Staff is outstanding, I can tell my councilor Mike cares about his clients succeeding the program and will do whatever he can to make you feel heard,, and the other councilors seem to as well.. The staff was changing quite a bit for a yr or two ago but, the new ones coming in are always kind and apathetic. I Miss the old Director Max but other than wishing he still was there, I have no complains

I love TPRC! They have so many options and help during the recovery process! Super grateful for all the staff! I wouldn’t be at my point of sobriety without the help and encouragement from TP 🙏🏻 Also to mention the super cool amenities they have to offer at the wellness center! I’m 143 days sobriety, I now have full custody of my daughter, and I am graduating with the class of Jan 2026 in the medical billing and coding! I could not have done it without my support team and everyone in my tool box from TPRC. I am forever grateful to everyone on my journey. They are truly amazing team! Hello, my name is David Coronado My life dramatically change ever since I came to teen challenge. It’s September 3 of 2024. I decided to come to New Mexico, adult teen challenge ever since I came to get help to New Mexico, they’ve been nothing but kind to me. I’ve had some good counseling sessions. they’ve shown me the love of Christ I’ve been getting into the word getting and closer to God. I’ve came to a conclusion there’s no other way. But with God I also gave my life to the Lord on April 13, 2025 at harvest Church Ever since I got baptized, it was an eye-opening experience none of this would have happened If it wasn’t for teen challenge in New Mexico, I just want to tell you guys thank you for what you have done and it’s all through Christ I graduated this program in September 28 of 2025 I decided to become an intern So that I could help other students grow in the recovery, not only that they are helping me heal I know that this is my calling and I am truly inspired by the way these men have taken up there cross and carried it daily. There strength gives. The guidance of my leaders like Juan the directer and my fellow co disciples leade me daily. My heart is fed by the word of God and I feel that my cup being filled allowed me to help pour out on others that need to be lead. My life is no longer but used to do the will God here in teen challenge.

New Season's is the best MAT program in Albuquerque, hands down. I've been to a couple, but NS treats me like a human instead of a way to make money or just another face. Nick is amazing and helped me through some tough times while traveling for my job while getting treatment. 10/10! The rest of the staff is also just as amazing.
I am using this program to help get off of a pain medication for a chronic health condition. The entire staff has helped me every step of rhe way, even though they knew I didn't want to stay on Methadone either.

Albuquerque, NM | The Evolution Group, Inc., located in Albuquerque, New Mexic, has provided counseling services since 1998. Surrounded by the city’s unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage, the center offers a welcoming space for people facing mental health challenges including substance use disorders. They take a holistic approach to addiction treat | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’m new to both The Evolution Group and in-person therapy in general, but so far the experience has been… lovely. The space is like a protective compound of renovated homes with a central peaceful garden and multiple therapy spaces. It feels safe, comfortable, and thoughtful. The staff have made the process simple… like checking into a spa. My therapist, Crystal, is patient, warm, personable, and genuinely listens. I’ve only had 2 sessions, but all of the worry and anxiety of being in a new environment and situation melted away during the first session. We haven’t started the work of therapy just yet, but I’m optimistic about the journey given the amazing start.
Update: Seven months later and I'm still very much impressed. Crystal is a wonderful therapist and a beautiful soul. I'll be honest, the first 4 months felt like a rinse and spin cycle. That's just my experience of the process, but the team there made it easy to be a patient. Something strange... that place feels familiar and safe, like going home (in a good way). I continue to refer coworkers here.

My Experience in a Questionable Rehab Program
I hesitated to write this for a long time, but sharing it has helped me find closure.
A few years ago, I entered what I believed to be a structured 30-day rehabilitation program. From the start, the environment felt unusually restrictive — communication with family was limited and monitored, and group meetings often felt more performative than supportive. After completing the initial program, I moved into the affiliated sober-living facility, where the culture became increasingly controlling and emotionally intense.
The program emphasized “accountability” in ways that often crossed personal boundaries and blurred the lines between discipline and control. Residents were required to report their whereabouts constantly, attend multiple mandatory meetings each day, and publicly disclose personal issues in group settings that sometimes felt more punitive than therapeutic. Leadership maintained tight control over daily routines and communication, creating an atmosphere of fear and dependency rather than recovery.
Ultimately, I was dismissed from the program for reasons I found unclear and disproportionate. The experience left me emotionally drained but also deeply reflective. It taught me a great deal about personal boundaries, the importance of ethical treatment environments, and how easily “help” can become coercion when power is misused.
While it was painful, the experience strengthened my sense of autonomy and empathy for others navigating recovery. I share this not to assign blame, but to encourage discernment and transparency in organizations that claim to help vulnerable people.

Management puts Community Support Workers (CSW) in dangerous situations without safety precautions in place when working with aggressive/ dangerous clients. For example, I was assigned a client without ever knowing this person physically attacked his last worker weeks before with a metal object causing injury. And here I was driving alone with the client, putting myself at risk without any and communication from management regarding his violent outbursts/ aggression towards CSW staff. It was disappointing to know that the agency did not put my safety into consideration and chose not to communicate valuable info to ensure the safety of an employee.
The HR Director uses "bully" tactics when communicating with employees. Most employees try to avoid her as she has a reputation in the community of being unprofessional. For example, instead of bringing in training to help employees learn skills related to the job, she brought in her friend from the "UFC GYM" in an attempt to sell us gym memberships.
CSW's have to use their own vehicles to transport clients. I actually had an adult throw up in my vehicle one time, it was a mess.
Other agencies (All Faith's, and UNMH) does a much better job assisting staff/ ensuring safety. Not to mention, CSW's only get paid $9.00 an hour when they are not with clients which is lower than minimum wage.

Only 1 star so I could post. Very rude receptionist for youth doctors. She has no professionalism in her. She likes to argue and pretty much schedule my child with whom ever. I was told one doctor was leaving then ended up staying but only to see younger children. Then seen a volunteer doctor and come to find out the other doctor was still there and finally got back in to the office. There's so much more that could be said here but rather not this place is not the best to turn to if your needing GOOD medication management.

My grandson is in here. It took him a bit to adjust. He's been in here for a bit he doesn't like being locked up. But he's been to a few other places before he got here. But this place is way better than the other facilities he's been in. Who is going to like being locked up the question is are you going to learn from it or keep on doing the same thing. Break the rules you come to a place like this one or you go to a juvenile detention center. This place is like a retreat by comparison. They let your parents bring you healthy foods snacks games books you don't get those in other facilities. Especially in juvenile detention nothing goes in.

This is from my experience back in 2021ish. I was 15, in the youth ward admitted for being suchidal. When I was there, it was like a big daycare. I liked the nurses a lot, honestly, they were caring and fun. Place was clean and there was a big tv/play structure outside.
