St Christopher was a wonderful experience for me to get sober, learn about Alcoholics Anonymous, and learn about the disease and about myself. The staff from the front office down were fantastic, before, during, and after treatment. I would recommend this place to anyone

I have been a professional interventionist since 2010. I was introduced to this program in 2012. I have been referring there since then. My clients have always had a positive experience and the clinical and support staff are the most responsive and knowledgeable. They want what’s best for the client and the family and have long term options. They do very well young adult males and most recently I referred a 69 year old man first time treatment. It was a family member and he’s doing very well and committed to 90 days of treatment. I can’t thank the clinical staff and administrators enough for the program they have created. I turned to Victory when I was at the end of the road and felt I had nowhere else to turn. There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

(if you could even call the 1st that) and just by the level of care, commitment, compassion shown, and individual concern shown by each and every one of the members at NOLA DETOX, ALL of whom go above and beyond for every single patient and/or resident that comes into their care. Words alone, just simply cannot describe. If you are just sick of living the way you have been. Or you want to be the person that you know you are capable of being. All of the resident nurses, Yoshi, Jovianna, Stephanie, Ariel, Sam, just to name a few. Then there are the techs Jonathan, Danielle, Derrick, Kevin, Ms. Aqua, Cherry, India, Hunter, Adam, Ms. Kendra, and yes, even Patrick.(😁Lol). Jonathan, my counselor has been a godsend in innumerable ways, and is a wonderful person and someone who I call not just a friend. But a brother. And that is a very beautiful thing, indeed...The entirety of it is a one of a kind experience that you receive there that let's you know NOLA DETOX is NOT JUST ANOTHER treatment facility. They are all a FAMILY, and the environment and atmosphere I recommend and suggest highly to anyone looking for treatment to reach out to admissions without hesitation... Residential treatment and their follow-up IOP services are both first class. And they are what I owe my recovery, my health, and my present-day sobriety to. As well as the wellbeing and sobriety of some people whom I love dearly. Including my fiance. and I do not even want to imagine where my life would be right now if I had not have had the courage to take that initial step and actually held my own self accountable for the way my life had become. It was MY actions and MY choices that had led to the unmanageable state of a mess that my life was in. Having tried it my way so many times and each time falling short, I was so close to giving up. And what a shame and waste of life that would have been. Therefore I'm glad I didn't give up. Instead I gave in, gave it to my lord and savior, and gave the caring professionals at NOLA DETOX a call. Narcanon Louisiana is a safe haven. This is a place that can help you drastically change your life if that’s what you need. The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. A person always has to be proactive in their own path in life, and this program shows you how to forgive yourself and move forward in a more meaningful way than previously experienced. I left Narconon in September of 2022. I am enrolled in school now with my own apartment, car, and healthy relationships with all my friends and family. Considering I came from about as rock bottom as it could get (broken hearted, socially despised, and facing felony charges), I have completely altered the outcome of my life with the help of these dedicated and knowledgeable staff members. This is a 10 star place! The immense knowledge I have gained from my student program, as well as nearly a year of staff work, has laid the foundation on which I have been able to start building a life I never thought I could achieve. From being a hair away from a bid in prison, to a high functioning and appreciative member of society, I share the wealth of knowledge I learned here with everyone who is facing conflict in their own lives. The program is not easy, and will force you to take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of your life. The unrivaled support and relationships you acquire here will last you a lifetime, but you have to first be honest with yourself. I don’t mean to put down anyone’s subjective experience, however, the one star views prove to me presence of an intense bias. Proof? Why are there no 2 or 3 star votes? How is something either 5 stars or 1? Contemplate that for a second like I have and you will come to the reasonable conclusion that those 1 star-raters have a strong emotional bias towards situations that they feel they were victim to. This place only means to help!

