Symetria Recovery saved my life!! I was driving down the highway suffering major withdraw from opioid addiction. I found Symetria Recovery and they had me in the very next day. When I got tested, I was positive for Fentanyl, which had to of come from something off the street. I nearly had a panic attack thinking about my life ending, leaving behind my wife and 3 beautiful children. I've been here for about 18 months clean and sober and have never been happier. I am a born pessimist, so I spent a great deal of time looking into this place. First, I found nothing negative whatsoever, Secondly, I spent 60 days here and cried leaving. This place and ALL of it's staff saved my life. I can remember spending countless times in the nurses station, at the wellness advocates desk, and even in the Blanco hall, talking to the different staff about my days, my problems, my achievements, etc. And EVERY SINGLE PERSON TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN AND HELP OR CHEER ME ON!! There's not a staff member in this place that doesn't care about each person. The therapy sessions are incredible and I can't thank them enough for showing me I wasn't hopeless and giving me all the tools I need to have a beautiful, healthy and sober life. I am 45 years old, and I never thought this was possible.

After finishing treatment at Windmill Wellness Ranch I was confident in my ability to continue treatment for my Substance Abuse and Mental Health issues from home. The staff are awesome and very appreciated for all that they do this place is dog friendly and Leo loved it here!!

Windmill Wellness Ranch has truly changed my life in ways I never expected. I ve been to multiple treatment facilities over the last decade and felt that I was mentally, physically and spiritually hopeless. I felt I was a lost cause. I have had experience with 12 step programs before and assumed this experience would be like the others. I was wrong. Windmill Wellness Ranch and the staff they employ offer so much more than just a place to get sober and try twelve steps. From the admissions personnel to the wellness advocates, the therapists and the recovery coaches, I ve never met a team of people so willing to bend over backwards to help me reach my personal goals. Through WWR I was able to process a great deal of trauma successfully, while at the same time gain some phenomenal insight on how to grow in a life centered around permanent sobriety. The employees genuinely care about people and most are in recovery themselves. My time at Windmill Wellness Ranch has truly made a permanent positive impact in my life and in the lives of the people I love.

Kemah Palms Recovery has saved my life! All of the staff was amazing! I d like to give a special shout out to Paul. He put his sweat and tears into this recovery program. Going as far as providing sober living, alumni meetings twice a week, a specialty class at 3 every Monday-Friday, PHP, IOP, the list goes on! I can never thank yall enough for giving me the tools to turn my life around.

