Bradford at Madison did great job getting me through Alcohol DETOX. Great staff to include the Doctor, Nurses, Therapists and Pharmacy. I haven't had a drink in 23 days and I feel great. No cravings and confident there's no concern about a relapse. I should have done this 10 years ago. Now I can take my Grandson outdoors and teach him to hunt and fish with a clear and sober mind. This is and will continue to make a tremendous improvement in my quality of life.

They are caring and will personally help you get on the right track and on the right dose for you. Also they do saboxon and methadone treatment. Also they have so many different types of group meetings that helps in parenting as well as spiritual and emotional groups, and a councillor for everyone who goes. I’m only 4 days in but let me tell you though it works! I have battled fentanyl addiction for over 3 years and if you are an addict of the same caliber then you know there’s no detoxing without help off that demon! I went to this place as a last resort to impatient with no expectations since nothing else has ever worked and let me tell you I haven’t felt as “normal” if that’s a word I can use to describe it as in years even before the addiction took hold..I have energy and I am clear headed.. you have to give this a try you won’t be sorry! From the front desk, to the counselor, the nurse, the doctor I mean even the clinic director and other counselors these people care! They don’t treat you like someone who doesn’t deserve help or like it’s your own fault your where you are. Idk I guess I just am so surprised yet grateful to be free from the monkey on my back I want everyone to know they can be free to..I hope this finds and helps someone else get on the same track to living again!

Birmingham Recovery Center provided a space for me to heal mentally, physically, and spiritually during this season in my life. Looking back at my time at BRC, I was met with 1 on 1 therapy, group processing, while being held accountable. I learned how to get honest and vulnerable with the help of the staff there. BRC played a pivotal role in helping me build a foundation for my life while healing from my past. So that I could move forward and live life on life’s terms. I’m beyond grateful for all the staff at BRC, they helped me in more ways than I could ever count. I’ll recommend BRC to whoever God puts in my path that’s looking for a new way of life. Let me first start off by saying this place has helped to save my life but the actually people here, the employees, like the councilors such as Miss Tonja, Mr. Larry, and the head honcho, lol, Miss Amber, now they have actually saved my life. They are a true blessing from God. If it wasn't for them, God, my mother, and my kids I wouldn't be here today. No lie. They have never once turned me away. They have been here through my very worst days to now my best days. You know growing up i never thought I would have ever even come close to having any addictions such as these street drugs. Always thought my addiction would have been makeup or high heels, but you know noone when they are little claims that they wanna be an addict when they grow up... unfortunately, it just happens. But by it happening i have met some of the most wonderful people in my life at this clinic. The most God sent individuals!! Miss Tonja has been here since day one and Amber. Miss Amber and Miss Tonja are my life. If they were to ever leave this location ohh my!! I know because of their help and dedication I will never relapse, I can now say that with full confidence, but it sure would not be the same here without them. Never. Not once did either of them turn me away and there were times that I definitely would have turned myself away but they didn't. They fought not only for my well being but my soul, my family, my children. They also, with my permission (they never do anything without permission from you), even involved my mother with my treatment. & that is something I truly love. My mother is my everything, my best friend, so her opinions, feelings, and thoughts matter to me. Theres nothing in this life my mother doesn't know about me. Just as Miss Amber and Tonja. I can honestly say that throughout the past 14+ years that I have been here (note, I choose to stay here. I don't have too) a ton has happened and my choices has caused tons of hurt and heartaches but I am no longer there anymore. & neither do you have to live that horrible life anymore. I highly recommend that you come to this very location and talk to them because they are not here for just the money. They are mainly here for you and your treatment, your wellbeing, your life, your family, your children, even your soul. YOU!! You can tell these people anything and everything and I promise you they will not judge you, they will not hold it against you. They will help you grow. They will help you become that person you were before your addiction. Or if you font even wanna be that person you were before the addiction than they can help you to be someone new and better!! Remember, there is always a way!! Always!! Don't ever let anyone tell you that there isn't or that it isn't possible because if I can do it than I know you can. Remember addiction does not discriminate. Addiction doesn't care if you are poor or rich, or if you are a doctor, lawyer, homeless, on disability, work for the state, a teacher, a customer service representative, it doesn't matter. Addiction doesn't care how old you are either. Addiction doesn't care about your skin color, your health concerns, none of that. The only thing addiction cares about is taking everything and everyone away from you and it will. If you allow it to. Don't allow the devil that pleasure anymore. Don't. Come to Montgomery Metro Treatment Center and speak to Miss Amber, Mr. Larry, Miss Tonja, anyone and get your life back. Remember anything is possible as long as you have God on your side and believe and TRY!! You will he surprised at just how powerful a prayer can be prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. This place has literally saved my life, The Manager Amber, my counselor, nurses, and all staff are awesome. They were there for me when my Brother passed without them holding me accountable, spent alot of time with me to make sure I didn't relapse. Ive tried other programs but this is the only one that works. Anytime I need to talk they are there for me over time they have gotten to know me. They actually care about there patients. Ive used the time here to get ready Mentally and Spiritually. I believe im ready to prepare myself for a sober life. Its a safe and positive place for recovery.

