I’ve recently completed a 90+ day stay at Hope Harbor Wellness, and I was thoroughly impressed. I particularly enjoyed the group sessions, especially the night sessions. The facilitators who headed group therapy were welcoming and engaging both day and night. The wide range of nurses and techs on hand were incredibly courteous and professional, and my therapists were excellent at listening, delving deep into underlying issues, and were easily accessible to me. I also appreciated and very much enjoyed the red light therapy offered at this facility. Many thanks to all the staff for all of their help, expertise and overall caring nature. I did not know what to expect when I came into rehab. The staff made me feel right at home. The facility was clean, the rules were solid and it was a safe environment. My therapist, Billy T., really helped me a lot through process groups and one-on-one sessions. I have tried therapy in the past but never gotten so much out of it. Really some huge breakthroughs I did not expect because I do not generally like therapy. John O handled all my outside concerns thoroughly and timely and the things that were important were treated as important. Same for Woody who delt with all the HR stuff with my work like FMLA. Overall the entire staff was great, and I also liked Tyler P’s morning reflections.The food is also great and you can smoke cigarettes.

I spent 3 months at Talbott in-patient beginning in October 2020, and then an additional 3 months in their sober living program (which has since been discontinued). Before I came to Talbott, I was broken, unable to function or live any kind of life period. I couldn’t see any other way until I found Talbott.
The most important thing I found at Talbott was a community of individuals who were struggling with the same things I was – my time at Talbott showed me the importance of community and connection. This connection and sense of community was fostered by people like my counselors Allie and Sam, and more so by our community coordinators Ben and Christian.
Ben especially left an indelible mark on my life and my perspective on addiction and finding recovery. His ability to connect with patients and former patients is remarkable and too seldom found in the treatment world. I will never forget the first time I heard Ben speak – he has a wholly unique ability to give people hope, especially when they are at their lowest.
I have carried the lessons Ben and everyone at Talbott taught me since then, and I now have over 4 1/2 years clean and sober. Talbott changed my life and for that I will be forever grateful.

I have been through a couple of rehabs, both were great experiences in their own way, but I greatly appreciated the staff here, from techs to nurses to counselors. Many have been through recovery themselves, and the level of care and empathy was apparent from day 1. They handled my detox well… I still had symptoms, which is expected, but they made me as comfortable as possible. I’m not sure where the negative feedback is coming from, because after my brother passed and I relapsed, they did everything possible to help get me back on the right track. The groups are educational and worth attending, and I absolutely loved small group and Experiential days. Charlie, Julia, Jen, Deb, Alexa, John, and Jess were all amazing and truly cared about our recovery. Highly recommend for anyone who is ready to start their recovery journey. Thank you, Blue Ridge.

This place is lovely. They are excellent at working with your insurance and helping you to get the most out your time in treatment. The staff are very warm and supportive and do everything they can to make life easier for you while you are there. Really, this place provides quality of care way above and beyond the norm for this level of care, while allowing you both great freedom and supportive structure. If you are looking for a place that feels like home (only probably more stable), this is the place for you. They always make sure you have transportation available, which is great for people who don t have cars. They let you work and build community and they don t give up on people easily. The location is great, the housing is great, and the staff are amazing. The maximum stay is six months although I guess they make exceptions. They have alumni activities and you are always welcome to return once you graduate.Five stars. And believe me, I know my treatment centers.

My oh my! What can I say about Black Bear!? During my time at Black Bear I was rebellious at first because I’m an Addict. After getting settled, I realized that Black Bear Lodge is more than a rehab… it is a spiritual, holistic retreat! The walks from cabins to the different centers and the theater was amazing. I was physically unfit because of my alcoholism. When I left Black Bear I was much stronger physically and mentally. The counselors are so amazing and attentive. I had Corey my first time and Susan my second time (took me two times but that’s neither here nor there lol. They were so empathetic. The nurses were amazing! Ms. Sylvia was the best nurse I ever had! Her daughter Jess was a tech and she was so caring and understanding. I had fun during my stay. I met some very comical people that I still stay in contact with to this day. Today I am almost 1 year and 1 month sober! I couldn’t be here without the self care and mental health information that I learned from Black Bear! The food was great! The chef even caters to special diets (vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerance). The staff really cares about the clients. I could go on and on about Black Bear and my review is jumbled because there is just so much good there! Detox was great, recovery was great, cabins were amazingly beautiful and relaxing, classes were informative, nursing was amazing…even the van drivers were awesome, so funny and caring. The off campus AA meetings were a good experience and prepares you for going to meetings after you get discharged. The administrative staff and discharge coordinators are great. Loved Melissa and the two Amandas and the many Heathers lol! I can’t remember all the names but I love them all! I would honestly go to Black Bear just to chill if they allowed alumni to do that! Anyways, there might be some things that you may not like but if you are humble, open and vulnerable you can have an amazing experience at Black Bear Lodge Recovery!

