It can be quite difficult to get into Santa Fe Recovery Center(SFRC) through traditional means. I suggest making a visit to a Santa Fe hospital emergency room and telling the doctor you want to go to SFRC detox. These patients are given priority.I found Santa Fe Recovery to be the best detox I have attended in long list of treatments attempted in new mexico. With the help and support of SFRC I was able to launch the longest period of clean time I have achieved to date. I most certainly recommend it. There is no magic pill or program that will fix an addict. There's no cure for addiction. There is only treatment, which, with the full participation of the addict, can be of great assistance in regaining a happy and healthy life.If you encounter a problem that threatens your detox or recovery you must advocate for yourself. You cannot expect people to read your mind.Any current medications must be reviewed and documented by a doctor at the time of entrance. Make sure staff has this documentation before beginning detox to prevent any interruption of dosing. Otherwise it'll have to be re- prescribed by their doctor who is very busy, so this may take 5 days or more.If someone asks you to take a medication you are allergic to Do Not Take It! Inform or repeat the issue to staff. They do not force medication in your mouth and compel you to swallow it.Do not expect to get along with every single staff member; they are people just like us; sometimes with personalities that clash with our own. Avoid staff that upset you or make you uncomfortable when possible. Tell your counselor the situation. They can advise the best course of action.Do not expect any staff member to work harder for you than you do for yourself; no one can do this for you.Even if detox/rehab doesn't go the way you had hoped or you are not able maintain recovery at worst you were able to achieve a bit of clean time(which is no small thing) and you know where to come back when you're ready. Or where not to come back and try another program. Just keep trying. Our worst and most compleat failures are the goals we never attempt to reach

I was admitted to Santa Fe recovery in February 2024 not even sure if I wanted to get completely sober. Now on the 15 of February one month away I will be celebrating a year sober. Thanks to Santa Fe recovery for getting me clean that first 30 and for helping me get into choice recovery patt, my sober living, and kick starting my new life in Albuquerque. I use to believe I was hopeless and now my heart is full of hope and light.

It's a good place to get your life started in the right direction. The therapy and classes is what I need and it's a good atmosphere. Give them a try if your trying to get your life in order.

Hands down the best clinic in Albuquerque! The staff is BEYOND helpful and caring especially Dallas. Words can't describe how amazing everyone is, from the front desk to the counselors everyone's always working hard to help you succeed

Just got off the phone with the billing department after being told by multiple multiple methadone clinics and my own of 3 and a half years that no one would except my insurance and that they would not help me until I pay the past due $$$ due to me getting scammed on my insurance which I already filed a grievance and took care of takes time to go into affect. Anyway I m down to 20 mg from 160 and this is the only clinic that actually was willing to work with me, and the staff was friendly, even though I was very rude so I would say this is the first methadone clinic I found where they actually seem to care about their patients and not just the money I would highly recommend to anyone having an issue at another clinic.They were professional, friendly and could ve just turned me away, but helped instead

Thank God for this place,I been clean over a year now,and feel great! family trust me again I got a job and money in pocket every day,Alt recovery is cheaper than elite and has better open hours than elite does,and now the people and counslers are a whole lot better also . They truly care about everybody ,love you all at Alt recovery!

I've been going to ALT Recovery for a while now and must say I'm well pleased with it. Marty is very good at keeping the place running smoothly and he doesn't talk down to people. Anita is also very professional. I recommend ALT Recovery to anyone needing this type of service.

It's a state run facility so you will encounter; individuals court ordered to treatment who don't really care, homeless who just want a place to stay and temporarily detox, staff members on a power trip that will take every opportunity to put you down and threaten you. But if you are serious about your recovery, there are a dozen staff members In recovery who will move heaven and earth to support you, Find them utilize them take in their wisdom. While everyone else is working at TLH for a paycheck they are working there for you. They won't force you to get clean or use the coping skills but if you ask for help you can bet your butt they will be the first in line to give it to you. After two very bad experiences with Therapist, my therapist friend suggested I try Serna solutions. They placed me with the therapist Erin. She is wonderful, she has helped me through so much. And I feel so thankful that Serna solutions exist.

Thank you to the gentleman and his team im a new patient and I was not seen yey but I was having a hard time and needed to speak to someone, he said they do not do walkins like that but he provided me quick sources to go and call. He did a follow up a call on weekened and i appreciate that I got the help I needed thank to the quick thinking and knowing what to do.

I want to thank the office manager, I dont remember his name. But he is always so kind and professional with my family and well knowledge with our insurance plan. Also the organization, they have helped my family tremendous through our difficult time. Highly recommended.

New Season's is the best MAT program in Albuquerque, hands down. I've been to a couple, but NS treats me like a human instead of a way to make money or just another face. Nick is amazing and helped me through some tough times while traveling for my job while getting treatment. 10/10! The rest of the staff is also just as amazing.I am using this program to help get off of a pain medication for a chronic health condition. The entire staff has helped me every step of rhe way, even though they knew I didn't want to stay on Methadone either.

Love this place they help you when u run into any issues they don't just tell you there's nothing they can do bout it. I went to the clinic on hanies and there were times I'd go for my doses and they wud say that my medicade didn't go thro and wudnt give us our meds. This clinic helps you to figure it out. It's a very scary feeling when u can't get ur meds especially when u rely on that med everyday. It's a very scary feeling when u think or when u are sick. And the one thing that helps u u cnt get. But I really appreciate this clinic. I come from Grants to get my meds Alb is the closest place to get them. Thank for always being so understanding and helpful

The people are very nice except the nurse lady most of the time has an attitude and is dismissive but other than her it has been amazing experience. Everyone else is very welcoming and they make you feel comfortable and are very supportive
