A family member of mine discovered Jaywalker from a friend. I had no concept of sobriety and had spent the better half of two decades struggling with drug abuse and alcoholism. I was ready to give up. I walked through the doors of Jaywalker Lodge in August 2024 and never looked back. Jaywalker gave me all of the tools, support, and motivation to give my life purpose again and LIVE. I would challenge anyone who struggles with this disease to find a better treatment center. It will work for you, if you want it.

This was a once in a lifetime experience I never would in a million years have expected I would have and love. Yes it’s a rehab and is a big commitment, most notably the financial aspect. Yet it was totally worth the investment both in terms of all the money me and my family spent for me to go through yet even more so the time. I had gone to one treatment center before I ended up doing Jaywalker just over a year ago. The difference was I really felt the love and support from pretty much everyone involved with Jaywalker from the time that I toured throughout my stay. This is for me the most important part of what speaks volumes about Jaywalker. From the staff to the alumni program to the guys I went through with it doesn’t get much better. All I have to say really is if you give yourself over to the program and allow it to work it can prove life changing. I was beyond lucky that I happened to have grown up and still be living in the Aspen area where Jaywalker is located. I am forever grateful that I finally came to terms with my addiction and got myself checked in and stuck with it. I never gave sobriety a real thought whatsoever until my life blew up in my face. Over sixteen months later having stuck with it my life is so much better than I could have imagined and it’s all thanks to Jaywalker. The biggest thing I would say about Jaywalker is if you do it and get through your time you’ll be a part of an amazing alumni program that for me is like an extended family of mine. So many of these guys for me are like brothers at this point and it would have never happened had I not just grown the hell up and confronted my problems. I could rave all day long about Jaywalker suffice it to say I highly recommend it.

Staff was excellent in providing me assistance in my treatment and always was welcoming. Tim always was supportive and is a great friend to have during this challenging period. As a military veteran footprints was able to assist in the challenges that military personnel face during their time serving and have served.

Footprints to Recovery was imperative to growth through my recovery journey. When I first came to Peaks, I was broken, depressed, hopeless, and completely lost. I truly didn’t believe things could get better. But my experience at Peaks changed my life in ways I never could’ve imagined. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a community of supportive, caring people who genuinely wanted to see me grow. I built friendships and connections that will last a lifetime, with people who stood by me through every high and low of my recovery journey. The groups and therapists were absolutely incredible, I learned more here than I ever have in any other program. The structure at Peaks helped me build consistency, confidence, and real progress. The staff went above and beyond every single day, they truly cared about us as people, not just clients. Even the food was amazing (shoutout to the chefs, you made every meal feel special!). The activities were another huge part of my healing, basketball, pickleball, volleyball courts right on property, yoga, art supplies, gym equipment, hikes twice a week, church, Recovery Dharma, and so much more. There was always something positive and grounding to be a part of. I am endlessly grateful for my time at Peaks Recovery. This program gave me my life back and gave me the tools, support, and hope I needed to keep moving forward. Thank you to everyone who made my experience so meaningful and life-changing. ❤️

I love Red Rock Recovery! The Alumni community led by Cook is very active. There is no shortage of fun Sober activities! Recovery is not boring at this place!

I’ve been to a lot of different treatment centers, sober livings, therapists, etc over the years and now work in the industry myself. I attended the CMHS IOP after struggling with a depressive episode and was super impressed by the professionalism, organization, and kindness of every staff member I interacted with. Molly Barth is super educated and compassionate. The groups felt very intentional and well-planned. Definitely recommend!

Receiving treatment at Inner Balance was a trans formative experience. I experienced healing from all perspectives and was given the tools to create a sober life. They offer my mind body and spirit healing to understand why I was using drinking as a primary coping mechanism. I have been able to use the tools I learned everyday. I have created a journey of inward love for myself. The staff was so inspirational, so relate able, and facilitated my ability to open my eyes to my innate wisdom. My biggest nugget was from the spiritual neurologist “90% of the thoughts we have are the same ones we had yesterday”. The only person I am responsible for is myself, and I am proud to be 13 years sober. Thank you Inner Balance I couldn’t have done it without your help with such eases and grace.

