I stayed at Synergy for a little over a month in the early spring. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone struggling with recovery. The staff is warm and supportive, they really make an experience that is often very difficult much easier. Amazing place! Wish I could’ve stayed longer. I met some awesome people there! The cabins are clean and cozy. They’re like hotel rooms without a TV. I was at Valley Hope for 30 days in January 2023. I desperately needed rehab and because I wasn t covered by insurance had to pay for my treatment. It was, without a doubt, the best money I have ever spent and I would do it again without hesitation. Valley Hope gave me the tools I needed to live a life free from alcohol. We enjoyed our stay! We had caring helpful staff! The privacy for each patient is takin seriously. I would highly recommend coming here because they allow husband and wife, your phone, and they provide the successful lectures to help u make it out in the real world. Their food is relatively good quality, and the portions are more than u may need. They provide medicated assistance to help you with the withdrawals. The staff are very friendly and truly put your total care at heart. Every patient is accommodating, and welcoming. This does help everyone coming in a lot! Mama cleans her butt off and leaves you feeling cared for and like your her own kid! She puts her all into her hard work and is a very kind, caring soul! Kellie will help u along the way figure out what is bothering you and get to the root of the problem you have, only if you re ready. James does this as well. Two very good counselors who have been through their own situations and use this to help others. Ronda always puts your health above and goes above and beyond to make sure u are taking care of. Shes a wonderful nurse! Allison is very sweet and kind hearted and will do anything it takes to make u feel at peace and have that active listening skill, she is persistent and so is Mel. They both are great at what they do! The lectures are very educational and give u all the tools you may need to out into your tool box to take with you when you leave. I checked myself into the Cox North treatment center about 2010. Got set up on Suboxone. Unfortunately I ended up getting fired before I could finish the treatment and had to get off it all by myself. And I was on 24 mg a day three pills. I wish I’d have been on 2 mg a day. When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop’s going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don’t give up people!

Great place. I was sick alchohol detoxing in the hospital and got transferred here. I only stayed a day for personal reasons but the staff was kind and helpful, they made sure everything was taken care of and I felt safe the entire time.

I have been a patient at the Poplar Bluff VA for many years. My overall experience has been excellent patient care. I have worked in hospitals all over the US and this VA is top notch.
My only complaint is trying to reach them by phone through the operator. Waiting 5+ minutes for an operator to answer your initial call is unacceptable. No matter what time of day, it takes forever for an operator to pick up.

Rusk Rehabilitation is a first rate place. My PT Miranda was the best possible physical therapist very professional and caring. Tracy was my occupational therapist and was top notch and caring as well. Can’t imagine having a better place for Rehabilitation . The second week that I was there every meal for the entire week had something missing or incorrect but the food itself was excellent

Queen of Peace gave me the tools to save myself from alcohol addiction. Overall, I found the staff to be dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate.
It’s scary admitting you need help with an addiction, especially when you realize you need inpatient treatment. I had a tough time adjusting at first (ended up with 8! roommates in 2 months) but the counselors, peer support staff, and BHTs were always understanding, and supportive. Having access to the beautiful chapel was a blessing as well.
The outpatient program is just as helpful as inpatient. It’s the perfect way to transition back to your “new” normal life.

I first came here in 2012 when I had moved here. I knew no one and was suggested trying this doctor phycility. Have always had kind, professional service with most everyone. I have loved my Primary doctors and Pa’s, NP’s and now my eye doctor I have seen here in the last year. I especially have loved the gynocology department and Dr Rengachary, who is now retired, but they are still very nice, thorough and caring.
I now see Dr Alma Navato as my Primary Care, adult medicine doctor.

Great place to get sober and stay off the streets. The only issue I have with the BHG here in springfield is the over pricing for treatment. I came from a bhg in okc and it is144 cheaper than here. Someone is taking advantage of people here. And in okc you have the option to either dose the pill form or the liquid. Sooo hmmm 🤔 but I don’t think it’s from the clinic itself. I believe the state of missouri has their hand in the cookie jar!

The difference between this treatment center and the rest has to do with the exceptional people that work there. They’re non-judgmental, compassionate, they’re not critical of us when we make a bad judgment call. This is they’re statement “Triumphing over opioid addiction by integrating treatment, counseling and COMPASSIONATE PATIENT CARE THAT SAVES LIVES”. The last sentence is remarkable, true and they mean it. I’ve been addicted over 40 yrs. I’ve wasted an entire lifetime. This is the first TX center that didn’t make me feel ashamed, judged and no one working there is anything but special, caring, compassionate and kind. I’ve never got clean out here before. Very good care at the VA hospital and I’ve noticed that those who complain are those who normally don’t follow through with their appointments. Everybody at the Kansas City VA is very professional and they take good care of their Veterans!

