The staff truly cares about their patients and provided care that met my needs. The whole program exceeded my expectations and I can't thank everyone enough for the impact they made on my life and mental health. Deciding to seek treatment was not an easy thing for me but I am so glad I chose Footprints to Recovery. It wasn't all just sitting around doing therapy all day and we got the chance to do yoga, art and music therapy, and also go outdoors with Adventure Recovery. Footprints was an absolutely stellar facility to go to after completing inpatient addiction treatment. The staff were all very patient and understanding during my biggest ups and downs during treatment, and I never felt any judgement even at my lowest points. Recovery is such a serious rock to carry but the groups and providers helped me collect the tools necessary to be able to tackle this journey on my own. The nursing team was incredibly helpful in finding me medications that are actually helping my mental health and addiction cravings. I've had more success in the three months I got to share with Footprints than the years I've worked with my primary care and therapist. Andrew with case management is hilarious and hugely helpful with resources and managing work and life alongside treatment. Anika is an incredible therapist and I am sad to leave her care, but know she will continue to do amazing things for other clients. If you are struggling with any substance abuse, I highly recommend seeking help with Footprints. They will absolutely get you back on your feet.

I've been a fan of Jaywalker Lodge for years, and my respect for what they've built has only grown over time. As a fellow behavioral health professional who has referred clients to Jaywalker and spent time on the ground in Carbondale with their team, I've had a front-row seat to what this program actually produces, and it's the real thing. Let me start with the obvious: the location is extraordinary. Carbondale is one of the most beautiful places in this country, and Jaywalker leverages that setting in a way that actually matters clinically. Their clients aren't just staring at mountains, they're experiencing all that incredible place has to offer (skiing, mountain biking, etc.). That connection to the outdoors isn't a selling point, it's part of how men rediscover what it feels like to be alive. But what makes Jaywalker truly exceptional isn't the scenery, it's the community. Carbondale has embraced this program in a way I've never seen in any other treatment market. You can't walk through town without running into an alumnus who stayed, built a life, found work, and put down roots. I've seen this firsthand - walking those streets, talking with people who came for treatment and never left because they finally had something worth staying for. That kind of living proof is rare and powerful. I've sat with their clinical and leadership team, seen how they operate up close, and walked away more impressed each time. Their communication is exceptional, their collaboration with families is thoughtful, and the sustained recoveries I've seen in referred clients speak for themselves. This is a team that isn't content with where they are, they're always evolving, always raising the bar, and they hold themselves to a standard the rest of the industry should be studying. The leadership operates with genuine integrity. That's not something you can fake long-term, and it's certainly not something you can fake in person. Jaywalker has been proving it for years. I tell people this often and I mean it sincerely: if I ever needed treatment myself, Jaywalker Lodge would be my first call.

Jaywalker saved our son and helped us to show up in the way he needed us in recovery. Despite being healthcare professionals, we had no idea how to support our son. He is sober and married with 3 beautiful sons just 5 years later. I was at this facility in 2023. Katie was so helpful to me and every single staff member was very supportive and accommodating to everyone. I highly recommend APN to anyone struggling with mental health and other issues related to it. I’ve been clean since I was there for my month long treatment.

Peaks will forever hold a place in my heart. If you are looking for help with depression, addiction, alcoholism, trauma, anxiety, body image issues… you name it. This is the place that will not only help you, they will LOVE you through it! From the moment I called, I felt loved and cared for. Angela - You are an Angel! Angela kept in contact with me several times a day until I was on a plane to CO. As soon as I got there, Katie picked me up from the airport, she was a doll! She made me feel so comfortable going in. I met with a few staff members, and stayed in “detox” for 2 days. When I first got to the Women’s house, I met Miss. Pat - She’s the most incredible woman I’ve ever met. I’ll never forget her. EVER. I went in for Trauma and Depression. Within 7-10 days, I could tell my life was changing. I had never felt this good in my life. Chris, Bobbie, and his team hired a staff that is like nothing I would have ever imagined. From the Director (Sara), Doctors, Therapists/Counselors (Kate, Madi, Shayna, Sam), PA’s (Alyson), Gym Instructors (Nicole and Dan), my caseworker, Tyler, the chef, Taylor, and the staff (Miss. Pat, Cassie, Leah, Kayla, Mariano, Julie, and Cheyanne), - They are all AMAZING! Everyone has a heart of gold! Each week in group they discuss a topic. The topics discussed are LIFE CHANGING! There are things in life that you think you know, you don’t. I learned so much in group and I’ll hold onto that info for life. I also met with my Therapist/Counselor Kate, 2-3x a week. Kate is part of the reason I am who I am today. ❤️ I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a place that will truly save your life, Peaks is where you want to go. I highly recommend Aspen Ridge to anyone who needs help with recovery. I have been in recovery for years, and Aspen Ridge is my favorite facility out there. Unlike many others, Aspens Ridge does NOT force any specific modality on folks, such as AA or NA. Many other rehab facilities are 12 step-based, which I haven’t found to be helpful. Aspend Ridge helps folks find the program that works before for each individual, such as SMART recovery, Dharma Recovery, or 12 steps. The therapists and instructors at Aspen Ridge are also all tremendously helpful and motivated. Highly recommended to anyone in need!

