Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn’t ready then . Now I’m thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that’s why I’m writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I’m very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it’s hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don’t give up . Got set up on Suboxone. Unfortunately I ended up getting fired before I could finish the treatment and had to get off it all by myself. And I was on 24 mg a day three pills. I wish I’d have been on 2 mg a day. When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop’s going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don’t give up people! They were short-staffed when I came, but they were still able to pull it off and gave me a great experience. Great food, too! The owner even comes in multiple times a week and runs a group on Thursdays. He shares his personal life story. You do not get that very often. The nursing staff is very caring as well. I could not sleep for several nights, so the nurse practitioner tweaked my medication several times until we found the right combination. If you’re contemplating going or returning to treatment, you are going to find a better place, in my opinion. I feel that I am ready and finally capable of staying sober long term. I’m from California, been on methadone on and off for 30 years. This time I’ve been on it straight since 2008. I moved to Arkansas in 2017 and chose BHG to do my treatment. I’m so happy I chose BHG, it’s honestly the best clinic I’ve ever been to. Ever. My counselor Nancy is the most amazing beautiful soul I’ve met in my life. She is a blessing to me and to the clinic. Every one of her patients love her. The nurses are so sweet and respectful. I have been to so many clinics where the nurses are rude, disrespectful and right down mean. That’s not the case at BHG. I love these nurses. It’s literally a joy to go pick up my medication, I always look forward to seeing the nurses and getting my 5 minutes of chat time with them. These ladies are never rude, even when having a bad day, they all keep their smile and always are respectful. Lisa is an amazing director, (I think that’s what her title is, lol. I’m an old lady so please forgive me if I’m wrong) Lisa is a wonderful young lady, I just adore her. The doctor is one of my favorite people on earth. Every year at my physical, she makes me laugh so much. She is a compassionate and funny soul, and genuinely cares about her patients. BHG truly is the best clinic to go to for real treatment.
