If it weren't for St. Christopher's we would still be wading through the confusion of what to do about our alcoholic loved one. The pain was close to unbearable. We were all lost and so very tired. St. Chris was recommended to us and the counselors and techs there made the difference. After three months, our loved one graduated and transitioned with the help of staff. The combination of medical supervision, group therapy, and 24/7 supervision was the key to finding the path we are on now. Our alcoholic is over six months sober and proud. It's a day at a time, but we are thankful for this second chance, given to us by the caring folks at St. Christopher's.

Victory is more than a Rehabilitation Center, They re FAMILY!!! Everyone there are Professional, Courteous, And Loving people!They give you the tools to overcome your Addiction, And the knowledge to be a better person in life. There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

NOLA Detox saved my life. Treatment there has given me hope and the tools I need to beat my addiction. Their team of mental and behavioral health professionals helped me every step of the way.Throughout my 28 day stay the clinical team put together a comprehensive care plan. That included medication assisted treatment, group, individual, & family therapy, one on one psychiatrist visits, and recovery groups. Additionally I took part in the professional training group sessions and nutrition & wellness discussions that were offered.I enjoyed the Queen sized bed and the large plasma screen Roku TV in my Patient Suite. My two roommates and I enjoyed binge watching on Netflix.Copeland's provided the many delicious options at mealtimes. My clothes were even sent out to a professional laundry service.A nature trail and lush grounds were well maintained and ideal for jogging, walking, and meditation.My stay wouldn't have been what it was if it wasn't for the kind and empathetic staff that went above and beyond. A team of caring nurses and techs encouraged me on my recovery journey. I would not have been able to do have done this without them.My recovery journey is ongoing. NOLA Detox is still by my side. After my graduation from the program I have entered the Intensive Outpatient Program.With the help of NOLA Detox I'm moving forward and stepping out of the dark shadow of substance abuse.

The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. A person always has to be proactive in their own path in life, and this program shows you how to forgive yourself and move forward in a more meaningful way than previously experienced. I left Narconon in September of 2022.I am enrolled in school now with my own apartment, car, and healthy relationships with all my friends and family.Considering I came from about as rock bottom as it could get (broken hearted, socially despised, and facing felony charges), I have completely altered the outcome of my life with the help of these dedicated and knowledgeable staff members.This is a 10 star place! The immense knowledge I have gained from my student program, as well as nearly a year of staff work, has laid the foundation on which I have been able to start building a life I never thought I could achieve.From being a hair away from a bid in prison, to a high functioning and appreciative member of society, I share the wealth of knowledge I learned here with everyone who is facing conflict in their own lives.The program is not easy, and will force you to take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of your life. The unrivaled support and relationships you acquire here will last you a lifetime, but you have to first be honest with yourself.I don t mean to put down anyone s subjective experience, however, the one star views prove to me presence of an intense bias.Proof? Why are there no 2 or 3 star votes? How is something either 5 stars or 1?Contemplate that for a second like I have and you will come to the reasonable conclusion that those 1 star-raters have a strong emotional bias towards situations that they feel they were victim to.This place only means to help!

Amazing program, great results! The best decision I have ever made was doing this program, it saved my life and I have had 3 other family members and my girlfriend that have all completed this program and are clean to this day. I am happy and sober 8 years later!!

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and the most supportive, caring, and loving staff. From the moment I walked in at Intake I immediately felt welcomed. Was greeted by staff that also had personaly experienced the recovery journey. Having that in common made it easier for me to be able to start forgiving myself and focusing on my sobriety. The techs were able to guide me , answering all my questions and calming my anxiety. There was plenty of other clients to talk to. We enjoyed fishing, volley ball and basketball. Staff even played with us. My counselor was able to listen, be empathetic but also hold me accountable. Which I needed more than I knew at the time. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for my self healing. I can't thank Edgefield Recovery Center enough for giving me the opportunity to get my life back. One I am proud of. I would strongly recommend Edgefield to anyone ready to start their journey. We had nightly AA meetings, small groups, one on one counseling, mediation, yoga, gratitude, family meal's. (BTWThe food is Great!!)Edgefield Recovery Center saved me. The discharge planner was even able and willing to work with me to find me a sober living home in my preferred area to where I was able to get a job, have transportation and begin on a healthy path!! I loved it at Lincoln Nova. You get your own room, your days consist of groups, therapy, yoga, gym etc. and the food is decent also. Definitely recommend. The counselors are great!

