I've been establishment in 3 separate VA hospitals and I have a few issues I've been dealing with that requires consistent care. Of the 3, my experience with Puget has been fantastic. I can't say the same about the other two. I want to give high praise specifically to the pharmacy techs. After switching my seizure meds, they called and ensured I was on the right track and was very informative. I've spoken with about 4 separate techs at this establishment and they've all been absolutely delightful to speak with. They've always gone above and beyond to make sure I was set straight and fixed any issue I might be having. I had communication issues with my personal care team (who had ignored me for an entire week) who went back and forth with the pharmacy until the issue was fixed. This was at 4:50 P.M on a Friday when everyone gets off work, but the tech (I wish I remembered her name,) was determined to fix this issue no matter what. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with this team and I appreciate all your efforts. Any of the heads read this, you should take that team out for lunch or give them a bonus.

So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

I feel like it needs to be said that no one will kick an addiction in 10 days. Even the traditional 28 days won't end the addiction. There are no shortcuts to the life long journey you are embarking on, if you choose sobriety. What Schick does - is give you the tools, and take away the cravings so you can handle this huge life shift.I have been abusing alcohol for 8 years and finally decided I needed professional help. Schick is working so far for me. I've been 81 days sober as of today. What the treatment is like:There is a daily schedule of meds, vitals, and group. You will spend the mid morning through mid afternoon either completing a sleepy (propofol conscious sedation treatment where they ask you a series of questions related to getting sober, and staying sober) and counseling, or a duffy (ipecac aversion treatment where they give you ipecac and then have you drink alcohol. you quickly become ill to associate drinking with nausea.). Late afternoon are various groups.Pros:-The medical director at the hospital is a true patient advocator. Sabrina is incredible.-The community. I felt safe sharing in group, and gained some friends I imagine will be with me for life.-The counselor John. I've been going to therapy the past ten years, but HE is my favorite person I've talked through my mental health with. Compassionate, empathetic, just a good listener, and has great life advice. He's been there done that, and helped me see some great perspective. His lectures are also my favorite.-The program. Schick gives all of the same literature that any other rehab gives, but also has the aversion therapy, and sedation treatment.-The resources. The media wall, the counselors, the lectures, the movies, the hypnosis videos, the 4 agreements, etc. There are so many resources it was hard to take them all in. But theyre all powerful and have continued to help me outside of Schick.Cons:-The nursing staff. For the most part I didn't have a problem. But some of the staff had no bedside manner whatsoever. Some said misogynistic comments. Some did room checks late at night with little regard to patients sleeping. Some argued with other nurses in front of me. Either the nurse was great or the nurse was pretty unprofessional. And I didn't see much inbetween.-Not a diverse group at all. As a black queer female I felt out of place here. It's mostly white men in their 30s and 40s.

I transfered to Wecare for a while it's way closer to my home. But I'm not daily, and they will work with you, from where you are. They'll get around all the unnecessary red tape and BS they can, and every time I make my dose, it's high 5s and smiles all the way from the staff. They make you feel wanted, and you can't exaggerate how much some of us need that now. To me, it's worth the extra few miles... I'm driving though, not everyone has been as lucky as me on that so this is just my calculation and experience. Chin up.Anyway yeah it's great for a methadone place. They're totally good enough. And in this industry that should be celebrated.

reSTART Life Bellevue Campus is located in Bellevue, Washington. They offer residential treatment, partial hospitalization treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and traditional outpatient services for adolescents and young adults who are struggling with behavioral addictions. Their primary focus is on helping people overcome tech addictions. r
I attended ReStart in Dec 2016 to 2017. The structure of the inpatient program really helped to fill the time that gaming and tech had taken (which was every waking minute of every day for many years for me, I felt like an extreme case).Taking the time to sit in the present moment and day was something that was simple yet something I really never did since I was 12. I entered when I was 24, nearly 25. I'm 33 now. Restart showed me how great life could be with people who struggled with their own problems. None of them had the exact pattern I did but they had their troubles with tech use as a distraction from family and school issues.Therapy 1 on 1 really helped to dive into why I turned to gaming. Dr. Cash was really understanding and suggested various books and 12 step meetings to attend. I attend those meetings to this day.Crossfit really helped to get my body moving when I was in restart and it really lifted my depression. The most invaluable part is still being friends and near people who were in the program when I was. As time has gone on, some people have moved further away but there is still a core of us who live a healthy and social life together and have progressed further into our work lives and schools than we probably never imagined accomplishing. If you as a teen or young adult thinks you have an issue with tech and you can't stop, I'd really recommend ReStart if you want to get out of those chains and get the tools to live a full and healthy life.If you are a parent with a kid who has tech issues around VR or gaming or something that takes up enormous amounts of time in your child's day and life, maybe reStart is the place to look. I'd make sure you're limiting tech time from a young age before they are teens. I was in that situation as a teen and I found so many work arounds. My mom tried. I was lost at that point.Restart gave me a chance to restart my life in a sense. Free from the chains of gaming. That's not to say I've had my fair share of relapses, but now I have the recipe so to speak and that first step is accepting help when I cannot do this alone.Get help if you're stuck like I was. Time is too precious to let slip by.I suffer from agoraphobia and have an intense fear of open areas. I imagine that was due to the amount of time I spent indoors and such. The tools at reStart and time away from gaming allowed me to feel comfortable enough to go out for a hike at Mailbox Peak in 2018 or 2019 and climb 90% of the way up. The attached picture is from that hike. It's thanks to reStart that I was able to do that as well as the friends I made from the program. I'm really grateful. For anyone with questions about my experience feel free to reach out.

