I've recently completed a 90+ day stay at Hope Harbor Wellness, and I was thoroughly impressed. I particularly enjoyed the group sessions, especially the night sessions. The facilitators who headed group therapy were welcoming and engaging both day and night. The wide range of nurses and techs on hand were incredibly courteous and professional, and my therapists were excellent at listening, delving deep into underlying issues, and were easily accessible to me. I also appreciated and very much enjoyed the red light therapy offered at this facility. Many thanks to all the staff for all of their help, expertise and overall caring nature. I did not know what to expect when I came into rehab. The staff made me feel right at home. The facility was clean, the rules were solid and it was a safe environment. My therapist, Billy T., really helped me a lot through process groups and one-on-one sessions. I have tried therapy in the past but never gotten so much out of it. Really some huge breakthroughs I did not expect because I do not generally like therapy. John O handled all my outside concerns thoroughly and timely and the things that were important were treated as important. Same for Woody who delt with all the HR stuff with my work like FMLA. Overall the entire staff was great, and I also liked Tyler P's morning reflections.The food is also great and you can smoke cigarettes.

I spent 3 months at Talbott in-patient beginning in October 2020, and then an additional 3 months in their sober living program (which has since been discontinued). Before I came to Talbott, I was broken, unable to function or live any kind of life period. I couldn’t see any other way until I found Talbott.
The most important thing I found at Talbott was a community of individuals who were struggling with the same things I was - my time at Talbott showed me the importance of community and connection. This connection and sense of community was fostered by people like my counselors Allie and Sam, and more so by our community coordinators Ben and Christian.
Ben especially left an indelible mark on my life and my perspective on addiction and finding recovery. His ability to connect with patients and former patients is remarkable and too seldom found in the treatment world. I will never forget the first time I heard Ben speak - he has a wholly unique ability to give people hope, especially when they are at their lowest.
I have carried the lessons Ben and everyone at Talbott taught me since then, and I now have over 4 1/2 years clean and sober. Talbott changed my life and for that I will be forever grateful.

I have been through a couple of rehabs, both were great experiences in their own way, but I greatly appreciated the staff here, from techs to nurses to counselors. Many have been through recovery themselves, and the level of care and empathy was apparent from day 1. They handled my detox well... I still had symptoms, which is expected, but they made me as comfortable as possible. I'm not sure where the negative feedback is coming from, because after my brother passed and I relapsed, they did everything possible to help get me back on the right track. The groups are educational and worth attending, and I absolutely loved small group and Experiential days. Charlie, Julia, Jen, Deb, Alexa, John, and Jess were all amazing and truly cared about our recovery. Highly recommend for anyone who is ready to start their recovery journey. Thank you, Blue Ridge.

This place is lovely. They are excellent at working with your insurance and helping you to get the most out your time in treatment. The staff are very warm and supportive and do everything they can to make life easier for you while you are there. Really, this place provides quality of care way above and beyond the norm for this level of care, while allowing you both great freedom and supportive structure. If you are looking for a place that feels like home (only probably more stable), this is the place for you. They always make sure you have transportation available, which is great for people who don t have cars. They let you work and build community and they don t give up on people easily. The location is great, the housing is great, and the staff are amazing. The maximum stay is six months although I guess they make exceptions. They have alumni activities and you are always welcome to return once you graduate.Five stars. And believe me, I know my treatment centers.