The care I received was god tier and the food was excellent. I was recovered by 30 days and the aftercare is amazing. They really do care about their patients and treat them with the utmost hospitality. Overall I had the most incredible experience and practically did not want to leave! My experience with Brittany, an addiction specialist with La Hacienda, occurred by chance. I was given her name as a person that "knew the ins and outs of Texas rehab centers". I finally called her when a different rehab center said they were out of network, but then still recommend La Hacienda and contacting Brittany as a first choice.I was in the position of trying to help my friend recover from a severe addiction. I'd been trying to be effective in my attempts for 2 yrs. I had compromised my rules and boundaries to allow for communication with my friend. I was depressed & overwhelmed with the process. I felt an extreme obligation to make this work at any cost. I further felt failure because I am a physician myself. This is what I am supposed to be capable of doing. This is the state of mind I was in when Brittany answered my phone call.Brittany is a well-organized open book. She weaves her own journey with her extensive knowledge of how addiction works. This made her a welcomed voice of both reason and structure to a rapidly deteriorating situation.We called my friend together. I was worried my friend would simply decline to talk to her or become angry about a percieved ambush. This was his initial reaction. He attempted to end the conversation almost immediately. Brittany used empathy, humor, and an explanation of what the call was truly about - to ask my friend how he was doing allowing for a connection to be made between them. She successfully kept my friend on the phone for over an hour. She had him laughing. I have 15 years of experience being a physician, and I was beyond impressed at Brittany's ability to maintain approachibility while talking about issues that would usually shut my friend down. She bypassed egos, she bypassed the fear of judgement, and the fear of being confronted. I truly felt I was on the phone with the person that would give my friend the best chance at recovery. I now know that feeling occurred because I was on the phone with that person.Brittany also helped me. She helped me realize the limitations of my voice due to my position as a friend. She helped me communicate with my friend's family. She was on the call when my friend's family was introduced to the reality of a situation that had gone unacknowledged for too long. Any acknowledgement they had given the situation resulted in denial of its severity and attempts to correct a complex disease such as addiction with quick, ineffective solutions. I do not blame them. Reality can be devastating.Brittany is an example of how healthcare is supposed to operate - insightful vast knowledge and experience delievered with a compassionate honesty that allows each person involved to be heard.Brittany remained in active contact with me throughout the process. She lent a sympathetic ear to my concerns. I assumed she would not want to hear a story she has likely heard too many times. I was wrong. Every call was met with advice, pointing out incorrect thoughts of self-blame, and an optimism that I could no longer provide.I consider Brittany a friend now. It would be hard not to as she has spoken to my friend and myself with a depth of emotional intelligence and realness that went beyond her responsibilities.Unfortunately, this process can be an extensively exhausting and negative experience.Fortunately, people like Brittany actually exist. I am so thankful for her. I love knowing she is out there helping others.The physician side of me viewed Brittany as an emotionally intelligent, invested, passionate individual that any healthcare provider would consider a central asset to the success of the treatment plan.As this is a Google review, I will attempt to end with a more succinct statement:Brittany saves lives.Brittany gives hope and has the skills to achieve success. I thought my friend was gone. I will forever be thankful and consider myself lucky to have connected with Brittany.Without a doubt, I highly recommend contacting her. It does not matter what stage you or your loved one is in - her addition to the process is invaluable.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family!Sincerely,Dustin

I really needed some accountability and to be around other sober people after a relapse on alcohol in August. I signed up for the online IOP service and my counselor was Jasmine. She was amazing. I found myself looking forward to group everyday and felt a great relief of wanting to use after group. It helped me stay sober and maintain abstinence from alcohol I am truly grateful for the program. Jasmine is amazing and I consider her a good friend at this point she was able to talk me out of using my stinking thinking a lot of times and evaluate my situations from another perspective, which helped me get away from the parts of me that contribute to relapse.

Amazing clinic and all the people who work here truly care about you and your well being. I was receiving treatment at another clinic in California and I recieve plenty of blood work never received my results or was briefed on the condition of my health. Here I received blood work when I was admitted and that same week I was handed my blood work and they addressed that I was anemic which I didn't even know! If you do your research like I had you will come to find that symetria isn't just the best out patient addiction treatment there is but that college station is their best location on top of it.

The people here go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. This place is awesome I wouldn't go anywheres else

My 24 year old son completed the entire program at the IAR facility in Houston, twice. I considered both stays very successful; my son's improvement has been remarkable. The staff was great about communicating to me. I would particularly like to commend Cory McCork, who constantly reached out to my son to make sure he was OK during his relapses. Cory answered the phone at some pretty unusual times when I needed help or advice. He has a lot of experience and very good judgement.

Hitting my sobriety year mark so I finally feel comfortable leaving a review. I am so grateful I went to IARC and listened to the program they implemented. Cory as everyone has said is great with following up. The only 2 things negative were the lack of female sponsors available. Although I understand statistically there are less women in recovery, it was still something I did not have. I m glad I went and got my own as soon as I got back home. I know that at the end of the day it is still a for profit center but maaaan do they push sober living. Most of us were adults that had to go back to their kids, so it wasn t an option and we were often made to feel like we would relapse without going into sober living. Ive beaten the odds on that so far. My favorite things were the counselors like Ms D and Richard s morning readings. Ms D if you are still there I want you to know I still quote your little nuggets of wisdom and I miss the sound of your angel voice. Oh I m so grateful I had the option to utilize the gym! The food will get you fat as f&@k so try to stay active. In the end You either want recovery or you don t. I know I couldn t have gotten sober on my own. I believe 1000% that IARC helped show me the way. So if you re looking at reviews debating I am telling you right now don t wait. Let this be the one that makes you pick up the phone and get help.