I went to the IOP program and had a very uplifting experience. Councilors are top notch. I believe this because I have been a part of other programs and the group settings here are all inclusive where I felt everyone had ample time to express feelings and issues safely. Well run meetings and varied topics. Another wonderful aspect is the on going on line family member meetings where loved ones have great opportunity to share and learn! Also all recovery meetings weekly on line meetings for us as patients/ clients. My own recovery is going well with 70 sober days now giving me a renewed sense of inner peace and joy. God bless.

Sandstone Care took my Sister in with open arms of kindness, grace and gave her a sense of peace she hasn't had in a very long time. The care she received will reveal itself in time. This place saved my life, in particular, the INCREDIBLE staff that talked me out of leaving early. Naj was an INCREDIBLY healing nurse, along with Amanda and Julie who stayed with me during my darkest period in my experience at this facility. I’d also like to express my gratitude for Brea, the case manager, for 1) being super sweet, and 2) setting me up with the after care I needed to maintain a successful journey in my sobriety. I went here two years ago and I still miss sometimes when life gets hard and it was an amazing program. The thing I liked about NDF was that if you want to be successful in recovery they don’t baby you but they also treat you like a person. every session and handout was different, interesting, and helped me learn more about my disease, helping me heal. The staff put a lot of time and energy into giving a shit about my success in recovery, if you care about yourself your family and your future they will help you and they don’t forget you when you leave. They have an alumni program that is getting off the ground but is the best part of my week that I have for myself as a mom I really need that. I owe my life to the caring of these people!!!

I struggled with early life growing up in the small town in Wisconsin. Didn’t realize how bad it was until I was hopelessly hanging on by a thread. Nearby recovery resources helped me discover Choice House, and that is where my life really began to change in unimaginable ways. I worked through early recover here; spent three months inpatient at the lookout, and four months in outpatient sober living while transitioning into a new unimaginable fulfilling life. If you hit that bottom in your life, This is the place to find yourself. It is a spiritual program with staff that been through the same experiences in life that are there with open arms. No one is better than anyone there. We're all in this together. I'm not from here so I didn't know what to expect but I was welcomed with open arms. I’ve had a great deal of exposure to recovery-focused businesses/programs and this was by far my best experience. Betty Jo, Alisha, and Ceana at the Fort Collins office truly understand the assignment, and treat everyone with respect and genuine care. They create an atmosphere that is both comfortable and solution-focused, which is a very difficult thing to do - a labor of love to say the least. Healing Pines Recovery truly gave our family a second chance, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. My husband entered Healing Pines Recovery suffering from complex PTSD caused by both childhood trauma and 31 years of military service. Like many veterans, he had turned to alcohol as a way to cope with the pain. By the time we started searching for help, our family was at a breaking point. We knew that if he didn't receive intensive treatment, it could very well mean the end of our family unit. We first looked at options through the VA, but unfortunately, we were not offered any solutions that addressed his specific needs. We also explored recovery centers in Oklahoma, where we live, but most felt like sterile hospital environments and primarily focused on hard drug addictions. We were searching for something more personal, more therapeutic, and better suited to treating trauma alongside alcohol dependency. That is when I discovered Healing Pines Recovery in Elizabeth, Colorado. From my very first inquiry, I knew this place was different. Lindsay from Intake and Compliance contacted me almost immediately. She was incredibly compassionate, understanding, and reassuring during one of the most difficult times in our lives. Her kindness and professionalism helped calm many of my fears and gave me confidence that my husband would be in good hands. One of the things that stood out most about Healing Pines was its men's-only program and the fact that they intentionally limit the number of clients to just eight men at a time. This allows the staff to truly get to know each individual and dig deep into the work that is necessary for lasting healing and sobriety. The setting itself is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by Colorado's pine trees and stunning scenery, creating an atmosphere that promotes reflection, healing, and growth. While I cannot personally speak to the counselors my husband worked with every day, I can speak to the results. The difference in him is nothing short of remarkable. He came home with healthy coping skills for managing his PTSD, a renewed sense of purpose, and a commitment to living a sober life. He no longer relies on alcohol to manage his struggles, and he has built meaningful friendships with other men in recovery who continue to support one another. Another wonderful resource is Healing Pines' CRAFT program for loved ones. The virtual weekly meetings provide support, education, tools, and a safe place for family members to connect with others who understand the challenges of loving someone in recovery. It has been incredibly valuable for me as well. Most importantly, Healing Pines Recovery helped give my children their father back and gave me the husband I married back. For that, I will be forever grateful. If you are looking for a recovery program that treats the whole person—not just the addiction—and provides individualized care in a supportive, healing environment, Healing Pines Recovery is truly exceptional.

