The staff here is absolutely amazing. I can’t even make a single complaint. Dr Son is the best as well. He explains everything and you truly feel like he understands you. I can proudly say this, this place saved my life. If you or someone you know needs help getting off opiates do it right the first time and come here. You won’t be disappointed. If you are specifically struggling with fentanyl please don’t waste your time with other ways. I have tried 6 other methods from lazer therapy to having the earpiece to suboxone. I seriously had doubts that it would be of any help. Years ago methadone wasnt covered easily by insurance... But they made my day when they told me yep they take my insurance which is through marketplace. AND I would not have to pay anything out of pocket!! I was singing and dancing. Been here ever since. Even when I messed up and missed open enrollment, they still worked with me without insurance... i was so worried but everyone reassured me that they would find a way to help me here and they did. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version. The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects. For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! I came in drowning in booze, broken from childhood abuse, combat PTSD, and straight rage. They gave me the tools to start building something solid out of all that wreckage. Biggest lesson for me was Ego. I thought I had one, maybe two. Nah, I had a fleet of them! All those past traumas twisting up and firing off as anger. Warriors Heart helped me see it, strip it down, and start putting in the real work. Most of the staff are real ones, and they show up every day with wisdom, patience, and love. It wasnt a magic fix. BEST PLACE EVER. I have tried various other doctors/clinics and none of them even begin to compare to this one. The staff here is absolutely amazing. I can’t even make a single complaint. Dr Son is the best as well. He explains everything and you truly feel like he understands you. I can proudly say this, this place saved my life. If you or someone you know needs help getting off opiates do it right the first time and come here. You won’t be disappointed. If you are specifically struggling with fentanyl please don’t waste your time with other ways. I have tried 6 other methods from lazer therapy to having the earpiece to suboxone. Methadone is the key to our current fentanyl crisis. This clinic makes recovery possible again!

I had the most amazing experience of my life! WWR saved my life in many ways. I tackled multiple addictions and took advantage of every service they offer (which there are many!). The counselors and recovery advocates are incredible. While I now have the tools to go back to the real world, I will miss this place in my soul. I would recommend WWR to anyone needing to face addiction or any other mental challenge.

Words could never express my appreciation for the team at La Hacienda. The buildings are older than I expected, but the love and treatment there is state of the art. The time spent there will put you or your love one on the right track to the life you are seeking. The family program is not easy, but plays a huge role in success. I use to go to denton clinic last year and even years ago and I was honestly struggling very hard to keep up with payments and Im not here to bash... I blame myself for not communicating better. At the time I was forced to leave my denton home and stay with family in the colony and had to drive every day Mon thru Fri to denton. I finally tried looking for some place closer and thank the Lord He led me here. I called and they asked about insurance which I gave all my info about. I seriously had doubts that it would be of any help. Years ago methadone wasnt covered easily by insurance... But they made my day when they told me yep they take my insurance which is through marketplace. AND I would not have to pay anything out of pocket!! I was singing and dancing. Been here ever since. Even when I messed up and missed open enrollment, they still worked with me without insurance... i was so worried but everyone reassured me that they would find a way to help me here and they did. Everyone is SO NICE also. Love it here.

The office manager helped me find a location where I could get my dose since I missed it on Saturday and I was so grateful for him to reach out because I finally got my dose I needed Because THEY CARE! My wife and I are grateful for the program here at The Orchard on the Brazos. The team there has shown that a program uniquely designed to treat addiction while maintaining dignity is the best way to achieve and maintain sobriety. Additionally, their family programs are second to none. We attended a weekend event that was incredibly helpful to us. And, my wife and I have been attending their weekly family zoom meeting for 16 months. Not coincidentally, our loved one is 16 months sober. This meeting, run by Fallon has been instrumental in our own recovery. Fallon provides a very safe space to discuss various topics pertinent to family recover. Unfortunately, we have had two experiences with the Orchard with two of our adult children. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version. The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects. For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. Let me also say this is not a miracle place, our kids have work that they need to do. As a Dad, I would encourage you to fully check out the facilities, programs and staff. We have been very blessed with our experiences.

