| Starbridge Recovery Center, located in Los Angeles, California, is an alcohol and drug rehab center that provides addiction treatment services to men and women seeking recovery. They offer a luxury environment equipped to help individuals through medical monitoring, emotional healing, and guided support during the initial stages of treatment. Indi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Any good story should start so there I was. So there I was, I was a meth user for 30 plus years and an alcoholic. I don't know we're to begin on how much starbridge helped me.. my mental health was shot by body was shot and my pride was shot I had been to countles facilities and programs during my 30 years of use and soon as i left I knew I was getting high. Something clicked here at starbridge recovery for me yes I have a 1 year old and a partner at home that I was trying to get clean for but the staff and faculty had me realize that I need to do first and for most for me than my family will reap the benefits of the real Tyson. I can go on and on about the good food from the private chef the heated pool the nurse on duty the technician that run groups and the counselor/psychiatrist,and the other clients that were there at my stay... but what really got me was soon as walked in the door the energy that overcame my body and In my belief the other countless souls of the people who came and left before me left a part of themselves there. And I knew that I was safe from whatever my problems were that they were gonna be taken care of I want everyone too know that starbridge recovery has saved me and has shown my family a new man one that they deserved for 30 years ..... thank you for saving my life everyone at starbridge and beyond. I now have a life without drugs and fighting mental health issues because they gave me the tools I needed to prevail and strive in my new clean sober life thank you and if anyone needs help or has doubts let starbridge take your hand and show you the path to sober life I give a 5 star cause Google doesn't have 10 thank you so much I can't say it enough sor saving me. This was the best recovery experience! This was not my first time in treatment and I thought that I knew what to expect. The groups were small and intimate. The staff and other clients were caring, empathetic, open minded and friendly. I was introduced to Smart Recovery which is a great alternative to 12 step programs. We attended 12 Step meetings as well. All the techs and counselors were committed to my success. My therapist Stephanie is a great listener! She heard my concerns and was able to present other perspectives that I hadn t thought of. The chef, Dean is a fabulous cook! Dustin, Evan, Leslie, Sam, Brittany, America were all essential in this process. They are all proof that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety but connection!

Starbridge Recovery Center didn t just save my life they taught me to be the best version of myself I could ever imagine. Walking into Starbridge, I was broken and lost, but from the very first moment, I felt surrounded by compassion, warmth, and genuine support. The staff here goes above and beyond; they are more than just professionals they re real people who care deeply about each and every person who walks through the doors.Through their guidance, I didn t just recover; I discovered a new sense of self-worth and confidence that I never thought possible. They taught me essential tools, grounded in empathy and understanding, that I now carry with me every day. I ve left Starbridge with not only a new outlook on life but also with a strong foundation for a bright future. My experience at The Canyons was life changing. Antonio and his team of therapists, support groups and staff are all wonderful to work with and truly care about your recovery and well being. I have had other experiences in recovery and have never come out with a more solid foundation and hope for the future than I have since leaving the canyon. The Canyon was the turning point in my sobriety journey. As a gay man, it was crucial for me to find treatment that focused on addressing addiction itself rather than its symptoms, such as sex or objectification. The inclusive and affirming environment at The Canyon provided exactly that.I am deeply grateful for the unwavering dedication of Antonio, Franchesca, and the entire staff, who helped guide me from a place of hopelessness to healing. Completing the program has transformed my perspective I now see the world through a lens of abundance and am committed to helping others in their recovery journey.A special shoutout to Michaelis and Kelani for their incredible support throughout this process. From the moment I stepped into these door, I felt safe, understood, and welcome. The staff here were very supportive, compassionate, and encouraging. I became “a part of the family.” This is essential in recovery ❤️🩹. Family, that’s something that’s priceless. Windie, Christian, Vanessa, Alyssa the nurse, the entire staff have been there for me on many levels, on every level. It’s truly a blessing and I feel humbled and grateful to have been able to come here. The owners are involved and take the time to get to know us clients, the groups are amazing, informative, and the variety available to us allowed me to uncover the many layers that lead to my addiction. I was sick when I came in from withdrawals and was literally nursed back to health. There a personal chef on the weekdays that cooks gourmet type foods three times a day! They order breakfast lunch and dinner on the weekends from wherever we want, or agree on. The staff hangs out with us and play cards, pool table, ping pong 🏓. The views here are amazing, you can see downtown LA and Hollywood. There’s weights and a jacuzzi here. It’s an overwhelming experience too much to write! I am humbled to have been able to be a part of this and would recommend this to any of my friends or family if they are struggling with their addiction, this home made me optimistic about my recovery and I’m proud to be part of their recovery community, which welcomed me with arms wide open ❤️

