This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I'm very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it's hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don't give up . I would be lieing if I said recovery is easy but one day u will wake up and realize it gets easier u just got to.want it and put 100% in to get it

I came all the way to Synergy from Los Angeles, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I can honestly say that I left a different person than the one who arrived. The program helped me understand myself on a much deeper level, recognize the patterns that had been keeping me stuck, and develop tools that I know I will continue using long after treatment. I left feeling more grounded, hopeful, and connected to who I truly am. The counselors and RAs are all incredible. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in every woman who comes through the program. I always felt supported and cared for, without ever feeling judged. The program itself is truly amazing and creates space for real healing. Not only from addiction, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as well. The setting is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and extremely comfortable. It feels warm and home-like, which made such a difference during such a vulnerable time. The food is also delicious, and you can tell how much care goes into it. Synergy gave me so much more than I expected. I learned an incredible amount about myself, built meaningful relationships, and began creating a life that I genuinely want to protect. I will always be grateful to the entire Synergy team for the role they played in changing my life and I would recommend this program to anyone who is struggling. <3

I am writing to share my experience at Synergy, which has far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped onto the property, it felt like home. The staff is nurturing, loving, and supportive, offering a holistic approach to recovery that equips clients with unique skills and tools. The opportunity to experience new things in a safe, well-balanced environment helps the brain establish new pathways, supporting the skills taught during the stay. Furthermore, the clients you go through recovery with become your biggest fans and closest friends. Synergy also provides informative resources to continue introspection, healing, and growth after departure. My stay focused on Complex PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression. Although I was initially nervous about taking this step for myself in an environment with mixed treatment needs, I quickly realized I made the right decision. I cannot recommend Synergy enough. The skills I learned and the self-love I gained will journey forward with me for a lifetime.

Dr. Thirtala was amazing! She took her time, asked me questions to make sure she fully understood my concerns, then repeated the information I had shared with her back to me, all put together medically. She then laid out an easy to follow plan on how we are going to work to resolve our issues. I have had several bad experiences with doctors, and I believe Dr. Thirtala deserves public recognition so she can help others!

I checked myself into the Cox North treatment center about 2010. Got set up on Suboxone. Unfortunately I ended up getting fired before I could finish the treatment and had to get off it all by myself. And I was on 24 mg a day three pills. I wish I'd have been on 2 mg a day. When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop's going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don't give up people! Rick Byrd

Call this guy now!" So I call this guy, yes I have houses for you....so im thinking okay perfect right? I send the deposit to the guy and he says perfect I'll bring your keys and paperwork tomorrow morning. Well maybe you can all see where this is going....no call...blocked...reach out to concordance for help...."oh so sorry that happened...good luck...that guy has nothing to do with our program. " really, well why hand out his flyer like candy? Are they receiving kick backs? Reports made EVERYWHERE!!!!! GOOD LUCK! IF YOU GO HERE BEWARE OF SCAMS!!!!!!

This place has truly changed my life, and it just dawned on me 5 months after completing the program. Sorry in advance for the long post. I started the MRC program around February 2026 for severe anxiety and depression. I was in a dark place, with no support from family or friends, and honestly I didn't think anything was going to help me at that point. The first day I arrived the staff were very welcoming but my anxiety was through the roof. I pretty much stayed in my room and only came out for meds and food too scared to really talk to anyone. As the weeks went by, I started getting comfortable then realized my peers were literally going through the same thing I was same with the staff, some of whom had gone through the same program themselves It gave me motivation if they could do it I could do it too. One of the things I struggled with was my schedule. It got so bad it started bleeding into everything like one day I'd sleep at 9pm, the next at 1pm, then I wouldn't sleep at all for three days straight. When I got there I kept missing classes because I was oversleeping or straight up refusing to wake up, so I got a warning that my phone would be taken away. That scared me straight that's when I finally got my shit together lol. Now 5 months later I had lost my job, totaled my car and pretty much everything I owned. A year ago that would've completely broken me. But I was okay. And that was the part that surprised me the most all this time I'd been chasing something that never had any real value to me in the first place. The job was good money sure but it brought me zero happiness. Working 90 hours a week was actively making my depression worse and I didn't even see it happening until I was already in here fighting to get my mind back. So when the termination letter came yesterday there was sadness but there was relief too. That job had become my whole identity a false one built on something that was quietly destroying me. Now today at 8am instead of frantically getting ready for a job that only made me miserable I'm sitting outside bird watching and reading a magazine like I'm 70 years old lol. And that's the lesson that took me almost losing everything to learn chasing something that has no real value to you personally will wear you down piece by piece until there's nothing left. I'm just grateful I got to learn that here instead of losing myself completely over it. Thank you MRC ❤️

