representative, it doesn't matter. Addiction doesn't care how old you are either. Addiction doesn't care about your skin color, your health concerns, none of that. The only thing addiction cares about is taking everything and everyone away from you and it will. If you allow it to. Don't allow the devil that pleasure anymore. Don't. Come to Montgomery Metro Treatment Center and speak to Miss Amber, Mr. Larry, Miss Tonja, anyone and get your life back. I have had Greaaaaattttt counselors here who are very helpful and not overly strict when you have earned that right but I've also had others who are not great counselors and clearly do not want to be there. I have upped my review to 4 of 5 stars because I finnaly have a amazing counselor again. Still could be better im a 32 year old perfectly healthy young man and a physical being required every 3 months is just ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have to wait 2 hours+ to even see the doctor for that physical. Also not being aloud to dose untill completing my physical is ridiculous since the wait time is so long. I love Mindy and Constance! Great counselors and staff, altogether. I would also like to mention a few more. Kim usually doses me 2 out of 3 days a week and gives me my takehome most times, and she, as well as the staff follow procedure. Very professional, but yet understanding and no judgement. There's every reason you can talk truthfully to any one of them. And then there's Elijah. Oh Elijah.... wouldn't be the same without him and his open eye. Nothing gets past him. He's a wonderful man of God. He and anyone here will go out of their way to help. Another thing I want to mention is the knowledge I've gained from Kim as far as other medical issues. Mindy is also great with things like drawing blood, for instance. That's a HUGE deal. If it doesn't work out, it's because my veins are small. They will not keep hurting you and one nurse doesn't mind giving another one a shot at it. Last but not least, gotta love Chad and Ken!! My Family is the best!! I love you, Mindy, Kim, Constance, Elijah, Ken, Chad, Carol, Cierra(sp?), and all my family here. I hope I left no one out. I have never been arrested and I figured it would be really hard to be a dad while in active addiction. That was in 2001. I've moved around to different places, Gadsden, Trussville, Tuscaloosa and others. I really loved the people in Tuscaloosa and hated leaving. I had to return to the Oxford area, to help with my mom who was terminal with cancer. When I transferred back to Oxford they were great. I loved the staff. At one point they were down to a skeleton crew, they did the best they could at the time with what they had. They have gotten more staff now and they are wonderful. I don't feel like my number so much. Yes, they are strict on the rules but look at what they deal with. I can manipulate just about anyone as an active addict. We all have that power. Wingate were the best people & care I have received military or civilian that I can even remember. My anxiety was in full blown mode and April made me feel so understood and she was such a comfort. And B. Wingate made me feel heard and understood and set up all test, meds and referrals that were needed. I feel extremely bless to have had these two taking care of me and can not stress enough how quick , efficient and KIND they both were. He was shot twice in the stomach and twice in the chest. He remained calm and called 911 and told God you saved me once so I know you will save me again. He was born three days after my 42nd birthday and received his name due to a healing when they said he was going to die. His name is Blesset Isaiah Person. After he was named after a Nigerian friend named Blessing and my sister-in-law said to name him Isaiah which means the Lord Saves I called and gave my assistant minister his name and the doctors’ cane in and said look like he’s going to pull through to which I responded there is no look like with God! Anyway UAB trauma surgeons are the best in the country. The surgery took about 41/2 hours. He lost a kidney, his spleen, a piece of his pancreas and has a bullet lodged in his back. First off when I made it to the 9th floor trauma unit Fonda gave me a coffee cake and Laquita continued