My stay at Hollywood Hills Recovery was nothing less than life changing.
I have never been to treatment before but within minutes there felt exactly like they always state “You may enter as a client, but you leave as family”. From just the house itself which is roomy and well kept, to the food (shout out Chef Ray and his cookies) to the techs and counselors (Cristian, Josh, Heather, Tristan, Wendie/Lovebug 😘, Rueben, Johnny) I was automatically put at ease.
I originally planned to stay for just the 10 days of detox but (as I’m sure everyone there is tired of hearing! 💕) stayed an extra week for the mental health help . The therapists of all modalities (Hesou, Sarah (x2), Bill, Phillip, Gabe, Robert, Chris and more that I am sure I am leaving out) are amazing and make you feel heard and understood. The doctor is literally available 24/7 (not sure how he does it all) and willing to listen and adjust at all times.
Not only have I left feeling like my time there is going to be looked at as the start of a better life for me and my family rather than the “burden” or “failure” I originally thought; I have found a beautiful family and community from all walks of life that I will cherish forever.
Thanks again guys and keep changing lives!

I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at first about going to a treatment living facility. This was due to my own perceptions and stigma on being open with total strangers on my addiction. I didn't realize that a communal atmosphere is just what I needed to open up and take care of well being. I stayed for 6 months at the Haven House in Long Beach. They had so many resources for me getting my life back on the right track. I found a setting of other guys who had been through so much and were there to listen and to encourage my progress. I honestly felt like staying resort for rehabilitating everything about myself. We did yoga to help the mind and body. We had movie nights to laugh and think and engage in life conversations. The best part was the proximity to the beach. We had a lot of outings and picnics along the Long Beach Shore. I very much recommend this establishment if you wish to progress through addiction and leave all the more better for society.

| The Nexus Recovery Services center is located in Los Angeles, California. This facility offers multiple comprehensive recovery services to adults battling with drug and alcohol abuse and co-occurring disorders. Each service is focused on providing individualized care as it is a center that believes that no standardized drug treatment meets each per | Treatments Programs Payment Options | If you are like me, you have been tirelessly researching online or calling various sober living facilities - feeling heartbroken, lost, desperate, and confused - all while facing a decision which would directly impact the livelihood of a loved one. No pressure, right? My family member had just completed rehab outside of Los Angeles and needed a sober living facility with good and honest people to help them adjust back to real life. All I knew at this point in my search is what I wanted for them. I was looking for a sober living facility where they would have focus on the program, be given the direction and guidance of counselors with care, be introduced to meetings around LA, all leading up to the goal of steering them back to a healthy and positive life. The real (and scary) answer is these places are hard to come by. I unfortunately saw that first-hand. Now to get to why I NEEDED to write this review. Nexus. 5 letters that make up a word I want to shout from the rooftops with such profound gratitude. Yes, my family member chose to do the work, take it seriously, make it a priority in their life, but it is also about who you surround yourself with. Nexus gave my family member a community bringing people into our lives which have changed it for the better. Nexus gave my family member counseling which has opened them up to realizing their true potential without the need of drugs or alcohol they are just grateful to be walking in their shoes sober. And one of the most important attributes of Nexus you may ask? Those that run the program. Halim, Johnnie, Rob, and Dano. I will never forget the first night I talked to Halim. And I say talked as if it was only one time. We spoke at least 10 times and he was a savior. He picked my family member up from somewhere where they were drowning and brought them to the Playa house. I was in a different state and was powerless but Halim was there. How could I have been more fortunate? I am forever indebted to the people that work at the Playa house (house manager, supervisors, techs, case managers, drivers) and the program Nexus has brought to our lives. Nothing is more important to me then family, and Nexus gave me my family back.

