10 out of 10 highly recommend for the busy person that wants to make addiction a priority but restriction is time or Transportation not anymore not with this program everything is done from the comfort of wherever you choose still private can get one-on-one or group feedback the qualifications and steps are easy and if you have insurance it's a walk in the park before I head insurance I would have given it for three stars just because it was very expensive $75 a week plus the cost of prescription otherwise their time out of 10 amazing and they will try and find a way to work with you when it comes to payments if you're in that position I did not ask enough questions when I was in that place so don't let that deter you#wedorecover

This clinic has been amazing and after my recent hospitalization I have even more respect for this clinic. You’re always going to get your complainers but I can’t even begin to explain how this clinic has gone above and beyond for me in every way possible. If there is a clinic someone should go to, it’s definitely CMS. Even the hospital staff was amazed with how fast CMS took care of business. They especially loved Tiffany. Amazing group of women. I'd like to make a special shout out to the ladies Tiffani, Tanya, Lisa, Dominique and Dr Nick for their absolutely outstanding service, bed side manner and overall experience. I came in as a complicated emergency detox patient with severe underlying auto immune disease and AFIB. Am well known among the medical practitioner groups as a unique medical anomaly from the various health conditions i suffer from ontop of a severe chronic opioid dependacy. Safe to say I'm very seasoned with medical lingo, treatment plans/strategies, the struggles of new patients and many other patient woes. So, I, as the patient came overwhelmingly prepared with meticulously documented list of my systems, substances I suffer from and anything else to help the team. Tiffani was my first point of contact. What a total sweetheart and professional. Absolutely love how she gets down to business on your care without time being wasted. Being in the severe medical state I was in, my intake was very quick, smooth and within minutes was on a tele health call with Dr Nick-this is where things really took off for me. First and foremost, Dr Nick might just be one of my all time favorite practitioners out of the 40yrs+ experience with medical staff due to his impeccable listening, understanding, level of care, and the overall efforts to genuinely offer patients relief of their nightmares. Truly owe my life to this God send as he literally saved me while in the middle of a severe reaction shortly after my first ever dose. Mind you, my case is very complicated, aggressive and being unique. I've found that being forthcoming transparency in the purest way is what will save your life. It's the only method I take due to the constant hurdles and obstacles I face during treatment plans. Wholeheartedly believe, can firmly say that had I of been at any other clinic outside of CMS, my life would have been lost. Dr Nick's heroism was among a top highlight in life for me and will be something to remember for as long as I life. My genuine thanks to a fantastic person who really not only loves helping patients but enjoys medicine. This is a rare and epic experience! In closing, the staff, service facilities and overall care here are nothing short of extraordinary. This shop and the angels who show up daily truly have a gift of not only helping people but are miracle workers for those at the end of their rope. Nothing but my sincerest gratitude, appreciation and thanks to CMS for handling my uniquely difficult case. Pro tip: when in doubt, don't assume you'll be OK as it may be your last ever breath you'll take! Please do your due diligence and research wherever you decide to entrust with your life during medical emerginces

Just checking in on you guys. Thank You for all your help and the tools to stay clean. I left about four years ago and was at 120 . After about 45 days of going thru withdrawals I finally gave in to Suboxone. My next step is the shot. Hi Bill and glad to see you're still here. TY for always being cool and I'll never forget you. I think I was 518 and can only imagine what number you're on today!! Addicts do recover when they choose to!!!! Ty QBH for the tools to stay clean by making me go to group and therapy 🙌. Which made me start going to NA meetings. I believe in early recovery you gotta do 90/90. 90 meetings in 90 days to start change 😉😎. Remember to give yourself a break and get into NA to start working the steps of NA. The books how and why were my best tools. You must have a sponsor to work the steps. You can't do the steps alone because how do you know if you're doing them right 👍 and you'll have a friend forever.

The most amazing and caring staff on the planet!!! Big advantages are- you stay in their facility the entire time and always watched by a personal care giver and nurse. Other places make you get a hotel room and they don’t watch you. Advanced Detox also prescribes you all the meds you need to recover as quickly as possible. Some other places don’t do this. I appreciate all the loving staff at Brighton. This is the place you want to be, if you want to recover. It's clean, classes are phenomenal, nurses, doctors, therapists, milieu techs, med techs, environmental services, everyone is great. Aftercare here is also wonderful. Update: they are wonderful until you need them again. I called yesterday, they were suppose to call back. I haven't been there for 3yrs. I needed help. Today no response. Tried calling back, no response. I had been seeing a therapist after she quit there. She only had terrible things to say about the place that they weren't up to updated treatments. I just want to get better and I would hope they could help. I guess I'm wrong.