Into action recovery changed my life especially after I came back home to New Mexico. I still have a staff member Corey McCormick who reaches out to see how my recovery is going. Makes me still feel part of the community out there ! And reminds me of my experience strength and hope I gained from my time out there !! 10/10 would recommend for anyone struggling and looking for a solution!

Wonderful experience, I am grateful! My provider really was there for me. She made me feel like i was her only patient. Even when no words were spoken, she understood me. Very patient, while helping me with grief after loosing my baby boy!

Dr. Milad is truly one of a kind. She listens with such genuine attentiveness and care, making each appointment feel personal and unrushed. What I appreciate most is that she remembers everything I share from previous visits without needing to constantly refer to notes she s fully present and focused on me as a patient. My wife and I just recently graduated DPR the place saved our lives and marriage I watched my wife not only gain recovery but help other clients in their recovery as well. But there is one thing that desperately needs to change and that s Mr William Langley the facility manager. He is a cancer to clients recovery in DPR he needs to be removed from staff before he destroys the very program that saved my family he is very disrespectful lies and is only about insurance money and it pains me to see that new clients won t get the same opportunity that we had the relapses are up the ACAs are up and he should be banded from all DPR property and I can promise you will see a growth in recovery but as long as he remains I wouldn t recommend anyone going to this program until he is removed immediately and this is coming from a leader within and out here if this program a walking testament that the program works but as long as Mr Langley is around all clients are doomed! I will go to wherever and whoever to expose him because people need this program and he simply won t test until they fail

The whole experience at the SpringBoard center has been positive.From the intake interview where they understood exactly what I was going through mentally, emotionally and physically. To providing transportation to the facility to start my recovery treatment. Counseling, therapist as well as individual sessions were what made all the difference in my recovery. I always felt that my needs were met at all aspects of recovery.Kitchen staff, janitorial kept the facility in top noch condition. Everyone who has asked me how I am doing in my journey of recovery, I tell them, " it wouldn't have been possible without The SpringBoard Center ."I will continue to recommend the SpringBoard center to anyone seeking to end a cycle of addiction.

I just have to boast about Danny with A Better Boat Transportation. He s the angel that came all the way to my house +4 hours away to get me to Ripple Ranch. Danny is nothing short of phenomenal. He made my ride to Ripple Ranch Recovery so extremely comfortable and pleasant. He definitely eased my anxiety. Danny s communication skills are very spot on and he made me feel very comfortable. Danny is a very safe and alert driver. He was very easy to relate to and I truly appreciate him. He s a bright light in this world and a true gem. I d recommend A Better Boat Transportation to anybody! I m currently about two and a half hours from Ripple Ranch and I absolutely can not wait to get to my fresh start . I ll be sure to come back and update this review once I m done at Ripple Ranch!

There's one place on earth that I'm sincerely and honestly grateful for and that's Ripple Ranch. Coming from a man who abused drugs for over 40 yrs and I'm only 56 suddenly got tired of all the things that were slowly tearing me apart and killing me physically from my appearance to my health and seeing the scary man I was becoming made me run to God and ask for forgiveness and to truly save me cause I do want to live and wanted me family and real friend's back but most of all serve my purpose here on earth doing his will and that's when God prepared a place for me beginning at Ripple Ranch and thru that opportunity I have begun to gain access to all the important factors in life I was mistreating and taking for granted. After graduating with God leading me throughout all my days, I can genuinely say that this place cares for each and every individual that arrives for help and change and the awesome techs that work there wholeheartedly somehow pour a little extra concern into those who second guess or have hidden reservations that arise throughout there stay, and with the community (all the clients present) makes a bigger difference showing all the daily love they have for one another is just the reason that kept me involved and willing to be part of the solution and escape the real problem and for that I appreciate Ripple Ranch for giving me the chance and help me become the sober man I am today and I give all glory to God.

