Attending the family workshop at the Blanchard Institute provided insightful information on SUD and Mental Health on sets and coping mechanisms. Definitely thorough, engaging, and inspiring to see clients and supportive love ones share in hopeful education for recovery.

Asheville Recovery was the perfect place for me to begin my recovery journey. From the cleanliness and professionalism at the lodge to the structure and balance provided at groups in clinical, I couldn't imagine a better fit. The staff, my therapist, and my case manager were amazing and very instrumental in my continued recovery process. I can't thank Sarah Karges (my amazing therapist) and Sarah Conner (my amazing case manager) enough for their support and guidance. I would strongly recommend ARC to anyone who is ready to make the next step towards recovery in a safe and supportive environment.

I came to Asheville and Otter House To stop drinking as I had a huge problem. My expectations were far exceeded. Otter House So much more than that. It gave me a strong foundation to go out and not only stop drinking, but to live a much better life through identifying my values, what’s important to me, my perceptions, paradigm everything. The counselors are outstanding, and if you’re willing to put in the mental and emotional and spiritual work, you will come out With a fresh, renewed outlook on life that will guide you through the rest of your journey. I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and the people who work there. My experience was Wonderfully life-changing. Live or die, that was my choice. I chose to live and to enter Pavillon for help in 2010. I can honestly say that it was the best and most important decision I have ever made because Pavillon was instrumental in saving my life. I attended the primary and extended care programs. The staff's knowledge of addiction, experience, sincerity and personal care built trust, hope and faith. Leaving Pavillon with a plan designed to further my recovery was a tremendous help. Pavillon's alumni resources are invaluable. Meetings, workshops and opportunities for service are just a few. I will be eternally grateful to the staff at Pavillon and their mission for helping to keep me sober for more than 14 years.

This is a great program with a great staff. The group therapy experience was new for me but I adjusted quickly. There was a good variety of different lectures that I was able to gain something from.

One of the best investments I've made in a long time was to spend 4 weeks in a total health and wellness immersion at Structure House. I tapped into my greatest and most authentic self while there with my wife. Total body, mind and spirit work. Life changing and transformative. I highly recommend that anyone and everyone give this gift to themselves. You will reset, recharge, rejuvenate, reawaken, rediscover, and retransform. They offer a lecture series entitled, "Digging Deeper" by Life Coach Dr. Lacy Frazier. Wow is all I can say! A must visit experience.

This place gave me a kind of peace I didn’t think I’d find. The staff really got what trauma does to you, and I felt safe for once. Being around other women made it easier to open up. I’m stronger now. I just wish there’d been more family stuff.

I joined a gym and have made a circuit with ropes,TRX , weights, rowing machine, medicine ball, crunches and other core exercises! I am going 3 times a week and riding my bike, thank you for your help to get me back to feeling fit! Thank you to Dr P. and Irina I brought my LDL way down and hope to stay on this healthy and fit journey! Thank you to Lacy and Sue for helping me to focus my Why. I want to be and feel healthy and fit! Now when things try to distract me I focus in on my Why and it keeps me on the journey to experience life’s ups and downs with the strongest and most present me possible. My apartment was amazing the grounds are kept beautifully! I can’t express in words how grateful I am! I felt so spoiled! I met some really amazing people there, who shared their experiences, difficulties and shared their strategies. I am so thankful to my husband for finding Structure House and being willing to invest in my health, fitness, and wellbeing! Brighter Start has been a true blessing in my life. Everyone from start to finish has a genuine heart to see people be better. They actually take the time to care for people who are ill which can lead to the use of drugs, alcohol, etc.. So I’m glad I was able to learn about myself, and get healing for myself that way when those tough times come I know how to navigate through life in a healthy way. I’m better because of this place. S/O everybody! I would type names but I don’t want to miss anyone because it was truly a team effort, and everybody worked together to push me, and get me to where I am, and where I’m going! They are very supportive, helpful, kind, caring, and they are amazing at what they do. I never thought I would see the day that I could say I'm clean. They gave me my second chance at life. You are always welcomed when you come in with a smile and positive vibes, kind words, and would help you with any thing he can in an amazingly timely matter (kent), the doctor has a warm motherly care about her and will help you anyway she can to figure out what is best for you ( Hannah). The group is amazing he doesn't stick to whatever he thinks no he is open and down to talk about whatever you need to help you move forward (colton). If you need any help with living situation or finding financial help or anything he is there 100% (tod). You need someone to just be there and let u let it out or give u honest feedback that she is the best one to go to she has been there at any moment when I needed her (jamie).one more I definitely can't forget she is so loving and caring she always makes u want to smile, and be around beside the candy on her desk, she keeps you on track and helps you with all and any needs (sherry) I can't say how greatful I am for each and everyone of them

JFK is a wonderful place to go whether its your first time going to treatment or your 10th time. They always welcome you with open arms. Their is no judgment. Every patient is treated with the upmost respect and Dignity that they never get to experience in their regular lives. I get emotional talking about the staff there. They are the most kind hearted accepting and warm people I've ever met. I cannot express how much I appreciate everyone who works there. Please call them and ask about a bed if you need help, they will immediately start working on getting you a bed. I wouldn't go to any other treatment center in Western NC

I recommend anyone who struggles with addiction of any kind attend ADATC in Black Mountain!!