to take care of me and my family daily! The nurses were heavenly divine. There was Abby Vice my favorite and Abby Hadaway my other favorite, plus Emily, and Shantia my son who relieved me and my son the patient’s favorite along with me. Omg all the nurses were so great. The PCAs’ Jason, Jordon, Brady, Daphne and the rest went above and beyond. As for the doctors’ the Trauma doctors were the best this side of heaven. Dr WAN was so kind and friendly. He explained my son’s condition very well as did Dr. Frutata and Dr Wu who discharged him today! Dr Amini made a great impression on me as well and Dr Weiner. They are exceptional and do their jobs in a manner consistent with excellence. I’m proud to have known them! I love that THEY OFFER GRANTS that cover all or most of your treatment. Focus is definitely not on counseling here, and your experience can vary pretty widely depending on who you get. I'm currently on a by-the-book stickler counselor, but they never last long so hopefully my next one will be better. I think I've had 5+ counselors I've gone through in less than a year because they come and go so quickly. Dr. Archibald tends to be less than sympathetic to addicts. I'm not sure why people like that work in these places but I guess maybe they start wanting to help then get jaded. They have helped with managing my anxiety and depression that stem from the final diagnosis, as well as my ADHD. My chart ended up getting messed up sometime late last year and I didn’t have insurance, either. I was able to be seen in a timely manner and redo my intake. Fawn at the Fairhope office was such a sweetheart and helped me redo everything, and thankfully, some of my last chart had been saved and recovered. She was with me all the way in explaining the issue and helped me with the updated process. I finally came here for just a regular annual pap smear because tuskegee was the closest appointment day I could get, Montgomery appointments were months out. Mind you I'm from Montgomery. I figured any opportunity to see someone else was an opportunity I could probably get someone to help me. I was willing to take the drive. I ended up seeing Rakia Williams and she already noticed abnormalities during the exam and scheduled me for an ultrasound (pelvic and transvaginal) but the results was inconclusive, I had a second one done and also ct scan, then finally and MRI, which determined I have Adenomyosis and other multiple issues. Now I'm finally scheduled for a hysteroscopy to determine treatment and can finally see the light at the end if the tunnel. I just want to thank Rakia Williams in womens health 🙏 for not giving up on figuring out my issues and concerns and responding to my calls as well as following up with me about information. Thank you for not thinking im crazy and that its all in my head. You are truly appreciated, patient, a kind soul, blessed and may you achieve all of you accomplishments and future endeavors. By far this facility is 10 times more professional,quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems,but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Also they have so many different types of group meetings that helps in parenting as well as spiritual and emotional groups, and a councillor for everyone who goes. I’m only 4 days in but let me tell you though it works! I have battled fentanyl addiction for over 3 years and if you are an addict of the same caliber then you know there’s no detoxing without help off that demon! I went to this place as a last resort to impatient with no expectations since nothing else has ever worked and let me tell you I haven’t felt as “normal” if that’s a word I can use to describe it as in years even before the addiction took hold..I have energy and I am clear headed.. you have to give this a try you won’t be sorry! From the front desk, to the counselor, the nurse, the doctor I mean even the clinic director and other counselors these people care! They don’t treat you like someone who doesn’t deserve help or like it’s your own fault your where you are. Idk I guess I just am so surprised yet grateful to be free from the monkey on my back I want everyone to know they can be free to..I hope this finds and helps someone else get on the same track to living again!

