My experience at The Ridge completely changed my life. Extremely thorough in their approach and left no stones unturned. I will forever look at my life as pre-The Ridge and post-The Ridge.

Update: 526 days sober and going strong. I have definitely had cravings and vulnerable points, but have managed to stay sober thanks in large part to the ridge. I'm at 8 months sober today and can say that the things I learned at the Ridge still help me every day- literally. I am still in the aftercare program and getting a lot out of it. If you need help this is a great place to build a foundation for sobriety (and abstinence from other drugs as well). Summary: The Ridge is an excellent comprehensive treatment program for alcohol use disorder (and others). I personally had an exceptional experience with the residential treatment program, intensive outpatient therapy, and aftercare. Nothing about this experience was easy but I am confident that due to my experience with The Ridge I have a solid recovery foundation (I am just over 4 months sober currently). This review focuses on residential care Highlights -well developed program that is evidence based -full days -attendance at local 12 step meetings -access to a wide variety of recreational activities and art and music therapy classes -I felt prepared when I left and have continued to feel that way (it has been difficult but I have the tools) -staff are compassionate and helpful; many are in recovery themselves - peer support - comfortable accomodations and excellent food My advice if you are going to a program like The Ridge (these things helped me to have continued success today) -follow the rules, yes they may seem silly -do awkward things they ask like getting a temporary sponsor and numbers at meetings -listen to their advice, they may says things that sound stupid,my experience is that the things I think sound stupid end up being the pertinent ones -try to relax into the time; enjoy not having to do a ton of chores, cook for yourself etc -take the time to build a new hobby I electected to go to The Ridge when I came to terms with the fact that I have an alcohol use disorder. I was receiving psychiatric care and my provider gently led me to acknowledge this. Two providers independently recommended The Ridge when I expressed interest in treatment. Residential I initially signed up for the 30 day program but decided to stay longer as I was getting a lot out of the program and am really happy that I did. Residential days are very full. The beginning of the day is filled with groups. The afternoon has time for recreational activities (no naps). A lot of people take up pickleball during this time but there is also the option to go to the pool (when open), do art, write, etc. Evenings there are 12 step meetings in the community. Accomodations I stayed in a private room which I would say was Marrott quality. Cleaning services are provided. You are expected to make your bed (a pretty minor thing). The meals are excellent and snacks are freely available. The culinary staff are great- very personable and great educators. It was sufficiently comfortable and quiet enough to get quality sleep. Nursing Nursing staff were generally available and very helpful. Medication time windows could be a bit tight but were feasible. Recovery support specialist staff Recovery support specialists helped with sessions, daily questions, and herding everyone, They all have different personalities but in general were very easy to get along with. Supervisory staff were very helpful and responsive. Counselors Generally had very helpful sessions, individual counseling was very helpful.

​Prosperity Haven (Now Wellbrook Recovery) saved the life of one of my loved ones and I (as well as my family) will forever be grateful for it!!! We were able to visit every week and the staff and other men staying at the house were always so kind and welcoming to us. The house and property are so nice and well taken care of. The counseling and therapy as well as the friendships that my family member was able to find through this program was so unique and special, I truly believe it saved his life and allowed him to live a life he's really never been able to live before. He is now an alumni and still continues to participate in AA meetings and alumni events. Every week he is excited to reconnect with the men he met at the house and at alumni events since then. His experience at Prosperity Haven has allowed him to fully understand his substance abuse behaviors and how to find the right tools to handle his urges and temptations. It has saved his marriage and relationships with friends and family. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is seeking a place that focuses on both mental health and addiction in a supportive, welcoming environment!!

The people are caring and compassionate . That is so important in an inpatient facility especially when recovery is new to you. I would send family there if they needed help.

4 stars for detox, 1 for woman's supportive housing. Alot of people are there because they have to be, or they have no place else to go, so it's very chaotic. Not a healthy environment for recovery, in my opinion. The gossip around campus is that the higher ups are only about the money, but I'm not sure if that's true. The counselors are great, but there is not enough of them. Two of the nighttime RA's were awful, gossipy, lazy, cold, and unprofessional.