I completed a full stay at the lighthouse sober living as well as went through their PHP, IOP, and SOP programs they offer. Lighthouse didn’t just get me back on my feet, but they laid the necessary tools to live a happy, sober, and independent life in front of me and showed me in depth how to use each and every one of them. Navigating this past year with my child in recovery was incredibly challenging, especially with him being 12 hours away from home. From the very beginning, the team at Lighthouse Recovery made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I could tell that they truly cared for my child, not just as a client, but as a person. Bryce, my son’s case manager, was always timely and compassionate in his communication, answering my questions and keeping me updated. Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! Nova is far from perfect, and some of the information can be misleading. But if you want to dive deep into the 12 Steps while enjoying good food and a beautiful scenic view, this is the place for you. The staff is great — the RAs and techs are friendly and genuinely care. The woman who runs it, however, can be unreasonable and enforces some silly rules (like not being allowed to save your food for later — insanity), but fortunately, she’s not around much. Jeff and Korn are the ones who really run the show. They have a ton of recovery experience and are both awesome guys who truly care. Jeff changed my life and helped save my marriage, so the place gets five stars from me for that reason alone. Thank you to Jeff, Korn, Cassandra, Jen, Leon Phelps, Aaron, and the rest of the staff!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Warriors Heart in Bandera, TX was the safest spot I could’ve landed when my life was burning down. I came in drowning in booze, broken from childhood abuse, combat PTSD, and straight rage. They gave me the tools to start building something solid out of all that wreckage. Biggest lesson for me was Ego. I thought I had one, maybe two. Nah, I had a fleet of them! All those past traumas twisting up and firing off as anger. Warriors Heart helped me see it, strip it down, and start putting in the real work. Most of the staff are real ones, and they show up every day with wisdom, patience, and love. It wasnt a magic fix. But it’s where the construction starts, new foundations can be started, and for me, that made all the difference. 🙏

This place was a huge game changer for my husband. He was really struggling with alcoholism when he arrived. Everyone was kind, honest, and patient. He stayed the whole 90 days and still wasn’t ready to leave, he loved it so much. He found peace in himself here. We were recommended to Touchstone by a friend and we tell everyone who asks about Touchstone what a difference it made for my husband. He had attended other rehabs in the past but no where else made a difference. Touchstone will not only change the life of the addict but the life of those that love them as well.

HSR partners with the client on a journey whether it is for mental health, trauma or addictive patterns. Just because someone goes to treatment does not mean they are ready for it. We are often there at our lowest moments and unhealthy. There is agency on the client to embrace their own journey. What I like the most about the HSR curriculum is that it is diverse. They are not endoctrinated to one model as one model does not fit all. They introduce you to many tools so we can pick the ones that serve each of us. We also know that if a tool stops working for us, there are others out there. Recovery is a journey. Not a destination.

When I referred one of my clients to treatment, he replied, “I’ve sent my wife to these places before. They take my money and do nothing, but I get to tell my friends I tried. She needs healing, not this.” I understand where he’s coming from as I’ve read similar stories in the media. HOWEVER, those experiences are the exact OPPOSITE of the care given at Healing Springs Ranch. I’ve had the joy and honor of getting to know Rachel and Melissa the last two years. I’ve heard how they talk about the business after hours and I've seen the work they put in to make HSR amazing. They are creative in their programming, dedicated to their clients, and committed to doing the right thing. You’re not there to play on your phone and do your own thing. This ain’t Celebrity Rehab. Their program goes beyond the addiction and drills down to the trauma that caused the addiction. When that trauma is explored, understood, and healed, a new, healthy lifestyle begins. It’s amazing (and hard not to cry) when you see a family member hug these two women and says, “You gave me my son back”. If your family is ready, Healing Springs Ranch is your greatest hope.

They would not approve my Zepbound shot for 3 weeks so I gained 40 pounds in 41 days. I went from 200 pounds when I went in to 240 pounds when I was finally able to check after I left. They have a habit of taking forever and dragging their feet when it comes to approving anything medically necessary outside of their prescribed regimen. But, that's really my main complaint with the facility. Otherwise, the staff and community is very nice.
