WOW! There are literally no words to express the amount of love and gratitude I have for this place. Starting from the first phone call to ask for help was patient and caring. Every single staff member no matter what position, Nurse, TA, therapist, cleaning staff , case manager,kitchen , nurse practitioner, counselors. Was the most kind, caring, loving experience I've ever had. I'm truly grateful for this place saving my life as well as my husband. This place will always hold a special place in my heart! The Best place to go if you are truly ready to be where your purpose is in life and being that way without drugs in your life or whatever you may need help with that is preventing you to be who you are suppose to be . DW helped transformed me into where I am today..I personally had a spiritual awakening on Dec 17th , 2025. I on my own free will admitted myself with the help of my support team to DW on Jan. 10th, 2026. Long story short after reading reviews on several other places to go for help DW is the one I always came back to. The staff ,the counselors, the nursers, and the cooks are truly blessings too,! I have been clean since Jan 10th. 2026 .. and plan to stay this way

Many things have changed since 4 years ago. But I will say that Shelley, the RN finally got my meds at 5 days and my suboxone got lost somehow, and I was definitely taken back at how operations have changed, but the texts were pretty good. I can't share enough praise about Stonewater. It was truly a life changing experience for our whole family. What Stonewater does is incredible and more programs like this should be funded. The team not only addresses the child's addiction, but in tandem addresses their mental health. They do their best to understand the child as a whole person that may have experienced trauma or if the child is dealing with neurodivergence or possibly a mental health issue that has not been addressed. The Stonewater program heavily incorporates the family into the healing process in order to teach the family as well as the child new ways of responding and interacting with the child's addiction. The team is very communicative, transparent and kind. Once you get settled in you never feel alone and lost. And if you do, all you have to do is let them know and they will help you as a parent feel less that way. One of the greatest components of the team is the nursing staff. Some inpatient recovery centers do not have a full time nurse on staff, but Stonewater does and she truly cares for the kids. My child has an autoimmune issue and was turned away from a different recovery center, but Stonewater was able to take him because of their full time nurse. Another wonderful part is the bi-monthly zoom calls with other parents from the program that is led by two wonderful people. Also, the property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. My child benefitted greatly from Stonewater and has been sober almost 6 months. He graduated from the Stonewater program and has stayed connected through alumni calls and reconnected with friends from the program. We as a family have a solid foundation with which to stand now and know that we can always reach back out if we need to.

Sending my son to Stonewater was the hardest decision I had ever had to make. He has now graduated, and I can say it was absolutely the right decision. I received frequent communication from his caregivers. I was able to talk to him & see him on family days. It was a tough 90 days but knowing how he was doing and seeing his progress brought me peace. He left Stonewater committed to staying clean. I have felt supported by them in his transition to aftercare. No part of this is easy, but Stonewater has made every effort to support my son & our family. I am grateful to all the staff at Stonewater that changed my son’s life.

In the midst of the hardest decision we ever made, Stonewater’s team brought us comfort and relief. Our son is now 4 months sober and the amount of therapy and individual support he received saved his life. They really care about them as individuals but also have a great program for the parents as well. And, now he can still stay connected as an Alumni! His therapist called us the day after he was at his new sober living place out of genuine care and that meant a lot to us. It’s the perfect balance of hard boundaries and high expectations but also love and encouragement for what these teens need as they come from addiction to living life again!

The therapist at BTR are very professional and personal. They are helping me to understand and further develop the skills I need in my recovery. My stay at Pine Grove was as close to perfect as a facility can get. My nurses were all very caring, attentive, and helpful. It is because of my night nurse that I made it through my first night and continued with the program. I arrived in a state of panic that I’ve lived with for the last 5-6 years, and by day three I was feeling like a normal human again. My psychiatrist, Dr. Bossi, is absolutely wonderful. I was recently in the Gratitude program and can confidently say that it saved my life. I came in hopeless and discouraged with recovery and left with more hope for the future than I thought was possible. I was impressed from the beginning when they gave me a set of workbooks on sex addiction upon arrival. The nature of the program being tailored to sex addiction made it a million times more powerful and effective than either of the dual diagnosis or general addiction treatment programs I'd gone to before. I really appreciated how structured and rigorous it was as the weekly projects and assignments allowed me to go much deeper than I would have been able to without them. The therapists are all phenomenal and are true professionals at what they're doing. Even the interns/externs I worked with were amazing. On top of everything, insurance covered all 75 days I was there. I will be forever grateful for my time at Pine Grove.

