Excellent facility, incredibly helpful staff and counselors who are understanding and not overbearing. Emily, Michael, and Ralph are particularly great counselors and all of the techs are fantastic at encouraging and supporting clients while fostering a loving community. It was my first time at treatment and I could not have asked for a better rehab facility. Good food, comfortable accommodations, very educational groups, and a good amount of free time as well. I highly recommend Avenues, I sincerely feel that they have given me an opportunity to get my life back.

I have been in treatment with STR since July of this summer. Being here has been so transformative to my recovery with amount of support receive. Every single person on staff provides a safe space for me every step of the way. When I am having a tough moment or in need of support, there is always someone who is available to help. I feel seen as an individual. The case manager, the therapists and the staff are all beside me every single day; they know “my story” and follow through always. Silver Pines saved my life. With the treatment I received I can honestly say I learned what I needed to stay sober. I’m still receiving treatment out patient at STR Bucks. Every thing I learned at Silver Pines is being reinforced in my continued treatment. I’ve been able to change the way I think. There’s so many steps to recovery and they teach them all. I'm from NYS and have been to several rehabs in PA . By far St. Joe's is the best. Offering a holistic approach to recovery with physical therapy , sound bath , swimming, tia chi and so much more. The clinical , RA, and nursing staff are all amazing, person centered and caring! They have a well put together humongous facility for freetime activities as well. Then after completion, its not over. They contact you with follow-up and if willing connect you with the best Alumni program and peer ran staff Melissa. Who could ask for anything more from rehab!!!

The disease of alcoholism took ahold, I was lost. I wanted to suppress my feelings of helplessness, grief, and pain. Lucky for me, a friend suggested Saint Joseph institute as an option. I came into Saint Joe’s scared, with shame and regret, and no vision for a future. I was ready to die and give into the disease to release the pain. Alcohol had a control over me and used every situation in my life to draw me closer to the end. I walked into Saint Joe’s lost but left a better version of myself. The Saint Joseph inpatient and online itensive outpatient program, Alumni system, and introduction of recovery groups have provided me with a path creating the best version of myself. Thanks to RAs, counselors, community, maintenance, cooks, and more; I learned how to reframe situations in my life and deal with emotions instead of running from them. I still feel regret, but no shame or fear, and I know I have a future. I developed tools, created supports, and most importantly reconnected with God! Lauren is a great counselor, and guided me during one on one and small group sessions. Lauren helped tremendously, but she was not the only one who provided crucial supports. Val and her morning waking up with a higher power and personal conversations, Angela with her personal chats and guidance contributed to my process. Along with all counselors who rotated in large group sessions. The people at Saint Joe’s don’t only care about people on their caseloads, but for all who truly seek help from a personalized program of recovery. The food was good, sleeping arrangement are fine, and other facilities are good. Are there frustrations, yes? Do things go wrong at times, yes? Do plans change at times, yes? But such is life that we are learning to deal with daily. If you are serious about recovery, the people you will have on your side here are the most important thing! They will help guide you to live a better life and deal with life on life’s terms. If you are honest and committed to the process, they can all help guide you from your darkest moments into a life of light! Thank you: Lauren (counselor), Mike (RA), Dave (RA), Val (counselor), Jade (RA), Angela (counselor), Dave (grounds), Bri (RA), Megan(counselor), Mike (IOP), Steph (IOP), and Melissa (alumni coordinator), and so many more. I am sorry if I didn’t remember everyone’s name, but from kitchen staff, RAs, counselors, they were willing to talk and support my progress. You are all a part of my heart and have been since I left as community leader. I continue to pass it forward to others. I still remember telling Lauren that this journal writing was not going to be for me. I have now written over 80 poems to help me in my personal recovery from this disease. I hope this one helps one of you: Life’s Tree My roots may be dirty under the ground. But it provides for the tree where fruit is now found. I will not let it rot and wither away. Sharing it with others tomorrow or today. The tree has purpose a determined intent. I will not be discouraged or let anything circumvent. The fruit I share can provide nourishment needed. My life has direction and is not yet completed. Using this dirt for its intention and design. The growth of my tree and providing vision to the blind. Only through him can I ultimately be found. Only by his unfailing grace am I unbound. Perfection not obtainable but progress is you see. This the story of my life’s glorious recovery tree. Using honesty, tools, supports, prayers, and the surrendering of me. This is how God, Saint Joe’s, and community have made me free.

There is no other place like it! Over 200 acres in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful walking trails including a beautiful chapel. U felt at peace the moment I got there. My counselor Lauren was incredible. Everyone I came across during my staff were friendly and helpful. No regrets I was there February 2024 and I’m still going strong! 😃❤️