So, I have a different story than most as I have not attended any Program here, but through a referral by my Therapist I was connected with Megan as I was looking at their IOP program. OMG - She has gone so far above and beyond to help me it is insane!!When it was discovered that due to UHC and they horrible coverage of late, I am not able to get into The Carter Center without incurring significant costs that would be impossible to overcome. Meagan RECOMMENDED that I look at other facilities and proceeded to list them and their locations - even willing to make a call to an in-network provider much closer to my home.This is such an amazingly refreshing perspective I know in my heart that they are in the business of helping people who want/need help and not just check a box because of a legal requirement. Ive ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help, which is why I can say that ERIC assessed my dilemma for what it was and did his best to move Heaven and earth for me to get me the help i needed 2 days ago. He had an entire queue to help and he took my case as personal as was needed to help me. Moving here I have to change my Medicaid to Ga. which is NOT ez or quick. And I, having heart disease and 5 stents in my heart from 2 heart attacks. Short version of of i didn't get help and go into withdrawl the strain on my heart would no doubt KILL me. The man devoted most of his day trying to get my situation straightened out. Im detailing this because I want you to know this was the BEST service ive ever received in my 60 plus years on this planet, and it happened when my literal life was on the line. Healthqwest cant be beat if you want genuine effort with your help. The prices are competitive but you can't go wrong using them.Ill answer any question or comment too. The medication I take is no joke. I take it for a broken back I got when I was year ended on my motorcycle at a red light. I take it for Pain mgmt.Its a serious subject and serious things happen with it....and more without it. So far it has been good I recently transferred in from another clinic they were very helpful the only thing I do not like is all medicaid recipients have to video call daily to take the dose in front of a nurse or else we are not covered by medicaid for that day. Which is a medicaid thing but thats the only difference from my last clinic

My oh my! What can I say about Black Bear!? During my time at Black Bear I was rebellious at first because I'm an Addict. After getting settled, I realized that Black Bear Lodge is more than a rehab... it is a spiritual, holistic retreat! The walks from cabins to the different centers and the theater was amazing. I was physically unfit because of my alcoholism. When I left Black Bear I was much stronger physically and mentally. The counselors are so amazing and attentive. I had Corey my first time and Susan my second time (took me two times but that's neither here nor there lol. They were so empathetic. The nurses were amazing! Ms. Sylvia was the best nurse I ever had! Her daughter Jess was a tech and she was so caring and understanding. I had fun during my stay. I met some very comical people that I still stay in contact with to this day. Today I am almost 1 year and 1 month sober! I couldn't be here without the self care and mental health information that I learned from Black Bear! The food was great! The chef even caters to special diets (vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerance). The staff really cares about the clients. I could go on and on about Black Bear and my review is jumbled because there is just so much good there! Detox was great, recovery was great, cabins were amazingly beautiful and relaxing, classes were informative, nursing was amazing...even the van drivers were awesome, so funny and caring. The off campus AA meetings were a good experience and prepares you for going to meetings after you get discharged. The administrative staff and discharge coordinators are great. Loved Melissa and the two Amandas and the many Heathers lol! I can't remember all the names but I love them all! I would honestly go to Black Bear just to chill if they allowed alumni to do that! Anyways, there might be some things that you may not like but if you are humble, open and vulnerable you can have an amazing experience at Black Bear Lodge Recovery!

My stay at Black Bear Lodge was surprisingly pleasant, despite my circumstances. The food was better than good, and having the nature walks and hikes were essential to my recovery. Looking back, I am so grateful for these small luxuries because they made all the difference. Especially since a lot of these places lack those commodities.

I literally can't say enough about the staff and how absolutely wonderful they are. Jesus himself must have selected these people to help those in need. The amount of care each individual person provides and how well they listen and talk to you is above anything I could have ever imagined.If you are nervous about joining this program like I was, don't be. You are treated like a person, not a patient. I was literally sad to leave these angels at the end of my treatment.

It's my first time ever in recovery, but I've heard stories of how bad some places treat you and how nasty the food is. Well not at recovery village. The staff treat you with respect and are there to help in your recovery. They show that they actually care from the day you first contact them by calling to simply check on you every day until your arrival. They have some of the best therapists in the world. There tech are there to serve you and not demand any thing accept you following the rules of the facility. I loved this place and one I'm done with my sober living I'm going to return so they can see the evidence of there work. I'm very glad I chose this place as the start of my sobriety and recovery.
