As a patient that has been in other programs, TPRC has been by far the best! Between the staff, the medical team, and the clients themselves, the experience has been great. Starting the program can be a process with insurance and finding a bed/opening, but it's like that no matter where you go. Don't let that turn you away from this great program!

I’ve been coming to New Mexico Treatment Center for some time now there’s been a lot of staff that have came an gone it’s sad just when we start to open up to these counselors the next week they’re gone .Theres a few really good counselors up stairs .Theres 1 Dedicated to Her patience the most is Darlene, any time anyone has questions or concerns she’s on it. She goes above & beyond for her patience helps get dog food donated for those who are homeless with animals. They didn’t have security when I first started coming now they do it’s helped, u just have those without any where to go so yes they do hang around . I think they’re should be more programs that are hands on because Being an addict is one thing and for some it’s even harder for some to sit in a room full active users it makes it hard for those who are taking their sobriety serious. Keep up the fight to end addiction.

No matter the department or mental state that I arrive in...I have been treated with care and dignity and respect. As a female veteran ive found VA care to be very hit and miss, but the folks here both male and female staff have always strived to accommodate me (even if I was acting crazy). They have THE best mental health care in the VA IMO. BEACON (WALK-IN emergency mental health) is an absolute blessing and every VA should have something similar.
If youre a vet and want to know about your benefits and care options, ABQ is the place to go.

I have been seen by the optometrist, audiologist, ENT, sleep center, and most recently the MRI section and have been amazed EVERY time with the caring, professional attitudes of ALL of the employees. In fact, the last time I attempted an MRI at a civilian hospital, I was unable to complete it. At the VA, it was only due to Jeff's compassionate and caring manner that I was able to complete the MRI. This is the best healthcare I have ever received, bar none.

Albuquerque, NM | The Evolution Group, Inc., located in Albuquerque, New Mexic, has provided counseling services since 1998. They take a holistic approach to addiction treat | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’m new to both The Evolution Group and in-person therapy in general, but so far the experience has been… lovely. The space is like a protective compound of renovated homes with a central peaceful garden and multiple therapy spaces. It feels safe, comfortable, and thoughtful. The staff have made the process simple… like checking into a spa. My therapist, Crystal, is patient, warm, personable, and genuinely listens. I’ve only had 2 sessions, but all of the worry and anxiety of being in a new environment and situation melted away during the first session. We haven’t started the work of therapy just yet, but I’m optimistic about the journey given the amazing start.
Update: Seven months later and I'm still very much impressed. Crystal is a wonderful therapist and a beautiful soul. I'll be honest, the first 4 months felt like a rinse and spin cycle. It has helped my interior life substantially already. I want to mention two qualities that stand out.
The first was what has helped me the most. I have worked thus far with Alexa Brown who is doing a phenomenal job taking me seriously. I struggle with the impression that the people around me do not, on even the most fundamental level, have any respect for me, and, as I unravel myself in order to heal the parts of myself about which I'm most ashamed, Alexa's unwavering validation has been invaluable. I could not have asked for a person with whom it is easier to speak.

I left a pretty bad review about 5 years ago. I decided to stay at Duke City and have had a few bad problems since. Really bad staff like them messing up my insurance payments and trying to blame me.
But......
This place is a big part of the reason I'm going to be sober for 10 years in August. It's the reason I have take homes and live a normally relative life. The reason I can hold good jobs. The reason I'm not dead in a gutter. So with that being said, things change. I've seen a LOT of change over the years. About 5 years ago a very overzealous counselor finally left, she was a good counselor but far too influential with management and defensive of really stupid policies like the early open access. Like I said things have changed a lot. Groups are optional now. You can do counseling over the phone. Good stuff. Just.. stay on top of any payment plan you have. And I strongly recommend not using private insurance because billing seems to work with medicaid 99% of the time and any time I've tried to use Cobra insurance or private insurance they have screwed it up and I end up on a payment plan. I still never got reimbursed by the way. They must owe me two or three checks over the years but what ever.
My top concern is that I get my treatment. And I do. My counselor calls me. I get my medicine. Things are okay. So i changed my review from a one to a four after 5 years. I think that is fair.
I do wish however that they use a nurse to do the observed UAs. Nothing against the security guards but it feels like I'm in a parole office rather than a treatment center. I'm here voluntarily. I also don't appreciate it when I have legitimate trouble peeing and the workers immidiately go straight for the stick and say "oh well we can just mark you as a dirty"
If you actually look at my record I haven't had a dirty since I started treatment nearly a decade ago. Why would I want a dirty now? I just need to drink some water you fool...
Other than that, things are good. The clinic is in a good space. Best in years. I strongly recommend management take the win and try not to dramatically change things because this is their peak. Best they have been in years. Keep it up. Please. I can't go back go pre pandemic Duke city. I just cant. That was brutal.

This treatment facility is top notch! The admissions team made me so comfortable while I was working to help get a family member help. They answered all my questions thoroughly. Fortunately my family member decided to go to treatment and I couldn’t be so grateful! Thank you Kandi for all your hard work!

Their comprehensive approach includes a team of behavioral health specialists, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and social worker | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I received absolutely amazing care here. I was in one of the worst crises I’ve ever experienced, and the staff did such an excellent job at making sure everyone was taken care of. Great people who run the groups as well. Was able to get a care plan in place for outpatient which was very helpful. Inpatient stays sound scary, and they can be, however, this is the place to be if you’re in need.