I had been on this exact same program years ago and actually moved out of state is the reason I had stopped before but I just recently came back to the same place and everyone welcomed me with open arms with resources that is offered there for you and they offer counseling as well as other resources to help you stay on a positive recovering path. I’ve been on the program for 12 years, I ve had 3 awesome counselors. I stayed with one for 9 years, without her I wouldn’t have made it. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. I am sure they will get it back together soon.People need to understand that they are highly critiqued by federal laws. But as long as you do what your supposed to, you will not have any problems.

I never thought I'd be leaving a review for the V.A. Hospital, but I was very pleased with the care my husband received. We came in after hours through the ER. I called and ask for directions how to get him inside, and where to park my car. He was in a transport wheel chair. The lady came out to my car, and called for someone to take my husband inside, while I parked a couple of blocks away. When I got to the ER he was already in a bay, with the IV in his arm. They conducted all the testing & cat scan. Every single person was kinder than the last. They even brought him a breakfast tray. They determined he would be admitted and shortly after that was placed in his room. They also asked if I wanted a bed in the room with him. He was there around 10 days.( I declined) And they absolutely were up to date, kind, and above and beyond anything I would have expected. The parking at the V.A. center and shuttling took a while to navigate, I do wish that had been explained to me sooner.

My first time experience at the Birmingham VA was very pleasant. Today's visit was as efficient as I have ever seen. The emergency check in, triage, being checked out by a PA, X-ray, nurse administering shots, very smooth. Everyone was so professional and courteous. Review of the images, discharge, and a reasonable wait at pharmacy, and then out the door I went. From the time of arrival until I departed was just under 2.5 hours. Well done Birmingham VA staff!

This place saved my life. The staff is amazing I love them, they have become sort of like family as long as I've been getting treatment under their care. The nurses are so sweet and caring. Let me first start off by saying this place has helped to save my life but the actually people here, the employees, like the councilors such as Miss Tonja, Mr. Larry, and the head honcho, lol, Miss Amber, now they have actually saved my life. They are a true blessing from God. If it wasn't for them, God, my mother, and my kids I wouldn't be here today. No lie. They have never once turned me away. They have been here through my very worst days to now my best days. You know growing up i never thought I would have ever even come close to having any addictions such as these street drugs. Always thought my addiction would have been makeup or high heels, but you know noone when they are little claims that they wanna be an addict when they grow up... unfortunately, it just happens. But by it happening i have met some of the most wonderful people in my life at this clinic. The most God sent individuals!! Miss Tonja has been here since day one and Amber. Miss Amber and Miss Tonja are my life. If they were to ever leave this location ohh my!! I know because of their help and dedication I will never relapse, I can now say that with full confidence, but it sure would not be the same here without them. Never. Not once did either of them turn me away and there were times that I definitely would have turned myself away but they didn't. They fought not only for my well being but my soul, my family, my children. They also, with my permission (they never do anything without permission from you), even involved my mother with my treatment. & that is something I truly love. My mother is my everything, my best friend, so her opinions, feelings, and thoughts matter to me. Theres nothing in this life my mother doesn't know about me. Just as Miss Amber and Tonja. I can honestly say that throughout the past 14+ years that I have been here (note, I choose to stay here. I don't have too) a ton has happened and my choices has caused tons of hurt and heartaches but I am no longer there anymore. & neither do you have to live that horrible life anymore. I highly recommend that you come to this very location and talk to them because they are not here for just the money. They are mainly here for you and your treatment, your wellbeing, your life, your family, your children, even your soul. YOU!! You can tell these people anything and everything and I promise you they will not judge you, they will not hold it against you. They will help you grow. They will help you become that person you were before your addiction. Or if you font even wanna be that person you were before the addiction than they can help you to be someone new and better!! Remember, there is always a way!! Always!! Don't ever let anyone tell you that there isn't or that it isn't possible because if I can do it than I know you can. Remember addiction does not discriminate. Addiction doesn't care if you are poor or rich, or if you are a doctor, lawyer, homeless, on disability, work for the state, a teacher, a customer service representative, it doesn't matter. Addiction doesn't care how old you are either. Addiction doesn't care about your skin color, your health concerns, none of that. The only thing addiction cares about is taking everything and everyone away from you and it will. If you allow it to. Don't allow the devil that pleasure anymore. Don't. Come to Montgomery Metro Treatment Center and speak to Miss Amber, Mr. Larry, Miss Tonja, anyone and get your life back. Remember anything is possible as long as you have God on your side and believe and TRY!! You will he surprised at just how powerful a prayer can be prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. I went to Bradford broken homeless and hopeless, I went on a whim, but really it was God don't fire me what I couldn't do for myself. I was very thoroughly taken care of through detox all the way to when I left. The BHT for my cabin B.J., Shelly, and Susan were all very loving and helpful. Also very relatable. My counsellor Rebecca dug in deep and helped me realize things I didn't even my problems were rooted to. I recommend Bradford to anyone seeking help. Also Ms Shareda has done a great job at reaching out since I left which has kept me very motivated.

