I've been a patient at this clinic for around 6 months, and I can say with confidence that Dr. E and his staff are by far and away the best pain management team in the state of Louisiana. I've been to more than my fair share of doctors from many disciplines, and pain management is easily the most difficult one in which to find quality doctors. The staff at Accurate Clinic is beyond reproach. They treat their patients with compassion, and express a true desire to make their patient's lives better. From the receptionists to the support staff, the nurses, the PA, all the way to the doctor, they are the best team around and it's not even close. I can't begin to express the gratitude and respect I have for Dr. E himself. He actually spends time with his patients to ensure they are on the best possible treatment plan possible. He coordinates care with my rather extensive team of doctors. He truly listens to his patients and and isn't dismissive of their thoughts, ideas, questions, etc. He's basically exactly how every doctor should be, but unfortunately very few actually are. There simply aren't enough stars to demonstrate how exemplary this office and it's staff are, and the gratitude I have for their absolute desire to improve the quality of life of their patients.

Kim, Dionne, Monique, Michelle, Yvonne and Yasmin go above and beyond. My elder loved one has had issues with being suicidal and violent. The staff handled it with grace and understanding. When my loved one was threatening staff they used gentle redirection and accountability. Doctors try to manage meds as best as possible but it's so hard on a 14day PEC. Only criticism is that MDs couldn't give her more time for med adjustments and stability of mood. I know a lot of people have elder family members who go through mental health challenges but in this area? Have gone through a few with my loved one. Perimeter is okay too, very caring people but the physicians at Perimeter did not do as much as the physicians at Oceans have done! Out of several hospitals and mental health facilities the physicians at Oceans have been the only ones willing to treat her mental challenges by observing and watching. Making changes through medication management and obverving again. Beacon team in Metarie are amazing (ask for Katherine). But AVOID BEACON IN LACOMBE!!! They will put your loved one in an unsafe discharge situation. Avoid social worker Shaun. Oceans? They would never do that. It's not 5 star, but take it from someone who definitely understands family/ patient challenges-- Have faith in Oceans. They will surprise you.

I have only ever been to one other treatment center. (if you could even call the 1st that) and just by the level of care, commitment, compassion shown, and individual concern shown by each and every one of the members at NOLA DETOX, ALL of whom go above and beyond for every single patient and/or resident that comes into their care. Words alone, just simply cannot describe. If you are just sick of living the way you have been. Or you want to be the person that you know you are capable of being. You owe it to yourself to give yourself the best chance of recovery success you can find and call the people at NOLA DETOX. From the executive director Cedric Royal. The head nurse Ms. Opal. All of the resident nurses, Yoshi, Jovianna, Stephanie, Ariel, Sam, just to name a few. Then there are the techs Jonathan, Danielle, Derrick, Kevin, Ms. Aqua, Cherry, India, Hunter, Adam, Ms. Kendra, and yes, even Patrick.(😁Lol). Jonathan, my counselor has been a godsend in innumerable ways, and is a wonderful person and someone who I call not just a friend. But a brother. And that is a very beautiful thing, indeed...The entirety of it is a one of a kind experience that you receive there that let's you know NOLA DETOX is NOT JUST ANOTHER treatment facility. They are all a FAMILY, and the environment and atmosphere I recommend and suggest highly to anyone looking for treatment to reach out to admissions without hesitation... Residential treatment and their follow-up IOP services are both first class. And they are what I owe my recovery, my health, and my present-day sobriety to. As well as the wellbeing and sobriety of some people whom I love dearly. Including my fiance. and I do not even want to imagine where my life would be right now if I had not have had the courage to take that initial step and actually held my own self accountable for the way my life had become. It was MY actions and MY choices that had led to the unmanageable state of a mess that my life was in. Having tried it my way so many times and each time falling short, I was so close to giving up. And what a shame and waste of life that would have been. Therefore I'm glad I didn't give up. Instead I gave in, gave it to my lord and savior, and gave the caring professionals at NOLA DETOX a call. (Thank you Shelby). Thank the Copelands for this place. And thank God I did it!!! ❤️💯

I was recently an inpatient in the trauma treatment program at River Oaks Hospital. Unfortunately, the trauma treatment program seems to be somewhat undervalued. Upon admission, one receives a manual with the rules and expectations while inpatient. I would say at least a good 30-45% of those rules are not followed, for example, it is stated in the manual that all groups are mandatory, however, patients pick and choose which groups they want to attend with no repercussions. It can be disruptive for people who would like to do their work. Because there are also military members receiving treatment, those patients have less incentive to complete assignments and so forth because they are automatically approved for a 28 day stay. For those of us who come in on private insurance that gets reviewed weekly, it can be discouraging, especially when paying out-of-pocket co-pays per day. The eating disorder program also seems to be much better regulated and consistent. The lack of consistency for the trauma program is obvious. At the same time, there are many members of the staff that are caring and supportive. I felt I was able to receive competent, helpful care while I was there. If you’re really interested in doing the work, you quickly determine who will be helpful and who is not. If you want to really help yourself, you’ll take advantage of those people, and you will benefit from your time there.

