Highly recommended.Caring services has been a blessing to me in so many ways. They provide food, counseling. They not only provide shelter and IOP classes, they also get me to medical appointments that I've neglected to go to for years. I truly was saved by this service and am forever thankful for their care.After 2 successful months, I got into a verbal argument with my housemate and we were both discharged so if you go, be careful and follow every rule to the T.Despite the disappointing ending, I still highly recommend caring services!

This place saved my life. From day 1 they held me accountable and pushed me to "dig deeper" to uncover the roots of why I used. When I wanted to give up on myself staff wouldn't let me. Staff were always there for me especially Ms. Brittney, Ms. Queen, and Ms. Raven. Staff taught me that I am worth my recovery. They don't play around so if you to save your life this is the place to go.

This program works if you work it. The staff, from the doctor all the way down to the receptionists, are kind, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. This is the only clinic I've been to that met me where I was at in my recovery and didn't make me feel less than. Then to top it off they used a grant to help me get my car legal, so that I could make my appointments and continue in my recovery. I highly recommend this clinic, no matter how many unsuccessful treatments and clinics you've had in the past. And good luck in your journey to a successful sobriety. God bless

Plenty of parking. Location easy to access. Appointments are needed. Other VA issues can be handled here(similar to Salisbury). If Durham or Salisbury is too much of a drive,then this is the better option.

Mr. Ringer is the man and this entire community is lucky to have him. Not only is he plethora of great information and experiences, even more importantly he genuinely cares from the bottom of his heart about people and their overall success. If you enter with an open mind and heart you will find a place where you will feel at home and have an opportunity to reach your goals. After reading some of the negative reviews, they blow my mind and I feel that those troubled souls had other issues going on that did not allow them to see Dr. Ringer s true intentions and spirit. Keep in mind he is in a very tough business, opening his doors to some very troubled individuals. I m very grateful for having the opportunity to learn from him and have a seat inside his four walls. Until the day you decide to call it quits everyone that walks through your doors will be better off when they walk out. With gratitude and respect I leave this review.

Cone Health BHH is a great hospital. The people there were kind, they had a soda machine, and the food was good. Obviously, it s not ideal to be there, but I would recommend this place for anyone who needs to go to a mental hospital.

Everyone was super nice when I went :) I voluntarily committed myself and was there for 3 days and all of the nurses were super nice to me and told me I had a positive attitude. The bed was comparable to sleeping in my dorm bed so no qualms there. The doctors seemed to really listen to me. I never want to go to a psych ward again, but I am glad that I was at this one.

I was a patient with this facility and what can I say, JOB WELL-DONE EVERYONE!!! I have a gift that I identify to be good. I m bipolar, schizophrenia, and I have a personality Disorder. All of these I have identified are considered good to me. It all depends on how you experience the gift you have. I just left yesterday and my stay has been amazing there!!! The staff is so warm and welcoming. They fill you up with so much love and care. I was on the 500 hall and it was good to be apart of their lives for 11 days. I am going to miss everyone but I know I must attend the world with a new and better me with the gift I have. No disorder or condition, it s a gift. It may sometimes feel like a curse but it s a good one because anything that GOD created is GOOD!!!Also, to Ms. Lisa (The Custodian) I appreciate her so much for making my room so clean and it smelled so good each day she cleaned my room. She has a warm heart and a peaceful mind!!! I didn t have to ask or want for anything. She made sure she checked everything before leaving to go to the next room. I truly enjoyed her as well. She always had a smile on her face and I just loved it!!Thank you again to everyone on the 500 Hall for not judging my experience or gift but making me feel normal and welcomed.To the cafeteria!!! You re the reason I didn t really want to leave!!! The food is very good and tasteful and you can get seconds!!! Lawd, it can t get no better than that!!!

This review was based on my partial experience of ADS. I arrived Thurs (good security). I was screened (great nurse), evaluated by a counselor (Les- amazing), & the doctor would see me the following Mon (bit of a stretch). I didn't make it but they were willing to see me Tues. Otherwise, I'd have to wait another week (another stretch).The facility was clean and inviting. No one other patients there at the time, but I watched them roll through the drive-thru to pick up their meds. Traffic seemed to flow well.I give it four stars, excluding one only because I did not get the full experience. I believe this is a good facility. The staff I meant are truly amazing and I've heard good things. However, I'd plan to go several days before running out. It may take several days to get your first dose. Best wishes on your sobriety.

First I want to say I went up there of my own free will, I had no court dates no probation nothing, and honestly if it wasn t for my counselor Christine I would not have given this review!! She was the only in there that was actually understanding and would do anything to help you stay clean!! The director Les only cared about the rules no matter how out dated or ridiculous they were!! If it wasn t for Christine helping me out and changing her schedule those rules would ve cost me my job which Les seemed to not care about!! The other staff was very nice but you could tell they were tired of those out dated rules as well!!

I love their ENTIRE staff, I was alittle nervous at first because I was not sure if my insurance was going to cover it or if I was going to be able to get state funded. I am a 2018 graduate, on May 18th I will be 2 years sober after being in addiction for 11 years. Before coming to Freedom House my children told my mom that they didn’t want to live with me anymore and so my mom took them firom me (Thank God!!). My life was useless and I was on a quick one way street to death!! My heart was soo heavy and I literally had no hope left - I felt so worthless and carried so much shame!! It makes me cry thinking about it - But Praise GOD!!! I have been redeemed and my life has been completely transformed in a way I cannot describe — Not only is the chain of addiction broken but the chains of shame and worthlessness are gone as well!!! I now have strong, growing relationship with my children and a job that allows me to take care of my kids independently! I can’t fully describe the amount of freedom I have received from Christ through Freedom House!! They were my only hope and boy did they come through!!! <3

The House of prayer is a great place for young men to try to get your life back together with the help of the Lord Jesus Christ. They were work hard and trust in the Lord they can make it. House of Prayer is a truly amazing place. Awesome fellowship, prayer, studies, life long friends, and clean facilities. It s a very humbling experience to meet everyone and the energy is so positive, uplifting you really feel it. Before coming to RFH, I felt worthless and empty. I lost everything and had no one. Being at the Alpha House facilitye gave me a way to cope with my feelings of worthlessness. In the past I would have drowned myself in drugs. I'm only 19 and lost everyone and everything of importance in my life. My son will turn 2 years on March 31st, I haven't seen him since he was 13 weeks. My heart is filled with hate, pain and regret. I lost him due to failed drug tests and he was placed with my grandmother that raised me. I though he would be protected so I continued to use and got myself into a lot of trouble. My son was physically abused by my father’s girlfriend due to my bad choices, my using progressed until it was more painful to use. I'm learning how to stay clean, to do the next right thing for the next right reason. I have a chance at life today. I've learned how to be responsible, dependable and respectful. I'm employed, saving money and I'm considerate to others. I'm grateful today.