Update 7/22/2026 Still absolutely amazing people! Still the best place in Alabama for opiate recovery! My counselor Morgan had a baby and is no longer there and I now have Stephanie Paige via telehealth and she is an absolutely a life saver! She has helped me through the worst of times and helped me see myself as worthy and I consider her one of the truest realest people I know, Mr.Terry, Margaret, Jasmine, Jean, Dr.Atchley and the nurses are all truly here for us to help us recover!! I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the Lord and their support!!!🙏❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ UPDATE 6/28/21: This place is still the absolute best! My permanent counsler MORGAN is literally the BEST!! SHE IS THERE FOR ME 1000%! I just had to include her in my review because she desevers it, along with Mr.Terry , Mrs.Margret, Mrs.Michelle(who has helped me soo much in the financial/insurance department) & EVERY SINGLE booth doser there, they have all truly helped save my life!...now onto my original review.. 4/2020 I transferred here from Huntsville Recovery and I am SO GLAD I DID!! Huntsville Recovery has great staff but the doctor there doesn't care AT ALL about her patients, neither did any of my counselors. While at Huntsville Metro/New Seasons they got me in and tried their best to fix what Huntsville's Recovery wronged, they truly care! This place is amazing! Without them I would have had to continue to endure going to a place that treated me like just another worthless addict even though ive had over a year of clean drug screens! Huntsville metro treatment me great and really cares for everyone, my intake counsler, ANA listened, talked with me and took care of every single concern or issue I had and the doctor there DRr.ATCHLEY tries every way possible to help you he gives you tons of info and is just an all around great guy!! A lot of your quality of life in treatment here is going to depend on which counselor you get. I have had Greaaaaattttt counselors here who are very helpful and not overly strict when you have earned that right but I've also had others who are not great counselors and clearly do not want to be there. I have upped my review to 4 of 5 stars because I finnaly have a amazing counselor again. Still could be better im a 32 year old perfectly healthy young man and a physical being required every 3 months is just ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have to wait 2 hours+ to even see the doctor for that physical. Also not being aloud to dose untill completing my physical is ridiculous since the wait time is so long. Ive never dosed then left without completely doing everything required of me so I shouldn't be treated like ive done something wrong.

I love this Clinic, and all the people that has taken care of us! Mindy, Kim, Constance my counselor, kierra.. and others ..I'm really upset over the people who owns BHG in Stevenson.. They have decided to shutdown the clinic we have in Stevenson . The people that works there, truly care for the patients. I remember one year there was snow on the road and no one person was told to open the clinic .. one nurse Mindy ( maybe there where a few others) .. she showed up for us,because she didn't want us to be miserable! .Lord if only everybody was as thoughtful as all the people who works at BHG in Stevenson.. it would be a better world.. I wish the people shutting them down was as thoughtful caring and understanding as all of them where with us .. but it's such a shame when money matters more than the people u are supposed to be helping.. money and greed has ruined so many lives ..

