The Joliet Symetria location saved my life!! What a great bunch of people!! They work with you, and guide you through everything!! Heck Tonette even got me an Uber one time because my car was broke down and I was going to miss my dosing. I know I have heard good and bad about Symetria but this location (Joliet) goes out of their way to make sure patients and good. I've been to several rehabs. ECS had a different outlook on recovery than the previous rehabs. The staff in the facilities is probably the best part. Most of the staff are also in recovery and provide advice based on experience. The aftercare available and the sense of community is a big reason I'm sober today. ECS showed me that recovery is much more than just getting sober.

There's just something different about the approach, the care for the patients and the appeal to recovery here. Ive been through a lot of recovery and the facilities at ECS are awesome, the counselors and the staff are absolutely relatable and knowledgeable. Ive found a home in RECOVERY with ECS.

Saving lives and keeping families together is what this place has done for many years people I knew personally and abroad. The number one thing is mental health. That includes substance abuse disorders. If you're not gonna be honest and aren't ready to get clean they ain't gonna put up with your crap. I'm so grateful they were tough. They've seen it all yall. Staff has been there for years. They actually care and they’re not for straight profits like other local places. Still the best in the area 3 years later.

I'm an alcoholic, have been for years. I got treatment before I decided to give the Gateway, Iopc,a try. Im not religious and religion isnt pushed at GateWay Iopc, which is why i gave it a try. My Dr suggested it so I decided to do that treatment after my detox. Also my counselor Dan in the Joliet office is a great counselor. I, like most people are closed off when going thru this process. Eventually you will begin to open up when you see there is several other people dealing and going thru a similar situation as yourself. And believe me Im the most closed off person there is. You may not agree with all of it, as I didn't, but there are parts that's help. Everyone is dealing with something different and everyone is affected differently. Focus on yourself and don't let outside influences stop you from what you want.

Paramo is a great person and educator! His professional evaluation of me proved that I didn't have addiction issues, but I am thankful that I was still required to take the classes. I didn't expect to learn as much as I did about alcohol and how easy it is to fall into a pattern of drinking that can lead to addiction. That knowledge is important and has made me more aware of unhealthy patterns. Also, he reminded us that if you plan to drink DO NOT drive. Have a designated driver. Also have the Lyft and Uber App installed on your phone ready to use, just in case your DD doesn't follow through with their sobriety. Thank you Paramo!

Overall this was the best labor and delivery experience I have had. Out of the 4 births of my children.. this was my best experience as far caring nurses who tried their hardest to keep me comfortable... and for as much pain as I was in they definitely didn't mind my attitude and mood swings and being a horrible cry baby.. 10 out of 10 for the entire staff. And especially the special care nursery nurses who have been caring for my son .. who was suppose to be a girl! It was quite a ride. And I'm glad I chose St Joe's.. 🤍🖤💙

John is a great counselor. He listens and is non judgemental. He shows empathy when warranted. The class felt comfortable talking to him and the class. I really appreciated that the class was a zoom meeting. John punctual and starts the class exactly on time. I thought I would dread taking the classes but it ended up not being the case. I got a lot out of the teachings. I would definitely recommend his classes to anyone who needs them.

THIS should be YOUR doctor. I have always had a hard time trusting people, especially doctors. When i met Singla a couple years ago, i knew I found the right doctor. There was immediate trust and a relationship formed. He CARES about you AND how your issues impact your family. He asks the standard doctor questions but follows up with questions that involve your family. He makes sure he knows you inside and out. There is no such thing as cutting corners with Dr. Singla. He is the most compassionate, trustworthy, and knowledgeable GP i have ever been to. With all my medical history, including Ulcerative Colitis, he makes sure the treatment he is providing will be beneficial to all my issues, not just the reason i had to see him that day. He even remembers my kids names, pets names, and so on. I consider him my friend and doctor. The extra time spent in office is so he can know YOU. You are not a "number" or easy insurance claim for his office. He is your doctor that turns into your friend. I just got out of the hospital 36 hours ago. He, as a GP, treated me better than my GI doctor did, and that is why i was admitted to the hopspital in the first place, due to GI issues. If it was not for Dr. Singla, i am sure i would have needed surgery to stop my symptoms. He cared more about me vs my Specialist GI doctor. My wife loves him!!! She also has never even met him! Suncloud has been a life saver. The staff was and is always welcoming and caring. I choose to take part of the Symetria program voluntarily and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Not only are the staff like family, so are the individuals that pick Symetria too. Now days, customer service is pathetic and people are rude and most push you out the door, but not here. This place has the warm feeling like "The door is always open", and "how can we help you", We are here for you, it doesn't matter the time or the day, we care about you. You're a shining star and a success, not a failure. This place is secure, confidential, clean and has several options to help you along your journey. You are able to volunteer your time, make new friends and can help save a life, change a life and feel proud of who you are. Brian and John from Naperville are excellent group leaders (you are lucky if you get to meet them), and (Chris from Vernon Hills is a great counselor, who will make the time to ensure your needs are met). Symetria creates an environment where people feel safe, supported, and valued. The morning IOP group supported me through the hardest part of my life and I will forever be grateful for the amazing people I met. I think each one of us in the group looked forward to our time together in that healing place. Our counselor Brian is an expert in his field. He led our group through many difficult topics and conversations and did so with enormous compassion. Individual sessions with Brian were always insightful. Brian has a unique way of making each of his clients feel good about themselves. If you struggle with addiction and are looking for a place where you can start to make changes, I highly recommend Naperville's IOP program. Thank you for helping me change my life.

So I want to let anyone know who is looking into treatment Banyan was such a fantastic experience for me. I owe them such a debt of GRATITUDE. I am a middle-aged woman with kids who was struggling with drinking - life was just sad for me due to some pretty terrible trauma-I knew I needed to make a change and I came to Banyan. I was scared & ashamed. They treated me with such kindness. The program was well structured & professional. The financial obligation was manageable. Everyone there continues to check on my progress. I have completely been sober since I left and have a completely new life - A+ Banyan. I continue to have great friendships from my time there. Here is one thing i say to people who ask me about getting sober. I have not met one person -not one single person -who regrets getting sober. Banyan in lisle iL, is absolutely amazing! From the 30 day residential to the PHP THEY WERE SO WECOMING! The classes and groups are great. PHP is awesome to they take us to church, grocery shopping, Walmart, and we do events!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone getting sober.
