Ardu' Recovery..... Oh my love... I obtained more in 45 days at their residential than I had previously in a combined 12 months elsewhere. I can not convey through mere words what they've created. A fruitless and in vain attempt would be to say that the staff aren't there for a paycheck, they are here to change lives and the do daily. That they alongside the clients help to cultivate a space of healing where one truly feels capable of being present, accountable, and vulnerable. That this is the place and these are my people. That I hope you find the courage within you to walk through those doors and the dedication to change your own life, with the help of some absolutely amazing people along the way. Though those would all be severe understatements, so if you're curious at least come check us out. What's the worst that could happen? Your life could be everything you imagined and more, things you couldn't even fathom brought to fruition, families healed and faith restored? The streets will always refund your misery but if you're looking for a place full of love, light, and like minded individuals welcome home relative.

Wow, 6 months of treatment later and I have nothing but nice things to say about Cirque Lodge. I am a 24 year old girl who left her family 6 months ago to get sober. And well, I did it! Without Cirque and the 12 steps, none of this would’ve been possible. Shoutout to Candice the counselor who saved my life. I am ever grateful to this program. If you are even considering treatment, Cirque is hands down the place to get sober and STAY sober. So I just want to leave a review based on such a supportive experience with staff. My daughter has been struggling up an down and all around, n I still am working on her to finally surrender, but I want to give a review on Charles. Charles is amazing, he has called me at 10:30 pm he has dealt with many messages, many I think today might be the day and than not, everyone knows what I talk about if they are familiar with addicts and their thought process and fear. I pray my daughter will finally surrender before it's to late, everyone close to my daughters have been dying left n right and they have lost children due to addiction, my grandchildren are now adopted out, my heart melts in heartbreak and the pain the whole family goes through is endless. So I just want to give a shout out to the amazing team and all their work while not giving up on us. They keep going out of their way to help me Everytime I reach out. Great people! Thank you so much! The detox White dove is Amazing and so kind as well. They too have been along for the ride and so kind and go out of their way to help me in anyway or questions while we just waiting on my daughters surrender. Thank you!

I will forever be grateful for Wasatch Crest. They literally saved my life! They have done for me what I once believed was impossible. They gave me hope of a new life, free from substance abuse and relief from overbearing mental health issues. I personally want to thank both Jim and Nicolette Huffman for not only opening their doors to me within residential treatment, but also for believing in me and not giving up on me. They both really do care, are highly involved and truly develop love for each and every client who is fortunate to admit into the program. Wasatch Crest has one of the best clinical teams I have ever encountered, especially my therapist Rick Buxton CMHC. All of their staff was welcoming, helpful and professional. If you are looking for a residential treatment facility that is safe, filled with numerous therapeutic activities and specializes in trauma, Wasatch Crest is the place to get into. This was my first time in residential treatment. I’ve struggled with alcohol/addiction for the majority of my life. I found real help here (for my mental health as well). I found real people here. It was honestly some of the best weeks of my life. If any of my family or friends are struggling with drinking/using I will refer them here. This is a special place. A place that fosters cultivation of real personal growth. I’m currently in their IOP program after graduating residential, and it’s excellent aftercare. This place changed my life. Of course it came with challenges; but the environment, culture, and staff here are all great. I’m the one who had to commit to recovery, but this is the place to do it.

My experience at Alpine Recovery Lodge was nothing short of life changing. Every facet of the program, from the 5 star accommodations (the food was amazing), to the incomparable addiction recovery treatment was absolutely exceptional. The staff members were kind, personable, caring and insightful. I felt like a member of the Alpine family. Last night I attended an alumni meeting at the Lodge. It felt like going home. Most importantly, through the Alpine program I was able to become aware of several key elements that were keeping me stuck in a life-long cycle of addiction. I feel like an imancipated slave who has been set free. I would whole heartedly recommend Alpine Recovery Lodge to anyone seeking to overcome addiction or mental health issues.

My son is currently in treatment at Alpine and would like to say most importantly they treat you as an individual NOT as a one size fits all. He had major Dental infections and they have gotten him the medical care he needs. He is connected with a good Community of other clients with a positive attitude to continue forward with his recovery. They also have outings which is important not to be institutionalized continuously for that mental well-being. We are looking forward to their recommendations on his continued care for a successful healthy recovery.

Going to Alpine is hands down the best decision I have ever made for myself. The staff and clinicians truly care about the client's well being. I have never left a treatment center truly believing that the work has paid off and I am moving forward in a positive direction, until now. Alpine has helped me create a new beginning and have a life worth living where I am not just struggling to survive day to day. The skills they taught me including DBT, CBT, and helping me get in touch with my spiritual side are useful and I am excited to see where this new chapter in life will take me. I recently completed 60 days at Pinnacle Recovery Center. My experience,during my time there, was outstanding. The staff is truly caring, and supportive, always considerate to each individual’s needs. The clinical staff is very professional and sensitive to every client. If I could leave more stars I would! There were only a few specialty services, such as dental, and some times audiology where we had much of a wait time. Most appointments were scheduled very quickly. I want to say, when my dad went to his appointments, we were NEVER rushed. We would sometimes have 2 1/2 hour appointments! His care team always listened, worked on root causes, helped advocate, and educate us. I feel his care there was superb, and it makes me sad not all VAs in our country have this level of care! Their teams are highly appreciated by us.

