| An important part of the healing journey out of addiction can be finding new ways to experience joy and fulfillment in your life so your sobriety doesn’t leave a hole that you used to fill with drugs and alcohol. That’s the benefit of Banyan Castle Rock in Castle Rock, Colorado. An essential part of the recovery journey is discovering new ways | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was referred to Banyan by Sandstone, a facility in Denver. Originally from Northern Colorado, I was hesitant at first. However, upon my arrival, I was impressed by the dedication, professionalism, and exceptional therapists. While there are some logistical improvements that a new company like Banyan can make, they still deserve five stars for their impactful work in transforming lives. I arrived homeless and hopeless, despite minor issues typical of new facilities, I experienced significant success. I left with an apartment and received excellent therapy recommendations. No other facility offers a residential curriculum like this one. The director is passionate about what they do and takes the time to converse and give examples in Laymans terms to help the patients understand exactly what is going on with their physical body and brain. To see your director interact with humility is the most endearing feeling to people that may be fearful to be inquisitive of the care. Special shout out to CASS & SCOTT all therapist are highly intelligent and create a diverse group therapy everyday is different. Keep up the great work, continue to promote inclusion and diversity, and to take people in strife and make them a success rate to society. Thank you everyone at Banyan! Best, Brineth.

I cannot say enough wonderful words to describe this center. I LOVED every single employee there. Every single one treated me with genuine kindness and compassion. Detox is rough on some people and they never ever made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. I stayed for 21 days and was so sad to leave. Mixed emotions. I made many new friends that were also in the program. But the therapists and nurses all have a special place in my heart. Much laughter, many tears (I’m an emotional person) and the feeling of finally finding a safe space where all of the things that I share stay there. My therapist still calls to check on me, love Mariah! My nurse practitioner Savannah, always listened to my questions and needs with such sincerity, I am truly blessed to have met her as well.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don’t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. I now have a great relationship with my family, a true connection with my friends and most important I have a life worth living now. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

Things I loved Sandstone Care
1) Group therapy, and learning new skills.
2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy.
3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I’ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions.
I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

When we decided to send my son to Sandstone it was by far the hardest decision of my life. With that said, in our case it was the correct decision. It was a hard experience for both him and us, but he said the staff truly cared for the kids and their recovery. It showed upon his return and we got our son back. It’s been a year since he was sent to Sandstone. It hasn’t always been easy, we have had setbacks, but they have been rare. He is currently in a leadership role in his sobriety group and is doing well in school. He has also been part of several panels about teen substance abuse. After researching several residential facilities it became apparent Peaks in Colorado Springs stood out from the others. We were specifically looking for mental health treatment. From start to finish at their facility there was always involvement in what was going on, (with my adult daughter s permission of course). Having caring and knowledgeable people to help through an incredibly hard time was needed and so appreciated. Through different stages of her care there was visitation, phone calls and weekly Zoom type meetings where families of clients could talk together with a therapist about highs, lows or concerns. The hardest thing to do was feeling like you are handing over your loved one at such a vulnerable time and not knowing what s going on. Peaks has so much compassion in knowing that. IT'S A YES. JUST GO.Unfortunately, an issue at home meant my stay ended early - there was a tragic miscommunication amongst staff the day before as well, which they handled with the utmost integrity. It was certainly the only snafu in my experience, and it rightfully belongs in the "sh*t happens" category. Staff had the humility and courage to own the mistake, and that willingness alone was enough to know that I had come to a place full of people who are truly the real deal when it comes to mental health.I left because I had to - not because I wanted to. In fact, I was planning on extending 30 days to complete their PHP, but life called me back home.Make no mistake - were it not for having to leave to handle something horrific back home (I'm from the other side of the country), I would still be there. I woke up this morning aching to go back to the safety, the compassion, the grace, and the mercy of Peaks. The staff are beyond wonderful. They sat with me through the darkest day of my life, and did nothing but love me. I can't describe how supported I felt. I could literally *feel* the empathy of the clinicians, nurses, and medical providers who sat with me and held space through the worst two panic attacks I've ever had.My housemates and I, and especially my roommate, wove a web of support and belonging I had never experienced. (Prior to admission, I literally could not get out of bed or do anything remotely social - I was even finding it hard to leave the house). I had the BEST time being part of a community, which gave me new confidence, and reassurance that I could get back into the game of life.I'm a therapist myself and I would 100% recommend Peaks as a committed, compassionate, caring healing space of the very highest quality. These people have their sh*t together.I have never encountered a place full of people who truly WANT to be there for you. Imagine being asked multiple times per day by staff if there is anything you need to feel supported. Being surrounded by people who know and care whether you've eaten that day, how you slept last night, and whether you need anything else to feel safe was pretty mind-boggling.I would trust Peaks to treat my nearest and dearest with zero hesitation. It will be the only mental health treatment center to which I refer my clients. Thank God for Peaks.Certainly I will forget to name some of the incredible staff, but Faith, Kinnley, Clint, Kara, Holly, Angela, Dr. Nichols, Sasha, JUDY, Cindy, Kyle, Pema, Julia, Chef, Taylor, Tara, Logan (x2), Heather, Eric, Marissa, the various therapists who led group, Bobby, Max in admissions, and Rachel - thank you for giving me a home, and at long last, an accurate mirror. Thank you also for tolerating my dirty blue hair and my massive disco fruit snuggie. I miss everyone already.Although I only got to stay for 10(ish) of the 30 days I had planned, the changes in me are real. I came into Peaks as a 47 year-old adult child, and left as a grown-up.Thank you, Peaks, for turning me back into me. Thank you for restoring my dignity. I will carry a piece of you in my heart always with immense gratitude. There is something spiritual in the particles and energy at this place that truly brought me back to life.