This place is awesome. I haven't looked back since being there.

Lumiere has truly changed my life completely. I was treated so kind in inpatient treatment. The nurses , doctor and counselors were amazing.Im in outpatient now and still receiving top notch recovery! If you really want to change your life call and get help at Lumiere. When I was looking to leave treatment I knew I still needed structure in my life so I contacted the House of Hope for their Recovery Residence Program. They have been amazing after I moved in they helped me find a new job, when I found out that it would be remote they set me up for success in the house. Their structure has help keep me sober.

I've been here at The Recovery Village in Groveport since September 16th. Its been the best experience of Recovery I've ever experienced, the staff is great, food is great and the rooms are awesome. Mel Timberlake and Rochelle Sparks are Awesome! I really enjoy joking around with Ann and Hislord from the nursing staff. Anyways all around great place for Recovery!!! This place saved my life. I went there straight from detox and I was home!!! I stayed sober clean and I'm hoping to get a job there I filled out an application? A awesome person I met Melissa Johnston she currently works there she was a client there when I was!! I will never forget the food I got to eat it was amazing!!! The staff was so caring and engaged!! I was treated for hep c while I was there to!!! A nice room with a shower in it!!!!! A personal trainer so we got to work out!!!! The kitchen was opened all night which I thought was great!!! I love paula, sister T, Sara, Courtney my counselor while I was there! Jeremy are gym teacher, all the staff marva!!!!! Ann love you 💕

*Editing to add that I continued this care with Dr. Streeter, who is the best! I have been stable for 19 months and counting! Was having a mental health crisis due to PTSD. I am very thankful there is a psychiatric urgent care at the Ashland location. Dr. Snyder was amazing and so understanding. Very happy I can start on a road to getting through everything in a more stable way, just needed some help to get started! Would recommend if you have a long wait to get into a doctor for medication. They also set you up with a psychiatrist to manage the meds going forward if you dont already have one. So helpful. ♥️ really grateful this care exists.

Chris in the crisis support unit really went the extra mile to help me. She was on the phone, then came out and met me when I finally made the choice to come in, and gave me some comfort. She was very honest which I really found important, and I'm really glad that I came in. She celebrated the little victories while I had there, and was the one to see me out when I left. Everyone seemed really enjoyable in the CSU and support staff seemed lovely as well. I believe Sarah was the other person I met there, and I really enjoyed how she spoke on my level and it was very calm, and casual, and I liked how the professional getup was gone, it felt very personable and to me that was extremely valuable. The other places I've gone to have been alright, but I'm one of those people who value real person-to-person connection, and my short visit to the crisis unit really helped me out a lot.

Easy to get in same day! My first day I was dosed and I always feel comfortable here. They really have helped me . They will help you, but they won't waste their time if you're not willing to help yourself. If you are serious about your recovery they give you all the help and time in the world.

This place has the friendliest staff ever!! They welcome just about anyone. The ppl at the front desk, the nurses and doctors are always a pleasure to interact with, they remain professional and respect the clients. Also Sean Smith is the best counselor I've had personally in my 8+ years of being involed with places of this nature! He does the most.A great place to go if you want to get better!!! It's been a good place over the few months I have been there all except there is a nurse in the window that treated me straight like garbage this morning and left me sitting at the window knowing that I have to ride the bus and have other stuff to do but today I lost my step brother to a overdose and dealing with this nurse this morning could have caused me to relapse but I made it through the day every body else is nice there except the nurse I had to deal with today even caused me to miss my counselor appointment

