All the ladies up front are really nice along with all the nurses. I'm glad that somehow they can deal with some of the stuff and people they have to deal with. If I haven't been going here since they opened (before the fentanyl we have now) I would never think any of the nurses and the gals at the desk to be so nice all the time. Especially when I'm in line behind someone being a real POS to the ladies when it's never their fault if there's any problems. It's always because of decisions the junkies make. I hate asking them for anything because they have to deal with so much already I hate adding to their pile. I've personally had a few times the nurses have helped me when they could have just told me to dose and leave. I can make this review a lot longer, but I'm gonna stop here for now. I don't bounce around from different clinics, but I wouldn't bet on anywhere else doing such a good job

I have had several appointments with Karen Krikorian at the Kent location. She is insightful, easy to talk to, and understanding. I feel like she is determined to figure out my medication combinations. She also has other suggestions that may help with my diagnosis. There is no pressure and she is very patient. Thank you for caring, Karen.

My experience with Karen Krikorian was much better than I expected based on my prior interactions with psychiatrists from other organizations. She was efficient and sympathetic while working with me to find alternative medicines for my condition.

I just wished I knew about the John Volken Academy before I sent our son to Lakeside Milam twice and once to Schick Shadle. As we thought that they knew what they were doing and they really was only into it for the insurance money. No communication about how our son was doing or what we need to do for him. I just don't understand like they tell you it takes villageput they refuse to communicate with us. I just wish things were different then maybe he would have been alive today. Here you think you are doing the right thing but don't really know until it is to late.

The staff at Valley Cities in Kent, that worked with my family member, are absolutely amazing human beings. The Doctor listened to his concerns, respectfully addressed them - without passing judgement and made him feel like he is a whole person, again.
Jeromy, Akeeli, Tami and Teri, not only inspired and encouraged my family member, but they went above and beyond what I expected. I could not let their hard work, support to family members and dedication to helping their clients go unnoticed.
Thank you, Valley Cities! The journey may not end right here but because of your care, concern and treatment - our faith has gained strength and my heart has received the much needed fuel that is necessary to keep going. Thank you for allowing God to use your passion and purpose to inspire Hope. You are appreciated!

Kent is the 83rd most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $59330. This is comparable to the average cost of $56539 for addiction treatment in Washington and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Kent vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Kent. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Kent that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Kent.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Kent, with 8 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Aetna is the 2nd most popular with 7 treatment centers accepting it followed by Kaiser Permanente in 3rd accepted by 7 drug rehabs.
Kent has the 234th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in King county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Kent or King county as a whole.
In 2023, Kent had the 286th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 95 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Kent. All values are per 100,000 population.