My name is CJ and I am from Nebraska. Before Healing Pines, I was a shell of myself from using opiates and especially 7-OH. I was using just to feel normal, watching my life slip away—relationships destroyed and any hope I had left completely drained. I was too scared to live and too scared to die. I felt completely alone, like no one understood how deep it had gotten, and I honestly didn’t believe recovery was possible for someone like me anymore. What made Healing Pines different from day one was how personal everything felt. This isn’t a big institutional place where you’re just another intake number cycling through and endless . It’s a small, intimate program on a peaceful 40-acre ranch in Elizabeth, Colorado with wide-open views that calm your mind even on the hardest days. The fresh air, the quiet mornings, the cabin-style lodge, and the amazing gym—it all created this sense of safety I hadn’t felt in years. The emphasis on physical health was huge for me. Between playing pickleball , the amazing gym equipment, healthy meals and getting expert advice from a nutritionist...I started liking what I saw in the mirror for the first time in years. The staff genuinely changed everything for me. Paul and the whole team didn’t just follow a script—they took the time to really know my story, my triggers, and what I was carrying from back home in Nebraska. The amazing therapist worked with me one-on-one in ways that dug into the root causes, not just the surface addiction. Whether it was during those rough early moments, the group sessions where I finally opened up, or the outdoor activities that helped me reconnect with myself, they were right there with real compassion and zero judgment. They made me feel like a brother, not a patient. For the first time, I wasn’t rushing through a program—I was actually healing at my own pace. Healing Pines didn’t just get me clean. It rebuilt my hope from the ground up. I left with real tools, a clearer mind, stronger relationships with my family back in Omaha, a real community of like-minded people, and a sense of purpose I thought was gone forever. The brotherhood I built with the other guys there still keeps me going. If you’re stuck in the cycle with opiates, 7-OH, or anything that is stealing your time and happiness like I was, and you’re scared or skeptical—please give this place a real shot. It’s not magic, but it felt pretty close for me. Healing Pines Recovery saved my life in the most personal, caring way possible. I’m forever grateful.

Raleigh House The Center did amazing things for me. There were some issues with things being broken and the food being repetitive but what they gave me was well worth that! I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to for Narconon Colorado. This place genuinely helped change my life. Even though I didn’t complete the full program and ended up leaving early, the time I spent there still had a huge impact on me. The staff actually cared and treated me like a person, not just another case. They gave me tools and a different mindset that I still carry with me today. I came in at a really low point in my life, and even in the short time I was there, I started to see things differently and believe that I could do better for myself. No program is perfect, and leaving early was my own decision, but I can honestly say this place helped save my life. It gave me a foundation I didn’t have before, and for that I’m grateful. If you’re serious about wanting to change, this is a place that can help you take those first steps.

DWR has been amazing for my mental health healing. This place saved my life. It truly is a home away from home where they help women by welcoming them without judgement and with such kindness. I would not be the woman I am today without the support from Alex, Rachel, Lilly, and Crystal. In July 2025, I started IOP at DWR which was the best decision I ever made. Their staff are supportive and extremely knowledgeable; special shoutout to Rachel, Amanda, and Crystal for all of their endless support! During IOP, I relapsed more than once and was never treated differently because of it. Instead of criticizing my decisions, DWR provided me with the support and safe space to work through my relapses while still holding me accountable. I have now been sober just over one year and even though I am the one who makes the decision to continue my sobriety everyday, I owe DWR for giving me the tools and confidence to do so. Thank you DWR for saving my life when I had almost given up and helping me create a life worth living.