Zinnia overall was a great experience! I encountered many strengths and a few faults. The faults came under scrutiny in the upper management role. I completely understand that Zinnia is a wellness facility and a business. The personal experience, to me was wellness was priority one, in the case of facilitators, techs and nurses. This was not the case in the roll of Director of Operations at the Singer Island facility. This individual showed little compassion and it was obvious that business outranked wellness.Regards,Bob S. I have struggled with mainly meth addiction for 8 years or so. I was feeling so sick everyday. My body felt toxic, the meth wasnt giving me energy anymore, I was depleted. I was craving nature and nutrition.
I have been desiring to come to innerbalance for over 6 years now. I didn't have the money then. I went to 2 other rehabs before this one covered by medicaid instead. I honestly am thankful for all 3 of the rehabs I have been too. I have learned so much and after completing innerbalance and understanding all my underlying health issues and learning how to heal I finally believe I can move foward past addiction. I am so thankful and blessed to have gotten to come here. I haven't felt this good for a longtime. I feel joy again.

Continuum was able to help me break through to the heart of my addiction and trauma by connecting with others in my IOP group that I now consider family. George is the best therapist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He has shown me ways to cope with not just daily struggles, but the deeper issues that have had long term effects that sometimes I am not aware of. By creating a place of safety and comfort, I am now able to say I do not fear recovery or connection with others anymore - and that is 100% due to George and Continuum. I arrived at All Points North in November, feeling lost and hopeless. After spending four months in another rehab, I had little faith in my future and even less confidence in my ability to change. But over the next two months, that began to shift. All Points North takes a modern and holistic approach to recovery, focusing on healing not just addiction but the person as a whole-mentally, spiritually, physically, and socially. The treatment process is highly individualized, tailored to meet each client s unique needs rather than following a rigid, one-size-fits-all model. Unlike other programs, APN listens to its clients and creates a personalized plan for both inpatient treatment and aftercare, ensuring lasting success beyond their stay. What stood out most was the staff s unwavering commitment to empowerment rather than dependency. They didn t carry me through recovery but instead provided me with the tools to help myself while offering constant compassion and support. On top of that, the hospitality, therapists, security, and overall amenities at APN are truly best in class, making my experience both comfortable and transformative.

Choice House gave me my life back. The staff are great and have all been in the same place and are in recovery too. I loved the focus on activity and community building. The individual therapy was also greatly beneficial. I stayed the three months and decided to do the sober living program. I can t recommend it more. I was a client at The Foundry Treatment center in 2018 and to this day my experience and knowledge I acquired at "The Ranch" is invaluable. I have had my fair share of struggles since, as many of us do in recovery. That said, without the tools I obtained from the clients to the techs, clinical staff all the way up to the Clinical Director, I would be as good as dead. I learned patience, self-care, and most importantly forgiveness. The simplest things such as being able to be mindful and practice awareness are vital to staying on track. Understanding your own red flags and being comfortable and open to vulnerability were instilled upon me in this program and I am forever in debt. They took an approach to treatment I had never experienced. We were more than just a number being herded around. They fought for us and our recovery. I wish everyone got the opportunity to have this experience and at the drop of a hat I would go back to visit and thank each and every one working there. If you are struggling or know anyone struggling do whatever it takes to get to this facility. It will change your life. Thank you, Foundry family.- MO

