I stumbled (literally) into BOCA Recovery center on February 5th with little hope. I was set to spend 21 days away from all the comforts of Home My family and dog.
My first week of detox was more comfortable than I expected. Assisted with medications that helped me through The Tough days ahead. After I came out of the fog I dove head first into my recovery.
I went to every group meeting. I went to every AA meeting available I participated 100% And was determined to take advantage of every tool I would need to be successful. I learned Skills from so many People that have been there done that
And could relate to what I was feeling honestly feeling.
I didn’t realize I had so many traumas until we started talking about it. I have an addictive personality And the roots run deep through my family tree. With all the professional help I was able to navigate through those tough Traumas.
I realized I was drinking to bury those feelings and forget. They run a tight Shift With an Excellent routine.
They fed us very well.
They really focused on mind-body and soul. I will be forever grateful for the help

Nursing staff was very concerned with my mental and physical needs and helped take care of me. The awareness of my addiction is much more clear now I was given many tools to work with in my days of recovery. All of the staff have helped me on my journey!!

Avenues is a place that I would happily 😊 recommend to any I ne who is looking to get and stay sober. The staff is amazing, Samantha, Bobby, Kyla, Julia, Tim, Teresa and Madison will help teach you the skills needed to do the shadow work to help you understand your addiction. Lisa and Tim will help you get to your next step after Avenues. Medical and the techs like Z, Dawn, Lopez, Melissa and so many more will help you day to day in getting and staying acclimated. Even the cleaning staff and Lorenzo at the front desk will take time to speak to you if you're having issues or just a rough day.

I came to Avenues Recovery Rehab after dealing with multiple addictions i struggled for 10 years trying to find the right way to pick up the pieces in my life I got sober on October 28th 2025 I had already been to several half way houses and avenues in Fort Wayne a few times before but was never freed from mental illness and the struggle of anxiety or the urge to want to use I couldn't find the strength to say the words unmanageable that that was how my life had become I'm so thankful for avenues recovery and will never forget the effort your staff and therapists and case managers put in to help get you through and into recovery mode like you did to my life

Boca is the place to be. The staff is awesome. That people get along very respectful if you want to get your life together or you got a loved one that needs help with addiction. I’ve been to two other treatment centers, and this is by far the best! The techs, therapists, NPs, and other staff are all amazing. If you need help, don’t hesitate. Just call them.

Huge stepping stone for my life. I’ve been to a lot of places in my history of addiction/recovery and this was the one place I actually felt like I was equal. The staff go above and beyond for legit anything you need or struggle with. I never once felt alone. Most places and people in recovery are there for a paycheck, this place? The absolute opposite. Dawg this was one of the scariest yet BEST decisions I made for my recovery journey as well as myself. The love and care is endless.

Before Selah, I had several experiences at trauma centers that made me questioned if I ever wanted to get help or if my recovery was worth it.
I was admitted to Selah in Summer 2023 and 2024. I learned to advocated for myself and others. Shout out to nurse Mary Adkins and Kenzie, therapists Emily and Marice! Without them I would of left Selah. I was panicking, didn't feel heard and my dietian left for a different practice. There was so many changes that happened when I was there in 2024. But overall for me, what I gained from both experience was "trust" from the clinical staff at Selah. Trust the process. I have never had that before.

So glad to hear recently therapist Emily is taking over Christian Programming. One of the reasons I looked more into Selah was faith programming. On Sundays, I always looked forward to church in residential and php.

selah may not have been able to heal me from my eating disorder, not because their work and people aren’t great, but i believe because i have very deep internal issues i’ve struggled to work on myself for years. the program improved a lot from 2022 to 2024 (my two stays). obviously the program had its issues and iffy staff members, but overall the nurses and techs made me feel so loved. nancy, hailey, sydney, jess, christi, maggie, marcie, kati and chris the chaplain are amazing people. thank you guys for making me feel like a person.

I usually won't even listen ro anyone who hasn't experienced actual addiction to hard drugs first hand, but my counselor is doing her job well because she genuinely cares and doesn't judge the addicts that attend this facility. I am proud to say I actually have a real support system and have been able to accomplish more than ever. This place has transformed my life in such a positive way and im looking forward to the future. Thank you Ms. Raggs!
Not my first time at ICFR, but my first experience with the Indy campus. I love the small close-knit community. The staff is caring and helpful. The counselors are fantastic. The facility is clean and supports group dynamics. I would definitely refer anyone I care about who needs help to this company.

