    I spent about three months in their IOP program, and it made a huge difference for me! Raj Iyer is a fantastic therapist, and the group facilitators do a great job at making the lessons engaging and relatable. As a college student, I was part of the young adult group, where my peers were welcoming and supportive. No matter what you’re struggling with, this is a program that’s worth trying.

    Embark is genuinely the best place to get treatment. I looked so different leaving the program than when I came in. The staff are so kind, considerate, they provide such helpful skills to help with mental health and urges. Ja’Monica, Susan, Myron, Loren, Jimmy, Terri, David, Maddie, Mona, Vessena, De’Ja, Sade, and Dr. Hooper yall are genuinely so precious to me and yall will always have a place in my heart. Ja’Monica was my personal therapist and I learned so much from her and her EMDR amongst all her other methods of therapy. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They’re also really good with security on a real note, they always make sure we as the clients are protected in every way shape or form. Susan will push you past your limits in the best way possible. If you get mad at what she says that’s in your best interest, you’ll know it’s what you need to work on 😂 THANK YOU EMBARK 💖💖💖

    I really appreciate the workers at this hospital. They are kind, accomodating and respectful. I didn’t feel condescended to, nor treated like less of a human being. I felt that the workers set a tone of respect and dignity and support on the unit. The groups were awesome and very well facilitated. I felt like they weren’t just there for a paycheck, that they actually cared about doing a good job. I would definitely go back there if I ever need mental health inpatient care.

    It was a safe place during my most suicidal years. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day. That was a necessity for me as an autistic person, in order to prevent overwhelm and truly feel safe. Therapy groups could be stressful, but I wasn’t forced to attend which I really appreciate. When life feels so out of control, small things like that can go a long way

    I came to this center after a traumatic experience. These people made me whole again. I cannot say how much this place meant to me the 4 months I was there. Caring nurses, wonderful doctors and a cook who knew how to make hospital food palatable. I cannot recommend this place more!

    After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the best decision of my life. To stay there. I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more. Not only did I learn to stop drinking and live life without alcohol, but I leather be an adult. To ask for help. And most importantly I learned that I was not alone in my life or my journey. Wonderful place with great staff. You may not know it or believe it but this place is the BEST chance you have at getting sober and learning how to live a good life. Period.

    My time at MARR has fundamentally changed my life. I have a strong foundation in sobriety, many coping tools in my toolbox and a large network of sober men and women who I will forever call friends. I especially love the Professionals Program (ARP) where I participated in Mirror Image classes, working with peers who had overcome their addiction and achieved the life I wanted to be living.     As with all rehabs, you get out what you put in, but this place makes it easy if you are willing to do the work. The clinical staff is extremely knowledgeable and has a wide breadth of wisdom between them. The food is great and the sleeping quarters are very comfortable. The CEO is amazing and makes herself available to the patients which is something I was very impressed with. All in all I feel very safe and comfortable for my entire two month stay.

    Walking thru the front door is one of the hardest but smartest decision you’ll make for your life. The first couple of days of detox are the hardest. If I can give you any advice, just sit in the program! It will fly by before you know it. The medical staff is incredible! The Tech’s are fun & related! The food is beyond amazing! Most Everyone has been if your shoes before and recovering addicts. You got this!! Seriously, take the leap! You won’t regret it

    Both Nautica and chris were amazing. The staff was also great as well. I felt very comfortable here. I would recommend it to anyone.
