I was a kid on the inside. Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. What i found very helpful is over half the staff are recovered addicts. They know what your going through and how you feel, they have lived it. They show you what a great sober life is waiting for you on the other side. It's not easy getting help and they know it!! They are some of the best people I have met in my life. For years, I convinced myself I could manage it on my own or that I wasn’t “sick enough” to need real help. I had tried outpatient and virtual PHP/IOP care, but I wasn’t fully honest in my recovery and continued to hold on to unhealthy patterns. By the beginning of 2026, I realized I couldn’t keep living that way. I was exhausted and stuck, and I finally chose to seek deeper, more intentional help. Coming to Selah changed everything for me. What makes Selah so different is the way they care for the whole person, not just the physical side of recovery, but the emotional and spiritual healing as well. The staff truly see you, meet you where you are, and walk with you through the hardest parts without judgment. I never felt like just another patient, I felt known, supported, and genuinely cared for. During my time here, I began to understand that my worth is not tied to my body. I learned how to challenge the lies I had believed for so long and start accepting truth instead. The integration of faith was especially impactful for me, it helped me see that healing is possible and that I don’t have to do it alone. Recovery hasn’t been perfect or easy, but Selah gave me tools, support, and hope that I didn’t have before. I’ve seen real change in my heart and mindset, and for the first time, I believe freedom is possible. If you are struggling and unsure about getting help, I would truly encourage you to consider Selah. Life before Selah was chaotic, stressful, and I was MAJORLY obsessed with body image and working out. I was trapped. When I first got to Selah, I instantly felt love and nurture. I learned and was modeled what normal eating was.... that helped me tremendously. I know my faith in Jesus was the number one reason I am in recovery now AND Selah definitely assisted in my recovery as well. I know this is not the case for all, but I never looked back at my old eating disorder when I left. (No shame if you have had treatment and relapsed, sometimes that just happens.) I gave up the gym 15 years ago and have not stepped back in. I now do moderate walks here and there and I allow physical activity to be fun! I am rooted that I am not my image... Both of us had to do intake and they stop taking intakes at 10:00, we walked in at 9:57-9:58 and they still took us! I tried getting in with Bowen the day before and they wouldn’t take me, they said I had to schedule an appointment and it would be another week, but BHG was my saving grace! They want to help. Everybody is always friendly and caring as well. Tom at the office (and there’s another girl that does it, she has glasses and I think her name is Alexis? If not I apologize! 😅) but both of them are always In a good mood and willing to help and answer any questions you have. Tom also has memorized ( I think he said 70-80% of everybody’s number) which is beyond impressive! I got sick one day before they opened and Tom and the director (the first door by all the chairs) came and checked on me and asked if I need them to call anybody, they waited to open the clinic until I was ok (keep in mind there was a line). The counselors are also great and very understanding! If you work with them and tell them your situations and schedules they will do what they can to work with you. I got a few of my counseling sessions switched to phone calls because my husband has work early in the mornings and we don’t have much time to do anything when we come. My counselors name is Mariah and she is very nice and caring. Very easy to talk to as well! Also, she’s veryyyy stylish ! 😎 always coming in with a different hair style and she can pull off any outfit (I am beyond jealous!) and she’s got the sassy walk to pull it all off! 😂😂 I also gotta give Kari a good word, she’s another counselor here. When my husband and I couldn’t come at the designated group times she went out of her way to do a private group with just me and him. She also did it quickly since, like I said, we don’t have much time in the mornings. Like I said, if you work with them and tell them what’s going on, they will work with you. I gotta give it to the nurses as well, we have three of them and they’re all wonderful. When I got sick that one morning, Angel, came and checked on me and got me a bag, I was very appreciative of her. All three of them are very friendly, caring and compassionate. You can tell they really do care, and they take the time to great you and ask you how you’re doing. If they’re not busy they might strike up a conversation. I could tell any of these ladies anything and I wouldn’t feel any judgment. Lastly I gotta say a good word about Robert! He’s our security guard/muscle of the building. He’s a very good person, he’ll strike up a conversation with anybody and about anything. He also remembers you! They see so many people and here, the staff does remember you. He’s a very nice, down to earth guy, but he will step in when and if he has to, he cares about his people and doesn’t like when somebody creates a problem. He also got me a paper from the front desk once that I was very thankful for! This place has definitely cleaned up BIG TIME. I wasn’t here when it was on Wells street but I’ve heard the talk and it has done a full 360, plus some. The nurses keep a very close eye on the line and if you try cutting, or causing a problem when somebody gets back in their spot in line, they will say something. They don’t want to get confused so they like their line how it’s supposed to be! Also, they don’t want you to have to wait if that truly is your spot! The people that come here are awesome, everybody helps keep an eye on things and most people are good people here. I 100% would recommend BHG recovery over Bowen, or Marion, to anybody looking to get sober. Jena Perry 2 months ago Amazing place as far as people go. Would have gave them five Stars but their hours are ridiculous especially on Saturdays when when they close at 9:30 and they only have one lady working or they have urinalysis on Saturdays when they're only open for 4 hours a lot of times on Saturday the line is out the door and sometimes almost to the back of the parking lot which is a line of about 200 ft and you're standing out there in the elements for an hour sometimes, below zero it's not very pleasant. The class's are full with knowledge and tools and coping skills. Most of the staff have your best interests at heart. The food is good and there is alot. Tvs in your room with Netflix, YouTube, tubi, Pluto. You get your phone 2 hours a day everyday. You can smoke, and chew pretty much whenever you want. The nurses will get your meds squared away without a problem. Your counselor will met with you for one on one's all throughout the week. I want to give a shout out to my counselor Lisa White, she really cared about what I was going through and helped me my whole time there. They also provide places you can go to after you complete the program. They have a detox side you can go to when you first get there if you are coming off hard drugs. They have a full size gym with all the equipment and and outside basketball court, volleyball, football, ping pong, cards, and art supplies. You can order stuff from Amazon like hygiene. You can also order nicotine products if you have cash or card or your people can drop them off. I had a easy great time there. You just got to focus on yourself and not worry about what other people are doing. It's easy to get caught up in what other people are doing and if you are going through anything like that just talk to counselor. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get there life headed in the right direction. It's a good starting place. Although the schedule is demanding they have a way of making seem that it is not over bearing ... They changed and saved my life and I know the staff can do the same for you if you want it ... They create a safe, structured environment where my human can focus on healing. The inpatient and outpatient options give real flexibility, and the therapy groups, medication management, and recreational activities seem to help him start processing things he’s been holding onto for too long. He is involved in the Hope4Hero’s program which helps with Active, Veterans and first responders. This program has been so helpful for him. It’s not easy watching someone you love struggle, but seeing him get the support he needs here brings me some peace. The facility is clean and calm, which makes a big difference when emotions are running high. I appreciate how they treat the whole person—not just the symptoms—and include family/ support system education too. It reminds me that he’s not alone in this, even on the toughest days. This place is like no other facility I’ve been to tons of freedom not locked down to a specific hallway. Has a full gym basketball court arcade 2 bowling alley lanes pickleball courts barber and more. Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! THe only place in the state that is worth anything for treatment. I am a true alcoholic and the detox was the safest and smoothest ive ever had, i have been to many centers (unfortunately) and bridges of hope is the best treatment I have ever received. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff, the setup and how comfortable the facility is. Dont listen to the people talking sh*t below, they are probably just disgruntled clients that left to go get high again. I am so blessed and i am celebrating 4 months in 3 days.