Montgomery Metro Treatment Center is an incredible facility with even more incredible staff. Every member of the staff are kind, accommodating, knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to do everything they can to help you. In a time when recovery is often stigmatized, compassionate staff with lived experience is KEY to connecting on a personal level with people going through substance abuse recovery, and in my opinion, Montgomery Metro Treatment Center and everyone working there, from the receptionist, to the counselors, the nurses, and the doctor, are all godsends. If you are apprehensive about getting help here, please, I urge you to come inside and just ask to speak with any of the counselors, or nurse Tony. You WILL be taken care of here, you will be seen not as an addict but as a person looking to make a change, take the first step.

I’ve been on the program for 12 years, I ve had 3 awesome counselors. I stayed with one for 9 years, without her I wouldn’t have made it. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. I am sure they will get it back together soon.People need to understand that they are highly critiqued by federal laws. But as long as you do what your supposed to, you will not have any problems.

I'm have been going to this clinic off and on for many years.I can honestly say the reason myself leaving the clinic has nothing to do with uncaring staff from the intake service to the counselor's, nurse's, Doctors,Directore,Etc...Its an open door clinic meaning I can talk to anyone who's door is open if my assigned counselor is not available at that time. Thats some of the reasons if I need to leave or return the door is always open with no negative remarks. 🙂

A lot of your quality of life in treatment here is going to depend on which counselor you get. I have had Greaaaaattttt counselors here who are very helpful and not overly strict when you have earned that right but I've also had others who are not great counselors and clearly do not want to be there. I have upped my review to 4 of 5 stars because I finnaly have a amazing counselor again. Still could be better im a 32 year old perfectly healthy young man and a physical being required every 3 months is just ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have to wait 2 hours+ to even see the doctor for that physical. Also not being aloud to dose untill completing my physical is ridiculous since the wait time is so long. Ive never dosed then left without completely doing everything required of me so I shouldn't be treated like ive done something wrong.

I would like to share my review of Huntsville Metro Treatment center because how much the staff here has done for me. Everyone from my personal counselor Ms.Gooden, to my support specialist Mr Hughey and administrator Mr. Terry. Even their billing team went out of their way to help me get set up on the day they could see me and also helped me find benefits that I did not know were available. Dr. Atchley is a great Dr. and you will see he cares about everyone. The nurses are very professional and caring as well. For as many patients that they have to see and treat daily it’s amazing the treatment they continue to bring daily. This is a great place for treatment.

