I don’t know if I can find the words to show my appreciation and gratitude to Cedric and his team!! They are some of the most caring people I have ever met in my 44years of life! They really care about their patients and or clients and communicate with them on a level that people can relate to… They know exactly what kind of treatment that you need for whatever you may have been battling with! They also find the right case worker and have Drs on deck that are Great at what they do that will work with you directly to take care of your needs! The Nurses wow!! They are all very pretty and just as kind as they are beautiful! If you have something in life that’s holding you back from reaching your goals or just to be that better person you know you can be! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to their intake staff. They will do their absolute best to accommodate your needs and as Quickly as possible! Much 🫶🏼 to Ced, Ms Opal and the rest of the Awesome team at Nola Detox!! 🙌🙌 THANK YOU ❤️

The best treatment facility I've been to. It was one of the best experiences I've had and really made me truly enjoy being sober and showed me how much more I could enjoy life without substances; it was life changing really. The staff there is phenomenal and attentive I couldn't have asked for a better support system while I was there and also up to today. They gave me hope for a better future and helped me get to where I am today.

The 10 effect of the avenues black mamba..... Defense mechanism, beliefs, anxiety, balance, compromising, productive, aggressiveness, issues, problem's,bad or good behaviors every day you wore them up your sleeves, and more and you wore them well but when I learned who you were was hard for me to believe,by any means necessary lord knows no surrender know retreat was your beliefs no games or schemes, now I see why other called you the true Ms.Recovery,I'm no M.L.K.but the day I walked through them doors I had a dream, you get what you put in when you work hard for something you develop a different kinda attachment for it just like your disease, and the gift of recovery is what you wanted all of us to achieve,to join the list of greatness without compromising who we are and what we have build an defense mechanism only we could see,we are who we are until we walk through that front door to leave the bullshit in the streets,to be productive in ur own recovery, all the streets and the anxiety of relationships and all the other behaviors that's bad must be released,on the contrary say an do what you mean, problem solving and everything in-between, excessive conversation on or off the phone makes being there harder at times it may seem, you was always full of data your Internet is always on,just a reminder you came there by yourself try to leave alone, find your own zone,I'm not talking about cox but after awhile it felt good calling home, you gave me this and I can go on an on these 10 effects and a few months later I'm still clean and I wrote this in your honor,to me your avenues black mamba so I will end this with you was my blessing in there and Thank you Ms.Donna So mite not understand this and the wording, that's ok but if you are anything like I was this is the place you need to be, when you go be open minded the staff is the best from the front desk all the way through they are showing you a different perspective of living,I'm a souechef but they have the recipe to recovery...one day you will have to get serious about you....

There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

Odyssey House of New Orleans & Bayou Vista SAVED MY LIFE...MORE THAN ONCE...REHAB is NOT A VACATION..the staff members are NOT our CONNOISSEURS.."like at hotel... Although I would like to add that New Orleans was like being at a 5 star hotel...the building ETC ..but they might be a little understaffed...the TECH's definitely do not have more than 2 hands & 2 feet & should be paid more.Bayou Vista..was like being at a Nice Motel ..but again they really do need more staff members or TECH's ON THE DAY SHIFTS & they should get paid more NO MATTER what their backgrounds are .. especially if they've been there for a while and provide loyalty.... PLEASE let's keep every suffering addict & their families in our PRAYERS & if they don't have a FAMILY..then ODYSSEY HOUSE will treat you like FAMILY... ALSO remember their TECHNOLOGY is IMPECCABLE so always tell the truth.May GOD BLESS you and GOD BLESS AMERICA 🙏

River Oaks Hospital sits on a 14 acre campus in New Orleans, Louisiana. This location provides addiction and dual diagnosis care to adults. There’s plenty to do and see in New Orleans, but if the city isn’t your thing you can take in the sights of the Mississippi River nearby. This treatment center works with many major insurance plans,
I was recently an inpatient in the trauma treatment program at River Oaks Hospital. Unfortunately, the trauma treatment program seems to be somewhat undervalued. Upon admission, one receives a manual with the rules and expectations while inpatient. I would say at least a good 30-45% of those rules are not followed, for example, it is stated in the manual that all groups are mandatory, however, patients pick and choose which groups they want to attend with no repercussions. It can be disruptive for people who would like to do their work. Because there are also military members receiving treatment, those patients have less incentive to complete assignments and so forth because they are automatically approved for a 28 day stay. For those of us who come in on private insurance that gets reviewed weekly, it can be discouraging, especially when paying out-of-pocket co-pays per day. The eating disorder program also seems to be much better regulated and consistent. The lack of consistency for the trauma program is obvious. At the same time, there are many members of the staff that are caring and supportive. I felt I was able to receive competent, helpful care while I was there. If you’re really interested in doing the work, you quickly determine who will be helpful and who is not. If you want to really help yourself, you’ll take advantage of those people, and you will benefit from your time there.

While enduring a brutal chemotherapy and radiation treatment protocol for Stage 4 cancer and with my wife pregnant and the birth of our third son imminent my evil mother in law used this as an opportunity to steal our kids with outrageous lies to DCFS and to get our kids back we both were ordered into IOP for Substance Abuse regardless of what I was found to have was prescribed by my cancer Dr. I wasn't real hopeful for this government funded agency but I couldn't have been more wrong Our counselor, Ms Pearl Watson facilitated a diverse class of court or job ordered clients with a firm hand that demanded accountability but rewarded those in compliance . with compassion, empathy and a deep knowledge of tools to access for sustainable recovery. The Clinical director , I believe named Tianna had designed a treatment plan that was easy to learn, and encouraged us to reveal things about our behavior that didn't seem apparent at the time. These people were a rare mix of empathy and creative genius that make me grateful for the program and i will be eternally grateful for the impact they made in my life and the others I consider family forever.
