The houses are super comfortable and are a recovering addicts dream. This place most definitely helps recovering addicts and alcoholics get the level of care, support, and supervision that they need. I love group therapy and getting to talk about my addiction and how far I've come. Don't get me wrong I still struggle. But I still have a long way to go. I've been going to spero health since the end of March and early April. And this now May. I never got any answers to this from anyone, not the receptionist or the lady to took me into triage. I waited, I slept and waited for 3 hours to hear my name, i didnt and I just gave up and went home. they dont work fast on Sundays or holidays at a hospital Nick B 3 months ago I’ll start with the positives: The surgeon who worked with my dad was amazing and thorough. She informed us about what he was going through and made sure he was as taken care of. Some of the staff were very nice as well and very prompt when we called. I appreciate those who were actually willing to do their jobs. The negatives: There is a lack of communication between staff. We were constantly given inconsistent information about my dad’s condition which lead to him having to stay longer than necessary. Also, some of the nurses are not fully trained on how to put in an IV, which was frustrating because it seemed as though they were using my father for practice and constantly missing veins. They take the entire family under their wing and truly collaborate with all involved during the child's time there. We never felt confused, uncertain, or "in the dark" with our child's progression through the program. After a particularly traumatizing inpatient experience, we immediately felt at ease with Ms. Susie during our very detailed intake assessment. This feeling of ease continued with any staff we came in contact with throughout our child's time there, as we met regularly (weekly) with our child's therapist and psychiatrist. The option for patients to continue with regular outpatient group therapy once they've completed the partial hospitalization program (as they return to the "real world") provides extra support during that transition and helped us feel more comfortable with that transition as well. I am especially grateful for the gentle and caring way they held our child accountable and encouraged our child to take an active role in their mental health, treatment, and therapy. Our time at Daybreak improved the way we communicate and care for each other as a family, and I will be forever grateful for everything the people here did for us.
