Amazing place! Wish I could’ve stayed longer. I met some awesome people there! The cabins are clean and cozy. They’re like hotel rooms without a TV. Special shout out to Kelly, Arielle, Jordan, Star, Johnny, Scott, and all the other desk staff, nurses, kitchen staff, ( I gained 10 lbs while I was there from all the good stuff) 🤣 and housekeeping staff. I was at Valley Hope for 30 days in January 2023. I desperately needed rehab and because I wasn’t covered by insurance had to pay for my treatment. We enjoyed our stay! We had caring helpful staff! The privacy for each patient is takin seriously. I would highly recommend coming here because they allow husband and wife, your phone, and they provide the successful lectures to help u make it out in the real world. Their food is relatively good quality, and the portions are more than u may need. They provide medicated assistance to help you with the withdrawals. The staff are very friendly and truly put your total care at heart. Every patient is accommodating, and welcoming. This does help everyone coming in a lot! Mama cleans her butt off and leaves you feeling cared for and like your her own kid! She puts her all into her hard work and is a very kind, caring soul! Kellie will help u along the way figure out what is bothering you and get to the root of the problem you have, only if you’re ready. James does this as well. Two very good counselors who have been through their own situations and use this to help others. Ronda always puts your health above and goes above and beyond to make sure u are taking care of. Shes a wonderful nurse! Allison is very sweet and kind hearted and will do anything it takes to make u feel at peace and have that active listening skill, she is persistent and so is Mel. They both are great at what they do! The lectures are very educational and give u all the tools you may need to out into your tool box to take with you when you leave. I checked myself into the Cox North treatment center about 2010. Got set up on Suboxone. Unfortunately I ended up getting fired before I could finish the treatment and had to get off it all by myself. And I was on 24 mg a day three pills. I wish I’d have been on 2 mg a day. When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop’s going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don’t give up people!

Queen of Peace gave me the tools to save myself from alcohol addiction. Overall, I found the staff to be dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate.
It’s scary admitting you need help with an addiction, especially when you realize you need inpatient treatment. I had a tough time adjusting at first (ended up with 8! roommates in 2 months) but the counselors, peer support staff, and BHTs were always understanding, and supportive. Having access to the beautiful chapel was a blessing as well.
The outpatient program is just as helpful as inpatient. It’s the perfect way to transition back to your “new” normal life.

I want to point out Shayna care coordinator, she goes above and beyond to help someone ! My son was a patient here for a month and a half. I think treatment team did a lot to help him ! Unfortunately he made some choices good and bad really ! He did try but probably needed more attention with his medications for his mental health issues. They all did a lot to help him. I would recommend them if you want to stay clean and learn more skills to cope !! 💯 %.

I’ve not personally used your resources but know of several close friends and family members who have. Majority of them have kept to the guidelines and resources they learned from their time spent with your faculty. I’ve seen their lives do a 360 in just short period and true change. I AM VIETNAM COMBAT VETERAN. THE VA HAD NO ROOMS SO I HAD TO CHOOSE FROM 4 HOSPITALS. SO HAD PREVIOUSLY TAKEN MY WIFE WHO HAS MS TO ST. JOSEPH’S AND WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WAY SHE CARED FOR. SO I CHOSE TO GO TO ST. JOSEPH’S I HAD SERIOUS LEG INFECTION THAT DID NOT ALLOW ME TO WALK. THEY OPERATED ON ME QUIKLY AND I WAS WALKING IN A WEEK. THIS HOSPITAL IS AWESOME 👌

Great specialty hospital with great CNA’s like Vita Williams!. The Case Manager’s could show more empathy and not have you make last minute decisions without being prepared. But overall the hospital staff seem overworked

Very happy with all the knowledge I left here with. The accommodations are pretty good (only recovery place I’ve been). But others who have been to others, mentioned how much better this place is. Just keep in mind you are going there to focus on you. Absorb all the group information and take notes. The staff os all amazing!

The staff at the Aviary, particularly the wonderful nurses, were a crucial factor in my experience. The program’s structure is solid if you listen, learn and keep an open mind. The group experience was average, although some were much better than others. All in all, I am very grateful that I found a place to heal and clear my mind. I have to say the food is average, and the “barn” needs central air. I had to leave a few times because of the heat. However, I needed help, and I found it here.

This place helped me rebuild from the ground up. They brought back structure, gave me space to mentor younger folks, and let me move my body again. Depression hit hard, but they knew how to support that too. Not perfect, but it gave me my purpose back.

Finding a place that saw all of me meant everything. The staff respected my pronouns, and therapy felt safe and real. Art groups helped me speak without words. The food was just ok, but the care? Deeply human. I wish there were more gender-inclusive spaces like this. It wasn’t perfect but it was healing, and that’s what I needed. I walked out stronger, finally feeling seen.

You’ll focus solely on healing without outside distractions or triggers.
Programs typically begin with medical or social detoxification. Medical detox is monitored by trained staff to manage withdrawal symptoms safely. Once stabilized, participants engage in intensive daily schedules made up of individual therapy, group counseling, medication management, and wellness activities. Evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care are often included to address the psychological roots of addiction.
Many inpatient centers also offer support for co-occurring mental health disorders, life skills development, and family therapy to rebuild relationships affected by substance use. The average stay ranges from 28 to 90 days, depending on the severity of the addiction and treatment progress. Inpatient care especially benefits people who’ve experienced relapse, have limited support at home, or are dealing with complex mental health or physical health needs.
