Boca Recovery was my saving grace. I was given the ultimatum that if couldn’t get clean from alcohol and marijuana, then I would be removed from my children’s lives and have no chance of getting custody back. As an addict I just didn’t see me able to do this alone. I Google searched top rehabs in Oklahoma, and came across Boca Recovery. When I spoke to a recruiter they informed me that the facility was not in Oklahoma, but he told me not to panic. If I was ready, then all I had to worry about was making sure I was going to board on my scheduled flight. It seemed too good to be true, but sure enough they delivered and made sure I made it there safely. As soon as I stepped foot into the facility the staff treated me with the best care. Not only that, but the facility was very well maintained. You’re seen by a nurse the first day, and they set you up with everything you’ll need for the detox process. All therapist and case managers work together to build the best treatment plan that suits the patient/client. Not to mention the food they provide is amazing! Thanks to Boca recovery I have passed every UA since I’ve been out, and am able to be involved in my children’s lives again. Before arriving to Boca I didn’t see any of this being possible. BOCA saved my life. It offered me safety, stability, and daily expectations that I needed desperately. From the first day of entering the program the techs were welcoming, understanding, and supportive which eased my anxiety and allowed me to relax. The clinical staff I worked with is amazing and they helped me begin to understand why I needed to be there and pushed me to see that I also deserved happiness and peace of mind. I drove by Avenues yesterday and it made me reflect on how far I ve came since leaving there in November. Today marks 160 days in recovery and since leaving avenues, I ve moved into a new place, got a new job, got a new car, started repairing relationships, working on my steps and most importantly, I have all my babies back home. This week is spring break for my kids and I m able to take them on vacation. We re currently in Nashville for the next couple of days and I just get to enjoy my time with them. I know without avenues and all the amazing staff, I wouldn t be where I am today. There were so many awesome staff members that cared and took the time to talk, I know a few times I thought about leaving but glad I didn t and am glad everyone who talked to me. I wish I remembered all their names but I don t. I ve been to another avenues about a year and a half before going to this one and I have to say hands down this one(Clarksville) blows the other one out of the park. From the staff to the food to how the program is laid out, they care and will go the extra mile. I only wish I lived closer so that way I could work there once I hit my year. I will always remember the kind hearts of those that work here. This place got me my life back and I know my kids are thankful for that.

There are some amazing facilitators at avenues recovery in Clarksville who understand what I was going through and helped me understand what recovery was all about. Avenues helped me better understand myself and helped me make an aftercare plan so that i can remain sober. I recomend Avenuse to anyone who is serious about getting sober and staying sober.

This is my second time at Avenue s, and I was welcomed back with loving and supportive arms from all the staff. They congratulated me for coming back and reminded me coming in for treatment is extremely brave. You definitely get out of this place what you put in and then some! I had the best therapists (Julia and Lee) and amazing case management (Melissa). The medical staff is always helpful and pleasant and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to meet my dietary needs, as I have a gluten allergy. I was only here for two weeks and left on my own, but this place did so much for me in that time and I ll never be able to thank them enough. Is this place perfect? Far from it, a lot of tweaks they will need to make in time. The biggest highlight of the place is the staff, for the most part, just about everyone that works there has been through it, and you can tell they actually care.I can t remember everyone s names, but shoutout to all the techs, Kari and Cameron were wonderful to me, to the nursing staff, Chad and Chantel, The facilitators, therapists, AND THE COOKS! Everyday I was there, I felt spoiled getting to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Mya and Mike were wonderful.My only major gripe about the place is the director of the facility. He needs to hold himself to a higher standard and stop talking to clients the way he does. I feel everyone there has Stockholm syndrome when it comes to that guy and makes all types of excuses for him.Last but not least, thank you to Sarah which is a group leader/therapist. She was the shining star of that establishment. The stuff she has been through and the fact that she comes to work everyday motivated to help the people there is nothing short of admirable/inspiring. I wasn t sure about her at first and she quickly grew to be my favorite. God bless her.This is a great place, and if you read and listen to any review, have it be mine.

I came to First City Recovery Center to get help with my bipolar, BPD and OCD. It has been the greatest experience of my life. The food, the accommodations and everything related to living there was amazing.My case manager, my therapist, the group facilitators, the techs and the chefs were beyond incredible. This place is a great place to go if you need help with substance abuse or just mental health as well. When I went, I unfortunately didn’t take it very seriously but the people that did take it seriously have been very successful. Kyler was a great mentor while I was there, and he along with the other techs all seem very genuine and honest and willing to help in anyway they can. I am extremely grateful for this place, as well as Kyler especially. I don’t think I would be where I am today without him as a mentor.