I was stumbling around the barren wasteland of treatment centers desperate enough to buy the guise of empathetic adversaries stating they care for you promising water and nourishment only to be a mirage in the futile landscape (south Florida). So I showed up on a rainy day in Los Angeles and was greeted by great staff, met my therapist Melissa (amazing person and professional) and started group therapy. Delena, a group therapist at Nexus, is a god send and at this point I believe she might literally be an Earth Angel that brings light to all of the darkness that we think we believe when we get sober.I started to have hope for my future and felt like the impossible was now possible. Somewhere in the mix I met Kurt (another group therapist) I don t know what exactly he does or how he does it... but he changed my life because I was always seeking answers to questions unattainable or that others never had the capacity to answer... but the best way to talk about Kurt is to not talk about Kurt and let people experience spirituality on THEIR terms! All the staff is wonderful shout out to UA Nick.Big Jeff will help you with all of your outside stuff legal, work ect but also knows what he is talking about in recovery and in spirituality. Halim Daniel is the go to guy for pretty much anything. He holds his staff just as accountable as the clients.Lastly, I d recommend this place for anyone serious about recovery. The best testimony comes from clients and past members and what stands out to me is that a lot of past members are still sober or clean. We are all pretty close too. If you are fed up with the treatment industry I understand how you Feel. There is real solution and hope here and more than that to me is the amount of love

When my 19 year old son completed residential treatment I began the search for an outpatient program that could supplement his sober living. From the very first phone call to Nexus I knew we had found the right place. The initial contact was loving, warm, and encouraging which was exactly what I needed in those early days of his sobriety.Over the course of his seven months at Nexus those same traits from that first phone call grew and worked magic on my son. I can t know what happened daily or even weekly at Nexus, but I know the changes I saw in my son. The young man he was destined to be was awakened and nurtured by Nexus. They kept me informed along the way and I was able to participate in a wonderful family program weekend.Today my son is in college and living a productive life. We both credit Nexus for providing him the space, support, insight and love he needed to move into this next chapter. I am forever grateful to the staff at Nexus.

Sanctuary was the kindest I ve ever been treated as an addict. I ve had terrible experiences in rehab and they made me feel safe. The staff was always kind and I never felt judged for feeling the way I did. They didn t expect too much of me and let me ease into group therapy. I m forever grateful for that experience at one of the worst times of my life.

My experience at Alta was amazing. The staff was fantastic and there to help me through the process of change for my life. She was amazing to talk too and gave great suggestions.Miranda really was good with us too taking care of things and gave great advice when I needed it on some personal thigg no s I was dealing with.Chef Lee and Chef Teresa were both amazing! Chef Lee throughout the week made various amazing dishes(especially his tri-tip) and on the weekend Teresa made amazing home cooked Hispanic dishes like you are going home to your mothers. The case management team was just so good! My case manager was Jade and she did amazing at giving me challenges and things I knew I needed to work on. She found exercises and work for me to do that helped each specific on. The other case managers Max and Eden were fantastic as well even tho they weren t my assigned case managers they always checked on me and helped me with kindness in things I may have been dealing with and gave words of encouragement. A few other shoutouts to Jolyon, Roman, Shannon and Eric. Also they hired a new Tech when I got there Noami and she is a perfect fit was amazing and I am glad she got to start and I got to know her when I was there she was fun and very encouraging. The nurse Shantel was fun and super funny. Very phenomenal staff, welcomed me in with open arms, and greeted me with happy faces. The outings made it so easy to unplug and see life again for what it is. The therapists here are extremely engaged and so focused on teaching you things you never knew about yourself, and the keys to a life full of recovery. The groups daily are extremely valuable to recovery as well. I give it a 10/10 and towards the end was sad to leave. They also give you the option to go to the gym which is so awesome. I am so happy with the tools I gained from this place for my future. Eric, Shan, and everyone else (I forget names) were always so on the spot when I needed someone to talk to. I m so incredibly thankful

