I did not know what to expect when I came into rehab. The staff made me feel right at home. The facility was clean, the rules were solid and it was a safe environment. My therapist, Billy T., really helped me a lot through process groups and one-on-one sessions. I have tried therapy in the past but never gotten so much out of it. Really some huge breakthroughs I did not expect because I do not generally like therapy. John O handled all my outside concerns thoroughly and timely and the things that were important were treated as important. Same for Woody who delt with all the HR stuff with my work like FMLA. Overall the entire staff was great, and I also liked Tyler P’s morning reflections.The food is also great and you can smoke cigarettes.

I spent 3 months at Talbott in-patient beginning in October 2020, and then an additional 3 months in their sober living program (which has since been discontinued). Before I came to Talbott, I was broken, unable to function or live any kind of life period. I couldn’t see any other way until I found Talbott.
The most important thing I found at Talbott was a community of individuals who were struggling with the same things I was – my time at Talbott showed me the importance of community and connection. This connection and sense of community was fostered by people like my counselors Allie and Sam, and more so by our community coordinators Ben and Christian.
Ben especially left an indelible mark on my life and my perspective on addiction and finding recovery. His ability to connect with patients and former patients is remarkable and too seldom found in the treatment world. I will never forget the first time I heard Ben speak – he has a wholly unique ability to give people hope, especially when they are at their lowest.
I have carried the lessons Ben and everyone at Talbott taught me since then, and I now have over 4 1/2 years clean and sober. Talbott changed my life and for that I will be forever grateful.

I ve Been at CMTC and always have a good experience. My counselor T always treats everyone I have seen with respect and always smiles always pleasant, Ms. Sonja always pleasant and helpful with all of your needs and always nice, Ms.Earnestine is always on top of the insurance needs of everyone and always so nice and pleasant, Ms. Poole is the best site mngr I ve ever dealt with always willing to help you with anything she can do for you, everyone goes above and beyond their duties and what I have seen the site is clean and in order. For the size of the facility it is not that big but it is not messy or dirty and is organized from what I have seen.

So, I have a different story than most as I have not attended any Program here, but through a referral by my Therapist I was connected with Megan as I was looking at their IOP program. OMG – She has gone so far above and beyond to help me it is insane!!When it was discovered that due to UHC and they horrible coverage of late, I am not able to get into The Carter Center without incurring significant costs that would be impossible to overcome. Meagan RECOMMENDED that I look at other facilities and proceeded to list them and their locations – even willing to make a call to an in-network provider much closer to my home.This is such an amazingly refreshing perspective I know in my heart that they are in the business of helping people who want/need help and not just check a box because of a legal requirement. He had an entire queue to help and he took my case as personal as was needed to help me. Moving here I have to change my Medicaid to Ga. which is NOT ez or quick. And I, having heart disease and 5 stents in my heart from 2 heart attacks. Short version of of i didn’t get help and go into withdrawl the strain on my heart would no doubt KILL me. The man devoted most of his day trying to get my situation straightened out. Im detailing this because I want you to know this was the BEST service ive ever received in my 60 plus years on this planet, and it happened when my literal life was on the line. Healthqwest cant be beat if you want genuine effort with your help. The prices are competitive but you can’t go wrong using them.Ill answer any question or comment too. The medication I take is no joke. I take it for a broken back I got when I was year ended on my motorcycle at a red light. I take it for Pain mgmt.Its a serious subject and serious things happen with it….and more without it. So far it has been good I recently transferred in from another clinic they were very helpful the only thing I do not like is all medicaid recipients have to video call daily to take the dose in front of a nurse or else we are not covered by medicaid for that day. My oh my! What can I say about Black Bear!? During my time at Black Bear I was rebellious at first because I’m an Addict. After getting settled, I realized that Black Bear Lodge is more than a rehab… it is a spiritual, holistic retreat! The walks from cabins to the different centers and the theater was amazing. I was physically unfit because of my alcoholism. When I left Black Bear I was much stronger physically and mentally. The counselors are so amazing and attentive. I had Corey my first time and Susan my second time (took me two times but that’s neither here nor there lol. They were so empathetic. The nurses were amazing! Ms. Sylvia was the best nurse I ever had! Her daughter Jess was a tech and she was so caring and understanding. I had fun during my stay. I met some very comical people that I still stay in contact with to this day. Today I am almost 1 year and 1 month sober! I couldn’t be here without the self care and mental health information that I learned from Black Bear! The food was great! The chef even caters to special diets (vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerance). The staff really cares about the clients. I could go on and on about Black Bear and my review is jumbled because there is just so much good there! Detox was great, recovery was great, cabins were amazingly beautiful and relaxing, classes were informative, nursing was amazing…even the van drivers were awesome, so funny and caring. The off campus AA meetings were a good experience and prepares you for going to meetings after you get discharged. The administrative staff and discharge coordinators are great. Loved Melissa and the two Amandas and the many Heathers lol! I can’t remember all the names but I love them all! I would honestly go to Black Bear just to chill if they allowed alumni to do that! Anyways, there might be some things that you may not like but if you are humble, open and vulnerable you can have an amazing experience at Black Bear Lodge Recovery!