Before Hickory I ve never experienced any sort of rehabilitation. In ANY aspect of my life. I was WRECKED. So my expectations were very surfaced . The tools and practices the staff, therapists, BHT s and even the front desk and office staff provide go beyond just the addiction part. Our adult daughter was admitted to the inpatient part of Selah almost 4 months ago. It was a scary time for all of us. Looking back, I can only say that they all took great care of our daughter and we will be forever grateful to everyone there for all they did to play a part in saving her life. There is something special about this place that is not explainable unless you visit. It is the amount of kindness and care present there. We have been to a few other facilities and they all seem the same in the sense that they are rigid, medical, often crabby people at times who are there for a paycheck... But that is not descriptive of this place. The people truly care about what they do. And not just one or two staff.- it is throughout.And that is honestly the most important piece of the eating disorder recovery - to feel cared about and understood; acknowledged.Thank You Selah for saving our daughter's life!She discharges tomorrow - and this account is not my actual name - but you probably know who! Nancy thanked me today for letting them care for our child. She is the one who needs the thanks. I had an overall good experience at Selah house. It was obvious how much all the staff care about the clients. The main reason I didn t give it 5 stars is because they have serious staffing issues. I was inpatient and had a feeding tube so I could only go on outings if there was a nurse present and enough rcs. There were at least 3 times I couldn t go because of staffing. The treatment program itself is extremely beneficial. Overall selah is an amazing program and would highly recommended it. I want to thank all of the rcs s who put in so much work into making it a homelike setting for all the clients. I had to go to the emergency room after fainted and Staci ended up taking me after her 16 hour shift. You can tell everyone truly cares and wants nothing but the best for you. If you want to recover selah is truly the place to go. Selah truly saved my life. I never at once felt like I was judged. I always felt safe. Huge thanks to Marci, Todd and All the nurses. You truly have such a positive impact on everyones lives.

The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . I recently spent time at ICFR and was initially hesitant about getting sober and beginning my recovery journey. I was going to this clinic for 7yrs. I eventually found a point in my life I was ready to taper off the medicine and live my life completely free of mind altering substances. Well not completely free yet. I enjoy my cigs and coffee lol. They will try to counsel you and help you from living a potential terrible lifestyle addicted to opiates. If you want to come off drugs you can. You have to put your mind to it.I started tapering from the methadone even by attempting to lower my dose just 1mg a medically advised method. Which I would recommend. I went from 70mg to 45mg medically advised then I decided to taper faster. The tapering process obviously helped. I know this because I was taking methadone and other opiates in the past and had to quit cold turkey do to being incarcerated. I m grateful for this place as it helped me. I hope it can help the next person.

I would recommend Wooded Glen to anybody who is in need of help and is truly seeking sobriety when I first got there I had so much drama going on in my life outside of just addiction and as time went on I warmed up and I became vulnerable it was an experience that I will never forget the staff is very courteous non-judgmental and understanding and very engaging you can tell they care Believe it or not a lot of them are in recovery themselves I never thought strangers would be so willing to help and care for people that they didn't know I am truly grateful for calling Wooded Glen Recovery what I liked most about Wooded Glenn was the fact that they dug deeper than just addiction I learn things from setting boundaries healthy relationships cognitive disorders just to name a few but the thing that I feel like help me most was the fact that we address the trauma and the underlying factors of why I use we got deeper than the surface during my time there I ended up becoming a peer leader which made me realize I have leadership skills it is so many things that I learned within 28 days it blew my mind and not to mention I got extremely healthy physically and mentally if you need help I highly recommend this place it saved my life and more ways than one I'm truly grateful and blessed to have been referred and admitted into their program this is my second time in a rehab and is by far a better choice in my opinion so thank you to all at Wooded Glen I am forever grateful also The place is beautiful and serene I'm from the city so I've never been in the country but it is so quiet and peaceful it was most definitely the reset and the break I needed to get back on track and not to mention THE FOOD THERE IS AMAZING!!!!!! Sunrise recovery truly exceeded all of my needs! I'm extremely appreciative of them! Their responses to treat you like family is absolutely outstanding & heart-warming! However I will say I did encounter a couple issues during my stay that I wish had been handled in some way, however, the good most definitely out-weighs the bad! Rodney(the cook) absolutely goes above & beyond to make the food amazing! He said his secret recipe is "it's made with love!" Which has to be true. The RC's there are exceptional and teach you because they truly care on whether or not you live a meaningful life. Whether it's your first time or your 4th..they welcome you with open arms & I believe always will! Thank you sunrise! Not only for helping me get back on my feel but for treating me like I'm the real good kind of family!I tried turning point before and had the WORST experience of my life..however this was in 2012 so hopefully a lot has changed since then, but without a doubt I'll always choose Sunrise Rrecovery!