My son was shot 4 times on Jan 31 on my granddaughter’s 13th birthday in front of his father in Bessemer. He was shot twice in the stomach and twice in the chest. He remained calm and called 911 and told God you saved me once so I know you will save me again. He was born three days after my 42nd birthday and received his name due to a healing when they said he was going to die. His name is Blesset Isaiah Person. After he was named after a Nigerian friend named Blessing and my sister-in-law said to name him Isaiah which means the Lord Saves I called and gave my assistant minister his name and the doctors’ cane in and said look like he’s going to pull through to which I responded there is no look like with God! Anyway UAB trauma surgeons are the best in the country. The surgery took about 41/2 hours. He lost a kidney, his spleen, a piece of his pancreas and has a bullet lodged in his back. First off when I made it to the 9th floor trauma unit Fonda gave me a coffee cake and Laquita continued to take care of me and my family daily! The nurses were heavenly divine. There was Abby Vice my favorite and Abby Hadaway my other favorite, plus Emily, and Shantia my son who relieved me and my son the patient’s favorite along with me. Omg all the nurses were so great. The PCAs’ Jason, Jordon, Brady, Daphne and the rest went above and beyond. As for the doctors’ the Trauma doctors were the best this side of heaven. Dr WAN was so kind and friendly. He explained my son’s condition very well as did Dr. Frutata and Dr Wu who discharged him today! Dr Amini made a great impression on me as well and Dr Weiner. They are exceptional and do their jobs in a manner consistent with excellence. I’m proud to have known them! I wish them continued blessings in order to continue to help others’ in their professional journey!💙🔥💙🔥💙🙏🏿

They close at 10:45am on weekdays. They literally lock the door at 10:45am, and on Saturday and Sunday, they close at 8am. So please take this into consideration, or you might find yourself missing your dose. Also, you have to be there by 9am if you are picking up take-home doses. I think the hours they have listed, which is 5am to 1pm, might be when the working hours of nurses and counselors. But it does not refer to dosing hours.

I had been on this exact same program years ago and actually moved out of state is the reason I had stopped before but I just recently came back to the same place and everyone welcomed me with open arms with resources that is offered there for you and they offer counseling as well as other resources to help you stay on a positive recovering path. I’ve been on the program for 12 years, I ve had 3 awesome counselors. I stayed with one for 9 years, without her I wouldn’t have made it. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. I am sure they will get it back together soon.People need to understand that they are highly critiqued by federal laws. But as long as you do what your supposed to, you will not have any problems.

I started going to the methadone clinic after my daughter was born. I have never been arrested and I figured it would be really hard to be a dad while in active addiction. That was in 2001. I've moved around to different places, Gadsden, Trussville, Tuscaloosa and others. I really loved the people in Tuscaloosa and hated leaving. I had to return to the Oxford area, to help with my mom who was terminal with cancer. When I transferred back to Oxford they were great. I loved the staff. At one point they were down to a skeleton crew, they did the best they could at the time with what they had. They have gotten more staff now and they are wonderful. I don't feel like my number so much. Yes, they are strict on the rules but look at what they deal with. I can manipulate just about anyone as an active addict. We all have that power. It comes with the territory. Thank you everyone at the Oxford,Al clinic.

I see that most of the reviews are over three years old. I have been using this clinic for about 15 years and it has gone through some rough times. At one point some of us had contacted the IG because appointment wait time was 3 or 4 hours. This issue was fixed along with a number of other issues. I suggest for those who have had bad experiences try again. A new clinic has opened on November 15,2021. It is right beside Oxford Lowes. For now I will give 4 stars. After my upcoming appointments I may reevaluate. I have to upgrade my review to 5 stars. The addition of Audio and Optometry to this new clinic has definitely made life easier. The service here has improved 💯 percent over what it was at the old location. The staff is amazing and I have a lot of appointments, so I'm not just a frequent visitor. A special thanks to all the staff who serve us with dignity and honor. With Respect, Thank YOU for your service.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. A pleasure to be a patient here. Better experience at Stevenson compared to Huntsville! I love Mindy and Constance! Great counselors and staff, altogether. I would also like to mention a few more. Kim usually doses me 2 out of 3 days a week and gives me my takehome most times, and she, as well as the staff follow procedure. Very professional, but yet understanding and no judgement. There's every reason you can talk truthfully to any one of them. And then there's Elijah. Oh Elijah.... wouldn't be the same without him and his open eye. Nothing gets past him. He's a wonderful man of God. He and anyone here will go out of their way to help. Another thing I want to mention is the knowledge I've gained from Kim as far as other medical issues. Mindy is also great with things like drawing blood, for instance. That's a HUGE deal. If it doesn't work out, it's because my veins are small. They will not keep hurting you and one nurse doesn't mind giving another one a shot at it. Last but not least, gotta love Chad and Ken!! My Family is the best!! I love you, Mindy, Kim, Constance, Elijah, Ken, Chad, Carol, Cierra(sp?), and all my family here. I hope I left no one out. I don't know what I'd do without their listening ears and kind smiles and caring eyes. They all are equally Godsent. As Kid Rock says, To all you crackheads, you critics, you cynics, and all my heroes at the methadone clinic!!! BAWITTABA!! My new counselor, Carol, is sweet. I haven't known her long, but she and Scott(my previous counselor) has helped me probably more than any other I've had here. I know a few staff members put in a word to get me that help. I cried when Scott left. That should say a whole lot!!

