About Advanced Rapid Detox

Located in Detroit, MI Advanced Rapid Detox is a premier detox center offering a four day detox program. Patients receive 24/7 supervision from medical staff, who provide treatment to alleviate withdrawal symptoms. Aftercare is provided to encourage long term sobriety.

Patients are under 24 hour supervision as they undergo detox treatment. Medical staff uses IV sedation to allow you to sleep through withdrawals while the drugs are eliminated from your system. You recover in a private room and are provided aftercare instructions for ongoing recovery.

Once you complete detox, you receive a Vivitrol injection. This medication eliminates cravings for opioids. You’ll receive instructions on how to continue to get this shot monthly for a year or take Naltrexone tablets daily. An in house social worker will work with you to set post detox goals for continued sobriety.

On day one of the detox program, patients complete paperwork, lab work, a physical exam, and case planning with a social worker and physician. Patients then go to their private room, which is equipped with WIFI, TV, and a private bathroom.

On the second day of the rapid detox program, patients go to the ICU. Here, they undergo the sedation detox procedure. Medical staff use medication to sedate the patient and purge the body of opiates. Patients are returned to their private room to sleep through withdrawals under close supervision. Patients also receive a Vivitrol injection to eliminate cravings after detox.

During day three of the detox program, the patient remains in their private room to rest and recuperate. Staff provide medication to alleviate any withdrawals, if needed.

The final day of the rapid detox program includes meeting with the head physician before discharge. Patients are sent home with instructions for ongoing medication treatment and aftercare.

It’s my second day home after the procedure starting on Monday and leaving Thursday. I haven’t had nausea, sweated or had diarrhea once since the procedure starrted and up until now. I’m moving around perfectly fine. The only problem I have is the restless legs which they give you meds for when you leave. I was coming off 24 mg suboxone I’ve been stuck on. If your want to be clean and actually get that dopamine feeling just listening to music get to this place as fast as possible. Don’t end up dead like the thousands we’ve seen already

Well I’ve been using fetty over 10 years I’ve been on methadone for 2 years I still use fetty once in a while well maybe now about 2 times a week sometimes more I’ve really tried to kick it all I just want off of everything I’m desperate I’d like to no more about how this procedure goes because I see skit of people say it hurts an that it’s rough well isn’t being door sick the same thing so it makes me wonder what would be the point if your still going to feel bad ? Is there any kind of withdrawals that u will feel what about this procedure makes u hurt ? I have so many questions
Response from the owner6 months ago
I can hear how much you want to be done with all of this and that’s exactly why we were created instead of suffering through days of withdrawals. You’re under sedation in a private hospital while the medications work to remove the opiates from your system so you sleep through the hardest part and because the treatment is tailored to your lab work in your history people wake up with little to no symptoms. It’s not like being in sick or in pain. It’s a Safe medical procedure that gets you through and passed the worst part so you can start your life without that wall of suffering in your way.

Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Advanced Rapid Detox works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Financing your treatment can make treatment more accessible. You'll work with your care provider to set up payment plans, including interest rates and repayment timelines. Financing options vary widely and not all programs offer them, so be sure to get the full details before enrolling in treatment. If you have insurance or other benefits, financing may help you cover your remaining out of pocket expenses.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives.

Clients engaged in a rehab aftercare program have already completed high-level treatment and have begun to develop essential recovery skills. Rehab aftercare services are designed to support clients' sustained sobriety as they reintegrate into their home, workplace, and community. Case managers, care teams, and clients design the customized service portfolio that will best support the client's long-term sobriety. Clients may receive peer coaching, 12 step program induction, vocational training, and relapse prevention services.

At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Alcoholism is characterized by the excessive or compulsive use of alcohol, which does not stop despite negative consequences. This compulsive use leads to psychological and physical dependence. To break this dependence, alcohol rehab in Michigan is necessary. Treatment is available from a range of services, including residential programs, outpatient treatment, AA, medical detox, and evidence-based counseling. Support systems are also a crucial part of long-term recovery.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Cognitive behavioral therapy in Michigan helps participants view challenges more clearly so they can respond to them in healthy ways. During a limited number of structured sessions, clients learn about and practice these changes to effectively address substance use and mental health disorders.

