About Maple Moon Recovery

The skilled team at Maple Moon Recovery has made it their mission to make your recovery journey as smooth as possible. They say that the discomfort of withdrawal and healing is often what holds you back from lasting sobriety. During the detox process, you’ll have trained and specialized staff on hand to provide medical evaluation, medical protocol, and high levels of support through therapy.

If you require higher levels of support, their residential treatment facility could be a good option. What stood out to me was their dedication to creating a homelike environment so that you feel comfortable and relaxed as you heal. They also make sure that staff are available 24/7 to help you when you need it. Treatment includes individual and group therapy sessions, informative workshops, and fun group activities and outings.

Past residents say the staff go out of their way to make meaningful relationships with you. They mention the yummy food and beautiful living facilities.

I would highly suggest you stay clear of maple moon. This facility is very unprofessional and dishonest. A lot of the reviews on here are either untrue or people that did not even attend maple moon. I would like to share a little bit of what has happened to me here. So I was supposed to come to maple moon for a 14 day stay and I only ended up staying 5 days 4/12 - 4/16 my stay here was nothing like I expected, a lot of the things they told both me and my mom turned out to be untrue, to me it seems like this place tells you a lot of stuff and really talks the place up and shows a lot of things and you get there and that’s not how it actually is, it seems as if they are conning people at the lowest point in there life just to make a dollar and I understand businesses have to make money but not in a dishonest way as maple moon does. I left maple moon early for several reasons one because they were trying to force me to do things I wasn’t supposed to do until after 7 days that I wasn’t comfortable with yet as well as a lot of the things I was told turned out to be untrue. As well as one of the meds they were giving to me I told them it helped and all the sudden it got taken away this next day which is very weird to me. I had no idea I even had sleeping medicine until about the 3rd day and they were supposed to be giving me that the whole time I guess somehow everyone forgot. I will not name any names but there are two people who work there that were very nice and helpful and I appreciate them. When I told staff I was leaving early they got very mad and told me I could not have any of my belongings and that I would have to fly home without my property and it was a back and forth deal for about 45 minutes until I was finally able to get my stuff which is not okay at all I almost was not able to leave and almost missed my flight. Onto the bigger issue I paid them 2k for my deductible that they forced me to pay to them the second day I was there, they would not let me pay my insurance directly which immediately threw up red flags in my head but I didn’t say anything about it. And I now just got some paperwork in the mail of maple moon trying to charge my insurance about 130k which comes out to 26k a day. it doesn’t matter if I was there for 2-3 months it still shouldn’t cost that, but I was there for 5 days!! They denied the claim for obvious reasons but still ended up paying for 7 days. Which I was not there for 7 days I was there for 5. When I got home the first thing I told my girlfriend was something like this is going to happen and turns out I was right. I have tried to resolve this issue with the people who run this company but it has been impossible to get any information out of them they aren’t not willing to work with me at all to resolve this and will not send me any information which tells me all that I need to know that something is not right here. They are avoiding me asking about the 2k deductible that I over paid by a lot for which wasn’t an issue until now when it’s been impossible to get anywhere with them. I would highly suggest to stay clear of this place because that is absolutely insurance fraud and complete bad business!! And I am now going to have to use the resources I have at hand to get this taken care of seems how maple moon does not want to work with me at all, it has been several days of me trying to be nice and I’ve had enough of them trying to string me along. I learned about a lot of fishy things that go on here in my short stay both from staff and from my own experience!

Accepted Insurance

Maple Moon Recovery works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

12-step icon12-Step

Participants engaged in 12 step programs receive intensive peer coaching (sponsorship) and community support. Spiritual development as a means of achieving psychological and emotional healing and growth is the cornerstone of 12 step recovery, but religious affiliations are not required. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public, though specialized formats are available, including groups for seniors, teens, and family members. Evening, night, and day meetings are conducted year-round in most communities.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the "real world" after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

When an individual is in denial about their substance use disorder, their loved ones may organize a drug intervention in California. This effort involves gently but assertively confronting the individual about their substance use and sharing how it has affected those who care about them. A professional interventionist may also attend this gathering. Their expertise with intervention services can prove helpful in guiding the conversation to a positive result.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

During the first phase of recovery – detox – it is crucial to have 24-hour clinical care in California. This care provides constant monitoring in order to ensure your safely and comfort as you progress through the withdrawal process for drug or alcohol addiction. Licensed professionals prescribe medications to treat withdrawal symptoms and provide frequent monitoring to ensure your safely as addictive toxins leave your system.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image

LGBTQ Program

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image

Military Program

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

Trauma therapy is a structured approach used by therapists to help you heal from a past traumatic event. Your therapist works with you to identify the traumatic memory and process the information so you experience emotional healing and a sense of safety and stability.

eye-movement iconEye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing

While in rehab treatment, you may work on developing various life skills to help you in long term recovery. These may include resilience, interpersonal skills, and self awareness. The focus will be on developing healthy habits for self care and relationships so you have the skills you need to manage day to day life.

Recreational therapy is included in alcohol and drug addiction treatment to focus on engaging you in healthy activities that reduce your cravings and improve your overall health and well being. When you participate in group sports, art, or nature walks, you develop new interests and find a meaningful way to spend your time and reduce your cravings.

The goal of creative arts therapy in California is to encourage growth and transformation. It can be used in individual and group settings with both children and adults. Options include movement, music, and painting.

Maple Moon isn't just a treatment center; it's a haven. From the moment I began the initial assessment to the day of my discharge, every single member of the staff radiated genuine care, not just for my recovery, but for me as an individual. This is a truly loving and safe space for anyone seeking help through residential treatment. In my time at Maple Moon, not a single day passed where I didn't feel seen and truly heard. Honestly, I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for the incredible staff. They didn't just guide me; they saved my life.
