I admitted myself for mental health. I was beyond terrified about seeking help that I had so desperately needed. But the beautiful people at ICFR helped me feel comfortable. The group facilitators were well beyond amazing. They have taught me so many skills that I can now take out into the world and continue my journey of mental health recovery. Centerstone has been one of the best providers put into place for me. i loved this place out of the rest inpatient/residential places ive done. i was here 2 years ago when i was 14 for my anorexia; and this place truly did help my eating disorder the only main reason to my ed downfall was not having proper treatment when i left so please make sure your child has the proper care before discharging because i myself do not have a second chance with this place for my behavioral issues and being noncompliance at first when i was first there so please take in your chances with this place while you can, this place was the best ive gone to and being there truly did help my eating disorder i love the programming there, the food, and the staff are amazing and will help you with whatever issue you have going on!! just the chapel is homophobic💜!

From a very young age, I battled deep body image issues that led to restricting, purging, and treating my body in ways that were harmful. For years, I convinced myself I could manage it on my own or that I wasn’t “sick enough” to need real help. I had tried outpatient and virtual PHP/IOP care, but I wasn’t fully honest in my recovery and continued to hold on to unhealthy patterns. By the beginning of 2026, I realized I couldn’t keep living that way. I was exhausted and stuck, and I finally chose to seek deeper, more intentional help. Coming to Selah changed everything for me. What makes Selah so different is the way they care for the whole person, not just the physical side of recovery, but the emotional and spiritual healing as well. The staff truly see you, meet you where you are, and walk with you through the hardest parts without judgment. I never felt like just another patient, I felt known, supported, and genuinely cared for. During my time here, I began to understand that my worth is not tied to my body. I learned how to challenge the lies I had believed for so long and start accepting truth instead. The integration of faith was especially impactful for me, it helped me see that healing is possible and that I don’t have to do it alone. Recovery hasn’t been perfect or easy, but Selah gave me tools, support, and hope that I didn’t have before. I’ve seen real change in my heart and mindset, and for the first time, I believe freedom is possible. If you are struggling and unsure about getting help, I would truly encourage you to consider Selah. It has been a life changing experience for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the role it’s played in my healing journey.

I graduated Selah about 15 years ago. Wowza. Life before Selah was chaotic, stressful, and I was MAJORLY obsessed with body image and working out. I was trapped. When I first got to Selah, I instantly felt love and nurture. I learned and was modeled what normal eating was.... that helped me tremendously. I know my faith in Jesus was the number one reason I am in recovery now AND Selah definitely assisted in my recovery as well. I know this is not the case for all, but I never looked back at my old eating disorder when I left. (No shame if you have had treatment and relapsed, sometimes that just happens.) I gave up the gym 15 years ago and have not stepped back in. I now do moderate walks here and there and I allow physical activity to be fun! I am rooted that I am not my image... I am a child of God. 1 Timothy 4:8. Recovery is possible, one hundred percent possible. Blessings, Ashley

This was the third rehab center that my wife attended. My wife wasnt in a good place mentally when I dropped her off. Blaming, heavy, burdened, joyless. I talked to her 7 days in and she was positive, light spirited, and exhibited empowerment. She has talked more about her alcoholism and knows what led up to it because Tara required her to do a timeline of life events. She seems much in touch with herself and better equipped as a result. She also had an excellent counselor that provided very pointed counseling specific to my wife’s life and needs. Based on what I learned from my wife I think everyone could use a little of what TARA has to offered regardless of whether u have an addiction or not. I highly recommend.

I love Tara. The staff are all respectful and compassionate. The curriculum took a deep dive into my history to help bring to light past experiences and how they affect my current life. The days were broken up with little “outings” where we were taken offsite for various activities. Management has clearly worked hard to find a program that works well, and I am so thankful that I was able to attend it.

Before Hickory I’ve never experienced any sort of rehabilitation. In ANY aspect of my life. I was WRECKED. So my expectations were very “surfaced”. The tools and practices the staff, therapists, BHT’s and even the front desk and office staff provide go beyond just the addiction part. Even when some of us are at our absolute lowest and have lost sight of everything and everyone else…. It’s impossible, even then to lose sight of someone making us feel GENUINELY cared about. I’ll always remember the time we spent together Hickory!!! All 3 times of them.