These folks helped me get back on my feet and returned to productive work when I was 45 with months of therapy for a low back injury. Helped again with therapy on old burn scars [covering 1/3 of my thigh and bellybutton to spine on same side] escaping repeated multiple scar revision surgeries. I’m sure I’m not the first person to retire and end up in rehab. The Estate saved my life. I finally came to terms with my drinking and my dependency on alcohol through addressing health issues the staff at the Estate were instrumental with helping me sort out and plot my way forward. I continue to have contact with Amy and some of my fellows and have returned several times and it’s a good thing to be 30 months sober and I attribute in part to the experience of the estate. I’m an open book…I have embraced AA as part of my sobriety program…in terms of working the steps and getting sponsor and continuing to work work work… if you’re considering the Estate …I recommend opening yourself up to change…because if nothing changes, nothing‘s gonna change.

The Estate took me at my lowest and brought me back to life. The staff there are amazing!’ They really show you they care about you. You can tell that they’re doing what they love. It’s beautiful there. I was a little scared being in the woods like that at first but it turned out to be amazing. It’s so peaceful . It’s gorgeous! The cottages are really nice and spacious. They helped me with my mental health as well as my addiction. Because of the Estate I feel like me again!! I’ve got my life back and that feels so good!

I called 4 help with alcohol and I got a wonderful lady name Lana in support center. She gave some number, to try to help, but 2 of the. Numbers where not working. The last number I tried was working. But the person on other end was rude. But anyways, the support center is a great place to get advice. Thank ms. Lana in support center.

I know medical centers—especially VA facilities—can receive mixed reviews, but I want to take a moment to highlight the amazing work and dedication of the staff at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. I have friends who work here, and I’ve seen firsthand how much they genuinely care about the veterans they serve. Many of the doctors, nurses, and support staff go above and beyond every day, often under challenging circumstances, to make sure veterans are treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. The staff works hard to listen, advocate, and provide the best care possible, and that commitment does not go unnoticed. Our veterans deserve kindness and dedication, and there are many people at this facility who truly deliver that. I've been to numerous rehabs over the years, and by far, the love, understanding, and genuine care that the therapists and techs show their patients here is exactly what an addict like myself needs. My time at MSDATC was exceptional. The absolute best for someone in need of a life changing experience through recovery. All the way from the staff, therapist, techs, peer support, nurses, group facilitators, the Community, and of course the wonderful cooks!😉 I can't say enough wonderful things about these people, the facility itself, and their intended plan of action for the individual. Im astounded by my growth. I went from homeless to happy. I highly recommend this facility if you want change. This team changed my life. Stina was one of the most phenomenal therapiat and human beings I've ever met. She created safety for me to do the work. Brooke is an astounding cook and gets the job done. Allysa the case manager took me where I needed to go. Tray and Blake got me to my outside meetings. Nurse Faith and Megan made me feel welcomed and loved. Damn this place is good. It do what it do.

I couldn't have asked for a better Sober Living experience. The sober living homes are beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. I am appreciative of the loads of groceries provided for the house, as well as, the freedom given to work a job while there. A house with other women on the path of recovery gave me a sense of community and safety. We were provided transportation to meetings, jobs and Walmart which gave us time to meet others and go shopping. The classes are on the same campus as housing so it was very convenient. We came together as a community and had cookouts, played games and even went bowling. The director, therapist, coordinators and nurses are very understanding and more than willing and committed to helping and guiding us through our recovery progress. This is one of the best Sober Livings around and I would recommend it to anyone interested in changing their lives for the better. Thank you OTC.

I attended Harbor House in Jackson in 2014. Pam Moore was my counselor. I am still clean today. It took me 5 rehabs until I was ready. I came to the area and spent the whole summer. I had to make a special call to give a personal "Thank You" to Executive Director, Dedria D. Black for her wonderful staff at the Harbor House Chemical Dependency Center in Jackson Mississippi. The staff there are Professionals, Supportive, Compassionate, Caring etc. Their treatment philosophy goes above and beyond to make sure that their clients get the very best care for their recovery. Whenever I would call they gave me updates on my family member and their recovery. I've had over 40 years experience managing and working hands on in customer service. Finding the perfect team isn't easy but they've managed to do just that at the Harbor House. I would also like to send a special "Thank You" to Mission Specialist, Mrs. Shirley, Intake Coordinator, Mrs. Kayla, Nurse Manager, Mrs. Morenik and Counselor, Mrs. Kim Curtis for going above and beyond.