I have done the program twice at mrc. The aftercare they have is one of a kind. The staff is amazing. There are far too many to list individually. It is truly the staff in the facilities that have kept me sober. The one huge thing I disagree with though is upper management. They have definitely become more about money than the patients. They only accept bcbs for insurance, so unless you have a lot of money, don't bother coming here. There is no breakfast to speak of. It is not about comfort I guess

Well, I’ve been with BHG in Joplin for 10 years now, and I really couldn’t ask for a better place to get real treatment. I’m from California, been on methadone on and off for 30 years. This time I’ve been on it straight since 2008. I moved to Arkansas in 2017 and chose BHG to do my treatment. I’m so happy I chose BHG, it’s honestly the best clinic I’ve ever been to. Ever. My counselor Nancy is the most amazing beautiful soul I’ve met in my life. She is a blessing to me and to the clinic. Every one of her patients love her. The nurses are so sweet and respectful. I have been to so many clinics where the nurses are rude, disrespectful and right down mean. That’s not the case at BHG. I love these nurses. It’s literally a joy to go pick up my medication, I always look forward to seeing the nurses and getting my 5 minutes of chat time with them. These ladies are never rude, even when having a bad day, they all keep their smile and always are respectful. Lisa is an amazing director, (I think that’s what her title is, lol. I’m an old lady so please forgive me if I’m wrong) Lisa is a wonderful young lady, I just adore her. The doctor is one of my favorite people on earth. Every year at my physical, she makes me laugh so much. She is a compassionate and funny soul, and genuinely cares about her patients. BHG truly is the best clinic to go to for real treatment. Every one who works there is so kind and supportive. They really care how you’re doing. And they are there for you when you’re not doing so well. You can’t get better treatment anywhere else.

The place is great, but a few of the check in clerks could use a different position that doesn't deal directly with the patients. Rudeness and a cold attitude is not warranted towards any veteran. Absolutely life saving . This is an amazing program ,with amazing people helping rebuild lives from the ground up . I was homeless while pregnant and addicted to shooting drugs . At 5 months pregnant my heart failed and I was rushed to st. Louis, Missouri, all alone ,pregnant and about to die. Due to my condition that I had created via my addiction . I underwent Open heart surgery .I survived 2 months later in the hospital, no one was waiting for me after my discharge from hospital. I was homeless in a city unknown to me and due to have a baby in a few months .Queen of Peace took me in, and was waiting for me when I got there even paid for me an Uber from hospital to cathedral towers. I have God to thank for giving me Queen of Peace . Thank you .

I want to point out Shayna care coordinator, she goes above and beyond to help someone ! My son was a patient here for a month and a half. I think treatment team did a lot to help him ! Unfortunately he made some choices good and bad really ! He did try but probably needed more attention with his medications for his mental health issues. They all did a lot to help him. I would recommend them if you want to stay clean and learn more skills to cope !! đź’Ż %.

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It's about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.

Synergy definitely has been a lifesaver for me. I have been in recovery for 3 years and all the kind people havw been so helpful I dont know where I'd be without them. So glad this clinic moved here last year. It is less than a mile from my apartment. Steen group of employees, but efficient in their duties. If you make them laugh, they really loosen up. Just don’t grab at any candy on the counter within reach. They laugh, but it is an evil laugh, like your hand was theirs for desert. Like them all.

She took the time to be compassionate and understanding, even though her office just happened to be the first one that I knocked on. In a time of need this place from the first phone call to the last goodbye not even goodbye but see you later at future events Was so helpful so welcoming this please help me see things that I was buried and helped me find the root of my problems not just telling me I had a problem to fix it. That’s just a Recovery part this place was like a vacation resort for me it’s comfortable. I met great people. The staff was amazing not just one or two of them but everybody the animals, the horses, the dogs, the maintenance man I felt nothing but love here if you are I loved 1 is thinking about getting help or getting help for someone. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. what is the worst thing that could happen you end up liking it and changing your life for the better? This place was the blessing of a lifetime for me. Every single person in this facility truly cares about the people who come there for any of their services , I would give a shout out to one but I can’t they are all so kind and compassionate! I truly have a new outlook on life and haven’t been this happy since I can remember, I almost hated to leave lol, if your searching for a place to work on yourself and your struggles look no further , this place is top notch! The Aviary RC has helped me a lot. They gave me a good source of fellowship and a different way of thinking about things. The Equine therapy is absolutely Awesome. I learned tons from that staff as well. The house dogs Bear and Moose are Amazing and so sweet. I really can't say anything negative about the staff. There are many Rockstar on staff there. On the Alumni side of the Aviary, those people are hands down Awesome. The nursing staff and support staff are extremely nice and helpful Alumni Coordinator Kassie is a Superstar. I highly recommend The Aviary