When I arrived at Bridges of Hope, I was at rock bottom, beaten down filled with guilt, shame, remorse, and hopeless. This facility changed my life in so many ways and I am forever grateful. The staff was compassionate, understanding, provided me with the lifelong tools to embark on my new journey of freedom, salvation, courage, strength, and hope. The therapists undying compassion for their clients is truly remarkable. The CEO is a living inspiration and has an incredible story of his own. He goes out of his way to actively engage and teaches a remarkable Neuroscience lecture each week. I am truly blessed to have had this life changing experience. Bridges of Hope is the best rehab in the world!!!! This place saved and changed my life! It's very clean, great food and so much to do while in recovery. What i found very helpful is over half the staff are recovered addicts. They know what your going through and how you feel, they have lived it. They show you what a great sober life is waiting for you on the other side. It's not easy getting help and they know it!! They are some of the best people I have met in my life. If you or someone you know needs treatment you CAN NOT find a better place in the world!!!!!! I was in the Anderson,In. rehab facility for 25 days, that place is amazing!!! Huge stepping stone for my life. I’ve been to a lot of places in my history of addiction/recovery and this was the one place I actually felt like I was equal. The staff go above and beyond for legit anything you need or struggle with. I never once felt alone. Most places and people in recovery are there for a paycheck, this place? The absolute opposite. From a very young age, I battled deep body image issues that led to restricting, purging, and treating my body in ways that were harmful. For years, I convinced myself I could manage it on my own or that I wasn’t “sick enough” to need real help. I had tried outpatient and virtual PHP/IOP care, but I wasn’t fully honest in my recovery and continued to hold on to unhealthy patterns. By the beginning of 2026, I realized I couldn’t keep living that way. I was exhausted and stuck, and I finally chose to seek deeper, more intentional help. Coming to Selah changed everything for me. What makes Selah so different is the way they care for the whole person, not just the physical side of recovery, but the emotional and spiritual healing as well. The staff truly see you, meet you where you are, and walk with you through the hardest parts without judgment. I never felt like just another patient, I felt known, supported, and genuinely cared for. During my time here, I began to understand that my worth is not tied to my body. I learned how to challenge the lies I had believed for so long and start accepting truth instead. The integration of faith was especially impactful for me, it helped me see that healing is possible and that I don’t have to do it alone. Recovery hasn’t been perfect or easy, but Selah gave me tools, support, and hope that I didn’t have before. I’ve seen real change in my heart and mindset, and for the first time, I believe freedom is possible. If you are struggling and unsure about getting help, I would truly encourage you to consider Selah. It has been a life changing experience for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the role it’s played in my healing journey.