I have to take a few minutes and express the amazing facility that this center is. I pray it remains in business for year and years to come! It has been such a blessing to me this year. I am so thankful for being able to find this place. It is definitely a very amazing place with people that come from all walks of life. I feel so thankful to have found The Phoenix. I am amazed by all of the amazing therapists and amazing employees that work there. Bless their amazing hearts! The only thing that I will even mention that may be a downfall for them is sometimes if you need any extra paperwork throughout your treatment for court or anything it can sometimes take extra time and I highly recommend that you give them friendly reminders through phone, emails, friendly reminders at the front desk, etc. anyways thank you to the phoenix I know that I will keep them on a list of resources if I ever need a little extra help again! Chateau was an amazing opportunity to focus on myself and personal growth. I was initially hesitant as it’s hard to realize self neglect when you’re living in survival mode. I learned PTSD is real and processing trauma is necessary. I was becoming depressed without seeing it and approaching this open minded was a game changer. The staff brings not just professional experience but life experience and are compassionate and understanding. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Words like phenomenal, fantastic and amazing are very fitting. My 19 year old daughter received treatment there and over the month and a half she was there, she developed the skills she needs to become self sufficient in her personal growth. This is not a mental hospital. It’s a place where you have to show up and step up for yourself to improve. Nothing is forced or pushed on the clients. The staff, resources and therapies are amazing! I can’t say enough good things about Steps Recovery Center. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. The staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported throughout my time there. One of the things I appreciated most was the sense of community. I made some really meaningful friendships, and the groups were honestly amazing. I actually looked forward to going to group, which I never expected! The conversations, support, and connections I made are something I’ll always be grateful for. And I have to mention the food—it was incredible! Having good meals every day made such a difference and was definitely an unexpected bonus. 😊 Overall, Steps Recovery Center gave me a safe and supportive environment where I felt cared for and understood. I’m incredibly grateful for the staff, the friendships I made, and everything I learned during my time there. I am a graduate of Deer Hollow Recovery’s program. I strongly recommend Deer Hollow for anyone who is ready and willing to do the hard work of healing. Deer Hollow staff are highly trained in supporting first responders and military veterans. Their therapists, chefs, technicians, medical, and administrative staff work in tandem to walk with clients. Due to the unique healing work that we need, the process is not always pretty. I got really upset on a few occasions while at Deer Hollow. The staff gave me room to process and also upheld standards. I appreciate the work that Deer Hollow does. I have my life back!!!

I had the best experience here. I loved most of the staff! It had a very homey vibe. They treated me like I was family. Its hard to get sober as it is and the hospitality they showed me was impeccable. The nurses were very kind and took care of me better than the nurses in the hospitals ever did. Very nurturing. I cant say the same for the after care though...it wasn't horrible, but my experience just wasn't great. I could care less about the staff there as well. I don't recommend Chatham or w.e their sober living is called. Otherwise their rehab, 10/10 all around amazing! Highly recommend. Just follow the rules. I know its easier said than done. Getting sober feels like freedom you haven't felt and you almost feel like a kid again. Take advantage of your stay here. Its a great program.

Tl;dr - former student recommends this place highly Spent some time in New Haven before moving to a step down facility. Staff there were consummate professionals who care about the kids. The therapists helped me in ways that I’ll hold forever. Sure, it was a stressful environment with other kids who needed help, but that stress made me more resilient. Just make sure you remind your kid that treatment is what they make of it. Proud to say I’ve come a long way since my first day. I’m in the last year of my JD program with job offers to do corporate law. Thank you to Sara, Rochelle, Courtney, and the Coltons.