You cant imagine the incredible experience at RCA. I was being weaned off valium (post AFIB) and needed to be monitored. But I went to most of the sessions with these healing addicted people. Seeing these people getting their green bracelet and the smiles and friendliness was life changing and responded to them with congratulations. These people are my heroes and the sessions were amazing. The "Serenity Prayer" has been a relationship lifesaver. I know people friends, who were RCA and they also think it a amazing. Everyone for Tony, the sweeper, to the food servers really care!. Thanks for reaching out. I have a prayer list of friends from RCA, I pray that list at 9 PM, your now on that list! Rca Devon was such a great experience. The staff is outstanding and I’ve build friendships with a great crew of men from there and we’re still all friends to this day. That was 3 years ago now. My entire experience with SilverMist, from the over the phone assessment, to the Company’s driver that picked me up from home, to the first Tech who greeted me and did my intake, all the subsequent techs, therapists, both my individual and other group therapists, the medical team including both nurses and doctors , groundskeepers, the housekeeper Tammy, Aaron, the chefs, Laura and Michelle, the BHT manager, Scott, the Executive Director, Ryan, and last but not least Pickles the official unofficial mascot of the grounds made my stay here the best experience in helping me on my journey of recovery. I can’t say enough good things about Avenues. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. The experience I had at Avenues Bucks was everything I knew I needed and even more I didn’t know I needed. The facility and programming, and especially the staff and clinical team is unwavering in their dedication to the process and clients. Bucks utilizes a combination of accountability and supervision, while allowing me the freedom I needed to create a life of recovery akin to what would be required of me outside of a program. I’m extremely grateful for this experience and program. It really has given me my life back and set me on a path to build a life I could have only imagined.

As the parent of a son in recovery from alcoholism, DreamLife Recovery’s Family Class has been incredibly helpful and eye-opening. I came into this program wanting to understand what I need to do going forward after my son leaves rehab, and I now feel much more hopeful and prepared. I attend Al-Anon regularly and have learned so much there, but this program is different. It has what I’ve learned two steps further. It has helped me better understand addiction, healthy family support, boundaries, and my own role in recovery. Most importantly, it is teaching me how to be a positive advocate for my son without getting tangled up in his issues or enabling unhealthy patterns. The family education and open discussion format create a supportive space to ask real-life questions and learn practical tools. I am grateful for the guidance, clarity, and hope this program has given me. I went to them on December 21, 2022 by the time I was able to get there that day I was going through withdrawal the team was wonderful before they even did the intake process they made sure that they got be properly medicated to help me so that I would be safe. They were wonderful explained everything made everything safe and helpful with my family during the time as it was difficult for us as it was so close to Christmas but at that time I know I needed the help and they were there to make sure I got it and I am now till this daily completely sober and clean

Coming to Banyan was most likely the best choice I could’ve ever made in terms of my treatment. The staff here are absolutely wonderful and they are very supportive to everyone here including myself. The therapist I was assigned as well, Dani, did everything in her power to help me as best as she could which means the world to me. Overall if I would have to come back to a treatment facility I would always choose Banyan.

The staff there truly cares about everyone who walks through the door. Countless rehabs have sent me home with only a weeks worth of medication for my mental health. This lead to relapses and self medicating. I let the staff at Huntington know my issue and they took it seriously. My counselor James understood my needs and sent me home with refills for my prescriptions allowing me time to find a primary care/ psychiatrist. If you want to be around love and people who care about you then this is your place. I watched these people come in daily and fight to save lives. They are hero’s not just staff.

I stayed here and I had a rough time, but only due to the fact I was homesick and anxious. The staff there got me through one of the worst times i’ve endured due to my withdrawal and they gave me meds that helped me so much. Mr brian, Mr. Gary, Mrs Michelle, and Mr brandon are amazing. Mrs Michelle is like a mom and she is so kind. Mr. James (Gritty) is the coolest counselor ever and by the second week I felt like a different person. They are so kind, and have been through some stuff themselves and you can learn a lot from them. Mrs Jenn, my counselor was a doll and she keeps it real with you. I had amazing talks with her and she even gave me a little strawberry that I can keep for ever. She constantly texted the second shift staff and asked if I was okay. The kids there are so funny I actually cannot. MRS DORTHYYY SHE IS THE BESTT I miss her!! If you are scared I promise you this place is the best option.

The Ranch was overall a great experience.... The property has great views, amazing sunsets and wild life, an amazing kitchen staff serving great food, clean rooms. Lots of activities like a rope course and archery, yoga, music, art, volleyball, basketball court, pickle ball, horseshoes, instruments to play and a pool table. A cool medicine wheel they take you to on walks. The staff was great and helpful for most part. Went there for mental health and the program was great! Loved learning the DBT Skills. Substance does the same program so it's not a traditional 12 step program. It helps that when you leave you leave with a community that understands what your going though.... just bring a blanket with you the ac really works in room!

Bradford recovery is just amazing. From the counselors. Medical staff. Bhas. The whole staff. The food is amazing. They care. It is clean. Beautiful scenery. I went in not knowing they were gonna change my life.. so glad I gave them that chance. Thanks to them I am 3 years clean and will never forget the kindness and support they gave me. I will always highly recommend Bradford Recovery Center to anyone needing help with their recovery.. I can't imagine there being a better place

My counselor at marworth was Kayla who was exceptional going above and beyond to meet my needs. Also Alana who does the discharge aftercare went out of her way completely just to help me find a place to go down South she spent hours of her time when there's a full house at marwars. I couldn't thank her enough. She's also very beautiful lol The nursing staff was generally great, and most were supportive and respectful. A couple could be a bit difficult at times, but overall, the team made a positive difference in my stay. Your fed very well. Staff is great all around. They also have a Shield program for firefighters, police, EMTs, and vets. You will get know Emil a councelor who is incredible. The best meetings I went to where in the Shiels meetings. A great place to go and get your life together and move on happily and sober! God Bless

I have been in recovery for 6.5 years. I went to Marworth for the first time in 2016 and should have listened and stayed. I ended going back in 2020 when I was ready to change and they helped me so much and inspired me to become a substance abuse counselor. If it was not for the staff and my peers, I met through my stay at Marworth idk if I would be here today. I highly recommend Marworth if you are truly ready to put the work in, for a comfortable detox and supportive road to recovery.