I graduated Selah about 15 years ago. Wowza. Life before Selah was chaotic, stressful, and I was MAJORLY obsessed with body image and working out. I was trapped. When I first got to Selah, I instantly felt love and nurture. I learned and was modeled what normal eating was.... that helped me tremendously. I know my faith in Jesus was the number one reason I am in recovery now AND Selah definitely assisted in my recovery as well. I know this is not the case for all, but I never looked back at my old eating disorder when I left. (No shame if you have had treatment and relapsed, sometimes that just happens.) I gave up the gym 15 years ago and have not stepped back in. I now do moderate walks here and there and I allow physical activity to be fun! I am rooted that I am not my image... First I would like to say how amazing all the counselors are and staff. Would love to point out the awesome therapist Arie( Drill Sgt) Bre, and Courtney. They've been amazing amd truly care...straight to the point and no sugar coating. All the techs were awesome especially a big shout out to Carla, David, Eric (Ray Ray), Kristi, and Shannel...thanks for everything you've helped me out with and showing me love during my recovery. Now the nursing team and Drs were fantastic. Greatful for the Gene Testing and putting me on the right meds....Love you Larry. Before Hickory I’ve never experienced any sort of rehabilitation. In ANY aspect of my life. I was WRECKED. So my expectations were very “surfaced”. The tools and practices the staff, therapists, BHT’s and even the front desk and office staff provide go beyond just the addiction part. Even when some of us are at our absolute lowest and have lost sight of everything and everyone else…. It’s impossible, even then to lose sight of someone making us feel GENUINELY cared about. Overall, this place really does a lot right. The staff works hard, things run smoothly and you can tell there are people here who genuinely care about what they’re doing. Huge shoutout to Michelle (aka the real MVP / PD) for keeping things together. It does not go unnoticed. That said…the parking lot is currently giving “extreme sports obstacle course.” The potholes are not subtle. You don’t just park here, you navigate it. If you hear a loud thud on your way in, just know it’s not construction, it’s your suspension filing a complaint. Fix the potholes and this place would be pretty close to perfect. Until then, consider it part of the full experience — just drive in like you value your tires.

My husband and I love it here! Our intake day was our first great experience. Both of us had to do intake and they stop taking intakes at 10:00, we walked in at 9:57-9:58 and they still took us! I tried getting in with Bowen the day before and they wouldn’t take me, they said I had to schedule an appointment and it would be another week, but BHG was my saving grace! They want to help. Everybody is always friendly and caring as well. Tom at the office (and there’s another girl that does it, she has glasses and I think her name is Alexis? If not I apologize! 😅) but both of them are always In a good mood and willing to help and answer any questions you have. Tom also has memorized ( I think he said 70-80% of everybody’s number) which is beyond impressive! I got sick one day before they opened and Tom and the director (the first door by all the chairs) came and checked on me and asked if I need them to call anybody, they waited to open the clinic until I was ok (keep in mind there was a line). The counselors are also great and very understanding! If you work with them and tell them your situations and schedules they will do what they can to work with you. I got a few of my counseling sessions switched to phone calls because my husband has work early in the mornings and we don’t have much time to do anything when we come. My counselors name is Mariah and she is very nice and caring. Very easy to talk to as well! Also, she’s veryyyy stylish ! 😎 always coming in with a different hair style and she can pull off any outfit (I am beyond jealous!) and she’s got the sassy walk to pull it all off! 😂😂 I also gotta give Kari a good word, she’s another counselor here. When my husband and I couldn’t come at the designated group times she went out of her way to do a private group with just me and him. She also did it quickly since, like I said, we don’t have much time in the mornings. Like I said, if you work with them and tell them what’s going on, they will work with you. I gotta give it to the nurses as well, we have three of them and they’re all wonderful. When I got sick that one morning, Angel, came and checked on me and got me a bag, I was very appreciative of her. All three of them are very friendly, caring and compassionate. You can tell they really do care, and they take the time to great you and ask you how you’re doing. If they’re not busy they might strike up a conversation. I could tell any of these ladies anything and I wouldn’t feel any judgment. Lastly I gotta say a good word about Robert! He’s our security guard/muscle of the building. He’s a very good person, he’ll strike up a conversation with anybody and about anything. He also remembers you! They see so many people and here, the staff does remember you. He’s a very nice, down to earth guy, but he will step in when and if he has to, he cares about his people and doesn’t like when somebody creates a problem. He also got me a paper from the front desk once that I was very thankful for! This place has definitely cleaned up BIG TIME. I wasn’t here when it was on Wells street but I’ve heard the talk and it has done a full 360, plus some. The nurses keep a very close eye on the line and if you try cutting, or causing a problem when somebody gets back in their spot in line, they will say something. They don’t want to get confused so they like their line how it’s supposed to be! Also, they don’t want you to have to wait if that truly is your spot! The people that come here are awesome, everybody helps keep an eye on things and most people are good people here. I 100% would recommend BHG recovery over Bowen, or Marion, to anybody looking to get sober.

