I truly loved this place. During my time here, I struggled a lot the first couple weeks, and that was intentional on the programs part. It’s not supposed to be easy and you can adjust to the difficult aspects by truly letting go of wanting to control and accepting why you came to get help. I grew more here in a month than I ever could have in the real world. I loved the staff, the doctors, the clinicians, the nurses, and my housemates. I never thought I’d say this but I actually miss being here! The forced structure was comforting and having small responsibilities daily helped me stay accountable. I miss making my bed after breakfast and tending to my little plant. I miss racing to the kitchen after group before 9 am hit so I could have one last cup of coffee. I miss that. I miss making things special as opposed to just having carte Blanche to drink caffeine whenever I want now, it takes the meaning out of the actions we choose when we live with no rules or structure. The content of learning was helpful, and yes at times repetitious, but that’s how we change. Changing isn’t learning something then doing it perfect the next day. It is tedious amounts of reps and time that add up to meaningful change, it’s not glamorous like the world makes change seem. This program is HARD. And that’s what I wanted. I wanted challenge, I wanted growth, and I was sick and tired of being tired. This time in my life I decided I wasn’t the expert on how to do things considering how badly things were going. Please know that if it’s hard or you think it should be your way, it’s okay to let go and let them be the experts in their field. I am forever changed from this place, and I hope you will be too. And I am better for it because of this place, the friendships and love from staff alike.❤️

Wellbrook Recovery was an amazing place for me to truly understand my substance abuse behaviors and how they were connected to my mental health. Their dual diagnosis therapy helped me work through issues I didn’t even realize were fueling my addiction. Wellbrook is the most incredible place you could ever imagine. I was in the absolute darkest time of my life. I didn’t want to live and thought that I was destined to die from my disease. Wellbrook and their incredible staff helped me learn to love myself again. That I am worth it and that I am seen. I’m on my 3rd day of Week Two in IOP. I’m a Severe Chronic Relapser since 2017, For Decades (I’m 55) I’ve been firmly against this IOP program because it’s not Geavily Faith based.Hmmmm Dead Wrong on me. No one ever said that it would be a picnic, or luxurious. The staff helps you to be as comfortable as you possibly can, while going through such a change. The staff knows what they're doing and they do it with empathy and respect. I never felt judged by the staff. I give 5 stars and a big THANK YOU Stella Maris.

I came here all the way from New York, as I’m originally from Youngstown and needed to get away from my surroundings for a bit and have a hard reset. Left treatment today and had a really nice experience here. The staff is super friendly and nice and have a lot of experience with addiction and treatment. As well, the counselors were all great and the groups were helpful. Don’t come here if you expect to go on vacation or are simply in need of housing and are looking for a day spa that has a medical cabinet. Groups and H & I are a collective seven hours a day (morning, break, afternoon, break, evening) and attendance is expected. All things said, made some friends, got about as sober as anyone could get in a month, and learned that I’m still apparently really very terrible at basketball. Would recommend. Lastly - All my brothers.

The Staff at First Step Recovery are phenomenal. I've been in First Steps programs since Oct. Of 2024, and at each level of care I've had the best treatment from staff. I was in patient from detox to phase 1, and from there to IOP and beyond. And at each level I've come to care for the staff more and more, because they cared. And I'm stronger in my recovery more and more every day because of them.

My son came here seve- ral times and said that he was treated with compassion, care, and respect both times. He would not go anywhere else and said that it was a great program.

When I was looking to leave treatment I knew I still needed structure in my life so I contacted the House of Hope for their Recovery Residence Program. They have been amazing after I moved in they helped me find a new job, when I found out that it would be remote they set me up for success in the house. Their structure has help keep me sober.

RVC is an amazing place with amazing staff I can honestly say they changed my life. The facility is old and needs a lot of work but other than that I would recommend going there.

Would highly recommend above anywhere else in Columbus. The programming and facilitators are excellent.

This place saved my life. I went there straight from detox and I was home!!! I stayed sober clean and I'm hoping to get a job there I filled out an application? A awesome person I met Melissa Johnston she currently works there she was a client there when I was!! I will never forget the food I got to eat it was amazing!!! The staff was so caring and engaged!! I was treated for hep c while I was there to!!! A nice room with a shower in it!!!!! A personal trainer so we got to work out!!!! The kitchen was opened all night which I thought was great!!! I love paula, sister T, Sara, Courtney my counselor while I was there! Jeremy are gym teacher, all the staff marva!!!!! Ann love you 💕

Proven Treatments to Help. If you say it doesn’t help in any way, you’re lying and that’s between you and God! They serve all required meals plus more at times. Nice rooms. My experience is the patients treat the workers terribly sometimes. I don’t like that at all. Patient acts like they the president or the universe. Patients think workers should serve them like KIngs and queens. Most pay no money for services. Probably tax payers money, yikes. Stay Humble. God Bless.