Overall, this place really does a lot right. The staff works hard, things run smoothly and you can tell there are people here who genuinely care about what they’re doing. Huge shoutout to Michelle (aka the real MVP / PD) for keeping things together. It does not go unnoticed. That said…the parking lot is currently giving “extreme sports obstacle course.” The potholes are not subtle. You don’t just park here, you navigate it. If you hear a loud thud on your way in, just know it’s not construction, it’s your suspension filing a complaint. Fix the potholes and this place would be pretty close to perfect. Until then, consider it part of the full experience — just drive in like you value your tires.

My husband and I love it here! Our intake day was our first great experience. Both of us had to do intake and they stop taking intakes at 10:00, we walked in at 9:57-9:58 and they still took us! I tried getting in with Bowen the day before and they wouldn’t take me, they said I had to schedule an appointment and it would be another week, but BHG was my saving grace! They want to help. Everybody is always friendly and caring as well. Tom at the office (and there’s another girl that does it, she has glasses and I think her name is Alexis? If not I apologize! 😅) but both of them are always In a good mood and willing to help and answer any questions you have. Tom also has memorized ( I think he said 70-80% of everybody’s number) which is beyond impressive! I got sick one day before they opened and Tom and the director (the first door by all the chairs) came and checked on me and asked if I need them to call anybody, they waited to open the clinic until I was ok (keep in mind there was a line). The counselors are also great and very understanding! If you work with them and tell them your situations and schedules they will do what they can to work with you. I got a few of my counseling sessions switched to phone calls because my husband has work early in the mornings and we don’t have much time to do anything when we come. My counselors name is Mariah and she is very nice and caring. Very easy to talk to as well! Also, she’s veryyyy stylish ! 😎 always coming in with a different hair style and she can pull off any outfit (I am beyond jealous!) and she’s got the sassy walk to pull it all off! 😂😂 I also gotta give Kari a good word, she’s another counselor here. When my husband and I couldn’t come at the designated group times she went out of her way to do a private group with just me and him. She also did it quickly since, like I said, we don’t have much time in the mornings. Like I said, if you work with them and tell them what’s going on, they will work with you. I gotta give it to the nurses as well, we have three of them and they’re all wonderful. When I got sick that one morning, Angel, came and checked on me and got me a bag, I was very appreciative of her. All three of them are very friendly, caring and compassionate. You can tell they really do care, and they take the time to great you and ask you how you’re doing. If they’re not busy they might strike up a conversation. I could tell any of these ladies anything and I wouldn’t feel any judgment. Lastly I gotta say a good word about Robert! He’s our security guard/muscle of the building. He’s a very good person, he’ll strike up a conversation with anybody and about anything. He also remembers you! They see so many people and here, the staff does remember you. He’s a very nice, down to earth guy, but he will step in when and if he has to, he cares about his people and doesn’t like when somebody creates a problem. He also got me a paper from the front desk once that I was very thankful for! This place has definitely cleaned up BIG TIME. I wasn’t here when it was on Wells street but I’ve heard the talk and it has done a full 360, plus some. The nurses keep a very close eye on the line and if you try cutting, or causing a problem when somebody gets back in their spot in line, they will say something. They don’t want to get confused so they like their line how it’s supposed to be! Also, they don’t want you to have to wait if that truly is your spot! The people that come here are awesome, everybody helps keep an eye on things and most people are good people here. I 100% would recommend BHG recovery over Bowen, or Marion, to anybody looking to get sober.

Amazing place as far as people go. Would have gave them five Stars but their hours are ridiculous especially on Saturdays when when they close at 9:30 and they only have one lady working or they have urinalysis on Saturdays when they're only open for 4 hours a lot of times on Saturday the line is out the door and sometimes almost to the back of the parking lot which is a line of about 200 ft and you're standing out there in the elements for an hour sometimes, below zero it's not very pleasant. Other than that the staff get five stars nurses front office and counselors and the doc is great too.