Group therapy sessions in Michigan allow you to share responsibility with your peers in a group setting. This fosters a collective commitment to achieve sobriety and learn coping skills that are essential to improving your relationships and reducing your stress levels.

The most amazing and caring staff on the planet!!! Big advantages are- you stay in their facility the entire time and always watched by a personal care giver and nurse. Other places make you get a hotel room and they don’t watch you. Advanced Detox also prescribes you all the meds you need to recover as quickly as possible. Some other places don’t do this. Advanced Detox WANTS YOU TO WIN AND THEY STOP AT NOTHING TO MAKE SURE YOU DO JUST THAT!!! I am eternally grateful for every single person in that beautiful God serving organization. Please, PLEASE call them first!!!! I hope you’ll trust me.

I got so much love for this place. From my initial late night phone call with RN Jeanne who reassured me that I was correct in refusing to get stuck on suboxone for 7oh dependence to meeting with Laura and then all the great nursing/patient care staff (especially Pat, with RT) as well as Dr. Aharonov, this place is the real deal. I don’t think I would have been able to get off 7oh any other way. The morning after the procedure was no walk in the park (fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, insomnia); but not having to suffer thru the intense body aches and pains as well as other opiate withdrawal symptoms for 4-7 days at home was well worth the price of admission. If you can handle a bad hangover for a day plus a couple more days of diarrhea, you can handle this. They also give you meds to help ease whatever symptoms you have after. I can’t tell you how many times I had tried quitting at home unsuccessfully (even with comfort meds like gabapentin and clonidine); I knew I had to go somewhere where I could just “rip off the bandaid” and be done with the nightmare I was stuck in and flying to Michigan was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. I’m going on nearly a month now since I was there and you couldn’t pay me enough to ever touch 7oh again. I’m forever grateful for this place and the amazing staff that works there.

Response from the owner
Thank you so much for this incredibly thoughtful review. Stories like yours are exactly why we do what we do. We know how terrifying it feels to be stuck and to think there’s no way out without weeks of suffering. We’re so proud of you for taking the leap, trusting the process, and fighting for your future.
And thank you for recognizing our staff — RN Jeanne, Pat, RT, Dr. Aharonov, and the entire team truly care about every single patient who walks through our doors.
Nearly a month free from 7OH is a huge accomplishment. Keep going. Your life is worth it, and your story is going to help more people than you probably realize. ❤️ I still can’t believe you have the name of my childhood stuffed animal!

My Son William Alexander did the rapid detox not once but twice, he died on Nov 27th of an OD yes I know all about relapses the odds ect! And I also know there are no quick fixes! I don’t believe this is safe, their messing with the Brain by what Redding the receptors of the Opiates that on them after drug use? I believe this contributed to a much greater relapse after the detox is over and your sent home. The cravings were much worse after the detox , his sleeping was only a few hrs a night, his anxiety was off the charts! The cravings were so much worse. I’m saying this because if you’re gonna play Russian roulette you need to have the facts!

Response from the owner
I am truly sorry for the loss of your son. No parent should ever have to bury a child, and the pain you’re carrying is unimaginable.
Out of respect for patient privacy and HIPAA, we can’t speak to the specifics of his care or circumstances. What we can say without minimizing your experience is that detox is never presented as a cure, a quick fix, or a guarantee against relapse. It is one medical step: removing substances from the body so the brain and body can begin to stabilize.
We understand and openly acknowledge that cravings, anxiety, sleep disruption, and emotional distress can occur after detox. That is why every patient including William are strongly encouraged to engage in ongoing counseling, psychiatric care, and structured aftercare and we give them all of the resources to do that. Long-term recovery depends on continued treatment, support, and most importantly the individual’s ability and willingness to stay engaged in care after detox.
Your grief, your questions, and your warnings come from a place of love and loss, and we respect that. We are deeply sorry for your pain and for the life lost far too soon...