Staff is very helpful and friendly. A pleasure to be a patient here. Better experience at Stevenson compared to Huntsville! I love Mindy and Constance! Great counselors and staff, altogether. I would also like to mention a few more. Kim usually doses me 2 out of 3 days a week and gives me my takehome most times, and she, as well as the staff follow procedure. Very professional, but yet understanding and no judgement. There's every reason you can talk truthfully to any one of them. And then there's Elijah. Oh Elijah.... wouldn't be the same without him and his open eye. Nothing gets past him. He's a wonderful man of God. He and anyone here will go out of their way to help. Another thing I want to mention is the knowledge I've gained from Kim as far as other medical issues. Mindy is also great with things like drawing blood, for instance. That's a HUGE deal. If it doesn't work out, it's because my veins are small. They will not keep hurting you and one nurse doesn't mind giving another one a shot at it. Last but not least, gotta love Chad and Ken!! My Family is the best!! I love you, Mindy, Kim, Constance, Elijah, Ken, Chad, Carol, Cierra(sp?), and all my family here. I hope I left no one out. I don't know what I'd do without their listening ears and kind smiles and caring eyes. They all are equally Godsent. As Kid Rock says, To all you crackheads, you critics, you cynics, and all my heroes at the methadone clinic!!! BAWITTABA!! My new counselor, Carol, is sweet. I started going to the methadone clinic after my daughter was born. I have never been arrested and I figured it would be really hard to be a dad while in active addiction. That was in 2001. I've moved around to different places, Gadsden, Trussville, Tuscaloosa and others. I really loved the people in Tuscaloosa and hated leaving. I had to return to the Oxford area, to help with my mom who was terminal with cancer. When I transferred back to Oxford they were great. I loved the staff. At one point they were down to a skeleton crew, they did the best they could at the time with what they had. They have gotten more staff now and they are wonderful. I don't feel like my number so much. Yes, they are strict on the rules but look at what they deal with. I can manipulate just about anyone as an active addict. We all have that power. It comes with the territory. Thank you everyone at the Oxford,Al clinic.

There will always be people who have bad VA experiences and want to be negative. I am NOT one of them! This facility is well laid out, and the staff is efficient and helpful. I had one glitch with their optometry department, but otherwise, no issues in 2+ years of going here. What they cannot do, they refer out for Community Care, or suggest the Birmingham VA. Despite Birmingham being nearly 2 hours each way, it’s been worth the trip each of the 2 times I went there. Unless I move, I will continue to go to this clinic, and I’ll recommend it. I appreciate the staff there each time I visit.

I have always heard VA medical horror stories my entire life. I had my first VA appointment today and my nurse April B. and PCP B. Wingate were the best people & care I have received military or civilian that I can even remember. My anxiety was in full blown mode and April made me feel so understood and she was such a comfort. And B. Wingate made me feel heard and understood and set up all test, meds and referrals that were needed. I feel extremely bless to have had these two taking care of me and can not stress enough how quick , efficient and KIND they both were. Edit upon edit: Just wanted to clarify that they stop dosing at 12pm on weekdays. They used to close at 11am and sometimes would lock the door at 10:45am, but this doesn't seem to be the case now. Everything runs so smoothly here these days I'm happy to report. But go ahead and assume the 11:45am is the last possible time. The time for picking up take-home doses has also changed from a year ago, and it is now until 12pm as well Monday thru Friday. Im thinking that the hours they have listed, which is 5am to 1pm, might be the working hours of nurses and counselors. But it does not refer to dosing hours. Everyone here is great and it's never run more smoothly than now.

My son was shot 4 times on Jan 31 on my granddaughter’s 13th birthday in front of his father in Bessemer. He was shot twice in the stomach and twice in the chest. He remained calm and called 911 and told God you saved me once so I know you will save me again. He was born three days after my 42nd birthday and received his name due to a healing when they said he was going to die. His name is Blesset Isaiah Person. After he was named after a Nigerian friend named Blessing and my sister-in-law said to name him Isaiah which means the Lord Saves I called and gave my assistant minister his name and the doctors’ cane in and said look like he’s going to pull through to which I responded there is no look like with God! Anyway UAB trauma surgeons are the best in the country. The surgery took about 41/2 hours. He lost a kidney, his spleen, a piece of his pancreas and has a bullet lodged in his back. First off when I made it to the 9th floor trauma unit Fonda gave me a coffee cake and Laquita continued to take care of me and my family daily! The nurses were heavenly divine. There was Abby Vice my favorite and Abby Hadaway my other favorite, plus Emily, and Shantia my son who relieved me and my son the patient’s favorite along with me. Omg all the nurses were so great. The PCAs’ Jason, Jordon, Brady, Daphne and the rest went above and beyond. As for the doctors’ the Trauma doctors were the best this side of heaven. Dr WAN was so kind and friendly. He explained my son’s condition very well as did Dr. Frutata and Dr Wu who discharged him today! Dr Amini made a great impression on me as well and Dr Weiner. They are exceptional and do their jobs in a manner consistent with excellence. I’m proud to have known them! I wish them continued blessings in order to continue to help others’ in their professional journey!💙🔥💙🔥💙🙏🏿