This is a VA Community Care Approved location! Ive been going to ketamine sessions here and it's been transforming. The staff was caring, and the environment felt calm and welcoming. The sessions give me a sense of clarity and peace. I’m so grateful for this type of treatment. They have other various treatments here as well if Ketamine doesn't work. Highly recommend if you feel that medications aren't helping. 🙏

Applying for Bethel Colony of Mercy was the first stop in the steps I’ve taken to turn my life around from a life style of very many colors and wrong choices. The staff and guidance that are involved with this Christ recovery transformation center are beyond immaculate. Without those individuals one on one advisory, classroom lessons, daily tasks, genuine fellowship, and of course the power of God I wouldn’t be making the right choices now to be reunited with my loved ones. Or, have my life together by any means of doing this “thing” called life all on my own. I am forever grateful for everyone that god placed into my life through making the decision to go to bethel colony of mercy 😇 Sending prayers to the women’s and men’s campus’ for their strength, unity, protection, faith, and healing. As well as to all of their loved ones who are or have been affected by any of the students, or student alumni's long suffering. May you all be blessed beyond measure with gods abundance. Praise the Lord for Bethel Colony of Mercy. This was my first step to surrendering to Jesus Christ. Bethel helped me break chain after chain, standing beside me, on the Word of God, delivering me from the sin problem rooted in all addiction. I was given biblical counseling that allowed the Word of God to divide and heal my soul. This ministry is aware that Jesus is the only answer, and miracles are happening in the hearts and minds of those they serve. They have upheld their commitment for decades, without wavering, that the Word of God is all sufficient for applying the truth of Jesus Christ to not only break chains, but to experience real healing. Bethel hosts the Presence of God, and allows men and women who’s lives have been devastated by sin and destruction to surrender to the Power and Love of a God who is VERY MUCH ALIVE AND WORKING in the hearts of those Bethel serves. Many of their staff have been risen up from the ashes themselves and have led the way with their own testimony and faith in the only One who is able to free us from our chains. Bethel operates as the Body of Christ is meant to function, in Spirit and in Truth. Bethel is like family. In the Presence of God, EVERYTHING changes, I thank God for Bethel’s obedience in not compromising, because it allowed an avenue for me to come face to face with the One my soul loves!

Me and my wife went thru the program together it was awesome that they do that there we got to do marriage counseling but the main thing is that you get to get rooted and grounded in the word of God there the pastors there are amazing and on point with the Bible I can honestly say that me and my wife grew so much in the Lord there all I can say is if you want to break the chains of addiction go to bethel and focuse on you growing close to the Lord cause that's how you break the chains and I can say that bethel is well maintained Phil Lambert and the house keeping crew keeps it nice and clean I was part of that crew and the women's campus is so beautiful and they even allow people that smoke to smoke there they got a smoking place and me and my wife have been talking about going back in about a year just so we can take 65 more days to just grow in the Lord and hear the word everyday thank you bethel

Courtney (works somewhere in the building) is extremely kind. Laura Taylor and Christine Hoener absolutely saved my life. They are the best care team in my life. They are both genuinely concerned about me. They treat me like a human and I’m actually heard by them. If Christine ever leaves, I don’t know what I would do. When I first met her she saw I was in crisis without me opening my mouth. It was the first time I felt like someone believed me. She listened to me and gave me the correct diagnosis! Laura Taylor is kind and caring. I can’t say enough good things about her. I am so fortunate to have Laura as my therapist. I see many have horrible experiences at mental health. My only bad experience is with a lot of those front desk staff on the 4th floor. I even had to swallow air real hard not to lose my composure. I often wonder why do they bother working at a place while adding to people’s traumas. A lot of them behind that window have absolutely no compassion. The 3rd floor staff have been very kind.

I really respect Dr. Strickland and my quality of life has improved because of her assistance in my mental health journey

I can't thank Peggy Lombardo (Alumni Coordinator) enough for saving a family member's life. She befriended "Will" long before he was willing to seek help. He was never alone in life because she checked on him regularly and gently coaxed him into getting the help that he desperately needed. Approximately 7 months after reaching out, Will made the decision to better his life by accepting Peggy's offer of help. Once his decision was made, Peggy instantly started moving mountains to get him the help he needed. She was in daily contact with his family offering her advice, supplying helpful contact information, and even talking him through his fears when they became too great and he wanted to run. As a result of Peggy's unrelenting quest to help Will, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Midwood Addiction Program where he received counseling, housing, a sense of community, independence, and gradually took control of his life again. A little over a month after graduating, Will has found employment and is ready to start this new healthy chapter in his life. When asked if he ever talks to Peggy anymore, the answer is "yes! she's full of valuable resources.". How do you thank someone who has saved the life of someone you thought was lost forever? There is no repayment plan that could ever be enough for this angel on earth. Peggy will always be our angel. She truly has an amazing gift and we are forever in her debt. XO

