Our family has been very grateful for the kindness, compassion, patience, & professionalism shown to our loved one throughout the entire process. The staff has been amazing in answering our questions, addressing concerns, & most importantly helping our family member. They repeatedly go above & beyond to help and really care about the people they are working with. While there are no guarantees, we believe the numerous skills learned during our family member s stay will serve well in the future to help them continue to pursue and stay on a more positive life path. I would highly recommend Next Step to anyone.

I am so glad I picked next step recovery in Asheville. I ve been to many treatment facilities and next step recovery was surely my absolute favorite for many reasons. I have just recently completed the program and found it extremely helpful in many ways. Next step recovery feels warm, welcoming and understood by everyone. I really enjoyed being a part of the group sessions as well because everyone gets a chance to share and nobody is left out. Group leaders, therapists and staff were also extremely informative knowledgeable and had real life experiences. I want to thank next step again, and I will surely stay in touch!

I came to Asheville and Otter House To stop drinking as I had a huge problem. My expectations were far exceeded. Otter House So much more than that. It gave me a strong foundation to go out and not only stop drinking, but to live a much better life through identifying my values, what’s important to me, my perceptions, paradigm everything. The counselors are outstanding, and if you’re willing to put in the mental and emotional and spiritual work, you will come out With a fresh, renewed outlook on life that will guide you through the rest of your journey. Applying for Bethel Colony of Mercy was the first stop in the steps I ve taken to turn my life around from a life style of very many colors and wrong choices. The staff and guidance that are involved with this Christ recovery transformation center are beyond immaculate. Without those individuals one on one advisory, classroom lessons, daily tasks, genuine fellowship, and of course the power of God I wouldn t be making the right choices now to be reunited with my loved ones. Or, have my life together by any means of doing this thing called life all on my own. I am forever grateful for everyone that god placed into my life through making the decision to go to bethel colony of mercy Sending prayers to the women s and men s campus for their strength, unity, protection, faith, and healing. As well as to all of their loved ones who are or have been affected by any of the students, or student alumni's long suffering. May you all be blessed beyond measure with gods abundance. GOD HAS A GOOD PLAN FOR ALL OF HIS CHILDREN! Thank you Lord for all of your great works! May the lord bless you, and keep you; The lord make his face shine on you. And be gracious to you. The LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Praise the Lord for Bethel Colony of Mercy. This was my first step to surrendering to Jesus Christ. Bethel helped me break chain after chain, standing beside me, on the Word of God, delivering me from the sin problem rooted in all addiction. I was given biblical counseling that allowed the Word of God to divide and heal my soul. This ministry is aware that Jesus is the only answer, and miracles are happening in the hearts and minds of those they serve. They have upheld their commitment for decades, without wavering, that the Word of God is all sufficient for applying the truth of Jesus Christ to not only break chains, but to experience real healing.Bethel hosts the Presence of God, and allows men and women who s lives have been devastated by sin and destruction to surrender to the Power and Love of a God who is VERY MUCH ALIVE AND WORKING in the hearts of those Bethel serves. Many of their staff have been risen up from the ashes themselves and have led the way with their own testimony and faith in the only One who is able to free us from our chains. Bethel operates as the Body of Christ is meant to function, in Spirit and in Truth. Bethel is like family. In the Presence of God, EVERYTHING changes, I thank God for Bethel s obedience in not compromising, because it allowed an avenue for me to come face to face with the One my soul loves!

I can't thank Peggy Lombardo (Alumni Coordinator) enough for saving a family member's life. She befriended "Will" long before he was willing to seek help. He was never alone in life because she checked on him regularly and gently coaxed him into getting the help that he desperately needed. Approximately 7 months after reaching out, Will made the decision to better his life by accepting Peggy's offer of help. Once his decision was made, Peggy instantly started moving mountains to get him the help he needed. She was in daily contact with his family offering her advice, supplying helpful contact information, and even talking him through his fears when they became too great and he wanted to run. As a result of Peggy's unrelenting quest to help Will, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Midwood Addiction Program where he received counseling, housing, a sense of community, independence, and gradually took control of his life again. A little over a month after graduating, Will has found employment and is ready to start this new healthy chapter in his life. When asked if he ever talks to Peggy anymore, the answer is "yes! she's full of valuable resources.". How do you thank someone who has saved the life of someone you thought was lost forever? There is no repayment plan that could ever be enough for this angel on earth. Peggy will always be our angel. She truly has an amazing gift and we are forever in her debt. XO

Great place! Coming into this I was a little skeptical about being treated well. The staff and therapist took their time with me, to tend to my needs as a new patient. I had some bumps along the way until I met Evie Dillard. She was so helpful to me by giving me extra resources to get ready to exit treatment. I’m talking about food, shelter and even information about great jobs. I started working, got a place to rest my and made great friend for life. Thank you so much, Evie.