Amazing place as far as people go. Would have gave them five Stars but their hours are ridiculous especially on Saturdays when when they close at 9:30 and they only have one lady working or they have urinalysis on Saturdays when they're only open for 4 hours a lot of times on Saturday the line is out the door and sometimes almost to the back of the parking lot which is a line of about 200 ft and you're standing out there in the elements for an hour sometimes, below zero it's not very pleasant. Other than that the staff get five stars nurses front office and counselors and the doc is great too.

I just completed their 28 day stay and it was pretty good. The class's are full with knowledge and tools and coping skills. Most of the staff have your best interests at heart. The food is good and there is alot. Tvs in your room with Netflix, YouTube, tubi, Pluto. You get your phone 2 hours a day everyday. You can smoke, and chew pretty much whenever you want. The nurses will get your meds squared away without a problem. Your counselor will met with you for one on one's all throughout the week. I want to give a shout out to my counselor Lisa White, she really cared about what I was going through and helped me my whole time there. They also provide places you can go to after you complete the program. They have a detox side you can go to when you first get there if you are coming off hard drugs. They have a full size gym with all the equipment and and outside basketball court, volleyball, football, ping pong, cards, and art supplies. You can order stuff from Amazon like hygiene. You can also order nicotine products if you have cash or card or your people can drop them off. I had a easy great time there. You just got to focus on yourself and not worry about what other people are doing. It's easy to get caught up in what other people are doing and if you are going through anything like that just talk to counselor. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get there life headed in the right direction. It's a good starting place. They bill your insurance so it's pretty much free, it dont cost any actual money. Thanks so much recovery village I appreciate the help and I am doing good still.

The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . You guys have been a very important part of my recovery and I must say my experience from the psychiatrist to the therapist and the group facilitator are all wonderful at what they do and I want to move to another state but I don't think I will find the level of care and professionalism I've received at midtown.

I just completed the 28 day program and the staff and everyone there were great people and the food was also very good they are going through allot of remodeling and things we're a little hectic which is understandable but other than that it was a life changing experience

I’ve been here before with my human! This He’s taking care of his mental health after getting dealt a really bad hand in life. Life hasn’t been kind to him lately, and it shows in the weight he carries every day. Coming back to Brentwood Springs feels like returning to a place that actually gets it. The staff here is compassionate and professional. They create a safe, structured environment where my human can focus on healing. The inpatient and outpatient options give real flexibility, and the therapy groups, medication management, and recreational activities seem to help him start processing things he’s been holding onto for too long. He is involved in the Hope4Hero’s program which helps with Active, Veterans and first responders. This program has been so helpful for him. It’s not easy watching someone you love struggle, but seeing him get the support he needs here brings me some peace. The facility is clean and calm, which makes a big difference when emotions are running high. I appreciate how they treat the whole person—not just the symptoms—and include family/ support system education too. It reminds me that he’s not alone in this, even on the toughest days. If you or someone you care about is facing serious mental health challenges or co-occurring issues, Brentwood Springs is a place worth considering. They’ve helped us and I’m hopeful they’ll help my human find some stability and strength now. Thank you to the team at Brentwood Springs for the care you provide.