Overall, a very very helpful environment. The staff were incredible, therapists and direct care alike, and I made tremendous personal progress through my stay in the program. The best part of restart is the individualized care and 1 on 1 therapy that every client gets. There's a lot of meeting you where you're at, and working at base level problems, past just the addiction that I found invaluable. The LBP is the program's biggest weakness with how "one size fits all" it appears to be, however I was glad to find that I was able to change it to fit my needs. I just wish that it were written with this in mind, as it feels something like a relic of the past in the current environment of the restart program. Groups are very hit or miss, as they can be very productive and interesting or spiral off into endless tangents based on the clientele and how well the therapist leading it can moderate discussion. The program is also very LGBT friendly, and I met the most supportive and awesome people there, both clients and staff.

The lady that I talked to on the phone Hilarie Cash was very friendly and listened to my problem of having video game addiction, This clinic is very nice on the inside and takes away all your electronics at the door, Even though I never went here. I will say that it is an amazing and well done kind of place. If you want to know more about them then visit their website or call ahead of time to find out how to treat your video game addiction. The people here I called and talked to were very friendly and I had no problem with their service whatsoever, would recommend for anyone who faces an addiction to technology and gaming

Chris is the best psychiatrist ever and he's at Sound! I liked Beth but Chris is just amazing. He's the reason I actually love and look forward to going there, and it's HARD to find a good psych! I pray he stays with Sound for a long, long time and if he leaves I might have to leave with him LOL. The first psych I've ever had that actually understands some of the things I've been through (like gangstalking) without looking at me like I'm nuts. The girl at the front desk is kind and I enjoy talking to her when I wait. (Alexandria I think is her name.) You guys deserve a raise!I think your experience with a clinic is based off your experience with the people who work there. If you connect or end up growing on someone it becomes a good experience. I think a lot of people hating on Sound are probably not owning up to their side of whatever it is they're complaining about. I learned this in my 4th step (AA). People like to point fingers but not take a look at themselves. I guarantee most the low ratings are due to angry people who are either off their meds, just spiritually sick and projecting their hatred at others or just addicts who are not getting their way.

I went there twice, in 2015 and 2017. I have no regrets by either experience regardless of how different those experiences where. The staff is caring and will help you as long as you are helping yourself. They will help you with your needs with a great set of classes, medical care, exercise, and other activities.BUT, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO MAKES IT. They provide you the tools to deal with whatever you are struggling with. And can become life friends with.Thank you Sea Mar for helping me with my PTSD/addiction

This is such a beautiful place to visit! I believe it's also part of the Meridian Park. There are a couple walking trails, an open field area, a covered picnic bench area, 2 open parking lots, and beautiful trees all over. It's peaceful and typically super private, as there are not usually many, if any people there. It's a hidden secret! We go late night and play with our dogs...and they love it too :-) We've even met regulars and now have doggie play dates! It's really a perfect secret spot!

My recent experience at this hospital was nothing short of amazing. The last time I was in a hospital (over 20 years ago in California), it was a completely different and not so great experience. But this place is on another level when it comes to patient care. From the moment I arrived via paramedics, I felt well taken care of. The staff placed me in the **"Green Zone"**, and one of the team members reassured me, *"You re in good hands here this is the VIP section!"* That confidence was spot-on.My nurses, **Alexa and Alex**, were absolutely incredible. They checked on me regularly, ensuring I was comfortable and that everything was going smoothly. Their attentiveness and kindness made a huge difference in my stay.Once I was moved to a room, the care continued to impress. All the nurses specially Jay were punctual, professional, and genuinely concerned about my well-being. It s rare to find a hospital where the staff consistently goes above and beyond, but this team does it effortlessly. If you ever need medical care, I **highly recommend** this hospital they truly put their patients first!

The onboarding process with Bicycle Health was pretty much seamless and intuitive. I was able to schedule my assessment to within just a couple of days, and the clinician who conducted my initial assessment, and who will remain my ongoing care professional, proved to be a very good listener, showed compassion, and demonstrated her extensive knowledge regarding substance abuse and addiction. I was able to start Suboxone treatment immediately. I highly recommend Bicycle Health to anyone in need of the kind of health care they offer.

Very unique services for addiction/co-occuring mental health probs. I swore off rehabilitation services a few years back, but a case manager took me here with high confidence I would take to the program. She was right, and it has definitely been a huge part of my support in obtaining and maintaining sobriety. I have also referred a few friends of mine who have similarly shied away from services and rehab centers for being mistreated for substance use issues. :)

Comparing the Cost of Rehab in Seattle

The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.

These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
