St gregorys saved my life. This facility and the staff are all amazing. I found out alot about myself while i was there.I made the decision to go on my own but i know god had a hand in it. I accepted god when i was there. Jack Dewitt is an amazing councilor if your truly ready to kick you addiction this is the place to do it. I was there for 35 days the whole month of December plus a few days. I hit i milestone this past week of 4 months completely sober. This facility works if you work the program and YOU WANT IT. I gave my testimony of my story at our church last Sunday and i had several people come up to me and ask me to help them and told me how strong i was to do that. I owe my life to St Gregory. Thank you all so much!!

St Greg s saved my life. I went there on the verge of suicide from depression and anxiety treated with alcohol. I am an alcoholic.The comprehensive program offered there helped me to heal my mind, body and spirit focusing on my spirituality, exercise, diet, meditation and CBT.I encourage you to really dive into each of these areas while there. I am 156 days sober today. I have been using a combination of therapy, sober apps, online and in-person AA. I ve been working out 5 days a week- outside if possible, eating better, staying hydrated, getting enough rest and relying on my Higher Power to lead me, and I haven t had a single true craving for alcohol since I left treatment. It has truly been a miracle.

This is a place full of love. All the staff was just incredible. I am very blessed to have St. Gregory recovery center to be a part of my journey.

Visited again on a Friday afternoon nice day not as busy as normal though. Always pleasant plenty of parking spots and on time appointments.

I can't express the gratitude I have for the nurses and their aides in helping my Dad find his way. Tammy and Mandy are FANTASTIC!! Sandy, Hilda, Skye, Bonwara, Rob, and everyone else. If I didn't mention your name, I'm sorry. I'm not very good with names. But I don't have a single complaint. The staff were very caring in the way they helped my Dad. His name is Harry. A220. I just hope the right people see this. They deserve high praise!!!!

They have treated me good at the VA. It is still an organization that is government ran, so it isn't exactly efficient, but they have some good, caring people working there.

I would like to Thank All concerned with my recent care as it was exceptional...I especially would like to Thank Diane Torres and Denice for the extra mile they went to get me through the ordeal my sickness brought upon me.I was certainly willing to somehow give them an added appreciation for them.Also , a special Thank You to Brittany,she was very instrumental in my getting back to what some would consider normal..hahahaThis hospital treats people very well,of course fixing so much food at a time leaves room for improvement but the care was exceptional....I would highly recommend care at Unity Point/ St.Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids..!

From my anesthesiologist, Dr. Becker(? I believe), to pre-op nurses (I'm sorry, I don't have their names ), to the chaplain who helped with my medical POA and advanced directive (Brent? I'm so sorry, it's fuzzy, now, I'm only an hour post-op... And I'm terrible with names) to post-op nurses, Natalie and Audrey S. (boyfriend remembered their names for me)... The whole team was amazing. (don't mind me as I write this so close to getting home) I loved my ENT, Dr. Geissler-Spellman. I was made comfortable the entire way and they made sure I had all the information I needed both before and after. They made sure I felt comfortable going under and ensured I was comfortable after surgery, too. I am amazed at how quickly everything went and how efficient they all are.Thank you all for your outstanding care, everyone! (pre-op photo for tax)

I went to Roes Krantz to see Corey Freeze and he s the best , help walk me through it and mellow me out. Make me see the right side very pleasant individual to talk to. Very understanding the counselor get a hold of Rhodes Krantz and see Corey Freeze

Great place to heal. My therapists there were absolutely wonderful and helped me face myself and my demons. Would recommend this for everyone in need.

I was told by my attorneys not to go to Rosecrance but all the staff were very pleasant and were also very helpful. Sam especially was very patient with me and extremely helpful when I used Rosecrance services.

One of the best VAs I have been to. My spouse is a travel nurse so I have seen many. Thank you to the staff for your professionalism and dedication to us Veterans.

The care that I received was spectacular. Yet, being in the ER overnight before a bed was available was interesting. To hear the staff at the counters and the Chief of Police comments about DEI was mind blowing, upsetting, and sad. The comments and how they felt were mean, ignorant, and callus about it made my time in the ER extremely uncomfortable while I was being treated by the kind nurses. I asked questions. The response I received was nothing less than racist. I was glad that I was treated by nurses that were professional, kind, and concerned about the care of a Veteran, but to the others, a disgrace. To compare DEI to Affirmative action was truly mind blowing and ignorance. That's just part of the conversations I've heard. SMH

I have been to the VA in St Louis New Orleans all over the country of many different VA's. Iowa City and Fayetteville Arkansas are probably two of the best. I only had one bad experience at Iowa City when an asshole doctor didn't want to do his job in the ER. But everyone else there is awesome. I've received more help from Iowa City than any other hospital or VA care facility in the country. I don't live in the area anymore but I still travel over 100 mi to use Iowa city's VA. To me it's the best.

My experience and friendships that I gathered will last me a lifetime. The facility was amazing along with staff. The meals were amazing, Bring comfortable shoes you'll get plenty of walking. this changed my life, my families, friends and coworkers. You get back what you put into it. You will come out a new person.

Really really loved this place! Was here twice a few years back for suicide and self harm attempts. The staff were so nice, the beds were honestly comfortable. The food was honestly so good! Staff let us have extra snack in the evening if we are 75% or more of our meals. Of course, I always ate 100%. I absolutely loved room time, rec time, tv time, snack time, etc. Wish I had a roommate but other then that it was great! We stayed in the unit all day but it was still so much fun, we made the best of it.

Come get well with us. It's never too late to get yourself on the right track.

