Simply Healthcare began as a minority owned HMO and pioneered Medicaid specialty plans for those living with HIV/AIDS. It is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Anthem that continues to operate in Florida, contracting with the state government to offer Medicare and managed Medicaid plans. In addition to these, there are a few specialty plans you can get from them.
They have a Healthy Kids plan you can use to insure your non-Medicaid eligible children for affordable rates. If you’re eligible for Florida Medicaid and living with HIV, you can get a Simply Healthcare backed specialty plan from Clear Health Alliance.

I would highly recommend Indiana Center for Recovery. No treatment facility is perfect, and there are a few things I think could be improved, but overall my experience was very positive. In talking with residents who had been through treatment before and experienced relapses, I repeatedly heard this was the best facility they had been to. After my experience, I understand why.
The biggest area for improvement is communication. There can be a lot of redirection between staff when trying to get an answer, and expectations aren't always communicated clearly. When someone is already in a difficult place and there to heal, even small communication issues can become frustrating.
For example, there's a sign-up sheet for cleaning the lunch area that I didn't know about until I discovered I was on it. It's no big deal—about 15 minutes with several people—but knowing beforehand would help. Mail is another example: you need to check the office after sessions each day if you're expecting something. Small things, but clearer communication would make the experience easier.
A few practical recommendations: bring an inexpensive wristwatch because you won't have your phone and clocks aren't always readily available. If you smoke, you can't bring a lighter, although techs are readily available to light cigarettes. A small, dim flashlight is useful for finding things at night without disturbing roommates. A blanket can also help in a cold room or with getting comfortable in a chair.
Where Indiana Center for Recovery really shines is the people and treatment. Syndey, Greg, and Dave are excellent facilitators. Classes cover a wide range of subjects and include traditional groups along with activities such as art and music. I learned a great deal about recovery, myself, and how I look at life. They also offer acupuncture and a variety of other therapeutic activities.
The staff deserves a lot of credit. Toni, Justin, Sarah, Carter, the nursing staff, and many others do a great job. The atmosphere among both staff and residents is remarkably nonjudgmental and supportive. Everyone has a story and is working through something.
The facility has a gym, arcade, and plenty of outdoor areas for walking or sitting when the weather cooperates. Those things matter when you're temporarily removed from your normal life and routine.
Treatment isn't easy. Being away from home, without your phone and outside your normal environment, can be difficult. But Indiana Center for Recovery gives you an opportunity to step outside that environment, learn about yourself, work on what brought you there, and figure out what comes next.
I especially appreciate that treatment doesn't feel one-size-fits-all. They continually assess where you are, work closely with you, and help determine appropriate next steps for treatment, sobriety, recovery, or mental-health care.
There are communication and organizational details I would improve, but they don't outweigh the quality of the people, treatment, support, and overall experience.
For someone who genuinely wants help and is willing to participate in the process, I would absolutely recommend Indiana Center for Recovery. It earned five stars from me—not because everything is perfect, but because what matters most about the place is very good.

I can’t say how grateful I am for the Haven! I highly suggest to anyone who is out there struggling just like I was, if and when you hit your rock bottom and are ready for help…Allow this place to be the hands that lift you and carry you back to the top! The entire staff show love and compassion and treat everyone that walks thru their door as if you were there as family. As a community partner, it has been incredible to watch the work Never Alone has done to create a welcoming, supportive environment for adolescents during an incredibly important period in their lives. The investment in the facility itself, from renovations to amenities like the gym and movie theater, reflects a larger commitment to making young people feel valued, safe, and cared for.
What stands out even more is the programming and the people behind it. Never Alone is helping adolescents learn self-care, build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and understand that they do not have to internalize the stigma often associated with seeking help or going through a difficult chapter.
These young people are so much more than a brief period of struggle in their lives, and they deserve the opportunity to move forward without allowing that period to define who they are or who they can become. It has been meaningful to see a program committed not only to treatment, but to dignity, growth, and helping young people recognize their own potential.

Haven NLR Recovery Team PHP is one the most magnificent and effective programs I've been to over all my 30 years of suffering from addiction. The Team and / or Staff have the genuine care and concern for people seeking recovery. He is very helpful and always here for people. The place is perfect for people looking for quietness and relaxation, the scenery is beautiful. The people here are so caring, they attend to each patients needs immediately and with a smile. They truly care about each patient. The staff knows every patients name which made me feel comfortable and at home right away. All of my needs were met here anytime I needed anything. It was taken care of right away.

This place was an amazing time I was here for two weeks, the only complaint I have is that dinner was not very good, breakfast and lunch was typically amazing. They have their own food truck, mental health groups were small sizes and personalized to your needs.

I really enjoyed all the services provided at The Haven. All the staff was wonderful. I want to highlight the following people from each department because without the staff here I would have not exceled. In Client Care, Melanie and Jack took a vested interest in my recovery journey from start to finish. In nursing, Susan and Sierra were so sweet and were always there when I needed someone to listen and assisted me with anything I needed regarding my medication. Medical staff, Cindy was by far one of the best provider's I have ever met in a treatment setting. She was patient with me, addressed all my concerns and did not push any medication on me which was very much appreciated. Sabriya was an amazing recreational therapist and she found creative ways to bring me out of my shell and was always there when I needed someone to talk to. As far as facilitators, John and Michelle were absolutely top tier. The behavioral techs were amazing at the Haven. Bridget was wise beyond here years and became one of my main sounding boards during second shift. I also want to mention Angie, Tim, Cheena, and Zaahir who were instrumental in my recovery. I want to give a separate shout out to Amethyst who started working for the Haven during my stay. I was able to see her quickly adapt in her new role and how passionate she is to assist others, I can tell she has a drive for this and will most defiantly succeed. Last but certainly not least I want to recognize Rosie. She was the one who completed my intake. From our first interaction she promised my I was safe and she would be with me the whole way. Not only did she keep her promise but any time I panicked or had any concerns she was right there by my side. Even on her days off she checked in on me and let me know she was thinking of me and how I was doing in this brand new community. It's because of the dedication of these people and all the other staff that I was able to not only complete my treatment but also feel prepared and ready to tackle the real world, moving here to Jersey for a new start.

Is Simply Healthcare Accredited?

What Type of Plans Does Simply Healthcare Offer?
Simply Healthcare offers a variety of Medicaid and Medicare plans to meet the unique needs of people living in Florida. The Medicaid plans include Managed Medical Assistance and long term care plans if you come from a low income family or are elderly or disabled. The plans provide health coverage for essential services like physician visits and hospital care along with prescription drugs.
Simply Healthcare also offers several Medicare Advantage plans to people who qualify for Medicare. These Medicare Advantage plans combine Medicare Part A and Part B with additional coverage. Many include benefits like dental and vision coverage along with prescription drugs. You can also get a Silver Sneakers fitness membership and coverage for hearing tests and hearing aids.

The program offers a team approach to care and has been helping members since 2010 get access to services. When you qualify for the program you get a personalized treatment plan designed by a highly trained physician. You also work with one of the case managers to develop a customized plan to meet your health goals.
The plan benefits include those commonly found in Medicaid including medical care and vision care along with non emergency transportation services. The program also includes expanded benefits such as the Healthy Behaviors rewards program and the Taking Care of Baby and Me Healthy Rewards program.