I started coming to Brightview 2 days after my baby girl was born TRAUMATIZED by CommQuest!! But in need of help to maintain sobriety with my new little angel but my faith in the out patient MAT programs was all over the place because of all my bad experiences in the past 10yrs and I could not remain sober I’m almost a full 2yrs sober today - Brightview became a part of my sobriety story 1 month into my sobriety and as a new mom!! I love them I am so thankful for them I am allergic to suboxen and they didn’t try to force me to take it so they could “watch me react” as other clinics would tell me to do They helped me get the proof from a detox facility I had been in And helped me the whole time between that Time and it took them 2-3 months to send the paperwork I am so thankful for this place and highly recommend it it makes commquest look like a maximum security prison the difference in the way ur treated They genuinely care My daughter is 15 almost 16 months she knows them well they adore her and they helped save her mommy Thank u Brightview!! Every employee here isn't just here for the paycheck and they all enjoy what they do. They genuinely care and want to help make a difference. They love seeing progress. The warm welcomes and enthusiasm they deliver make a big difference and are one of the reasons I continue to come in and fight for my sobriety. They believed in me from the begining.

Ive been going to Brightview for over 4 years.It has made me able to achieve sobriety and has saved my life, and made me feel like I am worthy.

Been going there for 3 years and I have had a great experience and still sober. My counselor is the best a lot more good staff. I would recommend this place for any addict to get sober they don't judge you they just there to help .

Brightview in Wilmington, Ohio has truly been a lifesaver for me. The staff there is truly compassionate and caring. I was an emotional mess when I first stopped there. I didn’t even have an appointment, but I knew I had to get help right away. I’ll be forever grateful to the nurse, Linda, who came to my aid. She welcomed me and my tears with open arms. All of the other staff are truly amazing as well. My Dr. Don truly has a heart of gold and my counselor Lisa is Heaven Sent! I’ve never felt judged or uncomfortable in any way. Everyone that works there is amazing! My thanks goes out to Paula, Lola, Amanda and ALL the staff that have been there to help me through the struggles life has thrown at me this last year. I can’t recall all the names of the other smiling faces that greet me each time I go there, but they all have a way of making me feel like I’m seeing a friend. Awesome job, Brightview! Councilors are great, people tend to talk a lot about other people and families. This is the thing I dislike. I find the people around me need more maturity.

Came through here nearly 3 years ago and am happy to say I am still clean. Place is amazing if you are willing to take some suggestions and not stay in old patterns. Ton of dudes I went through stayed sober a year or more. The ones who complained and threw themselves a pity party while blaming the world for their problems, instead of being accountable for themselves; relapsed. This place gives you every opportunity to succeed, you just have to be to willing.

Thanks to New Day I can probably say that in a month I will have 2 years of sobriety. God Bless. My dream is to come back there and work alongside those caring authentic people.

Great place to build a foundation

There are people here who care. Several have played a significant role in my personal recovery, this program is second to none. I've been all over the state for recovery, Ohio Treatment Center is by far the most complete program that I have been a part of, which has given me the motivation to pursue a career in recovery and hopefully work with these individuals who have proven to be the best of the best.

Midwest is a Phenomenal place,with employees that real take there job very serious,about seeing people becoming Sober and Clean.I have accomplished been Sober every since I have walked through the doors of Midway.I can Honestly say that my willingness of wanting to become sober and Midway help,has played a major part in my life to becoming Sober.I am sober today.Blessings to Everyone at Midway,Thank you for your Help and believing in me.

The staff is so nice and very polite and they go out of the way to help you try to get whatever you need if you need a social worker if you need a mental health counselor, any doctors appointments they strive to help you get back on your feet. The counselors are amazing. They’re a genuinely care and they genuinely want to help overall I love Brightview. I’ve been going here for a few years. This is one of the top drug and alcohol centers. I think in Scioto County Ohio.

A family member went to Talbot Hall recently. He had been to several other rehabilitation centers, but said this was by far the best facility he has been in. He learned a great deal that he has put to very good use since he came home 6 weeks ago. I’m very grateful for the people that helped him and have made a huge difference in his life.

I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.

I have been to rehabs that charge out of pocket and ones that take Medicaid. Talbott hall is among the best places to get treatment that take Medicaid. This place saved my life when I was at my lowest. Detox was comfortable and the out patient programs have been solid.
