Zia Recovery Center is a drug and alcohol addiction recovery center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Their mission is to help adult clients achieve long term recovery through evidence backed treatment that helps improve all areas of their lives so that they may lead more fulfilling lives. They are a private facility with modern amenities. Zia Recovery
I came to Zia in September, after an experience with another treatment center and I really had no idea what to expect. From the very first phone call, I felt safe and comfortable. When I got here, I felt so welcomed and cared for. The staff at Zia makes you feel seen and heard. They actually care about you as a human being and they provide so much support. They help build a solid foundation so you have a chance at experiencing life long recovery. The techs are understanding and kind. The therapists are knowledgeable and supportive. The people that run Zia are more than just names on the wall. They are involved and available to talk to if you ever have concerns. Zia has created such a community in the recovery world and these people have helped me completely change everything about my life. They've given me a chance to create so much change. Their facilities are nicer than any other treatment center I've seen and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity they've given me. I will have so much love for ZRC for the rest of my life.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the facilities for the first phase called detox. The home like facility was actually more of a mansion. I couldn't believe someone would provide such beautiful accommodation for me. This made me feel like I really mattered. I was allowed to rest with the help of medication for the first 48 hours. In home meals were provided three times a day. Cigarettes were provided for the smokers. I attended classes daily centered on self love, healing and recovery. They also transported us daily to AA and NA meetings. The second phase, located in another house granted more freedom and classes began at the Zia offices. Everyday was laid out in a way to form good habits after rehab. Morning meditation, gym time, meetings, one on one therapy and connection with peers. A case manager was provided to me and she is an amazing lady whom helped me with many life choices. A peer coffee Cafe was provided with a certified peer support specialist available throughout the day. The third phase was the apartments. I was allowed to work and coexist with great women. I have the option to be a part of the Zia Alumni which is really special. I have been home for two years and am celebrating two years clean and sober today. I thank God for the people who cared enough to create such a wonderful place to achieve sobriety.

I had went to shadow mountain a few years back, and they have really helped me change my life for the better. I went in anxious and insecure, and everyone here (including Randal and Richard, and a lot more staff I can t remember the name of) had lifted me up and supported me in ways I ve never experienced in other facilities. Randal had helped me become more confident in myself while Richard had helped me understand my relationship with life and god deeper, and they gave me the opportunity to go forward to another sober living out in Huntington Beach, which has all lead to me coming up on 2 years sober this months, a finance I love, and a life that I feel like I m thriving in. Shadow mountain was a fundamental part of my life changing from relentless drug abuse and hurting myself and others around me, to growth in myself and a life where I have value and purpose. I definitely recommend shadow mountain to anyone who is serious about overcoming their addiction and changing their life. Thank you all!!

This is an exceptional treatment experience for addiction. The staff, led by the amazing Randall Staton, is extraordinary; many professionals passionate about helping people like me. The facility itself is nestled in Shadow Mountain and it is well maintained and very comfortable. The mountain itself is a very spiritual place. It has a lot of power and one can feel it just by being there. If you or a loved one needs help with addiction, I highly recommend Shadow Mountain Recovery in Taos, New Mexico. It's one of a kind and truly effective.

The facilities and environment and programs at Vista Taos are exceptional. I researched many rehab facilities in the U.S. in several states (NM, Ariz., Utah, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Florida) and after careful consideration of all features, size, programs, quality of care, offerings, environment -- Vista came out on top, as my #1 pick best of all rehab programs. Also, the intake counselor Jeremy was extraordinary, he took so much time and care to discuss programs and specifics, and advise me about pros and cons of rehab in general, what to look for, how to evaluate programs, and how to select the best options for my family member. He even helped me network with other rehabs to get their info and compare. He is an amazing resource and the most caring, giving intake person I encountered in all rehabs I searched. I endorse Vista as the very best of programs.

As a young alcohol and drug counselor, I referred my first client to Vista Taos Renewal Center in 1997. Over these 25 or so years, I have referred many clients to this fine facility located in the beautiful Taos NM area, consistently with positive results. If you, or someone you know, is in need of treatment, these folks have consistently provided life saving treatment for a very long time and I would put them on my short list of facilities providing this sort of treatment in NM.

