New Season's is the best MAT program in Albuquerque, hands down. I've been to a couple, but NS treats me like a human instead of a way to make money or just another face. Nick is amazing and helped me through some tough times while traveling for my job while getting treatment. 10/10! The rest of the staff is also just as amazing.I am using this program to help get off of a pain medication for a chronic health condition. The entire staff has helped me every step of rhe way, even though they knew I didn't want to stay on Methadone either.

This place is a joke the director doesn't even know what the rules of the facility he told me to go dose and to get my box from home and return for my take homes. Then the nurse refuses to give me my take homes. Malpractice it would be different if he told me I couldnt come back to pick up separately. The Director admitted to mee he didn't know that i couldnt come back for take homes. IS THERE NO TRAINING HERE .ITS MY LIFE NOT A JOKE NOW IM GOING TO BE SICK BECAUSE DIRECTOR DONT NO HIS JOB . the nurses are rude I do not recommend this place for treatment at all I have been with them 2.5 years this is the worst it has ever been for your health don't come here GOD BLESS YOU ALLPlease train your staff it's people lifes corporate camera don't lie check the tape December 27th in two years of being on the west side I have had counseling twice lack of staff

Love this place they help you when u run into any issues they don't just tell you there's nothing they can do bout it. I went to the clinic on hanies and there were times I'd go for my doses and they wud say that my medicade didn't go thro and wudnt give us our meds. This clinic helps you to figure it out. It's a very scary feeling when u can't get ur meds especially when u rely on that med everyday. It's a very scary feeling when u think or when u are sick. And the one thing that helps u u cnt get. But I really appreciate this clinic. I come from Grants to get my meds Alb is the closest place to get them. Thank for always being so understanding and helpful

Accepted Insurance

New Season Treatment Center – Albuquerque North works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Accreditations

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Established in 1992 by congress, SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on American's communities.

Location is great, the women clients get treated a little better then the men. Except the nurses, there great... just noticed, that the women get moved up for take home but the men have to practically beg...other than that I would have given 5 stars but I hate hearing my son have to be treated differently cuz of his sex. Hopefully the men who are running it can start being equal....and hopefully he will be able to go back so we're not diving across town...

It's a very nice clinic and the workers they're actually care about us we're not treated like just a number they really care and they help us with anything, they want to see us succeed. Unlike other clinics that I've been to where they talk about their patients badly this clinic don't and they don't treat us rudely either they're very respectable, helpful, kind, and care alot about us.honestly the best clinic I have EVER been to.

Well to Start off I Really Like going to New Seasons North. I’ve been an addict most of my life I’ve went to many clinics but this one is Way better .I enjoy going early morning when the sun rises. There are a few staff there It’s seems like the staff there come & go . I don’t like that because you open up to them. Than next week comes your cancelar will no longer be there that’s so not good .I have to start all over again and open up how is a person supposed to move on in life when you don’t have a steady cancelar . There are few staff that I feel comfortable with such as Jason he has been there the longest it seems. Jason is there daily ready to work always patient & understanding & very respectful .He always ready to help you in anyway way he can. There are times when I come in with lots on my mind not in good spirits .6:00 am there he is opening up ready to conquer the needs of many . Jason is there with Experience, very knowledgeable ,patient & understanding .I know if I have a question or problem he’s there long story short he’s the best there is . I’m am grateful .Thank you New Season ————————————————————— Also I like to thank the Dosing nurses Teresa & Linda I’m am so grateful to them they are there bright eyed & bushy tailed at the window ready to dose & prepare the methodone for those who have the prívelage of taking home their doses . I’m sure they could or would rather stay home in bed a few more hours . But no I approach the window And I I see is patientience & a smile . 6:00 I appreciate all they do to make my life or day go better . From Red flags to U,As to seeing a concelar or Dr . So patient & alert thank you for being there I love to go to the window and see there smile . My dad & I are usually the first ones there . Everybody loves my dad it’s difficult at times . My dad & I are grateful thanks New Season North . This clinic is so clean & is open Monday thru Friday the early morning is the best times because you get up go to the clinic and dose than your on your way to start your day .

Couldn't ask for a better place to go for treatment. Unlike. The other clinics that treat clients as if they are just numbers and don't even learn your name are not worth risking your sobriety and future. This is the clinic anyone who seriously wants quality help should go.

I came to New Seasons North 15 months ago, my family wasn't speaking to me and I didn't have any place to live. After about 20 years of trying to recover I had not only figured but was also told that I was "treatment resistant". Hopeless to say the least is exactly how I felt when I first came to New Seasons North. That's when I first met Jason Jackson who was one of the only persons to tell me otherwise. After talking with him on a daily basis along with his encouragement and guidance, I finally realized there is no such thing as "treatment resistant" After a little over a year of persistence and working I finally have my own place but most important I have my family back. Thanks for all your help Jason. Anyone feeling hopeless should give this place a try!!