Oh lord patient as EVER . I graduated from Wooded Glen on April 14th & it changed my life! This was my first rehab / residential stay, and I truly couldn’t have ended up in a better place. The techs, the clinical team, the nurses, the lunch lady’s, the janitors, every single person played a role, whether it was working one on one with them or just a friendly smile passing through! Also, my sober sisters, the bond that was made was amazing & im thankful to still have a lot of them in my life and a part of my recovery journey today! I would also like to add that the facility itself was absolutely beautiful and the outdoor surroundings were incredible. It truly is such a beautiful serene place! I would 10/10 recommend this facility and its program to anyone struggling with addiction. If you or someone you know is struggling seriously please reach out to the team at Wooded Glen, they will love you until you learn to love yourself. I can’t thank the staff and this establishment enough. I look forward to the alumni get togethers and getting to see familiar faces! A breath of fresh air from the other traditional hospital-esque treatment settings that Indiana has historically been dominated by. (FULL REVIEW BELOW) The breakdown: Pro's: -Renovated resort on a spacious piece of land that includes a lake patients can fish on, walking trails, a full basketball court, and large open fields for activities -Nearly all direct support staff is in recovery -Food is home-cooked style and every meal includes seconds if wanted -Nicotine products allowed (vapes too) -Guitar, piano, animal therapy (they literally have an Australian Shephard and like 10 chickens to interact with), plant and flower garden patients can contribute to, pickle ball, corn hole. -Large donation room for patients coming with no clothes -Medicaid insurance allowed -Alumni program that includes an app that helps connect all the patients post-discharge Cons (Based on opinion/personal exerience): -My biggest complaint is no PHP/sober living housing being available. I made life-changing relationships with staff and peers in this community/program, and after discharge, couldn't continue them due Wooded Glen not having that level of programming. -Nearly no books/reading material available for patients to read, and the books that are available are random Amish romance novels from the 80's) -Infrequent/inconsistent store runs when patients need Nicotine/personal products -They don't allow family to drop off sealed soda/snacks OTHER THAN fun-sized candy -No outside meetings -No family visit days Thanks 😊

The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . Although the schedule is demanding they have a way of making seem that it is not over bearing ... They changed and saved my life and I know the staff can do the same for you if you want it ... Last month, I had the pleasure of attending Harbor Light IOP's Graduation and I was moved in so many ways I truly felt obligated to write a review about my experience. At this graduation, the valedictorian's name was Henry. He read a speech to the members in the audience and after his speech, he read a break up letter to the drug that had him in bondage for so many years. In this letter he reminisced on the good times they experienced, the great times with the women and the important life events he missed while being under the influence of this drug. The saying "all good things, must come to an end" was evident while he read this letter to the crowd. Henry decided that Harbor Light Center was going to be his home to assist him with obtaining and maintaining his sobriety. He thanked the caring and loving staff for they way they made him well welcomed on his first day. The Harbor Light Center is the truly place for New Beginnings, and I was honored to witness that Henry and the rest of his graduating class achieved their New Beginning at The Harbor Light Center. A place filled with love, compassion and support! I will continue to make referrals to the HLC! Please continue doing the rewarding work that you do, as YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

I had a great experience at Harbor Light Center, Salvation Army. I was so determined that this place would not help me or me turn my life back around but you know what after detox for a week and a couple of weeks after I started to feel normal again I learned that I could not get better in a couple days. HLC changed my life around it’s been going good and strong for 5 years now I feel amazing I want to thank them. I attended the virtual IOP with Trish and really had a wonderful experience. The content was revenant and thorough and just some worksheets to kill time and take your money. Trish was knowledgeable, kind, and patient without being a pushover. I had been to lots of other places in lots of areas but this IOP experience, I feel, really started me on the road to recovery which I couldn’t even fathom when I started. MY NAME IS Ron Hamilton And i have to say these counselors and Staff helped me get over my addiction as of last week I got my 7 month chip for being Drug free And being there for 3 weeks in April I took what my counselors taught me you have to want it and remove your self from people places and things I have to thank Mona , Jeff for believing in me and supporting me and all the counselors and Staff. Wow! I read the last review and I am not surprised in the least! I had an experience with this facility and while the lady was pretty confident that I was going to enroll. I guess you thought I had no other choice. She made it clear that she had control over me and if I was one minute late that would mean that my probation would go on forever and that the facility would profit as much as possible based on any problems getting rides that I don't normally need. Clearly the more dependent you are before this happens the higher your rate of success. If you are independent and you have to find dependence on other people then you are likely to fail. SteppingStone makes absolutely no sense. They are a profit machine that is supported highly by city and that is why they are at the top of their list. If you are ever in a position where you have to use rehabilitative services I highly recommend that you skip over this option. Remember me if you're ever in there and they tell you how big of an addict you are when the truth is you just have a life and you made one mistake.

