Williamsville Wellness saved my life. I had no idea what to expect coming into the program but the staff is amazing. I learned so much about myself. If you put in the work you will see the results. Tons of one on one therapy that goes a long way. Emma is the best!

They will take away any and all ideas or stigmas you may have had about a rehab facility. Everyone employed there is truly engaged to make your stay wonderful and to help you become a better version of yourself. I imagine most will find that the experience will open you up to more than just kicking an addiction. You will find your inner strength and identity and become the person you were always meant to be.

Edit Aug 2026: I still like this place & think it's better than most other clinics in the Richmond area. There have been some screwups over the years but mostly I've had good experiences. Things definitely also depend on your own attitude & your counselor, so switch counselors if you're not a match with yours. Original: This place has improved drastically since the new director has taken over approx 1 year ago. Its the only clinic that has ever shown me they actually care about their patients. Awful lady who gives you your meds at the window (Tunisia?) is gone, also so is awful front desk lady (Cheryl). I made a complaint about them 2 weeks after new director took over and didnt receive retribution or bad treatment they actually told me I was 100% right, I could not be any more right, what can they do to correct this? I couldnt believe it, as someone in recovery, I had never been treated this way (treated well!). There are many wonderful people now working at this place! Much better clinic than ANY of the others in the area

I've been going here for 6months and before that I was at the VA. There's a few differences between them both but most of all I can tell the Care. I have had 2 Counselors which is understandable considering the work load they have. Since the begining I have been happy and impressed how easy they made my transferring. I started just where I left off at the VA.The only thing I don't agree with or understand is when getting an increase u have to pick up for 3days before getting ur tak homes. I can understand this policy when u a starting out. But it doesn't make much sense after that. I can also say when there was a problem with my pick up (ther Mistake) my councler fixed and had all my bottles in 30mins. All I can say is If u work the program it works. Thank you

I would not be where I am today without the help of Recovery Unplugged. I had two 30 day visits with them back in 2019 before moving on to a 90 program in Arizona. Everyone was friendly and you felt like you actually mattered. The musical component of it all was life changing and is still a huge support in my life today. It's outside of the box recovery and if you are looking for a place to start, this is it. I'm coming on six years of sustained recovery and now hold a masters in divinity while thriving in Tucson. AZ. None of this would have been possible without Recovery Unplugged and I could not be more grateful for all they provided in early recovery.

The program and support is great, but once you finish no resources are provided. No follow-up with patients. They are all about profit. The providers can't even provide outside resources. This should be a warning sign they are out to make money.

I had a great experience and this was my 4th treatment center. It’s not a cookie cutter program and felt very comfortable and welcomed. Since I left I’m still involved with the stuff they do in after care and alumni activities which are great ways to stay connected to a lot of people who truly are still putting in the work to stay sober and a lot of us have become close friends and hang out a few times a week. It’s not uptight like a lot of places which is very helpful in early recovery, the music aspect is great even if you don’t play any instruments, and the housing setup is great as well. The rules are pretty simple. No vaping inside (at the center) and you can’t have your phone during group lol pretty reasonable. Otherwise there’s still a sense of normalcy. Highly recommend to anyone who’s ready to make that 1st big step! I was a bit apprehensive at first and couldn’t be more grateful that I did it. I haven’t felt this good in 20 years!

So I arrived at Mt.Regis like most others do,tired and confused, angry and feeling guilty, shameful and unworthy. I was seriously damaged inside, and out. All I knew for sure is that I wanted and needed to be, and do better with and for myself and my life. I suffer from PTSD, and I have been through some horrible ordeals in my lifetime. I had been neglectful, and neglected. My thoughts were all scrambled and my thought process was dangerously out of order. While I was in treatment I was treated with so much respect, and understanding that it almost felt surreal to me, especially because of the life I had been living, and the treatment I was being given by all those fake friends, and even some of my family members over the years. The staff at Mt.Regis made me feel welcome, and appreciated. They taught me how to find and collect myself. They gave me all the tools I needed to make a full recovery, and also how to use them. I applied those tools which were coping skills, trigger recognition, accountability, honesty, self recognition, goal setting, boundary setting, changes to my environment and appreciation for my peers who were facing and dealing with the same challenges as myself. By doing so, I found my true self, one known as a nurturer. I was assisted with every aspect of my recovery and treated like a person worthy of a second chance and the respect and understanding that can only be given by true friends, "Family". I say family because that's exactly what I gained during my treatment. I have formed true friendships and bonds that will stand the test of time, and a family that has been supportive of me from day one. I owe My.Regis all the respect and appreciation in the world. They truly saved my life, and I will never be able to repay them for that. I'm now in a step down program, and upon completion of it,and after a few more months of clean and sober living, I hope to return to Mt.Regis as a Recovery Coach.I see that as my way of paying this gift of life forward. I want more than most other things to be able to be for someone else exactly what Mt.Regis was to me,a Lifesaver. To anyone in need of help obtaining a clean and sober life, I highly recommend My.Regis for your support and recovery team. If you are serious about getting your life back in order, and rebuilding it from the bottom up there is no better place to do so and achieve greatness. Thank you Mt.Regis, and your amazing staff members. Yours truly, Brian Rose