My therapy session is with Vernon to help with my PTSD. Vernon is a very good Therapist and I appreciate the short time spent with him every few weeks. I would recommend him to anyone. I have been diagnosed with PTSD by two physchiatrists. In the past year. I had to be interviewed for 30 to 45 minutes by a paid psychiatrist, paid by Meadowlake Airport Association because the president of the association tried to run me over and kill me on my property. During mediation he told the judge I do NOT have PTSD. I guess my nightmares for the past four years, every night of the incident must be a figment of my imagination. Funny how money can change a diagnosis. Vernon listens to me and gives me ideas to help. Recently I was told by my Orthopedic Surgeon that, after four surgeries, there was nothing else that could be done. So now I am crippled for life. Adds to my problems.

I had a great experience at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about providing excellent patient care. The doctors, nurses, and support staff were attentive, compassionate, and took the time to answer questions and make me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The level of care and support I received was exceptional, and it was clear that patient well-being is a top priority here. The facility is clean, modern, and well-maintained. One thing that really stood out was the convenience of having a great cafeteria and a Starbucks right inside the building. It made a stressful situation much more comfortable for both patients and visitors. I highly recommend HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge to anyone looking for high-quality healthcare and outstanding customer service.

I’ve read some other comments on here and I sincerely don’t at all share in the same experience with staff. All the staff I have encountered old and new staff, have always been kind, helpful, and encouraging. I’ve had a sick kiddo since 2019 and there hasn’t been a time that I’ve come to dose that they don’t ask how my child is with genuine concern for his well being and the well being of my family. I had Julie as a counselor for years and the clinic helped me get tell-counseling just to ensure I could meet all my expectations and still be there for my son and be able to work full time. I’ve been clean since the day I started and so I’ve never had an issue and they’ve never given me issue, even when I repeatedly have missed quarterly assessments because I’m stuck at work, they just laugh a bit, give me a hard time every so often and reschedule me, nothing but love and holding me accountable in a kind and respectful manner. Some people say MAT is just trading one addiction for another. I will always disagree, it’s trading a costly addiction (not just financially) for the freedom to get your life back together, to be of sound and sober thought, and go back to be a contributor to society rather than a burden and staying in a victim mentality. I believe in you, if you’re reading this. Treatment saved my life, so if you’re reading these comments trying to find out if it’s right for you, here’s what I will say. With MAT, you know it’s safe and where it’s coming from. You’ll be sober and not running from an inevitable withdrawal that you know is coming and leads you to do unimaginable things to avoid it even if it hurts people you love. Try it, if you try it and it’s still not right for you, then at least you made the attempt, but don’t let a couple bad comments about this clinic stop you from getting the help you need. The stigma around addiction needs to stop. No one is immune to it, NO ONE! I’ll repeat again, my experience with all of the staff from the UA man who is the sweetest most helpful guy, to the nurses had been nothing but positive and supportive. The only time I’ve seen an issue is with those not truly caring about getting sober and STAYING SOBER. You can’t come in and expect to just get a quick fix in between highs. That’s not what this is for and they will not enable you, that’s because I truly believe they genuinely want to see people get better. That’s my two cents, take it or leave it. I owe my life to New Seasons and I am thankful I took that first step, as hard as it was, I found a group of people within the clinic so kind and we all support eachother, listen to eachother and encourage one another, those of us who are truly trying. I hit 7 years sober on July 18th, 2025. And I am damn proud of that. I lost my brother to fentanyl in 2022, so again, even if you believe it’s trading one thing for another, the trade off is still knowing where it came from. My brother didn’t, and he died for it because he was too embarrassed to get help. Please, try it! All good vibes and love to anyone reading this trying to decide what to do next…I’ve been there. You CAN DO THIS!

I have been going to this clinic for awhile now. You get out of it what you put Into it. I personally don't have any support system or family to help me with anything but Tara at New Season's has been amazing. You can tell she really really cares about her clients and definitely goes above and beyond to try to help in anyway she can. I don't think I'd still be going if it wasn't for her and now I don't feel so lost and alone either. They have made alot of changes there I believe people should give this place a try now if they've gone there before and had a negative experience.