If you're LGBTQ+ and struggling with addiction, La Fuente Treatment Center should absolutely be the first place on your list that you consider. I will be forever grateful to La Fuente and its entire staff for helpingme withmy drug addiction + alcoholism. The clinical staff and therapists helped me to better understand theunderlying issues that led me to use and abuse substances. As a gay man, I wanted to find a treatment center where I could comfortably be myself without judgment -- a place where I'd be among others like me within the LGBTQ community. Shockingly, there are very few treatment centers in the country like this. First, the entire staff at La Fuente (who are also all LGBTQ+) are beyond amazing - kind, caring, insightful, helpful, patient, loving, supportive, and inspirational. They made me feel loved until I could learn to love myself again. Second, given that La Fuente only takes a maximum of 10 clients at a time (and it's usually under 10 clients while you're there), it makes for a much more intimate experience (unlike other treatment centers where you simply become a number). Third, La Fuente is very welcoming, clean and comfortable (I ended up having my own room for the majority of my stay). Honestly, it is such a magical and special place. I loved it so much that I stayed for a full 90 days because they made me feel safe and seen. Again, if you're LGBTQ and struggling and looking for help, start here! I'm close to 6 months sober today and feel like I finally have my life back and I owe it all to La Fuente, its program and their entire staff.

La Fuente is the magical place that provided a safe environment to begin my healing and recovery. Everyone from admissions to the therapists and techs went above and beyond to address all client s needs and meet us where we re at. It is important to note that the entire team is apart of the LGBTQIA+ community which shows just how dedicated they are to providing a connected, thoughtful approach to their program. I am grateful to say I have my life back because of my time there.

I have been to A LOT of treatment centers - good, bad, mediocre. It's not something I necessarily advertise as an accomplishment, but I do think it qualifies this review. Believe me when I say, Westwind is perhaps the best Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program I have every completed. It's well-organized, the groups are interactive, and the people truly care. When you've been in and out of treatment centers as much as I have, you get used to a tough-love ethos. You get used to being treated like a child, like you shouldn't have a say in your treatment plan, your aftercare goals, never-mind anything in-between. Practitioners subscribe to the same stigma you face on the outside. And while the fear of being patronized keeps you in line during your treatment, it doesn't arm you with the necessary tools to live self-sufficiently after discharge. At Westwind, I was treated like a person with the problem of addiction, not an addict. That's an important distinction, and it's hard to find. The staff have managed to foster a real sense of community among patients - also hard to find. Kiinicki, who single-handedly coordinates the night track program, made us all feel like we had something worthy to contribute. They knew each patient beyond just our names - they took an active interest in our lives and encouraged vulnerability. I am naturally guarded, perhaps because of my extensive treatment history, but Kiinicki made me feel comfortable enough to start opening up. They applauded my progress week over week. I felt seen for the first time in a long time.I didn't expect to get all that I did out of Westwind. I came in jaded, but between Kiinicki and my therapist, Maia, I didn't want to leave by the end. Both of these amazing, empathetic people helped me to see my potential. They listened to my opinions. They encouraged me to participate in my own recovery, and they tailored their approach to meet my needs. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for these two.If you have the privilege of attending Westwind's night track IOP program, Kiinicki WILL have your back. Maia's groups will have you thinking and acting differently. You'll continue to feel supported even after you leave. I cannot recommend Westwind enough (as long as Kiinicki and Maia are still there, holding down the fort!).

The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Los Angeles vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Los Angeles. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Los Angeles that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Los Angeles.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Los Angeles, with 82 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 79 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 60 drug rehabs.
Los Angeles has the 329th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed.