If your looking for place to begin a healthy way of life, and pull out of the darkness of addiction, as I was, Mt.Regis is a great place to start a new chapter. Like anything in life you get out what you put into it, The staff is very knowledgeable, caring and empathetic as many were trapped in the cycle of addiction themselves, and truly can relate to what your going through. I Felt a peace the moment I surrendered the fear and walked through their doors, its a special place to me as it can be for you to.

Happy to share my own lyrics I created inspired by the powerful and determined feeling of Sia - The Greatest. I liked transforming the lyrics into something that reflects the dedication, strength, and supportive care that hospitals provide to so many patients. ❤️❤️‍🩹 My lyrics focus on how hospitals and healthcare teams continue working through challenging situations, including complex illnesses, serious injuries, and emergencies. I wanted to recognize the doctors, nurses, specialists, technicians, and all the other people who work together to support patients and families. 🚒🚑🚨🏥👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️🩺💉💊🩼🦼 I also wanted to capture the idea of “stamina” how hospital systems have to keep going through long days and nights because patients can need care at any hour. Even when situations are difficult, healthcare teams continue working, learning, communicating, and doing their best to provide supportive care. 💙🩵🤍 This isn't meant to suggest that hospitals can solve every medical problem or guarantee every outcome. Instead, it's my way of expressing appreciation for the dedication and teamwork involved in helping people through some of their most difficult moments. I had so much fun creating these lyrics! I hope this song gives people a little more appreciation for the many people who work tirelessly to care for patients. 🥰🏥🎶 “Virginia Hospital Center the greatest!!!”⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

I know each person has their own individual experience. When it comes to healthcare and seeing doctors, some are good, some are bad. Well, I experienced the good side of service. Yesterday, at Virginia Hospital Center, I had an in-and-out procedure, and from the time I walked in until the time I left, every individual that came across my path was pleasant, and I enjoyed my experience while I was there. My doctor was amazing. From the anesthesiologists to the nurses, everyone was pleasant. The front desk lady at check-in was also awesome. I'd have to say, if I do have to come back, which I hope I never do, I hope I can get the same service that I received yesterday. 😊 #Healthcare #Experience #Doctors #Nurses #Hospital

I want to express my deepest gratitude to every doctor, nurse, nursing assistant, therapist, chaplain, and staff member who cared for my beloved mom during her stay at VHC Health Arlington from June 14 until she peacefully passed away on July 8. My dad and I stayed by my mom’s side every single day throughout her hospitalization. We witnessed extraordinary compassion, kindness, patience, and professionalism shown by every member of your team. During the most heartbreaking time of our lives, you didn’t just care for my mom , you cared for our entire family. You comforted us, answered our questions, and made us feel supported every step of the way. A very special thank you goes to Dr. Malik. We will never forget your kindness compassion, patience, and the time you spent with us. You answered every question we had with kindness and helped us understand what was best for my mom. You guided us through incredibly difficult decisions with honesty, empathy, and respect. Your support meant more than words can express. I would also like to recognize Nurse Karim on the 3rd Floor, Room 329. Your kindness, gentle care, and compassion brought so much comfort to my mom and to our family. We will always remember the respect and dignity with which you cared for her. A very heartfelt thank you to Nurse Nhien, who was with us on the day my mom passed away. During one of the hardest moments of our lives, your kindness, compassion, and gentle presence brought us so much comfort. We will never forget your warmth and the peace you brought to us that day. To every nurse who cared for my mom on the third floor thank you. Whether you worked during the day or overnight, every one of you treated my mom with kindness, love, dignity, and respect. You made sure she was comfortable, spoke to her with compassion, and cared for her as if she were your own family. You also took the time to comfort my dad and me, and that is something we will never forget. Thank you to every physician, nursing assistant, therapist, chaplain, housekeeping staff, and everyone behind the scenes. Every one of you played a role in making my mom’s final days peaceful and surrounded by compassionate care. Although losing my mom has been the greatest heartbreak of my life, I find comfort knowing she was cared for by such extraordinary people. The third floor, especially Room 329, will always hold a special place in my heart. It became much more than a hospital room it became a place where my mom was surrounded by love, dignity, compassion, and exceptional care during the final chapter of her life. My dad my brother my sister law and I spent every day there with her, I stayed every night with my mom and those memories, along with the incredible people we met, will stay with us forever. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for caring for my mom and for caring for us. Your compassion made an unbearable time a little easier, and my family will be forever grateful. May God bless each and every one of you for the incredible work you do every day. You are truly angels in scrubs, and we will never forget you.🙏❤️ With heartfelt gratitude, Shimu and Family