I literally can’t say enough about the staff and how absolutely wonderful they are. Jesus himself must have selected these people to help those in need. The amount of care each individual person provides and how well they listen and talk to you is above anything I could have ever imagined.If you are nervous about joining this program like I was, don’t be. It’s my first time ever in recovery, but I’ve heard stories of how bad some places treat you and how nasty the food is. Well not at recovery village. The staff treat you with respect and are there to help in your recovery. They show that they actually care from the day you first contact them by calling to simply check on you every day until your arrival. They have some of the best therapists in the world. There tech are there to serve you and not demand any thing accept you following the rules of the facility. I loved this place and one I’m done with my sober living I’m going to return so they can see the evidence of there work. I’m very glad I chose this place as the start of my sobriety and recovery. I wanted to take the time out , and just say the staff is amazing here at new seasons in ( Fort Oglethorpe) of course!! There is so much to brag about and so many people that work here that need recognition.. I do want to shout out to Robbie!! He’s amazing , such a kinda soul, and he has done so much to the building! ( I honestly think he’s a secret interior decorator) It’s like a super power he has ,, oh and Thank you for the new water machine !!! I love you for that . Everyone there is welcoming with no kinda judgement torwds you, they try to help in everyway possible.. they all have a part to play u got the office people like Amanda, she’s great very kind . Polite, and always has time to talk or explain things if u have questions. She’s really good about answering them or figuring out the answer.. then u got the counselors mine in particular is the best .. I am biased tho ..lol . Naw there all great . Mines just the best and then you have the beautiful lady’s up front , when you come in to dose there always welcoming !! Never bitter .. all in all it’s been a pretty cool experience though this part of my recovery.. I’m very blessed to have been accepted to work the program here . The staff are very helpful and amazing, the treatment most definitely helped me to combat my substance abuse problem. Big shout-out to Mr Terrance and Mrs Crystal I miss y’all and think about y’all all the time. I had some fun amazing times there and wish I could come come back just to kick it for another 30 days. 6/8/10 I walked into St Illa. Broken, afraid, and ashamed. I know I wasn’t the easiest person to deal with, but the staff treated me with respect. I completed detox and set about putting the pieces of my life back together. It has been a long and winding road, but I started college at age 50 and have been working in the field of addiction treatment for 6 years.
Yesterday marked 13 years drug free and the memory of the moment I walked through those doors remains fresh in my mind.
If you’re reading this with the thought of seeking treatment, do it. Do it now. You can be free. You are worth it. This place literally saved my life.
To the staff- I did not understand at the time everything you said and did, or why. But I do now. I’m sure none of the same people are there, but I will forever be grateful ♥️

I am extremely happy that I chose SouthEast for my detox and residential. The entire staff is so caring and loving! It is so clear that they like helping and have great experience. I had searched for a detox close to home, but after checking reviews on Google, I chose them. This was my first experience in such a place, but everyone I talk to, who was there and have been somewhere else said this is the best place they have ever been to out of all the others. There are doctors and nurses on staff/on site.