I am a Marine Corps veteran and have had a wife gamut of health care treatment on the civilian side since leaving active duty in 1993. I took my healthcare treatment to the Kansas City VA Medical Center in 2023 because the exposure to particulates in Saudia Arabia, no thanks to Saddam, was taking a firm hold on my body.
The care that I have received at the KCVA is remarkable. I’ve been treated as an income in other places. Here, I am one who needs care as a whole person. And that is what I have experienced. I have also met other brothers and sisters from other uniformed services and, together, we share stories of our time in service and experiences at that facility.
The personnel care for the veterans they serve. I have spoken to many patients who are more than a little concerned about how things are going with the current climate in the nation. They don’t want to lose this facility nor the people who make it work very well. I agree with them and have called my senators and congresswoman. Please help us keep this veterans medical center open and functional.

The VA is truly a special place. Endless money will continue be poured into DOD, but at the end of your tour, when you are discharged back into the civilian world, the VA is a place where true camaraderie and fellowship lives.
I’ve witnessed elderly Veterans pushing other Veterans into the hospital by wheelchair. I’ve witnessed friendships bloom and war stories exchanged in the waiting rooms.
More than likely, privatized civilian hospital staff wouldn’t truly understand a patient who has struggled with severe PTSD from combat, or a veteran who has Parkinson’s or severe neuropathy due to toxic exposures. Did you know, military Veterans are nearly twice as likely to be diagnosed with ALS than non military?
More than likely, in a privatized civilian hospital your just another body in the door. They don’t understand the plight of the military Veteran.
The VA is different. A good amount of VA staff are Veterans and they choose to work for the VA to continue the mission. To serve those who have served.
If our Nation’s leaders will step up and fund the VA to care for those who signed a blank check (the same way they fund DOD), the VA could easily be the top in the nation. Sure, there are bad apples here and there, but the majority of VA staff feel strongly and passionately about it’s patient population.
I’ve been receiving care at the VA for nearly a decade. As a female Veteran, the VA has come a long way for women’s care and if they don’t have the provider to accommodate your medical need, the VA will send you out to get the care you need.
I’ve seen many specialists at the KCVA and have overall received EXCELLENT care.
This will be a challenge if the VA doesn’t hire more healthcare workers who are essential to be operational.
Please continue to support the VA and it’s mission. Veterans need and deserve this network!

I want to point out Shayna care coordinator, she goes above and beyond to help someone ! My son was a patient here for a month and a half. I think treatment team did a lot to help him ! Unfortunately he made some choices good and bad really ! He did try but probably needed more attention with his medications for his mental health issues. They all did a lot to help him. I would recommend them if you want to stay clean and learn more skills to cope !! 💯 %.

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it’s really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you’re on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don’t even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it’ s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I’m learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It’s about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.

Currently in the ER with our 3 year old. We’ve been here 5 hours and have received the absolute best care! We were checked in and triaged within 20 minutes and back in a room 15 minutes after that. Every single staff we have come in contact with has been extremely kind and patient. The doctor has answered every question I have had and our nurse Mr. Bill has been a delight! Has made my daughter feel so relaxed and comfortable (as best as you can hooked up to iv’s and brew and breathing treatments). So glad to know we have such quality services in our backyard!

The staff at the Aviary, particularly the wonderful nurses, were a crucial factor in my experience. The program’s structure is solid if you listen, learn and keep an open mind. The group experience was average, although some were much better than others. All in all, I am very grateful that I found a place to heal and clear my mind. I have to say the food is average, and the “barn” needs central air. I had to leave a few times because of the heat. However, I needed help, and I found it here.

Going to The Aviary was a great experience and exactly what I needed at the time. I was very anxious to go to a recovery center and this far exceeded my expectations. The program was very informative and helpful, staff was excellent, and the food was good. Mike, Ralph, and Sarah (coach) will always be in my heart for the help they provided. Overall, it’s an amazing place. The food is great, the staff is wonderful, and the accommodations are excellent. The daily schedule is similar to a 9-5 job, with many opportunities to try or learn something new.

Alcohol use disorder (AUD) treatment is a multi-phase process to help individuals stop drinking and address the reasons they abuse alcohol. Depending on the severity and personal needs, treatment may occur in residential rehab or in intensive or standard outpatient settings.
The first step is usually medically monitored detox to safely manage withdrawal symptoms that range from mild anxiety to severe complications like seizures or delirium tremens. Once stabilized, participants in Missouri treatment centers engage in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family counseling to uncover the emotional and behavioral drivers behind their drinking.
Some benefit from medication-assisted treatment (MAT), using FDA-approved medications like naltrexone, acamprosate, or disulfiram to reduce cravings or discourage alcohol use.
