The Shepherd Center is the premier facility for our son's MS care. Dr. Ben Thrower is first and foremost in his leadership and importance to this facility, and to our family for the last 17 years. Beginning with him and continuing on to check-in, nursing staff, medical assistants, MRI specialist, there is a general feeling of understanding, empathy and caring. We are so thankful to Dr. Thrower and staff, and grateful for their outstanding medical care and service for our son! Thank You!

Shepherd has the best care in every department in the world
My experience was good but I wasn’t happy being sick 😁. I had two nurses they were both great . One of the nurse was an awesome individual she was caring, attentive, she was gentle she takes the time to listen and understand my needs. I forgot her name but she was an amazing nurse .

I've been to several hospitals, and none of them treated me properly during my section and recovery. I was recently there on May 30th for pain, and everyone from the information lady to the transport team told me I left did excellent work. I want to thank all the obstetric nurses and the doctors.

This place has saved my life! Great program great staff 5/15/25 an update since first review: I have now completed the program here at SRC and its been the most amazing beautiful experience here! From the 2 week residential then to the IOP living at Trullies for 90 days, then completing the rest of IOP while I moved to sober living. Everyone from the CEO Lee to the therapist's to the facilitators, to the behavioral health staff, peer support staff, case managers, and receptionist they all work together closely for each individual patient and their case while they are apart of SRC. Each phase of the program is held delicate for the patient's, to make it a smooth transition on each phase. They offer OP (outpatient) for the patient's that have graduated so they still get continued doctor's appointments, and still are able to have therapy with the therapist that has been with the patient through out the whole program. SRC has offered my life back to me, has taught me many coping skills, relapse prevention skills, trauma therapy, communication skills. They offer job support, housing, reentry programs, medication management. I HIGHLY recommend SRC for substance abuse and mental health treatment. They have a wonderful detox center, that doesn't make you feel shameful. If you are needing help, there is no reason to look anywhere else. This place has saved many lives from experience and me personally witnessing it myself.

I cannot say enough about this organization and the people who support it. I was in the PHP program and through thick and thin I was cared about and supported through each phase of my growth and development in recovery. I feel stronger and more hopeful today than ever before and looking forward to what the next chapter has to bring because of the work I did while here. Thanks SPRC!

This is not an ordinary treatment center. The staff genuinely cares about you and the groups are top quality. There’s no perfect treatment facility, but this one comes pretty close. My time has been much better than other places I’ve gone to because the people here make you feel like you truly matter.
I came into this place hopeless and feeling broken and they have supported me every step of the way. They pushed me at times, which was hard, but it has helped me grow in ways I never thought possible. I will forever be grateful that I chose Scottsdale Providence. I am a new person because of it.

This is an excellent residential program where you are not locked onto a unit. There is full access to the absolutely stunning campus. The staff is kind and can relate as most are also in recovery. The food is fantastic with home cooking by Matt, Jon & Eric. I received the best treatment through group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy & case management. The nursing staff is top notch & available 24/7. I highly recommend Spring Hill for the best substance abuse recovery experience out there.

This hospital is so professional. I stayed seven (7) days and the care was superior! The staff was so helpful and the organization was superb. I had all my serious symptoms addressed with my doctor and staff. The nurses and doctors and psychologists were excellent and always worked as a team. Food was great, and the groups were interesting. My stay was superior! Thank you all for the best care I have ever experienced.
I'm writing this review to express my sincere appreciation for Chris Vallecillo, a clinician who truly made a difference in my treatment at Relevance. I worked with Chris for a significant period, and his approach to therapy was incredibly effective for me.
Chris has a unique ability to connect with you on a personal level while maintaining a professional and insightful demeanor. He created a comfortable and trusting environment where I felt safe to openly discuss my challenges. His guidance was always practical and actionable, helping me develop coping mechanisms and strategies that genuinely improved my well-being. I particularly valued his ability to listen intently and offer perspectives that I hadn't considered, which was crucial for my progress.
I was genuinely disappointed to learn that Chris is no longer working at Relevance. His departure is a significant loss for the facility, as his expertise and compassionate approach are truly exceptional. For anyone seeking a clinician who is not only highly skilled but also deeply committed to their patients' success, Chris Vallecillo is, in my experience, outstanding. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors and hope that others will have the opportunity to benefit from his incredible support as I did.

I learned a lot of valuable skills at Relevance. Gracie was a phenomenal counselor who was empathetic with great boundaries. Latifah helped me so much with guidance, med management and life skills. Chelsea was incredible at teaching and explaining DBT. The only pressing issue I had during treatment was difficulty receiving case management needs. Other than that, I have made immense progress, and it was with the helping hands of relevance. Thank you Relevance team for your patience, dual diagnosis care, and laughter. Empowering experience for sure.

My experience here at Palmetto was fantastic, educational and therapeutic to say the least. Upon arrival I was immediately excepted into the most honorable community I have ever been a part of in my life. As long as you do the work and apply what is being taught to you it will change your life for the better. I have formed many lifelong bonds with great and genuine people made up of both staff and clients. I highly recommend this facility to anyone that desires to quit drinking and that is all it takes. I will be forever grateful for everyone here. God Bless Palmetto.