The Howell U of M pediatrics office is absolutely incredible! While the U of M call center still needs support, once you’re in touch with the actual office it’s a completely different experience. The Howell front desk, nurses, and pediatricians are all so responsive, respectful, and really take the time to work with you to figure out what’s best for your child and your family.

You get out what you put in. I’ve done therapy for many years and this facility is great. I’ve only seen my one provider, but I would believe that every other provider also offers exceptional care. Don’t read into all the bad reviews, if you are on the fence about trying them out I’d give them a chance.

I absolutely love this place and now that I'm gone I even miss them. The majority of the employees there care about the residents. It's clean, they make sure your withdrawals are not too bad. When u 1st arrived you will be in detox 3 days or so then go over to the residents side for 29 days. The rooms have 2 to 3 people in it with its own shower/bath. Breakfast is 7, lunch 11, dinner 4 and a snack at 8. If you're too sick to go to the dining area they will bring it to your room. Mondays and Tuesday are your long days you're in meetings from 9am to 10pm. Group meetings are mandatory every day 9-11. Church is on Sunday and Bible Study on Wednesday. They will help u get on your feet so u can survive when u get out. Oh and the men monitors are cute too, i know one resident who has started messing around with one recently. But the majority of them are not like that. It's a spiritually grounded place where God is first. Oh and you get to keep your phone and smoke whenever you want to. Let's see what else , Oh the food is good now it wasn't when I 1st got there but we complained about it at our weekly meeting and it has improved, a lot! As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best around, but I've only been to one other Christian guidance center, i caught COVID there. I was only there for 2 weeks but they never took my vitals when I was there. And Harbor Light checks them every 4 hours when you're in detox. And once you have completed everything you will get a certificate and a coin. Oh and u have to drop weekly, Oh and they also have a medical mobile unit that comes every Thursday iu need blood work or whatever done. Teally cool joint that I highly recommend

Back in 2011 this place changed my life. Actually learned a lot of important stuff. Detox and stayed there for 3 months. If I'm not mistaken it's a free program. If I'm wrong then it was definitely a low amount. Especially when comparing other places.

I’ve been through 3 therapists at this clinic, they were very nice people. The service is great, the ladies at the desks are always kind and helpful. Only things I would say is that sometimes the therapists go against your opinions and judgement and make you feel out of place or out of control. BUT all of my experiences here have been pleasant. Loved my past two therapists, Mattie DeBoe (no longer a therapist, moved to higher position) and Kelly anthi. Compared to pine rests outpatient/inpatient care facility, this place is paradise. Their inpatient and outpatient facility has many many issues with the inpatient and resident facilities, the outpatient facilities are very helpful and welcoming, quite opposite of the inpatient.

This place is great, getting sober is not easy or fun and the only issue I have personally witnessed is that yes; all of thier staff cannot be in recovery or understand us addicts but they truly have made a huge effort to adapt to this new age in which you can get into a rehab basically for free, get decent if not really good food(DFD) and have the chance to.btreak old bad habits etc. Im 39 and when I first tried to get sober at 18 or so it was incredibly difficult to find a rehab that didn't cost 40K. Jail or the streets were your option so remember that these people are getting paid very little yet choose to work here because most of them do care but there are thinhs called HIPPA laws etc and so that takes a toll on certain aspects of how they have to structure thier program. This place and ann arbor will keep you sober and help you recover for better or worse.

Provided this post on LinkedIn but wanted to also provide it here to those who don’t have social media …. I want to take a moment to recognize the team at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. Over the past year I decided to start using the VA for my healthcare. Like many veterans, I had heard different stories over the years, but my personal experience has been outstanding. From the very first appointment the process was smooth and professional. I was called in at the exact time my appointment was scheduled. A nurse came in within a couple minutes and walked me through how the VA system works and the services available. Shortly after that my doctor came in, reviewed my medical history, and immediately started coordinating follow up care. I have had several knee surgeries over the years, so we scheduled MRIs to take a closer look. What really stood out was how efficient everything was even before the appointment. The VA had already scheduled my blood work and knee X rays. I walked into the Battle Creek facility, signed in for blood work, waited about three minutes, and the nurse took care of everything in less than ten minutes. Then I walked down the hall for my X rays. Again, the entire process took less than ten minutes. Professional, friendly, and very efficient. After my appointment they also scheduled a vision exam. That experience was just as smooth. Any medications I needed were mailed to my house within days, and my glasses arrived within a couple weeks. The entire experience has been excellent, and I truly appreciate the people who make it happen every day. The team at the Battle Creek VA has been fantastic. Veterans deserve great care, and my experience here has shown me that there are people working hard every day to deliver it.
