Truly a positive experience. The staff was so impactful in helping me achieve my sobriety. The knowledge gained during my 30 days will be carried with me for a lifetime, I would not have been successful without there help. I honestly could not have done this on my own. Just finished my exit interview after a state mandated probation restriction and I can say I wish i started it sooner than I did.
Julian and the entire staff are there to help anyone willing to enter (or forced in my case) a recovery program with open arms.
Sure, it costs money and it's not a RESORT type program (anyone that has seen the movie 28 days knows what i mean).. but the therapy is very helpful and worthwhile if you're either struggling... or in my case... BUSTED doing something stupid.
The understanding that people make mistakes is first and foremost... the encouragement for self help is right there... and the personal attention via 1 on 1 is great.
The group sessions were relaxed and often entertaining.... sharing stories of mistakes and triumphs... goofy occurances and others in the group lovingly joking about why and how we ended up there..... whether by choice or law....
They're highly resourceful for any additional help someone might feel the need to reach for as well.
As strange as it may sound.... i'm kinda gonna miss going in.
If you feel like you're struggling with addiction... maybe problems at home... maybe the loss of a loved one... or anything... i seriously can't recommend them highly enough.