I honestly can’t thank Impact and their entire staff enough! I had no clue what to expect with them being my very first treatment center. I’ve never worked the Steps before and truly believed that I was just meant to live the same miserable life that I’ve been living until my death. They showed me that was far from the truth. I can proudly attest to that with today being 90 days sober! This is the longest I’ve been 100% off anything mind-altering since I was 14 years old. From my very first call with the owner Adams to my last day of the 35 day program, everyone treated me with so much kindness and patience. They teach you everything you need to know in order to live a happy and healthy life without drugs/alcohol, you just have to be willing to not only learn what they teach but also put it all into practice in real life. Wherever below rock bottom is, I was there for sure before Impact. Adams, Chad, Shaun, Colby, Schwartz, Dikis, Taner, Moody, Sam, Kathleen, and Emily, you are all a Godsend and I thank you for honestly saving my life. Wonderful team of Counselors, Nurses, our Doctor, our front desk staff, our janitor, our pharmacist who MAKES sure we are taken care of if she has something come up, our Director and my counselor is the best! Love it. They don’t want to see you everyday, they want you to succeed and get your take homes and they make youstill feel like a human and not just a number with a $. If you have to wait more than 10-20 minutes ever from pull up to leaving lot then suck it up and shut your mouth because it’s a rare occurrence and if you have been to other clinics you know how long the wait time is almost daily 😭 just remember that on those blue moon days 😁 But truly they are phenomenal ;each nurse Dr and counselor deserve praise! Thanks To The Team!!!

I work construction out of town a lot,so I've been to a few dozen clinics from Philadelphia PA to Jacksonville FL. By far this facility is 10 times more professional,quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems,but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.

It’s a great place. The parking is extremely easy. It is located beside the railroad tracks up on a hill. They do draw blood and do labs in house, which is extremely convenient. They offer mental health and general practitioners. No specialties are located there. You’ll need to go to Birmingham for that.

This is the only clinic I've been to that seems to care about their patients all the way through-- the doctors, the therapists, and the front desk always are extremely courteous and considerate. Concerns you voice are taken seriously, and your input is considered regarding your own treatment. I don't want to name any one person, because legitimately, everyone here has been extremely good to me. I'd recommend them.

I have had such a pleasant experiences here. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients. I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here.

Nurses/dosing staff: 5/5 Receptionist: 5/5 Dr. Archibald: 2/5 Counselors: 2/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Safety: 4/5 Parking Lot: 3/5 Nurses/front desk/dosing staff are great, really sweet people who treat you like you're human. I love that THEY OFFER GRANTS that cover all or most of your treatment. Focus is definitely not on counseling here, and your experience can vary pretty widely depending on who you get. I'm currently on a by-the-book stickler counselor, but they never last long so hopefully my next one will be better. I think I've had 5+ counselors I've gone through in less than a year because they come and go so quickly. Dr. Archibald tends to be less than sympathetic to addicts. I'm not sure why people like that work in these places but I guess maybe they start wanting to help then get jaded. One good thing about him though is that he'll prescribe narcotics like Xanax and Adderall on top of the Methadone if you play your cards right.

I learned those are people who are there to help you and they are actually very serious about health and recovery. Now I am a happy, functioning, productive member of society. Counselors knew where to take me and were non-judgemental. Everyone acts as if you are the only client because they give you their full attention (and there is a lot of people coming really)