I have actually worked at different VA hospitals and clinics over the years helping take care of veterans, but this is the first time I have gotten to experience the VA as a patient. With my experience within the VA Healthcare System, I know there are good facilities, and some bad ones. The clinic in Monroeville is exceptional! The people within the VA clinics are what makes them or breaks them. Nurses/dosing staff: 5/5 Receptionist: 5/5 Dr. Archibald: 2/5 Counselors: 2/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Safety: 4/5 Parking Lot: 3/5 Nurses/front desk/dosing staff are great, really sweet people who treat you like you're human. I love that THEY OFFER GRANTS that cover all or most of your treatment. Focus is definitely not on counseling here, and your experience can vary pretty widely depending on who you get. I'm currently on a by-the-book stickler counselor, but they never last long so hopefully my next one will be better. I think I've had 5+ counselors I've gone through in less than a year because they come and go so quickly. Dr. Archibald tends to be less than sympathetic to addicts. I'm not sure why people like that work in these places but I guess maybe they start wanting to help then get jaded. One good thing about him though is that he'll prescribe narcotics like Xanax and Adderall on top of the Methadone if you play your cards right.

Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. Walking into IOP was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I was scared, overwhelmed, and didn’t know if recovery was even possible for me. From the very beginning, the staff met me with compassion instead of judgment. The counselors genuinely cared—not just about helping me stay sober, but about helping me understand myself. They created a space where I felt safe enough to be honest, and for the first time in a long time, I didn’t feel alone. The group sessions reminded me that healing isn’t something we have to do by ourselves. IOP gave me tools I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. It taught me how to recognize my triggers, process difficult emotions, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. More importantly, it gave me hope when I had very little. Recovery is still something I choose every day, but I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am without the team at Bradford. I stopped a 20 year addiction to cocaine and alcohol in November, 2024. After my treatment I was released to Bradford Health Services for "intensive outpatient" classes. Allison Neal and Melissa Wisdom are 2 employees at this facility. I have to say that they show more care and gave more help to me, than anyone in my entire recovery. They truly blessed my walk. And if it wasn't for them, I would have relapsed a couple of times. They need their praise.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Liz. She has been such an incredible therapist for my son, Oliver, and has helped him through so much. She has a gift for making him feel safe, comfortable, heard, and understood, and watching the trust he has developed with her means more to me than I can put into words. But what makes Mrs. Liz especially incredible is that her support doesn’t stop with Oliver. She has helped me tremendously as his mom, too. She doesn’t just tell me what we’re working on, she gives me actual words and phrases to use, ideas to try, different ways to approach situations, and practical tools that I can take home and use in our everyday lives. She helps me understand what Oliver may be feeling or needing and gives me ways to better support him through it. She is also always full of encouragement, which sometimes is exactly what a parent needs to hear. The things she has taught both of us have carried far beyond the therapy room. We’ve been able to take what we learn from her and incorporate it into our life at home, and it has genuinely made such a difference for our family. I am incredibly thankful for her knowledge, patience, encouragement, and the way she cares for not only my child, but for me as his parent as well. And Mrs. Phyllis and Mrs. Gigi at check-in and check-out are just as wonderful. Their smiles and positive attitudes are there every single time we walk through the door. They always seem genuinely happy to see Oliver, and he is always happy and comfortable going there. That kind of warmth and consistency means so much, especially when it’s a place your child visits regularly. The facility is always clean, neat, welcoming, and comfortable, but it’s truly the people who make this place so special. When you’re trusting someone to help your child navigate big feelings, challenges, and important stages of their development, having a team that truly cares about your child and supports you as a parent is invaluable. Mrs. Liz and this entire team have made such a positive impact on our lives. I can honestly say that the support, tools, encouragement, and care we’ve received here have been transformative for our family. I am beyond thankful for all of them and for the difference they have made in both Oliver’s life and mine. We absolutely love them and could not recommend them more highly!

