Amazing place! Wish I could’ve stayed longer. I met some awesome people there! The cabins are clean and cozy. They’re like hotel rooms without a TV. I was at Valley Hope for 30 days in January 2023. I desperately needed rehab and because I wasn t covered by insurance had to pay for my treatment. It was, without a doubt, the best money I have ever spent and I would do it again without hesitation. Valley Hope gave me the tools I needed to live a life free from alcohol. We enjoyed our stay! We had caring helpful staff! The privacy for each patient is takin seriously. I would highly recommend coming here because they allow husband and wife, your phone, and they provide the successful lectures to help u make it out in the real world. Their food is relatively good quality, and the portions are more than u may need. They provide medicated assistance to help you with the withdrawals. The staff are very friendly and truly put your total care at heart. Every patient is accommodating, and welcoming. This does help everyone coming in a lot! Mama cleans her butt off and leaves you feeling cared for and like your her own kid! She puts her all into her hard work and is a very kind, caring soul! Kellie will help u along the way figure out what is bothering you and get to the root of the problem you have, only if you re ready. James does this as well. Two very good counselors who have been through their own situations and use this to help others. Ronda always puts your health above and goes above and beyond to make sure u are taking care of. Shes a wonderful nurse! Allison is very sweet and kind hearted and will do anything it takes to make u feel at peace and have that active listening skill, she is persistent and so is Mel. They both are great at what they do! The lectures are very educational and give u all the tools you may need to out into your tool box to take with you when you leave. Great place. I was sick alchohol detoxing in the hospital and got transferred here. I only stayed a day for personal reasons but the staff was kind and helpful, they made sure everything was taken care of and I felt safe the entire time.

My appointment was with a Physical Therapist and even though extremely busy Jennifer was wonderful to work with, knowledgeable, and very personable. This was my first trip to this facility and I could not have received better treatment. Queen of Peace gave me the tools to save myself from alcohol addiction. Overall, I found the staff to be dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate.It s scary admitting you need help with an addiction, especially when you realize you need inpatient treatment. I had a tough time adjusting at first (ended up with 8! roommates in 2 months) but the counselors, peer support staff, and BHTs were always understanding, and supportive. Having access to the beautiful chapel was a blessing as well.The outpatient program is just as helpful as inpatient. I just finished my 30 days here and I can t say enough amazing things about this place. My counselor Sarah and also Andy played such an integral part in my recovery and even more importantly the aftercare. Aside from meeting so many others there that I could relate to and consider friends the staff was the utmost important when it came to giving me the tools I needed to stay clean at home. I did treatment twice at semo. Once to get clean and once to prevent a relapse. My cooccuring councilor mr virgil and my facilitator saved my life. When leaving treatment my facilitator asked me to check out a specific type of meeting when leaving and the truly taught me how to fight within for my sobriety. Today i am 5 yrs 2 months and 19 days sober and i never went to another facility and no relapses! Hadnt they taken me serious during my cry before relapse and let me back in i wouldnt be here today! I cannot imagine any other facility would be as thorough, caring, and determined to get me back to ‘normal’ after my surgery and hospital stay.I have to name the EXCELLENT staff by name as the TRUE heroes need to be recognized. First, the outstanding nursing staff; Winnie, Elham, Lem Lem, Krystal, and Shayla (Shay). They were very attentive and never ONCE made me feel that I was ‘bothering’ them even when I needed them at midnight or noon.The techs that went beyond the call of duty and must be named are Lyn – who was always friendly and smiling. This can make a person’s day when spending multiple days in a facility. Also, Lea and An’drea were cheerful and attentive. These employees seem to truly LOVE what they do! Thanks to all them! Thanks to SSM Rehab Hospital for hiring people who really CARE about your patients!Physical Therapy Staff I need to recognize are Megan who was my primary therapist. She was so supportive, understanding, and encouraging. She knew exactly what I needed and ‘PUSHED’ me to go further and do more than I thought I could! Jeremy and Candace stand out as techs who were there when they were needed and went beyond the call of duty to serve their patients. I will never forget their kindness. The entire staff was so supportive!Amy, my case manager, was very helpful and set up everything for my return home. She was there to keep me informed. At the time of my illness, Amy was working alone as they were short handed in the Case Management department. She was managing everyone on the floor. I’m going to guess there were almost 50 people at that time on the floor. Her management and people skills shone through at a time when it had to be stressful!

In my opinion, SSM Acute Rehab deserves the highest rating we can give. Let me provide you with a quick overview. Note, I was there over a 3-4 week period.Doctors: Each patient has a Rehab and Medical doctor who came to see and speak to me everyday of my stay. They were professional and best of all compassionate.The insurance team fought my insurance company to ensure I received the best care possible and extended my stay 3 times.The Nurses and Techs responded quickly and worked to assist me with all my needs. I was treated like royalty.Admittedly, the food was less than satisfying. However, I did not come to eat. I came to work and walk again.By far, I save my greatest praise to the OTs, PTs and their Techs. Each day I was asked about my goals for that day. You would be surprised how quickly you heal if you accomplish daily goals. This group of individuals outlined expectations and assisted me with encouragement, support, and a sense of compassion I have not witnessed in a long time. My condition was complicated from the beginning, but the team found a way to tackle the road blocks and clear a path for me to succeed! Even though I have a ways to go, I did walk out of the hospital and accomplished my goal with Everyone’s help. I cannot thank St. Mary’s Rehab enough for the support and compassion. I had the best experience I could ve imagined. The kindness, consideration, experience and compassion. Not one staff member had an attitude the entire time I was here, from housekeeping to nursing and therapy. I recently finished treatment at the Aviary. It changed my life. All of the counselars truly care about every single clients and are awesome helping you in anyway they can. The nurses are super awesome and friendly. The coaches care and run their butts off helping all the clients. The admin office will work their butts off helping in anyway they can(especially hounding your hr department at work to get your insurance info when they drag their feet getting the info sent off). The kitchen staff are awesome, they work so hard fixing good food and they deliver. Love ya Miss Debbie!!!! Nothing bad to say about the Aviary. Thank you so much for helping me. As a former client I have to say Aviary was a life changing experience. The staff really cared for us and was always willing to help. I learned so much from them. Addiction is a killer. I m so happy and grateful for my experience there. I m still sober and living my best life in recovery. I would recommend the Aviary to anyone.

This place saved my life. Seriously the staff are wonderful compassionate caring people and go above and beyond to help clients who are seeking recovery and are serious about it! I absolutely recommend the Lafayette House to women seeking shelter for substance abuse and safety from domestic violence, children are welcome too. They offer so many services. You’ll focus solely on healing without outside distractions or triggers.
Programs typically begin with medical or social detoxification. Medical detox is monitored by trained staff to manage withdrawal symptoms safely. Once stabilized, participants engage in intensive daily schedules made up of individual therapy, group counseling, medication management, and wellness activities. Evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care are often included to address the psychological roots of addiction.
Many inpatient centers also offer support for co-occurring mental health disorders, life skills development, and family therapy to rebuild relationships affected by substance use. The average stay ranges from 28 to 90 days, depending on the severity of the addiction and treatment progress.