If you want a way out of that hell hole called addiction this is the place to go. This place has literally saved my life. The staff here are so caring and understanding of addiction because most of them are in recovery as well. I gotta say Nay is my favorite though. HSR has one of the most thorough approaches to address Addiction, Mental Health and Trauma that I have ever seen or been apart of. For years, I bounced around between impatient and residential treatment centers to manage my mental health needs. Healing Springs actually helped me pull back the layers of a lifetime full of trauma and abuse to see how certain patterns and behaviors had formed out of SURVIVAL. My 60 days at the Ranch were so eye opening and completely transformative; looking back, it was the life-saving re-set I needed on this complex healing journey. HSR gave me the tools, language and understanding on how to radically approach my healing and grief journey. 2.5 years post discharge and I'm still diving deep into trauma therapy and using the tools and understanding I gained at Healing Springs on a daily bases...... AND, I actually joined the staff here at HSR full-time 7 months ago! To work along side the same therapists and staff that saw me through my time here is indescribable. To share space in both worlds as a peer support and professional is an honor I'll never take lightly. Sharing my journey of hope with those who are sitting in the thick of their process brings a special connection and empathy. In the realm of residential treatment aka: rehabilitation. Nothing else compares to Healing Springs Ranch (herein called HSR). Your life is so fragile, don t sell yourself short, get your life back, I did. This is the place to go if you want help finally getting it done and/or if you re wanting to be healed. It works if you work at it. Also, I can attest to the entire facility including all the staff and the Licensed Professional Therapists (LPCs). As for the staff and most of the LPCs, they are there as recovered alcoholics and/or addicts themselves. They love helping every client every day, they understand what s going on in your head and can truly help you because they have been there too. The Staff has complete empathy for you, and because of the staff, HSR is not like the typical 30-day rehab. It s part of the staff s healing process to carry the message forward and share the lessons they ve learned with fellow alcoholics, addicts and those struggling with mental health and process addictions.I have been to several 30-day residential treatment facilities over the last 5-years, and I kept relapsing. And then I went to HSR with their 45-day Cognitive Therapy Program. Speaking of Cognitive Therapy, HSR has a Boatload of (LPCs) who are continuously there to help you understand what s causing you to drink and/or use drugs, for that matter anyone who is having to deal with Process Behavioral Issues. They help you get to the bottom of the WHY you re drinking and/or using, plus they have an on-staff Psychiatrist, Nurses & Dietician to help you physically and therapeutically heal both mind & body. It s a different type of facility that works if you complete and graduate from their 45-day program.Examples of Process Behavioral Issues could be anything such as codependency, depression, self-harm or self-sabotaging behaviors, suicidal ideations, frequent interrupting of others, excessive talking, ignoring instructions, outbursts of anger, physical aggression, spousal abuse and defiance towards authority figures, procrastination, social withdrawal, and difficulty regulating emotions.It's been working wonders for me and my fellow Alums who have Completed and Graduated from their program.

This place has been a life changing blessing. Recovery your way is absolutely beautiful. The staff, owners and just everyone there are truly an inspiration to anyone needing to find their way back from hard times. I will forever be grateful for the time and opportunities that my higher power allowed me to be blessed with at Touchstone. To Debbie and Nathan along with the rest of the staff y'all are AWESOME!!

This place was a huge game changer for my husband. He was really struggling with alcoholism when he arrived. Everyone was kind, honest, and patient. He stayed the whole 90 days and still wasn t ready to leave, he loved it so much. He found peace in himself here. We were recommended to Touchstone by a friend and we tell everyone who asks about Touchstone what a difference it made for my husband. He had attended other rehabs in the past but no where else made a difference. Touchstone will not only change the life of the addict but the life of those that love them as well.

I went to Great Oaks (affectionately known as GORC) in late December of 2024. For the thirty days I was there I was surrounded by the greatest group of support, education, and therapy. Its been several months and I wouldnt be in the very capable and strong place that I am now without the experience I had. I would recommend GORC to anyone who is struggling with substance abuse and the underlying reasons why.

Great Oaks gave me a safe place to aquire the tools I needed to create a firm foundation for my sobriety and a new way of life. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I would be set on the right path. I recommend Great Oaks to anyone needing additional help to get sober.