Counselors are great. Office staff very helpful. Program is nutrition based and the meals are very good and very healthy. You will feel great physically and mentally if you follow their program.

Soooo here’s the deal. This program is not easy. Well, Serenity was kinda easy (I did both of their programs). I hear they’ve changed some things in the long term program since I was there, but I’m sure it’s still not easy, or fun. I went in March of 2020 after a series of unfortunate life choices including two DUIs and discovering my inability to get sober “on my own”. I had burned every bridge with my friends and family, I was as down and out as they come. My probation officer said “jail or rehab” and when I read about Stout Street, I immediately knew deep down that it was what I needed, despite the mixed reviews. I completed the inpatient portion of the program (18 months). During my time there, I was forced to face myself in a way that I desperately needed. I COULD sit here and rage about the aspects of the program that were – arguably – too intense. But I’d much rather tell you this: Stout Street changed my life. Because of the “job” I was assigned while I was in the program as the Medical Clerk (during COVID too! It was wild!), I had the necessary experience that I needed to apply for and gain access to a job in the addiction treatment field, where I still work to this day. Must more importantly, Stout was the TIME OUT I needed from life. It is a truly precious thing to have a year and a half to work on yourself. No bullshit. To not stress about bills, bad relationships and people from your time in active addiction, and to just SHUT OFF THE NOISE – is a GIFT. I am so grateful that I went here because it was the beginning of a beautiful life that I am now really creating, day by day. Had I not gone to Stout Street, I would be dead or likely in ANOTHER crappy codependent relationship. I can proudly say that I’ve been single since I went in, and five years later my life is looking more promising and feeling more stable and fulfilling than I ever thought would be possible. I always thought I would die before 30. That was my trajectory. Until Stout picked me up and shook me HARD with the reality of life, showed me that I CAN stand on my own two feet, and gave me ~H O P E~. If you’re looking for a cushy rehab where you get loads of free time, someone to sign off on the lies you tell yourself to keep getting high or drunk, quick tips, and comfort in recovery… Look somewhere else. This place right here will wake you up and teach you how to be uncomfortable. I can’t even tell you how many people bounced out after a month or so. It takes guts to work through this program. It’s worth every tear, every WC, every write up, and every tough confrontation. I am only now (5 years in the future lol) really seeing and reaping the benefits of my time here. The more time that goes on, the more tools that I find myself using to navigate life. Tools that I gained from Stout Street. The classes that they offer during your time are life-changing. I still do Inner Child work to this day, and I will do it until the day I die because it is the only thing that has helped me heal certain parts of myself from abuse and self-loathing. In all transparancy, I did not graduate the program. I had a relapse in the sober living phase of the program and ended up going to another facility briefly to get back on track. But my drive, my THIRST for self awareness and self love – those came from Stout Street. I am now an HONEST person because of this place. Sometimes you have to break down in order to rebuild, and this is a place where you can do that safely. A few staff members had an incredible impact on me, and now we’re coming full circle and I’m working alongside them to help others find their way into recovery at the outpatient clinic where I work. I can’t say thank you enough, Stout Street. I also can’t say I haven’t talked a LOT of shit on this program…. Because it was HARD. But the gifts they offer are undeniable. I love seeing my “brothers and sisters” from Stout out here thriving. It is truly incredible and if you really want to change your life, you should go here. Trust the process. If I could do it, so can you.

The intake process was very smooth

Caring and experienced staff makes all the difference. Evidenced based curriculum is well thought out. I would highly recommend Palmer Lake Recovery. A huge shoutout to all the BHTs that took care of me and helped when needed. Tim, Dan, Melissa, Karen, Ronnie, and more. Most of the therapists have their own recovery story which lends credibility. Most also deeply cared about our joining and healing. I met amazing staff and incredible people. Overall wonderful experience.

Palmer Lake Recovery was an amazing experience. The curriculum was very helpful and the staff truly cared. Everyone is very nice. I was not sure what to expect but it met all my expectations and then some. I would highly recommend.

The staff here honestly really cares about everyone in their program. The therapist’s were amazing. Excellent housing and accommodations. Could not ask for a better experience, literally saved my life.