They are the best substance abuse help i have ever had, and I have had my share. They always take care of me. They listen to me and its not just a cookie cut type of style where one style fits all its what fits me. I love it and I will always come here even when I'm done with my meds. Maybel always makes me laugh and it messes with my blood pressure all the time (that's my excuse). Dona always has on fresh kicks and I'm jealous. Stephanie will always make sure I'm good, making sure I take care of my self. She really cares which is rare in my experience. Fatima digs and makes me deal when I don't want when I know I need to. The team makes it work. That's why I would recommend this place again and again. I feel comfortable and really think its going to work out this time due to them all.

I moved into the Avalon house about 8 months ago. It has really become a home to me. There is a lot of women in one home but we all manage to get along rather well. The Avalon house has been a safe , supportive, clean environment. We operate similar to the Oxford model in that we hold one another accountable. Anastasia is a hands on housing manager but she gives you the room you need to be an adult and make the decisions for your recovery that you feel are right. If you follow the rules, and prove to her that you’re trustworthy then she affords you that trust and she is understanding. I truly believe that Avalon is one of the main reasons that I’ve been successful in my recovery thus far. It’s imperative in early recovery to surround one’s self with like minded people and Avalon is absolutely a home that you will find the resources you need to grow and thrive into the person you want to be. I absolutely suggest this home to anyone that is willing to put in the work to live a sober life. It’s all about what we put into it that determines what we get out of it.

Been living at one of Anastasia's houses for over a year, I came to this place via a treatment center and have stayed since. The structure and supportive environment of the house, its owners and its other tenants have helped me to achieve the longest amount of sober time I've had since I first picked up a bottle.

Avalon is simply the best. The owner, Anastasia, is so genuinely invested in the success of every member in her program. She holds people accountable while also offering grace. She stands her ground on what she believes but also takes the time to truly listen. She's involved, caring, and earnestly invested in the path of recovery for every person she meets. You won't leave this program without being impacted by what she and avalon has to offer. It develops structure, elevates discipline, and guides people from a state of "is this possible?" to a reality of unfathomable possibilities and complete change. Avalon doesn't just change lives, it saves them

I recently had hip replacement surgery at Parham Doctors' Hospital and was impressed by the facility and care I received. The nursing staff were very attentive, the private room was nice and the food options were good. The process from pre-registration and informative class to surgery and release went smoothly. I also received a follow-up call after a week at home to check on how I was doing. I definitely recommend Parham Doctors' Hospital for joint replacement based on my experience.

I have attended this clinic since it first opened. Throughout the years, it has taught me about "coming clean" with myself & exactly the purpose and perks of MAT. It has honestly saved my life time after time! About a year ago, I was assigned a new counselor, Ms Marilyn Green, and she has been BEYOND GREAT! I've never had a counselor who cares and supports me any more than she does! She is honest, up-front, and just shows that she CARES about me. Shout-out to whomever hired her!

I have had such a great experience at CFD McLean. The staff here are so incredibly supportive and have your back through everything. Amelia, Danielle, Amanda, Kathy, Tony, Lucia, Meta, and Matt deserve a special shout out. This was my first time in treatment and it has been a super emotional experience but all of my worries have been met with compassion and understanding. Not only do I feel like I have come so far in recovery for my ED, but I have found out so much more about my mental health in general and feel much better equipped to deal with stressors. In my experience, all of the staff truly do want what is best for the patients and their recovery. My only complaint has to do with corporate CFD not having urgency to approve things that need to be repaired or fixed. Thank you to everyone who at CFD McLean who was there to support during my stay. I also want to say that all of the staff is very approachable and I have not been mistreated or lied to. There was not a single time I went to staff with a complaint, trigger, or confrontation and left feeling unheard or unsupported.

I am elderly and do not like going places that are new to me. However, from registration, to giving up my rollator for wheel chair, to being taken to radiology waiting area, to getting a Venus dopplar of my leg to being wheeled back to reception area to pick up my rollator to being wheeled to my car, I have never met so many kind and friendly and helpful people. I have really bad arthritis in knees and back so walking, which I use to love to do, is extremely difficult and painful. Everyone, I met could not have been more kind or helpful.