Lemme tell you about the housing situation 1st. I read the good reviews and the horrible and the bad kinda concerned me. I can tell you the bad was not only exaggerated but most just someone salty and spreading total BS. There are no rodents and I've never been to a house that had zero bugs not even a fly before I got here, not even my father's house. Ok so these 2 floor some with a upper smoking/ lounge deck are nice nice! 4 bedroom 3 full double sink bathrooms , two with walk-in shower , I bath / shower and a half bath by living room. It's fully stocked with any pans coffee pot anything you need. The staff are some of the nicest ppl and you absolutely get to know them. You are treated pretty much how you treat them. Just be kind! Midwood center was the one I went to and the staff there are always awesome. If you need something just speak up, I've seen ppl come through and expect everyone to be mind readers. I would list everyone I love at Harmony but I'm horrible with names but there are standouts. Christine, Crystn (sik). Byron,Lisa, Miss Gail ( Amber always pushing DBT therapy 😬) Bobby, the tech who's name escapes me that calls everyone "Big Dog) And Lastly but firstly Miss Peggy who is the sweetest person I've ever met and she saved my life just by getting to know me calling my phone to talk to someone else. She had my back and actually drove to Salvation Army and helped me get insurance, talked me into Salvation Army in first place and bought my broke ass two packs of smokes She is absolutely a gift from God and deserves to be the highest paid at Harmony! But I'm betting she would do it for free No fear y'all this place is absolutely what you make it. Buddy Stovall

There are some amazing people who work there and who truly care about the patients recovery and bettering their lives. There are the people who work the program to really get themselves better and then there's the ones who just use the methadone to "not be sick" or in withdrawl but still use/get high. I have recommended BAART to multiple people and have also helped a few people with starting g treatment here.

Great food, bedrooms and bathrooms were tidy. I have been in treatment before so some of the rules that other clients struggled with were not surprising to me. The office staff could be more organized. Only 4 stars because of not really anyone knowing what the schedule was and the schedule was constantly changing. Equine and art therapy were great. Hikes included packed lunches every week. Had tai chi classes as well were very relaxing. This is a holistic program focusing on mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, there is education about 12 step programs, SMART recovery, and other options as well. Be prepared to ask any questions you may have when calling for intake/admission.

Silver Ridge has its shortcomings. But no program is perfect and I would recommend anyone struggling with addiction to give it a chance! It has changed my life for the better. - K

This is my first time ever in treatment, my first time ever wanting to change things in my life and I can honestly say I really don't think I could do it without the staff at New Season. I have the most amazing councelor (Mrs.Brooks),from the time I walk in to the time I leave I feel so welcome and I am always reminded how far I've came. Miss.Helen at the payment window always has the best attitude and the brightest smile, Miss.Veronica at the dosing window is always checking up on me, not just medically but emotionally as well. Everyone at New Season treats me with the upmost respect. I am never treated like an addict, I am treated as an equal, and I love it. Thank you guys so much for being with me every step of the way.

The Raleigh VA Clinic has exceeded my expectations with every appointment. The receptionist greets you with a smile, which I know is easy only sometimes when interacting with the public.Dr. Sheryl Joyner is the epitome of professionalism, wisdom, and warmth. Equally, those who work with Dr. Joyner are a joy! Usually, I have "white coat" syndrome when I visit the doctor, and the anxiety elevates my blood pressure. However, nurses like Rashida King had me laughing and at ease in the short walk from the reception area to the doctor's office--no high blood pressure!Furthermore, Dr. Joyner and Nurse King were informative, relatable, and authentically caring. Going to the doctor is not at the top of anyone's list of things to do, but the staff at the Raleigh VA clinic are good medicine!

Today was my first visit to any VA clinic as a patient and I must say I was impressed at the overall expereince. I was seen promptly after arrival, the nurse was very friendly and professional as was Dr. Alexander! Both were very thorough and informative. I did not feel rushed at all. All my questions were answered. The young lady in the lab for blood work was very pleasant as well. The facility was organized and well kept. I have no reservation about returning. This is the level of service that should be expected at any healthcare facility, from check in to check out everyone was very welcoming, well done!

