    I had been searching tirelessly for support with my mental health and was on the verge of giving up when I discovered The Summit Wellness Group. This place surpasses expectations by offering a variety of therapeutic approaches and helping individuals recognize certain behaviors in themselves and others. The staff and therapists are exceptionally compassionate and understanding. While I sometimes wish I had found this place earlier, I am thankful for discovering it at the right moment. This place has been instrumental in helping me rebuild myself, set boundaries, and identify my talents. It has truly been a lifesaver, and for that, I am profoundly and eternally grateful.

    I learned of The Summit Wellness Group in Atlanta, as I researched places suitable for my loved one to receive the needed care. I was tired and beaten down but hopeful to find the perfect fit, and boy did I find it! Firstly, it is staffed with the most knowledgeable and compassionate people an institution of this nature could provide. The staff was warm and inviting on day one; a day that a very anxious young person needed this type of reception. While I wasn’t privy to the treatment provided, not hearing one complaint says a lot! In fact, I only heard positive things and saw excitement, which to me equates to trust and commitment to treatment. I don’t know how they do it but they are very successful in what they do. They’ve helped my loved one see her full potential, love herself again, and gain the renewed confidence necessary to survive this crazy world. If you are looking for the perfect place and group of professionals to help you cope with those demons, give The Summit a chance. I’m betting that you will not regret it.     I really appreciate the staff at Talbott Recovery which made my stay a lot better I want to especially thank my therapist Akida Who last day Was Friday and I left on Monday, which was great for me because I got to have him the whole time I was there.     Being at Alana was a great experience for me. I had a chance to learn a lot of things about recovery and the mental aspect of what drugs and alcohol does to the body as a hole. I would definitely recommend this place to others such as myself that’s trying to get their lives together. I stayed there 3 months,and I wish I was able to stay there even longer,Ms.Laura,Ms.Brenda,Colin,Chris,Cliff,and Caitlin played a big role in my recovery,these are PEOPLE THAT ILL NEVER FORGET. They helped me so much along the way,I plan in going back to Alana to work,once I get enough clean time.. God Bless the whole entire staff at Alana,including my peers that I left when I graduated…Im looking forward to attending The Alumni gatherings.My journey is by far over with.     I had a good experience at Alana can honestly say it’s changed my life for the better Mrs Laura Mrs Brittney Were Wonder And understanding the whole time Mrs Brenda And Colin are really kind hearted always made me feel right at home at Alana Mrs Sara Also always very professional when helping with any information or housing. And Mr Cliff The Alumni Director was great tons of energy and wisdom from him his events and meetings were always something to look forward to!     After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the best decision of my life. To stay there. I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more. Not only did I learn to stop drinking and live life without alcohol, but I leather be an adult. To ask for help. And most importantly I learned that I was not alone in my life or my journey. Wonderful place with great staff. You may not know it or believe it but this place is the BEST chance you have at getting sober and learning how to live a good life. Period.

    My time at MARR has fundamentally changed my life. I have a strong foundation in sobriety, many coping tools in my toolbox and a large network of sober men and women who I will forever call friends. I especially love the Professionals Program (ARP) where I participated in Mirror Image classes, working with peers who had overcome their addiction and achieved the life I wanted to be living. Recovery is truly one day at a time and MARR is the best place to make each day count.

    I really appreciate the workers at this hospital. They are kind, accomodating and respectful. I didn’t feel condescended to, nor treated like less of a human being. I felt that the workers set a tone of respect and dignity and support on the unit. The groups were awesome and very well facilitated. I felt like they weren’t just there for a paycheck, that they actually cared about doing a good job. I would definitely go back there if I ever need mental health inpatient care.

    It was a safe place during my most suicidal years. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day. That was a necessity for me as an autistic person, in order to prevent overwhelm and truly feel safe. Therapy groups could be stressful, but I wasn’t forced to attend which I really appreciate. When life feels so out of control, small things like that can go a long way

    I came to this center after a traumatic experience. These people made me whole again. I cannot say how much this place meant to me the 4 months I was there. Caring nurses, wonderful doctors and a cook who knew how to make hospital food palatable. I cannot recommend this place more!

    I arrived at Purple last October feeling completely alone, broken, and tired of the way I had been living. The first day I arrived I was met by Nick one of the staff members, and immediately he made it clear that I was family. I was welcomed by the staff, the community members, and the alumni like I was their own brother. And that’s what stands out above everything else with purple, it’s a true brotherhood. You learn that you don’t have to face life alone, and the true value of having a community. During my 6 months here, I grew close with a lot of the guys through the workouts, hikes, group therapy sessions, and all the little moments in between. I couldn’t be more grateful for the brotherhood I have today and the second home that Purple has become. If you’re thinking about getting some help and want to do something about your problem, then I would highly recommend this place.     I came to Purple at the lowest point in my life. The staff—Austin, BJ, Adam and Brett all were integral in teaching me how to recover from my addiction and to live sober. Purple’s approach is having an active lifestyle, therapy and community. I probably wouldn’t be here today if I didn’t come to Purple for treatment. If you have a man in your life who needs help with substance abuse, then I would highly recommend that you send them to Purple Recovery Center for Men.

    Highly recommend, every patient is taken care of equally , and respected as a person. You learn a lot from recovering addicts that are now instructors, lessors and teachers that there in the faculty that there is still hope and life past addiction . This program takes the extra mile to really help you understand what the disease of addiction is about . This program also is home like feeling , and you will leave there refreshed.

    I went a couple years ago. I was extremely impressed with all the staff, top to bottom, are ALL IN RECOVERY themselves. It gives facilitators credibility that can’t be learned, except by personal experience. The facilities are first class. It’s a huge, multi room house with usually 3 to a room. Each room has it’s own very classy bathroom and shower. The cafeteria serves great food. They’ll accommodate any diet requirements.

    Some of the most genuine loving experiences I've had without the influence of a substance. The genuine care of yeah i messed up and haven't been a good person to myself and i did this to myself and it's okay. First day they told me it's not gonna be easy but we'll get you through it and here I am through it. It's been a wonderful experience. And feeling. To know I'm through and it wouldn't have been possible without them. Just so you know when you come here. They care. And they don't do anything that would make this type of experience even harder.     Elisabeth (social worker) went above and beyond for a family member of mine, there were many ups and downs at the facility for my family member. Elisabeth was always supportive even beyond her role, I had no problem getting ahold of her anytime. Anything she did not know herself she would find out and call back within the hour and I NEVER was rushed off the phone. I have had past experiences with most past facilities have little to no contact with me (with hippa release forms) that said Elisabeth is truly exceptional. 😎