This program was very educational and supportive during my personal recovery journey. I met some really wonderful people, staff were friendly and caring. Paul was my counselor and I can’t say enough about his true compassion and gentle yet eye opening approach in both his group classes and our individual sessions. He takes his time and genuinely seems to want to be there, helping his clients. We did 2 family sessions that really helped my husband and I improve our communication. Dr. Caudill is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve ever been treated by- his bedside manner is awesome. I learned a lot about myself in 9 weeks and became much more involved in the AA program thanks to Alchemy offering on site AA meetings weekly. The group sessions allow you to “check in”, learn a topic, and receive support if you’re needing to process something difficult. At the end of treatment you have the opportunity to share your personal story which was a big weight off my shoulders sharing where I’ve been and where I am now. The certificate and chip they give you upon graduation are a really special way to celebrate completing the program. I give this outpatient rehab 5 stars for friendliness, professionalism, effectiveness and even enjoyment. Thank you Alchemy, I’ll never forget this experience and most of all, thank you for helping me seize my life back.

After receiving 30 days of inpatient treatment for alcohol, I continued my care at Lake Wellness. Bruce Steinberg has been an incredible asset in my recovery; I cannot say enough good things about him. He created a safe and non-judgmental space for his clients, and each day of the week had a specific agenda, which kept the meetings fresh and interesting. I had a wonderful, educational experience at Longbranch. It was part my willingness, but the major part was the education in the science of addiction plus the deep dive into the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. I volunteerly sought help with medication. Ì was afraid of what would happen while there. After a couple of days, the other ladies reached out to me and every thing changed for the better. I had lost most of my sight and could only hear very little. The staff was extremely helpful and concerned. I did get my meds adjusted. The support staff were great. I only had a few negative interactions with staff. The worst one was in the day room on Sept 13, 2025 when a female staff member ran across the room and to the TV screaming excessively loud. Most of us had very negative reactions and several went out of the room.

It took a while for me to decide to post a remark, but I felt that I had to say something. I was a patient there last June because of something stupid I did because of the pain I was in because of my back. At first I was very upset and unruly. But after being there for a couple of days I did notice a couple of things that are definitely NOT the faculty's fault. The doctors, nurses & medtechs did the best they could with what they had. These people come in to help, because they care. But the one thing I did notice was that the staff was over-worked, under-staffed, under-appreciated & I don't know, but probably underpaid. They relied on donations, when it came down to certain clothes, shoes & I remember how short they were on pillows. After being discharged, my husband & I donated some items for them to use. The thing that gets me angry is after reading some of these reviews, it has become apparent to me how important that the Gov. steps in and do something about the lack of care there is for mental health. I read in a comment that their loved one was dumped like trash and she had dementia. While there myself and one other person tried to help the medtechs, when they needed some. These people are human beings, NOT TRASH and shouldn't be treated like it, due to the facility being so short staffed. You know, it's a shame we don't learn from the Asians on how they care for their loved ones. But like I said my personal experience taught me a lot about facing my inner demons, while trying to help the medtechs. Here's a thought!!! Maybe if you treated your staff the way that they should be treated, then you would not have so many unhappy family members of the patients.

Our developmentally disabled client was admitted last week. I can’t say enough about how awesome this facility has been. At most past facilities our other clients were in we had such a hard time advocating for them. Beacon has been easy to communicate w all the treatment team. We were included and informed regarding his care plan. They were able to make him feel safe. I’ll be requesting this facility if we ever need an admit for our DD consumers. Thank you Beacon!

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. I have been a patient since before Katrina. I get reminders about appointments, calls from the pharmacy to check each month how I am doing with medications before they send them to me. My counselor is a very nice person that goes out of there way to make me comfortable and happy. My doctors a little rough around the edges, but the job gets done and done right. Update 7/23 New doctor and very nice

I was thinking about this place today for some reason. I spent 29 days here in 2015 or late 2014. Anyway I remember it was a very good program. The scenery is beautiful and many long walks around the facility. I was glad we could smoke as well. I remember going to the local Catholic Church nearby. Oh yes and the food was delicious. Females were there as well, but no peeking lol. Overall a good place if you wanna sober up and stay off the destructive path.

This place changed my life. It saved my life! If you or a loved one needs help, this is the place to go. The physical structure needs help but the mental health care is wonderful. As I said, it saved my life.