"I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with the program. The clinical team was exceptional, and the environment was warm and welcoming. The program's challenging physical and mental aspects were balanced by the opportunity to reset and distract myself throughout the day."I attended during winter, but I highly recommend the program regardless of the season. I appreciated all the staff members, who made a significant impact on my journey."Although I haven't maintained perfect sobriety, I've retained a level of mental clarity that I wouldn't have achieved without this program. I remain grateful for the experience and the tools I gained." They are the most important things I learned there.

Ritual Recovery- Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Asheville, located in Asheville, North Carolina is a private drug rehab center that specializes in the treatment of addiction rehab.
In my current case of needing treatment for a long-term relapse-this was the perfect environment for me. My last treatment in Wilmington was not what I needed for myself. On the surface- being allowed caffeine products, cell phone use, and most of all a caring staff of people from top to bottom helped my 30 days stay go easier. Dr. Meelan was also well versed in addiction, and very responsive to my Rx needs. Treatment at Ritual is what you make it-no one is pushing you too hard, and your able to go at your pace. Your kept busy, and the outings on the weekends help the time pass easier. Quentin and Billy as my House Managers were great too. The whole counseling and support staff also were great. If you need treatment, you should at least inquire and look at the Ritual Recovery before making a final decision.

Where to even begin.... I'll start by saying that I finish my 30 day program with Ritual tomorrow afternoon, whoo hoo! I have never been to rehab before, nor have I ever gone through any kind of treatment prior to my 30 days here. I had heard stories and looked around North Carolina and even Georgia before ending up here at this facility and it was the first of many amazing things to happen to me in my early recovery! This program is filled with top notch therapists and counselors, support staff that genuinely care about you as a person needing help, a doctor that listened to what I wanted and helped guide me in the best course of action for ME and also above and beyond house techs that make sure you feel safe and welcomed. (Billy and Q, I'm talking about you.) Also, they ALL have gone through recovery themselves and know what it's like for you in whatever stage of recovery you're in. The house you stay in (speaking only for the men) is large and on the side of a mountain! It has hiking trails, multiple fire pits, a pool table, a HUGE kitchen full of food, an indoor pickleball court (yes, you read that correctly) and a modest but effective workout area in the garage. And although you have clinical during the week, on the weekends they take you out for activities to help you readjust to doing fun things out in the world without drugs and alcohol in a safe, controlled way... while still having a blast! (Get them to take you to volleyball on Sunday. You won't regret it.) The clinical days begin around 9am and end around 3pm and the therapists are as different as they are wonderful. You get such a mix of personalities and knowledge, you can't not learn something. The groups focus heavily on peer sharing and problem solving with a therapist there to help sort out the unnecessary stuff not serving you and work to refocus each one of us on what works, helping you learn coping mechanisms and techniques to stave off the addiction moving forward. You will be given one on one time with one of the therapists during your stay and meet with them once a week to sort out your own personal needs and individualized ways to handle your addiction. The groups during the day are individually run by all the different therapists and counselors so you get a mix of concepts, ideas and therapy styles all designed to help you in the next stages of your recovery. Just don't vape in group. =P Not only did Ritual work with me financially, but they also helped me navigate through programs I can take advantage of after my stay and helped set me up with AA, NA, even CMA and CA groups I can attend in my area after I leave the program. I also developed a killer support system through the people I met in the program and the group meetings we attended. All in all, Ritual changed my life for the better. They helped me get my life back on track but they will be the first to tell you that YOU have to do the work. They give you the tools, they help keep you clean while you're in their care and they WANT you to succeed, but they can't do it for you. I know that tomorrow when I "graduate" from the program, I feel a thousand percent more confident in handling whatever life throws my way with the new tools courtesy of Ritual. I can only take it one day at a time, but each day is looking a little brighter already thanks to them. 100 out of 10! Thank you to all at Ritual. - Andy

We at Peace and Purpose work closely with and highly recommend Ritual Recovery. They take the time to understand each client's unique needs and provide comprehensive support, including therapy, medical care, and aftercare planning. Their strong clinical team, led by Alison, includes many professionals I've known for many years, JT, Maeghan, and Blake. Amanda and Quinten are 2 people I have also worked very closely with and appreciate their diligence and commitment ! I would definitely send a family member that needed help to Ritual