I was pretty sick, I saw Dr. Jon Greg Thomas, he assessed me and prescribed meds to help with my recovery. He was attentive, caring, and always there to help me feel better. Excellent doctor.Update: my follow up appointment was great as well. Feeling so much better and still received excellent care.

I had real good nurses and an awesome doctor that took care of me my name is Margie l Lewis when I was in a chance of care your nurse Louis and Alex were awesome all the whole staff was outstanding but my night care from Lewis and the overnight Alex I mean I couldn't have been in better arms I appreciate them so very much the whole hospital did an awesome job with me cuz I fell and hurt my broke my wrist my shoulders my back and they treated me like a queen I like to thank all the nurses and attentive care for the awesome job they did of keeping me secure and helping me all the way thank you1

The employees were very pleasant and helpful. They took into account that I had 2 appointments back to back, and made sure I got to my second appointment on time.

I brought my brother in for injuries received in a motorcycle accident.The ED Nurse and Doctor were GREAT!!! They addressed his pain and got his scans done right away. Fortunately scans were all good and he didn't receive any serve injuries. He was just banned up pretty bad. They were compassionate and through with everything they did. He was sent home with a easy to follow care plan and provided all the equipment needed to address his injuries and the bronchitis he was diagnosed with. Best experience!!!

St greg s helped me take the time and learn the tools I needed to get down to my core of what my addiction was. I really recommend going there with an open mind and digging deep into yourself and your past. Figure out where it all started and why it continued. All of the tools you learn there will make you as successful as you want to be. I would definitely recommend St Greg s to my loved ones.

I was blessed to be able to come to St Gregory Recovery Center for help with alcohol addiction. I am over one year sober now thanks to the caring and knowledgeable staff. Their approach is evidence based and scientific, but also faith based. I experienced God working in my life to help take away my urges to drink and change my thought patterns. I also learned to live the 7 virtues with a great group of peers who all supported each other! Thanks to what I learned at St. Gregory, with a clear and sober head I am able to address and fix other flaws and weaknesses as well. Don t waste your time anywhere else.

I m 24, did my 4 in the Marne corps, and am living a great life but I did go here when I was 9 years old, I had severe anger issues but after 10 months, came out a completely different kid, and I d say it was helpful, there s definitely more kids that need this experience.

I went to Orchard Place on October 14th of 2022, and I was discharged on April 24th of 2023. It s been a tad over a year since then, so I m finally gonna type a review.Orchard Place is not what people say it is. People will complain and say it was utterly horrible and everyone there sucks. Although, even though it s whoever s opinion that said that, it s wrong. (Jkjk.)For a 6 month and 10 day stay there, I can CONFIDENTLY say that all of the staff, despite the house or grade you re in, are the most kind people you will ever come across. Yes, they play by the book for structure and seem strict, but they re just doing their job. All of the staff in the houses, TC, school, etc. etc. They re all great.At Orchard Place, while helping you learn to manage your behaviors, traumas, and whatnot, the staff will teach you proper discipline, management, life skills, etc. They also give you options for anything and everything. Everyone has a different mind with different problems, and Orchard Place accommodates to that opinion (of sorts?).Overall, Orchard Place is more than helpful. I would definitely recommend going there if you genuinely need it.

My child was there for 6 months. She is now working full time, has her own home and making better choices. She was 14 when she entered. She ia now an adult. Don't let guilt keep you from doing what's best for your child. I have worked in mental health field. If it needs to be, I say you can't go wrong.

Great staff, excellent peer support during my stay. By the end of treatment, I saw life in an entirely different light. I now see that a sober life is beautiful and well worth living. Thank you, Prairie Ridge, for bringing me back to myself and giving my children their mother back.

I have heard very good thing about this place! I am trying to have a loved one come here for treatment. I had met a representative from this facility and I really liked what she stated about this place. I really do believe in this program!

Been a huge staple for my recovery and they have seen me back at my worst. Now I have been in recovery for almost 2 years. Thanks to all the staff nurses and providers they have an all in one healthcare facility for people with chemical dependency. And the thing that matters most to me is they actually care.

Alma is the most passionate caring insightful staff , Finley has wisdom far beyond her years , Travis will give you a chance to change your life if your willing to work for it this program opened my eyes to more then my addiction , it taught me to develop more then just my skills for addiction

The five stars I'm giving is only for the outpatient part. Rachel is a great counselor and knows her stuff. I learn a lot from her. Jessica Hartz is the best employee at Adds. She bent over backwards to get me into inpatient. She is truly a blessing. She's a really good counselor also. The staff down at inpatient needs reevaluated and they need to give them UAS. If they want their clients to stay clean down there they shouldn't let their employees do meth. If I wasn't so serious about my recovery and If it was early in my recovery I'm sure I would have walked out and got high but by the grace of God I'm 106 days sober today.

I had a great experience. This time at least. It took me a few try s but I never gave up and always made it back. I really admire what those people do there. They laugh when I laugh and cry when I cry. They were the rock when I needed them. I Forever love those people.

Their inpatient treatment center is definitely one of the best in Iowa. The counselors there are very good.

I don t know about the drs but their rehab program is the best they work on your mental health and get to the root causes of your addiction I was also in a lot of physical pain and I got to go to physical therapy and they were great also

Regarding the walk-in intake, So far I have done intake and the process for that was long. They started at 10am but I had already been there since 8:12am waiting. I was the last person they accepted that day totalling 4 of us. I had to wait until each person in front of me was done, about 45 mins to 1 hour each. I was there a total of about 5 hours beginning to end. At the end you schedule a follow-up and it was 3 weeks out. Once you check in theoretically you could leave but about 2 hours in the called me in to verify my financial info. So I just stayed.

I have not been at your facility but my son has and he s doing great. Thank you so much for all your help done