I’ve been here before with my human! This He’s taking care of his mental health after getting dealt a really bad hand in life. Life hasn’t been kind to him lately, and it shows in the weight he carries every day. Coming back to Brentwood Springs feels like returning to a place that actually gets it. The staff here is compassionate and professional. They create a safe, structured environment where my human can focus on healing. The inpatient and outpatient options give real flexibility, and the therapy groups, medication management, and recreational activities seem to help him start processing things he’s been holding onto for too long. He is involved in the Hope4Hero’s program which helps with Active, Veterans and first responders. This program has been so helpful for him. It’s not easy watching someone you love struggle, but seeing him get the support he needs here brings me some peace. The facility is clean and calm, which makes a big difference when emotions are running high. I appreciate how they treat the whole person—not just the symptoms—and include family/ support system education too. It reminds me that he’s not alone in this, even on the toughest days. If you or someone you care about is facing serious mental health challenges or co-occurring issues, Brentwood Springs is a place worth considering. They’ve helped us and I’m hopeful they’ll help my human find some stability and strength now. Thank you to the team at Brentwood Springs for the care you provide. I can't stand the negative reviews. YES I WAS THERE. Six months ago, I almost didn't stay but I did. Such incredible staff and an incredible program. Met some of the greatest people to ever want to change their life around. Residential was amazing. PHP also an incredible program attended both with full support from all staff and peers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RECOVERY WORKS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BETTER THEMSELVES.

I can't leave 5 stars, but I can leave 4. This facility does have issues, but I did receive a call from the compliance manager, and she resolved my concerns and issues. So good work recovery works and keep up the good work.

This was the best ward ever, all the staff and nurses and techs were so nice to me and it’s surprisingly very chill, Corwin and Suzy, Precious are so so sweet and helping and supportive. I learned so much here.

I stayed at Indiana Center for Recovery for 2 weeks working through my personal mental health struggles. The Technicians and Client Care Coordinators helped make my stay easier and helped advocate for my needs during my stay. The techs who shined the most would be Corwin, Rachel, Catelyn, Firestone, Heather, Yaya, Samantha, Tiana, Jordan, and every tech who helped out on floor two seriously helped impact me and my growth. The Client Care Coordinators make night time so much more fun with activities like Game Nights, Karaoke, Open Mic, Bingo, and Movie Night to keep us together but also keeping it light hearted while we work through our own struggles. Bruce, Cierra, & Dom shined so bright running these events, Bruce even was kind enough to help me out by bringing me to the Bio Bed which helped me feel a lot of inner peace and stop focusing on my chronic pain. We were served breakfast, lunch, and dinner with options for snacks and sodas in between as well as access to juices. My favorite part of my stay was the connections and friends I made with the clients here as well as the friendships I had with the technicians and facilitator's. Listening to everyone's stories helped me learn a lot of useful knowledge for my own personal journey. Indiana Center for Recovery is truly a nice place to get away from day to day struggles and get your feet solid on the ground before getting back to normal life. It's hard to start but once you accept your struggles, the journey comes natural.

ICFR is an amazing place with amazing staff and mental health technicians. They don’t look at you as a burden in the slightest even though when I first got here i definitely was I truly appreciate the time and effort they put into my mental health and recovery. Thank you Amy for letting me feel comfortable to open up and get the help I need and Susie for taking the time to put the boot in my behind when I needed it I will always remember all of you thank you from the bottom of my heart