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and the most supportive, caring, and loving staff. From the moment I walked in at Intake I immediately felt welcomed. Was greeted by staff that also had personaly experienced the recovery journey. Having that in common made it easier for me to be able to start forgiving myself and focusing on my sobriety. The techs were able to guide me , answering all my questions and calming my anxiety. There was plenty of other clients to talk to. We enjoyed fishing, volley ball and basketball. Staff even played with us. My counselor was able to listen, be empathetic but also hold me accountable. Which I needed more than I knew at the time. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for my self healing. I can't thank Edgefield Recovery Center enough for giving me the opportunity to get my life back. One I am proud of. I would strongly recommend Edgefield to anyone ready to start their journey. We had nightly AA meetings, small groups, one on one counseling, mediation, yoga, gratitude, family meal's. (BTWThe food is Great!!)Edgefield Recovery Center saved me. The discharge planner was even able and willing to work with me to find me a sober living home in my preferred area to where I was able to get a job, have transportation and begin on a healthy path!! To Mr Rick doing your admission even he makes you feel at ease and relaxed and Your treated as a human being without any judgements sometimes you forget what it is to be treated like a person and not be seen as something less. From the Counslers Mr Alfred, Brandon. They really take helping you in your journey really serious. Mrs Ronda and Mario wow do they open your eyes thru certain excersize and experiences That you'll take part in i wont spoil it but if you want to experience life changing moments this is the place to be. The Staff is just so amazing and caring and take their role in helping you very serious and to the heart. From all the Techs that go to the ends of the world to help you and take care of you as best as they can and do as much as they are able to do trust they will do with love and empathy.The detox Techs Rachel ,JT, Mr Henry they make detox very comfortable. In Residential when you come in from detox and the residential techs Felix,Deval, Mr Jefferson,Jada, Carly, Cara,BIG Mike these Techs go all out for you. And they truly love you. As long as your respectful and mindful and respect their time and effort they put in helping you without even knowing you but all these staff members show you love and kindness that you haven't experienced in a long time. and without any judgment and putting you down becasue they been in your shoes and know what you are feeling and going thru casue basically all have been where you are. This is a life changing program trust me when it say that and I garuntee if you really want and take your sobriety serious then this is where you want to go and be. Please if your second guessing if you should go just take the leap of faith and go. you won't regret it and you'll be glad you did. The place is super clean . The food is amazing. Your stay is very comfortable. They try to remove any obstacle that can or will deter you from achieving sobriety so that you can just focus on you and your sobriety. Even the nurses there take really good care of you. SO PLEASE JUST TAKE THE LEAPNOF FAITH AND GO TAKE YOUR SOBRIETY BACK YOU THANK ME THAT I ENCOURGED you TO GO. Just do it ONE DAY AT A TIME! Traveld several hours for the birth of our 7th grandchild, this was an absolute wonderful place to bring in memories, my daughter/granddaughter was taken excellent care of from start to finish!!! First off i would like to thank all of my labor & delivery doctors & nurses at OCHSNER ST ANNE. They gave us the best care ever, the was my first time at this hospital & i definitely would recommend others to go deliver here as well. They listen to you, & everytime you need something their there. They are absolutely the best team ever. They are constantly checking on you to see if you need anything at anytime, & not only you your spouse or visitors well. I love them real bad! 10/10 definitely recommend. They dont do anything to you without letting you know what they are doing first. They made sure we was comfortable as heck. They are great at communicating, they are gentle kind. Both doctors & nurses that i had on both morning & night shift. Big shoutout to Nurse Susan, Nurse Cassie, Nurse Lexie, Nurse Gracie, Nurse Michaela🥹🥹💖💖💖💖💖💖

Woodlake changed my life. The staff there was very good to me and worked with me whenever I needed anything. Kevin James tells you exactly what you need to hear, and the people who can’t handle that sadly are probably just not ready to change their ways. Going to Woodlake was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Woodlake saved my life in 2019 when I went to treatment at the Abbeville location and offered me an opportunity at a career. I am forever grateful.

6 years ago I walked into this place. Didn’t want, need, expect to get sober. I listened, I learned, and followed suggestions. I’m alive today because of what I learned here I have a life and I am father to a 3 yo who to this day has had her father here physically, emotionally, and in good spirit.

I was really nervous going into treatment but the staff was great, there was always someone available if I needed anything from headache medicine, or just someone to talk to. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thats considering getting sober.

Bruce Steinberg has been an incredible asset in my recovery; I cannot say enough good things about him. He created a safe and non-judgmental space for his clients, and each day of the week had a specific agenda, which kept the meetings fresh and interesting. I thoroughly appreciated the activities and concepts that we explored. His group was open-minded and empathetic and was a place for growth, healing, and connection for me. I made friends I will have for life in this program and will forever be grateful for the care and support I received at Lake Wellness.