I highly recommend this treatment facility for anyone who is really considering sobriety. The staff and the community are wonderful. This experience was better than i could ve of ever imagined and i owe a lot to this place.

Truly a life altering event. My life had become completely unmanageable I could not understand why and how. I have my counselor Ms Kim to thank for guiding me through my treatment. Flexible hours for IOP and really good counselors. They will help you with EVERYTHING. This is more like a family. They offer treatment plans, one on one counseling, transitional living, and more. If you are in recovery this is where you need to be at.

I've been coming to the Bossier city location for almost 5 years now and I've got nothing but good things to say! All around everyone working there are amazing. Dr Isherwood is great and front desk (shout out to ms Amelia) are always willing to work with me when I call and have to reschedule due to life or me forgetting I am glad to have found this clinic and couldn't see going anywhere else!

Applegate makes it really easy every time, love my physician dr Isherwood and the of scheduling and having my prescriptions filled

Beautiful campus and caring staff!

This was the first rehab I had ever went to. This was in 2015 or 16 well they were located I think in Lafayette and when I got signed in to stay they were moving like the 3rd day that I was there to sunset location . It was cool to see . The old one looked like a house it was cool . I had came in and almost passed out and the nurses and staff made sure I was ok and saw a doctor and that mentally I was okay . I may not have been at my best but the staff and everyone here was so beyond kind and cared about everyone's sobriety and it was individualized and personal . It was pricey back then I'm not sure about now . I had ended leaving but I never forgot and alot of people will say it's about how people treat you that people remember. It helped me in the sobriety process . They were still kind and wanted me to stay so much but I needed something else . Well because I had went for the time length I stayed I got an AA book and I kept it all these years and today it still helps and has helped heal me. If it wasn't for that place I wouldn't know the AA way.

I was really nervous going into treatment but the staff was great, there was always someone available if I needed anything from headache medicine, or just someone to talk to. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thats considering getting sober.

Lake Wellness helped me so very much and Bruce Steinberg let us make the group our own. I made friends that will last a lifetime. I would not be sober today if it wasn't for him and the Lake Wellness staff!!

After receiving 30 days of inpatient treatment for alcohol, I continued my care at Lake Wellness. Bruce Steinberg has been an incredible asset in my recovery; I cannot say enough good things about him. He created a safe and non-judgmental space for his clients, and each day of the week had a specific agenda, which kept the meetings fresh and interesting. I thoroughly appreciated the activities and concepts that we explored. His group was open-minded and empathetic and was a place for growth, healing, and connection for me. I made friends I will have for life in this program and will forever be grateful for the care and support I received at Lake Wellness.

Kevin James is great, he truly cares about everyone and is willing to help them if they're willing to help themselves. Great counselors and the property is beautiful!!

This place was a life changer. Kevin James speaks the truth and is straight up with you. He explains things in a way even a toddler can learn. If you can't handle him being blunt with you, then you're probably not ready for sobriety. He makes you look at your own bullshit that you've been hiding behind for so long. The counselors and staff are AMAZING and KIND here and the rules aren't really much to follow if you act like an adult. The food is pretty yuck though so bring snacks and maybe a pillow.

This place taught me how addiction works. As I read the reviews I see a lot of people saying the staff was rude. They told us what we needed to hear and not what we wanted to hear and I appreciated that. If I want to be waited on/ pampered I would go to a resort. I went there after trying to get sober on my own for years and it was the single best decision I ever made. That was 4.75 years ago. If you put in the work it can/will work they teach you and lay out a road map that works. I m living proof. Then the rest is up to you to string together good decisions and use the tolls you learned. If you stop putting in the work nothing will work.

Townsend is a great facility. Their staff is amazing and really cares about each individual clients needs. If you are looking for somewhere to start your recovery journey this is the the place. The alumni program is the best support system even after treatment.