It can be quite difficult to get into Santa Fe Recovery Center(SFRC) through traditional means. I suggest making a visit to a Santa Fe hospital emergency room and telling the doctor you want to go to SFRC detox. These patients are given priority.I found Santa Fe Recovery to be the best detox I have attended in long list of treatments attempted in new mexico. With the help and support of SFRC I was able to launch the longest period of clean time I have achieved to date. I most certainly recommend it. There is no magic pill or program that will fix an addict. There's no cure for addiction. There is only treatment, which, with the full participation of the addict, can be of great assistance in regaining a happy and healthy life.If you encounter a problem that threatens your detox or recovery you must advocate for yourself. You cannot expect people to read your mind.Any current medications must be reviewed and documented by a doctor at the time of entrance. Make sure staff has this documentation before beginning detox to prevent any interruption of dosing. Otherwise it'll have to be re- prescribed by their doctor who is very busy, so this may take 5 days or more.If someone asks you to take a medication you are allergic to Do Not Take It! Inform or repeat the issue to staff. They do not force medication in your mouth and compel you to swallow it.Do not expect to get along with every single staff member; they are people just like us; sometimes with personalities that clash with our own. Avoid staff that upset you or make you uncomfortable when possible. Tell your counselor the situation. They can advise the best course of action.Do not expect any staff member to work harder for you than you do for yourself; no one can do this for you.Even if detox/rehab doesn't go the way you had hoped or you are not able maintain recovery at worst you were able to achieve a bit of clean time(which is no small thing) and you know where to come back when you're ready. Or where not to come back and try another program. Just keep trying. Our worst and most compleat failures are the goals we never attempt to reach

Just got off the phone with the billing department after being told by multiple multiple methadone clinics and my own of 3 and a half years that no one would except my insurance and that they would not help me until I pay the past due $$$ due to me getting scammed on my insurance which I already filed a grievance and took care of takes time to go into affect. Anyway I m down to 20 mg from 160 and this is the only clinic that actually was willing to work with me, and the staff was friendly, even though I was very rude so I would say this is the first methadone clinic I found where they actually seem to care about their patients and not just the money I would highly recommend to anyone having an issue at another clinic. They were professional, friendly and could ve just turned me away, but helped instead

When I was down there for rtc at first I didn t like it. I just wanted to get out I was in the rtc program for 7 months. There was days I felt like nothing was helping me. I felt like what I said didn t matter. But there was days Where everything was good everything was all right. They taught me a lot of skills. There were a couple staff that I loved. They kept me up and helped me out when I was struggling. Ms. Jeanette. Ms. Carmelita. And Ms. Aida. Mrs. Mallela was a very good therapist. She helped me out a lot don t get me wrong we had our moments but they really helped me understand why I needed to be there and why what I was doing could leave me dead or back in jail. I was very surprised by this facility, they said the people start lining up at 7am but I didn't see anyone in line when I got there and that was at 7:30 so I had hoped it wouldn't be an all day deal. And that it was but in a good way. I got to meet Adam which is now my PCP for a short time, he will be transferring for personal reasons in a few months, but enough of that. Turned out to be one of the most successful days of my life, my PCP actually cared actually listened, actually looked me in the eye when he asked me questions or made suggestions, I actually felt like I was on the same level as he was, and that felt amazing. It didn't feel like he was above me like some providers tend to seem just from being at an authority level for so long. We actually had a conversation about my pain, my feelings and my state of mind. This may seem like a little exaggeration but if you have ever experienced chronic pain it's everything. I hate to see him go because the trust will be short lived and I struggle with change, but I think to be able to feel security with your Doctor at any level is a gift. So thank you Adam, I hope your transfer is successful for you and your family I know you both need it, I had a couple of daycare's in the very place your going and believe me it felt good to be the helper instead of the one being helped. Good Luck

This was my 1st visit to RMCH and the staff were very friendly, from the information desk to Registration, helping me get to where I needed to be. The Physician was very carirng and making sure I was comfortable and not cold. Explaining everything that was going to happen. I had a very good experience.

I stayed here back in the beginning of 2018 till almost the ending of it I know it might have drastically changed here but when I was here most of the staff was helpful and really nice, gave you respect if you respected them. I feel this place is only good for someone staying here for shelter. Definitely not a way to get help unless your 16 and can go to the youth services nextdoor for even more support as long as I have remembered since the shelter can be holding kids that barely got out of a detention center.
