I owe this place a big apology. I admit I manipulated a situation to fit my narrative without realizing how much harm my review has cost them ,their staff, and other recovering addict. Not only did I relapse after I ended up going to pyramid twice and didn't even bother to thank the directors of this place for giving me a 2nd opportunity to begin with. So since I'm in recovery now Im very greatful this place put me on the path to recovery and showed or taught me things about myself I never knew gave me an opportunity to become a better more self aware version of my self for that I'm grateful for places like this to keep their door open for addicts such as my self. If you feel this place did you wrong come that's due to addiction's perspective please I pray you get better and go again when the time is right and give a review when you are in a better more appropriate state of mind . I was selfish self centered and arrogant I no longer see from active addictions point of view . Please don't ruin this places reputation if it doesn't work for you because at least they keep the doors open to help anyone seeking recovery. This facility, as with all facilities of this nature, has its strengths and opportunities. However, what I would like to recognize a few staff members who went above and beyond for my treatment. Elliott (tech), was extremely patient and attentive to the clients needs on a daily basis and always had an amazing attitude. Justin (nursing) who did my intake, my discharge, was beyond helpful in some dificult situations, and very pleasant to work with. And my counselor, Rich, who showed extraordinary patience with me, attention to detail, always honest, and helped me gain a new perspective on, not just my recovery, but the way I look at my relationships and my goals for the future. There are other great staff members as well, but these 3 made a major positive impact on my stay. Thank you to Elliott, Justin, and Rich! In my opinion, this facility is not used to its full potential. However, my counselor Rich W. was excellent. I was able to take care of everything I needed on the outside and was able to get the help I needed as well. Rich was a joy to work with.

the childrens MENTAL HOSPITAL is honestly the best mental hospital ive been to out of all of them, i wont lie. I do have one big issue however, I disclosed something under the belief it would not be shared. I was not warned about mandatory reporting, and incorrect information was given to my parent. This is a very bad way of going about things, you guys dont know if someone’s parent is involved in that stuff, and if you are literally telling them what the child is saying, that can be a serious risk to the child. I’ve had more than my share of bad experiences with therapy, but the counselor here actually listend and helped my kids. Plus they were really flexible when I needed to change appointment times which happens a lot with me because of my work schedule. They also had telehealth appointments which made scheduling easier. Overall I’d recommend them

Only been here a couple times so far, but place seems decent. Staff are all friendly, and I like that they have cloud cloth's over the lights to make lighting more bearable. It is also close to home, which is nice.

My first time getting clean I stayed clean for 8 years. I relapsed and it was hard finding my way back. By being persistent in finding a rehab didn't take No for a answer; sought help from any and everybody I found my way back. Through Hogar Crea PA womens center I realized just putting the drug down didn't mean I was clean and sober I had to change everything about myself. Ahhhh yes, the school for the troubled youth.. it’s been many years since I’ve attended but it seems like yesterday.. you do school for a half a day and then sit in a circle and talk about problems.. I’ve met a lot of “interesting” people here and who knows where they are at these days.. the teachers and counselors here were fantastic and I wish them well, it must’ve been hard dealing with outcasts all day.. hope they have AC by now because that little building used to get hot.. Their technical program which included dark room film processing at the time helped spark my obession with photography and digital photo editing.

I have been coming to this location since the Mt.Pocono office was closed down. Ishima was my therapist at that site, and I make the drive to Allentown specifically to see her. In the three years I have been seeking treatment with Kidspeace, it's always been a positive experience. My reason for seeking treatment forced me to be very thorough in my looking into many different organizations and I can say I have made the right choice with Kidspeace.

I successfully completed my program last week. The 35 days I spent there have not only saved my life, I also now, for the first time in 43 years, LOVE myself. My counselor, Lisa, helped me put faith in myself, which I never experienced before. All the techs where awesome to me, I'd like to shout out Helen. Everyday she put a smile on and that smile is contagious, at the same time she genuinely cared everytime she asked myself, or anyone else how they where doing, that means a lot to so many of us, that were in those rooms. Pyramid saved my life and im forever grateful 🙏!! THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH!!!

I've been to better and been to worse. They provide a therapeutic environment that allows clients the opportunity to heal and grow. They feed you well, the coffee is real and usually strong (though limited to meal times,) the gym is better than most. There are ample smoke breaks and there are decent amenities. It's not the Ritz, but it's not supposed to be. They're definitely understaffed, but the team they currently have is full of dedicated and compassionate people which made all the difference in my stay and helped my find direction and hope. I'm very satisfied and grateful.🙏

Amazing staff that cares and are vested in your recovery. Without MRC I would never have been able to gain the tools necessary for my on going recovery program. 6 years sober here after running the methadone program for 2 years to get off of opiates and benzos. Shout out to vanja, dawn, julissa and the rest of the nursing staff for helping make recovery possible. Some people go to get sober. Some people go to maintain getting high in a safe way when doing the methadone program. To each their own. I personally made a goal and got off and never looked back! So thankful for this program. It saves my life.

This is my 2nd review. My 1st review was from 3 years ago when I first started at Northeast Family Healthcare. Since then I had to transfer because I moved and I thought that I would write another review to let people know that for 3 years the staff faithfully stayed true to their teachings and never once judged me or made me feel like a low piece of s@%! even when I relapsed. I never had to lie who I was and cheat my way thru the program to stay in the program. After being a client at Northeast Family Healthcare in Quakertown for 3 years, I can honestly say this clinic has been life-changing for me. Having to transfer due to my move to another County was one of the hardest parts about relocating.
What sets Northeast Family Healthcare apart is their incredible staff. Every person I encountered there treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine care. In recovery settings, being treated like a human being rather than just another case makes all the difference. i do want to base this review on my therapist.
I cannot emphasize enough how instrumental Anna was in my recovery journey. In my 20+ years in various treatment programs (since 1999), I've NEVER connected with a therapist the way I did with Anna from day one. For all three years, she was my rock and a consistent source of support.
What made Anna exceptional was her genuine approach to therapy. She truly listened - not just nodded along, but actually remembered details from our previous sessions. During my struggles and occasional relapses, she never once responded with anger, criticism, or disappointment. Instead, she helped me explore what happened, develop better coping strategies, and work through my underlying traumas.
Anna's sincerity and passion for helping others is evident in everything she does. She clearly loves her job, and that authentic care makes all the difference for clients like me. I can confidently say that without her guidance, I wouldn't be clean today. Anna, I am going to miss you so much. You clearly were a gift from God. Thankyou for being you and accepting me for me. i had so much fun in our weekly Zoom meetings. I am clean today with the help from you and never giving up on me. Please keep in touch and if you ever find another job please keep my contact info and let me know. (This is a prime example of why stable treatment is a must and consistently having the same therapist instead of always getting a new therapist assigned to you.)
For anyone seeking treatment at Northeast Family Healthcare (1040 S West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951), whether for methadone or Suboxone treatment, know that you'll be in compassionate, capable hands. The entire team creates an environment where healing feels possible, even when you've struggled for decades like I had.
I will deeply miss this facility and the incredible people who work there, especially Anna. They've set the standard for what quality, compassionate addiction treatment should look like.
