While asking for help and following through is not easy or necessarily fun, the team you work with is going to help you a lot. Sandstone helped me with the building blocks I needed to be alive today. This was my first time in treatment. Honestly, it completely changed my life. The bonds that I ve made in this place, the sober network I ve built, getting my psych meds right, the entire staff and facilitators- have all been such an extraordinary experience for me. I never understood the difference between just being sober/clean versus actually working a program/recovery. RU has helped me to understand that recovery goes beyond clean time- and it s about changing who you are for the better and continuing to progress as a person overall. I’ve been going here for 6months and before that I was at the VA. There’s a few differences between them both but most of all I can tell the Care. I have had 2 Counselors which is understandable considering the work load they have. Since the begining I have been happy and impressed how easy they made my transferring. I started just where I left off at the VA.The only thing I don’t agree with or understand is when getting an increase u have to pick up for 3days before getting ur tak homes. I can understand this policy when u a starting out. But it doesn’t make much sense after that. I can also say when there was a problem with my pick up (ther Mistake) my councler fixed and had all my bottles in 30mins. All I can say is If u work the program it works. Thank you

I love my counselor here at Pinnacle treatment center FCCR Radford. I feely counselor Lauren is amazing she’s does everything she can possibly do for. Shes supplies me with wonderful advice, wonderful resources and everything else a counselor should do. This is the only MAT program clinicnive ever been to but they have been amazing. If you are serious about your recovery they most definitely are going to help you. I’ve had a couple friends go to other clinics and from what was said FCCR is more strict and that’s so important. Especially if you are serious about your recovery and do really want to better yourself and your life. The office staff is amazing there. The nurses are wonderful. I’ve had 3 different counselors due to 2 of them moving on to better their lives, but every counselor I have had has been wonderful. Very helpful. Easy to talk to. I’ve been going here for 6 now. When BHG took over the old clinic, River City, there were growing pains as any company has going through a takeover. Then the pandemic happens during the takeover. Staff was leaving left & right because patients blamed them for literally EVERTHING. The patients refused to see the bigger picture and wanted to blame staff for following the pandemic rules. BHG was the only clinic in RVA excepting new patients during the pandemic because they genuinely want to SAVE LIVES! Somehow so many patients complained about so many new patients holding up lines. Anyway, with all of that being said, I’ve seen staff come & go BUT THE STAFF THEY HAVE NOW IS SO CARING & want nothing but THE best for us!!! Dr. Swainey is so down to earth once you see how much he relates to us, you’ll have so much respect for his compassion to help us that are stuck in this awful cycle. I could write a book on how much I’ve grown to adore the staff & they ALL deserve the absolute best in life. The entire staff is amazing. From the tine you walk in Jasmine makes you feel like you’re family. This hospital honestly and truly has the most caring professional staff, including nurses doctors and everyone else involved. I’ve been coming to this hospital for the last three years and the doctors and nurses are amazing. They are so sweet and you know you are in good hands. Once you are admitted I posted a bad rating in the emergency department. The emergency department is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered in my 40 years of life. You can read what happened during the check-in process in the ER. It’s just horrible and it does feel like a Third World country emergency department but again once you are admitted, or you have a schedule, these people are seriously the best I’ve ever had.

I moved into the Avalon house about 8 months ago. It has really become a home to me. There is a lot of women in one home but we all manage to get along rather well. The Avalon house has been a safe , supportive, clean environment. We operate similar to the Oxford model in that we hold one another accountable. Anastasia is a hands on housing manager but she gives you the room you need to be an adult and make the decisions for your recovery that you feel are right. If you follow the rules, and prove to her that you’re trustworthy then she affords you that trust and she is understanding. I truly believe that Avalon is one of the main reasons that I’ve been successful in my recovery thus far.
It’s imperative in early recovery to surround one’s self with like minded people and Avalon is absolutely a home that you will find the resources you need to grow and thrive into the person you want to be. I absolutely suggest this home to anyone that is willing to put in the work to live a sober life. It’s all about what we put into it that determines what we get out of it.

I had a total hip replacement and the entire experience was fantastic. The entire procedure took a day and the pain post procedure was minimal. The staff.

I was recently at this hospital for a stress test and echocardiogram. From the reception staff, to the nurses and any ancillary staff I encountered, everyone was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and professional. The nurses and technicians explained all testing before it was started and during testing, as well as giving me a chance to ask questions. I could not have asked for a more positive experience. ER staff gave me compassionate and professional care. Although at full capacity, I was given over and above care. ICU staff: Caylin, Peggy, Casie, Jim, Kathleen and Dr. Parikn were knowledgeable and thorough. I felt confident that I was receiving the best care. Elizabeth from food service was caring and ensured that the tray was within my reach. Housekeeping staff were pleasant and kept the room clean. Kristin from cardiology was patient and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and discussed alternative treatment options. Thank you for excellent care.

I did not stay sober after my stint at BTG but I sincerely believe BTG is the best place to get it done. I don’t consider my time/money spent at BTG to be a waste because I am a far more compassionate and virtuous person than I could have been otherwise.Its a vigorously honest program.

My fiance and myself have been in recovery for 5 years now and we made sure we told doctors and so forth. That we were moven last month and the lady in front desk wrote on pink paper I have and said that they would do doxie on the internet for this month so I called savida a couple times in the past week before we ran out of meds we have been on meds for 5 years now both of us .We both will be deadly sick and the lady at the front desk that keeps telling me i cant leave voice mails no where and nobody has and ex.We have been very serious about our recovery to be treated like this .We will go into seziours Luke what the world why can’t nobody return My calls first but then this lady is telling me that I can’t leave messages or anything Someone please help and call me

Intake employees were very nice and respectful and attentive to my needs as a patient, day to day staff seems to try for the most part to help patients but don’t really b understand what we day in and day out, one thing I would highly suggest though would be empa by ttwining

I drank everyday for 17 years following my return from service overseas. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs as well as the others I met in residential treatment. They definitely were able to reach the root of my alcohol addiction and help put forth a plan for my continued success. I am almost 3 months sober and truly haven’t felt better in my life. I believe God put these people in my path to help guide me. Thank you Sagebrush staff. If you do happen to go there, there is a program assistant that is ok at ping pong. Tell him you heard Bobby is the Sagebrush champion!

Came to the site to do a tour of the facility. Met the clinical director for the tour, would have given 5 stars but the front desk area was very messy and had a strange odor. This should be addressed soon since it is the first thing you see as you enter.

This is a greatClinic. Very clean, neat and orderly. The staff is very hospitable and welcomes you with open arms. They’re easy to talk to and very friendly and make you feel like you’re talking to one of your closest friend(s) that you can share anything with. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has Teenagers that’s going through any kind of mental issues and need someone to talk to. If there were some kind of way to give them a 10 star rating I would.

Birthing experience was excellent, entire staff was kind and attentive. I’d give it 5 stars, but the person in charge of taking information for the birth certificate/SS card got details wrong three times. Despite telling them this info, my child’s social security card had her middle name misspelled. Now I have to go through an unnecessary and lengthy process to correct her name when it could easily have been avoided.
