Their levels of care include detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and aftercare. Holisti | Treatments Programs Payment Options | If you or someone you know are thinking about going to a treatment center I’m happy to say the staff here have created something special. From the second I called I’ve been treated with love care and empathy by everyone at the facility. Even after completing the 28 program staff members like Joshua Haskiell reach out to check in on me regularly. They don’t make anymore money to do those things they are just genuinely good people with big hearts who have earned my trust. The main guy the director of operations Jacob May was there in the flesh 6 days a week with his door literally open all day. A man in his position doesn’t have to make your problems his problems but that’s exactly what he does for anyone needing help. He personally helped me with seemingly little things but important to me and he didn’t act like they were little he acted like they were important to him. That’s the kind of care you can expect to get at this facility top notch.

Compiling the amount of gratitude I have for this facility into a couple sentences is near impossible.
Being surrounded by nursing and clinical staff that did everything within their power to create a safe and peaceful environment was crucial for my first month in sobriety, and Harmony's Walker location made that a reality. Most facilities do not have the staff or patience to go the extra mile and accommodate the spiritual needs that some individuals have, but Harmony did that and some for me. I didn't interact with a single member of their team that didn't genuinely care and show that they had the experience to get me through what I was facing, and when I hit a point that I needed more than mandated groups Josh H.'s kayaking trips and hikes got me through.
Feling alone and scared is natural during early sobriety, but being alone doesn't have to be. 💜🐇🐿️

These people saved me! From the doctors, nurses, and counselors. To even the office manager and receptionist. These people really care! They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself!
I read through the reviews, and I can assure you. Do not base your opinion of this place by the bad ones. If you are truly ready to make a change in your life. I promise, these folks will help you with being successful!

Aug 13, 2026 makes 1 year that I have been a patient of this clinic; before I made the decision to start treatment I was lost, stuck and had no idea where to start; I was fearful of withdrawal and of the shame that follows addiction but from day one of treatment this clinic with is counselors and staff helped me navigate through every obstacle I faced! My counselor Kali has been such an instrumental part of my journey and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her help as well as the nurse Mandi has made it a point to champion our milestones and congratulate us on our progress! Lastly, the director Rebecca does so much for us patients to make us feel welcomed and valued during our treatment, from pancakes in the winter, recovery day, and always being available to help with anything! This center and the workers here, Dr. Brown, have been a resource, a light in the dark, a savior when I could not save myself. The nurses, counselors and secretaries are absolutely wonderful and caring human beings who do not judge but have true servant's hearts. Words can not express how grateful I am for the treatment center and those within it. For those saying that this place is a joke - they've either failed drug screens, broken the rules or not made their intentions clear. I am one among hundreds who have been saved through this center. There will always be people mad that they can't take advantage of workers or use the place for wrong reasons. No one forces you to stay if you don't want to be here. Charleston, WV | Prestera Center - Charleston is a dual diagnosis mental health and substance use disorder treatment center for adults, located in Charleston, West Virginia. Addiction services at Prestera Center include mental health assessments and counseling, detox, outpatient addiction | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’ve been coming to Prestera since it was Shawnee Hills back in the 90’s. It’s changed a lot over the years, but now in 2026 I come to Prestera Health Services for therapy and now they’re like, “hey, want a primary care provider too?”
At this point I’m convinced they’re trying to fix all of me and honestly… I respect the ambition 😂
The therapists are amazing though. They’ll sit there all calm while I’m explaining my life like it’s a dramatic series, and then hit me with one question that has me rethinking everything on the drive home like, “well… that was personal.”
And now with PCP services?? So I can talk about my feelings and get my blood pressure checked in the same place? Efficient. Convenient. Slightly suspicious how well they understand my needs.
Staff is super kind, super patient, and somehow still nice even when I say things like “I think I’m fine now” after one good day.
10/10 would recommend. Came for therapy, stayed because they’re low-key helping me get my life together in every category.

West Virginia is ranked 38th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $57,881.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in West Virginia vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in West Virginia. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in West Virginia that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in West Virginia.