Before Hickory I’ve never experienced any sort of rehabilitation. In ANY aspect of my life. I was WRECKED. So my expectations were very “surfaced”. The tools and practices the staff, therapists, BHT’s and even the front desk and office staff provide go beyond just the addiction part. Even when some of us are at our absolute lowest and have lost sight of everything and everyone else…. It’s impossible, even then to lose sight of someone making us feel GENUINELY cared about. I’ll always remember the time we spent together Hickory!!! All 3 times of them.

I have and will continue to recommend Hickory House to people that are struggling with addiction because of what they have done and meant to me in my life. So I just want to start off by stating that this facility changed my life drastically and saved my butt! Quite literally. I came to FCRC a scared, shaking, & shy woman. I was a kid on the inside.
Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! First City, thank you for giving me my life back & my children their mother back. My husband his wife. We love y’all. 🙏🏼🫶🏼🫡
Definitely better than Bowen methadone clinic, there you’re just a number. At BHG they make you feel like an actual person and they get to know you and remember you. RCA,RCA! Where do I begin? So I graduated the program in January of 2025 and the facility offered me great skills to help to stay sober and therapy while there.
After leaving the Alumni coordinator always checked in monthly and I ended up at alumni events such as speaker events and even a Halloween event at Hogan Farms. I’d recommend this recovery network to anyone seeking a safe and reliable sober community!

This is really great place. Every staff there are so nice and welcoming. If someone is in need of any type of help for addiction this is in my opinion l, the place to go. They work with you in group setting and one on one therapy. It's a very good place to get started on one's recovery.

I just completed their 28 day stay and it was pretty good. The class's are full with knowledge and tools and coping skills. Most of the staff have your best interests at heart. The food is good and there is alot. Tvs in your room with Netflix, YouTube, tubi, Pluto. You get your phone 2 hours a day everyday. You can smoke, and chew pretty much whenever you want. The nurses will get your meds squared away without a problem. Your counselor will met with you for one on one's all throughout the week. I want to give a shout out to my counselor Lisa White, she really cared about what I was going through and helped me my whole time there. They also provide places you can go to after you complete the program. They have a detox side you can go to when you first get there if you are coming off hard drugs. They have a full size gym with all the equipment and and outside basketball court, volleyball, football, ping pong, cards, and art supplies. You can order stuff from Amazon like hygiene. You can also order nicotine products if you have cash or card or your people can drop them off. I had a easy great time there. You just got to focus on yourself and not worry about what other people are doing. It's easy to get caught up in what other people are doing and if you are going through anything like that just talk to counselor. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get there life headed in the right direction. It's a good starting place. They bill your insurance so it's pretty much free, it dont cost any actual money. Thanks so much recovery village I appreciate the help and I am doing good still.

ICFR answered my call and saved my life. The facilitators thought me how to handle my feelings and emotions and how to change negative thinking into positive thoughts and actions. The staff helped get me what I needed in a timely manner. Therapists are excellent in listening and providing feedback in what I said. Rooms are cleaned daily and the food was great.

I was in a really bad place before coming here. The best way to sum up my visit was that my initial assessments from intake to discharge were drastically different in the best ways. Everyone was so welcoming and kind and the employees all wanted to help at any point. There were a few bumps because when is there not, but I would absolutely recommend this place! The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . Although the schedule is demanding they have a way of making seem that it is not over bearing ... They changed and saved my life and I know the staff can do the same for you if you want it ... MY NAME IS Ron Hamilton And i have to say these counselors and Staff helped me get over my addiction as of last week I got my 7 month chip for being Drug free And being there for 3 weeks in April I took what my counselors taught me you have to want it and remove your self from people places and things I have to thank Mona , Jeff for believing in me and supporting me and all the counselors and Staff. I, like all, was at ICFR at the worst time of my life. I had several doctor appts that I needed to make when I went in. The travel was accommodated for me to be able to be taken to so I didn't miss them and that was one of my biggest concerns. When I had a major issue, Nick Gore (regional VP)was ON IT quickly to guide me thru it. The program was a vital step in saving my life and here I am almost 2 yrs sober now. Thankful for this facility!

You guys have been a very important part of my recovery and I must say my experience from the psychiatrist to the therapist and the group facilitator are all wonderful at what they do and I want to move to another state but I don't think I will find the level of care and professionalism I've received at midtown.

I just completed the 28 day program and the staff and everyone there were great people and the food was also very good they are going through allot of remodeling and things we're a little hectic which is understandable but other than that it was a life changing experience

I went there last year in December and it's an amazing rehab the staff listen and make you feel loved it's a great place for recovery

Next step has changed my life more than I could explain. I have almost 18 months of sobriety I have Connection with my higher power stronger than ever and my HP is God.
All the staff here treat you like family an are awesome people..
Sometimes I struggle with my addiction when I do I know that going to Brentwood is the best place for me The staff is awesome there's never any kind of wait time it's exactly what I need when I slip up