The staff genuinely cares because most are recovering addicts themselves. They will go the extra mile to accommodate and make sure you are comfortable. If I would have know how easy it was I'd have came along time ago and saved my family and myself endless amounts of grief. I felt forgiveness immediately. Everyone is so kind, approachable, and well organized. I made an appointment just before the office opened on a Friday. I was in terrible withdrawal pain. Bright View's nurses and staff courteously excorted me to comfort. The intake took about 6 hours, then I was dosed. I'm glad I chose to go here. Group therapy is amazing and insightful. Transportation provided. Very little is not provided. Weekly prescriptions to begin with. The hotline is available at all times. I have been with Bright View since September 2023. Addiction is treatable and this clinic works well with me to try to solve my problems. They're going as far as they can to change individual drug habits and doing a great job.

I was recently released from incarceration and I was without a prescription for not only my methadone, but for my anti depressants. All of the staff was so beyond kind and nurturing when i was feeling my worst. Every staff member i’ve interacted with has introduced themselves and told me if i ever need anything to get on my feet, or need help before my next appointment to always call and they’ll make time for me. They are so much more than addiction treatment. The doctor gave me a temporary prescription for my antidepressants while i find a doctor so i wouldn’t be without (that helped me not be suicidal for the next month) and they also helped me to get my insurance set up. These people care. Even the patients i’ve met here have been so kind. And if you’re a woman or lgbtqia+ you’ll love Faith the receptionist. Her style and she checked on me to make sure i felt safe when an older man was chatting with me :) (I was fine, he was awesome actually!) Above all, judgment doesn’t seem to exist here. They’ve helped me get on my feet and make me feel like i have a 2nd home in a matter of 3 appointments. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

This place has the friendliest staff ever!! They welcome just about anyone. The ppl at the front desk, the nurses and doctors are always a pleasure to interact with, they remain professional and respect the clients. Also Sean Smith is the best counselor I've had personally in my 8+ years of being involed with places of this nature! He does the most.A great place to go if you want to get better!!! Don't think about it.. all you have to do is show up.. then the hard part is over

It's been a good place over the few months I have been there all except there is a nurse in the window that treated me straight like garbage this morning and left me sitting at the window knowing that I have to ride the bus and have other stuff to do but today I lost my step brother to a overdose and dealing with this nurse this morning could have caused me to relapse but I made it through the day every body else is nice there except the nurse I had to deal with today even caused me to miss my counselor appointment

Ive been going to Brightview for over 4 years.It has made me able to achieve sobriety and has saved my life, and made me feel like I am worthy.

Been going there for 3 years and I have had a great experience and still sober. My counselor is the best a lot more good staff. I would recommend this place for any addict to get sober they don't judge you they just there to help .

Brightview in Wilmington, Ohio has truly been a lifesaver for me. The staff there is truly compassionate and caring. I was an emotional mess when I first stopped there. I didn’t even have an appointment, but I knew I had to get help right away. I’ll be forever grateful to the nurse, Linda, who came to my aid. She welcomed me and my tears with open arms. All of the other staff are truly amazing as well. My Dr. Don truly has a heart of gold and my counselor Lisa is Heaven Sent! I’ve never felt judged or uncomfortable in any way. Everyone that works there is amazing! My thanks goes out to Paula, Lola, Amanda and ALL the staff that have been there to help me through the struggles life has thrown at me this last year. Great people, very friendly and kind. They really take the time to listen to you to try to help give you the right advice and treatments. From the front desk all the way to the back rooms the nurse practitioners everybody I seen and talk to that were there were amazing people. Very patient and understanding that’s what most of us need right now, so if you need a place to go to help you whether it’s anxiety, severe depression etc. they give you hope and they help. If I can give them 10 stars, I would. My best friend Dawn recommended me. And I am so grateful so now I want to pay it forward recommend it to anybody that needs it don’t be ashamed. They don’t make you feel like you’re not human. A lot of place do that they treat you like you’re not humans. I’m sick of getting treated like that. So if you wanna place that does not Judge very kind and nice and patient and actually help you. I would make an appointment ASAP❤️

There are people here who care. Several have played a significant role in my personal recovery, this program is second to none. I've been all over the state for recovery, Ohio Treatment Center is by far the most complete program that I have been a part of, which has given me the motivation to pursue a career in recovery and hopefully work with these individuals who have proven to be the best of the best.

Like every where else. You get what you put in. And they're willing to help in anyway possible. The groups are positive and uplifting. The staff are kind and helpful with scheduling, and rescheduling. The doctor's are kind and understandable.

Awesome place to go through recovery. In the 20 years I have been in recovery I have never experienced such a professional organized staff. They assist with medication, case work, are flexible with scheduling. They get you your meds right away at the facility and it's a great place to go to find the right path

The staff were very helpful, professional, and willing to meet clients where they’re at based on their own individual treatment needs. They were the only agency that I found in my area that believe in a dual diagnosis treatment model, which allows you to continue taking your mental health medications, while also getting help for SUD.

I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.

I have been to rehabs that charge out of pocket and ones that take Medicaid. Talbott hall is among the best places to get treatment that take Medicaid. This place saved my life when I was at my lowest. Detox was comfortable and the out patient programs have been solid.