Healing Pines was our fourth attempt at rehab for a loved one, and to be honest, I came in worn down, skeptical, and guarded. From the very first call with Paul, something felt different. He gave me over an hour of his time across two conversations. In a space that often feels transactional, speaking directly with the founder instead of a sales rep made all the difference. Paul s patience, clarity, and steady confidence set a new tone for me right out of the gate. What sets Healing Pines apart for us is their Dual-Diagnosis approach. Their tailored, thoughtful program focuses on healing the underlying pain, not just managing the surface behavior. And just as importantly, they actively involve families in the process. Sunday visits to the ranch and Monday virtual support sessions helped me feel connected and supported in ways I hadn t before. The ranch's setting is beautiful, the facilities are top-notch, and the staff are genuine. Everything you find online from Paul s intro video, to the reviews and resources listed on their website accurately reflects what you ll experience here: care, intention, and real hope.I wouldn t wish the journey of addiction on anyone, but if you or someone you love is facing it, I can wholeheartedly say Healing Pines is a place of real possibility and healing.Thank you, Paul and the entire Healing Pines team. I first would like to say this is not a reflection on the professionals that work here. They are all amazing. Calling to get a hold of your provider is a different story. First I go through the main office, go through the series of questions on who I am, my son, my address just to be transfered to where I get a voice mail saying to leave message. Who knows when I'll get a call back and if I miss that call back I have to go through the process all over again. It never was like this before covid. I spoke to a person straight from that office. If it wasn't for my sons doctor I would have found someone new. Oh and don't even get me started with billing. She has no clue what I'm talking about and I just wanted receipts sent to my email.

I recently completed my treatment at Mountain Springs Recovery, and it was wonderful. The facility is a short drive from the mountains, and the range is visible from multiple areas which makes for a great backdrop for anyone seeking recovery.
My flight was delayed the day of my intake, so I didn't get into Colorado Springs airport until after midnight. The staff still happily picked me up from the airport and was very prompt about completing documentation necessary. Every one of the BHTs were so kind and helpful. I had only positive experiences with all of the BHTs, and all of them are very kind. Not just from a professional standpoint, but also just good company in case I was waiting for meds, provider, etc. I will give special shoutout to Ashley and Zach, for they both have incredible energy and always stay positive.
The facility is what it is described as, and the only downfall is that in the winter months, you do need to pack accordingly because a lot of the walkways in between buildings are outside and uncovered. All in all, it's a very easy place to navigate because the buildings travel in a circle from the front desk area.
I also really love this place because I didn't have to disconnect. I work remotely, and I couldn't find a good time to take a good length of time out of my schedule without feeling completely halted in my business. And while I understand some other treatment centers restrict internet and phone access to "make clients fully immerse in the program," I do not believe that to have been the case at MSR. With keeping the connection to the outside world both professionally and personally, it actually made my experience better because it prevented me from getting stir-crazy and made communications and planning aftercare a lot easier. IOP was planned with my case manager there, but determining specific groups, locations, and other personal plans for recovery and support, I liked having the available internet access to be able to structure my life after leaving.
I cannot recommend this place enough. John, the director, is always so on top of operations and was very prompt about addressing any concerns or tasks that needed to be completed. If I brought something up to staff, they all helped where they could, even if it was keeping proficient communication between staff turn-overs. If it wasn't being addressed as quickly as was necessary or I had further questions, it was a well-known statement that you could always bring it up at the community meeting, or above all else, "Talk to John." I've never had this level of interaction with someone in that high of a position, whether it be a dean, a boss, etc. To have him be so amicable and helpful was a great resource.
I could give an individual shoutout to all of the facilitators for different reasons, but there are two that really stand out to me. Both Al and Xavier are incredible facilitators, have their own experiences, and have a lot of wisdom about what they are teaching outside of the material/topic that they were discussing on any given day. I've talked to both of them by interacting in groups and outside of groups. Their energies are so consistent, so it's easy to see their genuineness of character.