Great place! Coming into this I was a little skeptical about being treated well. The staff and therapist took their time with me, to tend to my needs as a new patient. I had some bumps along the way until I met Evie Dillard. She was so helpful to me by giving me extra resources to get ready to exit treatment. I’m talking about food, shelter and even information about great jobs. I started working, got a place to rest my and made great friend for life. Thank you so much, Evie.

Lemme tell you about the housing situation 1st. I read the good reviews and the horrible and the bad kinda concerned me. I can tell you the bad was not only exaggerated but most just someone salty and spreading total BS. There are no rodents and I've never been to a house that had zero bugs not even a fly before I got here, not even my father's house. Ok so these 2 floor some with a upper smoking/ lounge deck are nice nice! 4 bedroom 3 full double sink bathrooms , two with walk-in shower , I bath / shower and a half bath by living room. It's fully stocked with any pans coffee pot anything you need. The staff are some of the nicest ppl and you absolutely get to know them. You are treated pretty much how you treat them. Just be kind! Midwood center was the one I went to and the staff there are always awesome. If you need something just speak up, I've seen ppl come through and expect everyone to be mind readers. I would list everyone I love at Harmony but I'm horrible with names but there are standouts. Christine, Crystn (sik). Byron,Lisa, Miss Gail ( Amber always pushing DBT therapy 😬) Bobby, the tech who's name escapes me that calls everyone "Big Dog) And Lastly but firstly Miss Peggy who is the sweetest person I've ever met and she saved my life just by getting to know me calling my phone to talk to someone else. She had my back and actually drove to Salvation Army and helped me get insurance, talked me into Salvation Army in first place and bought my broke ass two packs of smokes She is absolutely a gift from God and deserves to be the highest paid at Harmony! But I'm betting she would do it for free No fear y'all this place is absolutely what you make it. Buddy Stovall

Highly recommended. Caring services has been a blessing to me in so many ways. They provide food, counseling. They not only provide shelter and IOP classes, they also get me to medical appointments that I've neglected to go to for years. I truly was saved by this service and am forever thankful for their care. After 2 successful months, I got into a verbal argument with my housemate and we were both discharged so if you go, be careful and follow every rule to the T. Despite the disappointing ending, I still highly recommend caring services!

Ms Drew is my counselor she is wonderful, I really appreciate how when we have our sessions I feel comfortable and I don’t feel like she will judge me or look at me differently based off what I tell her about what going on with my life while on the journey of being sober. Ms Drew gives me feedback and she actually listens to what I speak to her about. Lisa is a great woman too always smiling and saying good morning and you can tell she cares about the people who walk through that door. I really got to meet Ms Lisa during my first induction video call and she made it very comfortable and easy to get through , by being her kind , easy going , and well spoken self. Everything she explained to me was understood and if I had any questions it was no problem. Everyone else at the clinic are awesome!! The people who work there and the clients.

The people That helped me with my recovery while being here Was a great asset. Miss lisa the head coordinator Was always checking in with me everyday To make sure I was doing okay if I didn't show up that Day she was calling me to make sure I was ok. The Doctor's Was fantastic It was always making sure I was at a stable dose. I only went here For about a year While my clinic closest to my house was closed down They always make Me feel Like i mattered. God bless them. And if you're in need of help and direction on your recovery. New season's treatment center in Greensboro, North carolinare. Some amazing people.

Marci and Liz are AWESOME!!!! Being in a house with 13 other females can be a challenge but the program itself is a really good program if you work it. You put effort into it and you will succeed and get what you need but if you halfass it it's not going to help. Staff was very compassionate and helpful. Food was AMAZING

I have been here for a long time and have 27 take homes. If u actually wanna get clean and not just use it bc u can’t find anything else than the place is good plus since getting a new head nurse “that we needed so bad” n when Anna was the director things have gotten much better. even tho Anna is not there anymore she got it together and it seems like the new director is following her lead, the only bad thing I can say about Baart is if someone skips line or being disrespectful and you say something then I would be punished by holding my take homes over my head while the other person who started the mess has no take home’s receive no kinda punishment.

I started going to BAART 5-6 years ago after struggling with opioid addiction for years and I personally feel as if it saved my life. . . But I wanted it to. There are some amazing people who work there and who truly care about the patients recovery and bettering their lives. There are the people who work the program to really get themselves better and then there's the ones who just use the methadone to "not be sick" or in withdrawl but still use/get high. I have recommended BAART to multiple people and have also helped a few people with starting g treatment here.