I have been going here since I was 20 and vouching for my autism diagnosis. They have helped with managing my anxiety and depression that stem from the final diagnosis, as well as my ADHD. My chart ended up getting messed up sometime late last year and I didn’t have insurance, either. I was able to be seen in a timely manner and redo my intake. Fawn at the Fairhope office was such a sweetheart and helped me redo everything, and thankfully, some of my last chart had been saved and recovered. She was with me all the way in explaining the issue and helped me with the updated process. Much love to the Fairhope staff and excited to start my mental health journey with a new outlook and a clean slate.

My counselor Mary is always timely and professional. Catie is my doc and I have yet to see her on time. Today she was afull hr behind normally its 45 mins. As I am a professional employed woman, I would appreciate better timely appointments. I have not encountered this problem in all the over 10 years I've been a patient at this fairhope adult outpatient facility.

The staff, nurses and primary care are helpful. The men's restroom near the waiting area is in deplorable condition! 1 urinal is wrapped up and out of order. The 2nd urinal floods the floor every other flush. I had to alert another veteran using a walker the floor was flooded. The sink faucets leak water. The overall condition is very bad.

This is maybe my second time here, I'm giving this place 5 stars because I have been in pain for months, going to see multiple different people at different places, Even went to ER on and off about my pain, dizziness, blackouts and extra heavy bleeding just to be sent home with no solution and people thinking it was just anxiety. I finally came here for just a regular annual pap smear because tuskegee was the closest appointment day I could get, Montgomery appointments were months out. Mind you I'm from Montgomery. I figured any opportunity to see someone else was an opportunity I could probably get someone to help me. I was willing to take the drive. I ended up seeing Rakia Williams and she already noticed abnormalities during the exam and scheduled me for an ultrasound (pelvic and transvaginal) but the results was inconclusive, I had a second one done and also ct scan, then finally and MRI, which determined I have Adenomyosis and other multiple issues. Now I'm finally scheduled for a hysteroscopy to determine treatment and can finally see the light at the end if the tunnel. I just want to thank Rakia Williams in womens health 🙏 for not giving up on figuring out my issues and concerns and responding to my calls as well as following up with me about information. Thank you for not thinking im crazy and that its all in my head. You are truly appreciated, patient, a kind soul, blessed and may you achieve all of you accomplishments and future endeavors. Thank You ❤️

Wonderful team of Counselors, Nurses, our Doctor, our front desk staff, our janitor, our pharmacist who MAKES sure we are taken care of if she has something come up, our Director and my counselor is the best! The zoom meetings are always a great time! They make it possible to succeed! They have empathy! They all have compassion and treat you with dignity. Love it. They don’t want to see you everyday, they want you to succeed and get your take homes and they make youstill feel like a human and not just a number with a $. If you have to wait more than 10-20 minutes ever from pull up to leaving lot then suck it up and shut your mouth because it’s a rare occurrence and if you have been to other clinics you know how long the wait time is almost daily 😭 just remember that on those blue moon days 😁 But truly they are phenomenal ;each nurse Dr and counselor deserve praise! Thanks To The Team!!!

I work construction out of town a lot,so I've been to a few dozen clinics from Philadelphia PA to Jacksonville FL. By far this facility is 10 times more professional,quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems,but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.
