After 10 years of battling addiction to various drugs I went to ECS for 28 days of rehab. It was a life changing experience that started on 11/29/2018. I have been in recovery for nearly 2 years now. I’ve become close with my family and opened a personal training business helping men in rehab and employing men in recovery. I have also gotten my position as a general foreman back at my regular Job as well as my freedom in my life and am a better man than I have ever been thanks to the counselors, staff and Dr Sharma at ECS.
A 6 year sober and in recovery update. I am now making over a quarter million a year with a Fortune 500 company, have kids who love and respect me again, 2 homes in 2 states, real friendships and a life beyond my wildest dreams. I was homeless 6.5 years ago. It all started with E.C.S. and im still a part of the community they have there that Doc started. Grateful

Also my counselor Dan in the Joliet office is a great counselor. I, like most people are closed off when going thru this process. Eventually you will begin to open up when you see there is several other people dealing and going thru a similar situation as yourself. And believe me Im the most closed off person there is. Paramo is a great person and educator! His professional evaluation of me proved that I didn't have addiction issues, but I am thankful that I was still required to take the classes. I didn't expect to learn as much as I did about alcohol and how easy it is to fall into a pattern of drinking that can lead to addiction. That knowledge is important and has made me more aware of unhealthy patterns. Also, he reminded us that if you plan to drink DO NOT drive. Have a designated driver. Also have the Lyft and Uber App installed on your phone ready to use, just in case your DD doesn't follow through with their sobriety. Thank you Paramo!

I was pleasantly surprised when I came to Suncloud because the staff were all so kind and genuinely cared about helping you. It's been a year now since I started treatment and I can confidently say that I learned the skills and created an amazing support group that have helped me be in such a better place. This facility treats a broad range of mood, eating, and trauma disorders alongsi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I see a lot of negative reviews on here and my experience might have been different due to my age (late 30s). I wanted to be at TK. I didn't have someone make the decision for me, although my husband was very supportive.
Out of all the staff, there were only 2 I didn't like. Not that they were bad, just a clash with our personalities.
I have epilepsy, it's chronic and active. I had to go home to have surgery (a replacement battery for the device that helps control my seizures). I was gone for about 36 hours. The staff was great with my seizures and with my surgery.
I thought I was going to need to go back when my husband passed away, but I made it through. A lot of that I can credit TK with for giving me the tools to work with.
The only problem I really had was leaving. Leaving was terrifying because that safety net just vanished. That is one thing I think the staff needs to prepare you a bit better for.
I've been healthy since leaving. Sure, I still get the feelings/urges on occasion but I created my own safety net. I can control the urges. I'm actually rather proud of myself.
PS - If any of the former staff ever reads this "Meany Mo-Mo" you know who you are. Thank you, for all you did. Your patience, your help, and just being there when I needed it. You literally are the best. <3

Joliet is the 196th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $55771. This is comparable to the average cost of $56666 for addiction treatment in Illinois and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Joliet vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Joliet. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Joliet that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Joliet.
UnitedHealth Group is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Joliet, with 12 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Aetna is the 2nd most popular with 11 treatment centers accepting it followed by Blue Cross Blue Shield in 3rd accepted by 11 drug rehabs.
Joliet has the 84th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Will county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Joliet or Will county as a whole.
In 2023, Joliet had the 211th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 269 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Joliet. All values are per 100,000 population.