The staff was great, and I learned a lot. I d recommend them to anyone. I see a long sobriety in my future because of the help I received from recovery village.

It’s my first time ever in recovery, but I’ve heard stories of how bad some places treat you and how nasty the food is. Well not at recovery village. The staff treat you with respect and are there to help in your recovery. They show that they actually care from the day you first contact them by calling to simply check on you every day until your arrival. They have some of the best therapists in the world. There tech are there to serve you and not demand any thing accept you following the rules of the facility. I loved this place and one I’m done with my sober living I’m going to return so they can see the evidence of there work. I’m very glad I chose this place as the start of my sobriety and recovery. I have been coming here since 2018 and have had my share of personal problems. But I ve been able to stay on and ONLY on methadone my entire time here thanks to Mr Willis and the doctors. The director Mr Willis is nothing short of a savior. I know this because I have researched how other patients are treated at other clinics around the country. The methadone subreddit r/methadone is where I ve learned a lot about the various methadone clinics and their practices. I m truly lucky to have Mr Willis as the director here.Mr Willis has single handedly kept me from going to the street on more than one occasion. Other clinics with a different director would not have worked as hard to help keep the patient on the right path.

I wanted to take the time out , and just say the staff is amazing here at new seasons in ( Fort Oglethorpe) of course!! There is so much to brag about and so many people that work here that need recognition.. I do want to shout out to Robbie!! He’s amazing , such a kinda soul, and he has done so much to the building! ( I honestly think he’s a secret interior decorator) It’s like a super power he has ,, oh and Thank you for the new water machine !!! I love you for that . Everyone there is welcoming with no kinda judgement torwds you, they try to help in everyway possible.. they all have a part to play u got the office people like Amanda, she’s great very kind . Polite, and always has time to talk or explain things if u have questions. She’s really good about answering them or figuring out the answer.. then u got the counselors mine in particular is the best .. I am biased tho ..lol . Naw there all great . Mines just the best and then you have the beautiful lady’s up front , when you come in to dose there always welcoming !! Never bitter .. all in all it’s been a pretty cool experience though this part of my recovery.. I’m very blessed to have been accepted to work the program here . The staff are very helpful and amazing, the treatment most definitely helped me to combat my substance abuse problem. Big shout-out to Mr Terrance and Mrs Crystal I miss y’all and think about y’all all the time. I had some fun amazing times there and wish I could come come back just to kick it for another 30 days. By the way way the food is super fire and everyone gains so much weight. I came in 225 pounds and left 273 pounds in 30 days.

6/8/10 I walked into St Illa. Broken, afraid, and ashamed. I know I wasn’t the easiest person to deal with, but the staff treated me with respect. I completed detox and set about putting the pieces of my life back together. It has been a long and winding road, but I started college at age 50 and have been working in the field of addiction treatment for 6 years.
Yesterday marked 13 years drug free and the memory of the moment I walked through those doors remains fresh in my mind.
If you’re reading this with the thought of seeking treatment, do it. Do it now. You can be free. You are worth it. This place literally saved my life.
To the staff- I did not understand at the time everything you said and did, or why. But I do now. I’m sure none of the same people are there, but I will forever be grateful ♥️

Reviewing from a perspective of both personal experience as well as that of a loved one. MARR is an excellent choice for treatment, the staff all competent and qualified. There are doctors and nurses on staff/on site. Everyone works around the clock for the benefit of their residences – there is absolutely no other program that provides as complete of care as MARR does. They offer intensive care through every stage of recovery for each client. There are few other programs that provide extensive, long term, physical and emotional level care, individual and group therapy, teaches applicable life skills as well as drug and alcohol education and support. I have seen MARR do wonders for many people, from all backgrounds and situations, and leading to clients actively living productive, happy, substance free lives and contributing to the world and people around them. All of this and at a ridiculously affordable rate comparably.

MARR holds a very special place in my heart. I love it. It was everything I had heard previously to going there (the best way to describe it is big girl rehab .).