I owe New Haven my life. I was at the Teresa house from 2024 to 2026 and though my stay was long it was 100% worth every second. New Haven gave me what I needed to succeed, not what I wanted but what I needed. As always, there were definitely ups and downs to my stay but that is to be expected if anyone is growing and learning. And, I learned so many lessons that will keep me on the right path in life. One of the most important things that I learned during my stay was that I am good enough. That I don’t have to be good enough for others to be good enough for myself. I learned that honesty, even when it is hard, is one of the best ways to achieve a healthy relationship with anyone. This helped me grow my relationship with my parents because the value of honesty is one of the most important ones for our family. The program doesn’t just focus on the kid but the family as a whole. One big thing that they have the families explore is the idea of the problem is the problem. That no individual is the issue but, the actions and contributing factors are. My family and I have been taught how to separate the person from the action in order to move through a problem to get to the other side. There are many important pieces that build on healthy relationships and New Haven gave me the space to figure out how to have those healthy relationships. The staff who work there are truly there for the kids, to help them grow and move through the challenges that come their way. My therapist, Amy is one of the most brilliant people I have ever met. She would tell it to me straight if I messed up, give me advice when I needed it, help me work through my trauma, and have fun with me too. The program also assigns a residential staff to each student called a relational coach. My coach was Lauryn and she helped me work through the dynamics of healthy relationships. She stuck with me through my entire journey even when it was hard. I now have so many people in my corner including Amy and Lauryn who are rooting for me, that I can lean on when I need support. I have lots of tools to use when I make mistakes that can help me bounce back faster every time. I have so many healthy relationships with my family, my peers, the staff, and my therapist. I no longer have to worry about whether I have a future or not, because I now have all the things that I need to be successful in the goals that I work toward. I have learned that it is okay to struggle, that it is a normal thing that happens to everyone, but what counts is how you deal with it. I owe a big thank you to everyone who supported me, all of the employees, the amazing peers, Amy and Lauryn, and the amazing place and community that I have loved to be a part of. They have helped bring my family and I back together again.

My daughter went through the program at New Haven, and I credit them with saving her life. My daughter had some trauma when she was younger and when she started at New Haven, she was self-harming and thinking of suicide. The staff there kept her safe while supporting her needs, and her therapist, Amy, worked with both strength and grace. The program here not only focuses on the kids' behaviors, but also on repairing and making family interactions healthier. Amy pushed my daughter and me to both hold our own and respect the other's boundaries. While neither of us is perfect, my daughter and I are now at a point where we feel like we can talk with each other if issues come up, rather than arguing about it. Prior to her treatment, I was terrified for her future. Now, after her time at New Haven, I have the confidence that she will be able to go into adulthood with an emotional maturity that few possess, and that she and I will have a stronger and healthier relationship.

First step gave me my sobriety and I cannot put a price on that. I am at the 411 house... One month left to go. I cannot stress enough how much life has changed. I am now clean and free from addiction. They set you up with dental assistance, an optometrist, as well as safe housing transitions. Thank you to the staff!!! Not my first rodeo. I have been through a few rehabilitation programs with several local treatment centers in Salt Lake City. Recovery Ways at Brunswick was equipped with staff that has experience and multiple tools to assist in the recovery process. The step down progression and support is second to none. I have memories and friends from my short time that I will carry for a lifetime. I am sober today in part because of the staff and resources I was gifted on my day of surrender. As a professional in the industry, I had the opportunity to tour this beautiful facility. The staff was very welcoming and provided me with great details about their program as they showed me around the buildings, explaining what they could offer to the adolescents they work with. I loved the "adopt a cat" program and the equine services that they offer to their students. It was clear that their mission was to provide excellent treatment to their clients, aiming to set them up for success upon leaving.

I noticed negative reviews here, and felt compelled to share my own experience because it has been different. I also think it’s worth noting that many of these negative reviews come from people who left treatment early. Those experiences are absolutely valid, however they do not reflect what it’s like to move through the entire program and experience the full process. things often feel hardest before getting better. To preface this, my journey at New Roads has been anything but easy (for me or staff). When working through years of pain, fear, and maladaptive behaviors, emotions can be really overwhelming, and it’s easy to direct those feelings toward the treatment process itself. There were many moments pushed me FAR past my comfort zone and forced me to confront parts of myself I had been trying to avoid. I realize now that those moments weren’t signs that treatment wasn’t working, they were evidence that it was. I just wasn’t able to see that until after I graduated from the residential program. Before coming to New Roads, I had been to several different treatment centers. I always left feeling like another patient rather than an individual. I never felt understood and I struggled that anyone genuinely cared. By the time I arrived at New Roads in May 2024, I was emotionally done, impacted by trauma, and had almost no hope that this place would be any different. I felt so broken, misunderstood, and convinced i was beyond help. I honestly came to treatment because it was the box I was supposed to check, not because I believed it could actually help. I definitely wasn’t expecting healing. However, I found something I had never fully experienced before: people who truly cared. The staff (mostly) saw me as a person first, not a diagnosis or a presentation of symptoms. They held me accountable when needed and yet still showed compassion. There were days I wanted to leave and did. There were days i questioned the process and did, and times I caught myself directing my frustration with recovery toward the people who were trying to help me. I can see that those reactions were part of healing, not proof that treatment was failing. The support I received when it felt nearly impossible, gave me courage to keep going. Today, I can honestly say that choosing New Roads was one of the most rewarding decisions. It gave me way more than skills or a break from my struggles. It gave me hope, confidence, and the belief that I could build a life worth living. No treatment center is perfect, and everyone’s experience will be different. I don’t want to diminish anyone else’s story, because every person’s experience is real and deserves to be heard. At the same time, I think it’s equally important for people considering treatment to know that positive experiences exist too. New Roads changed the trajectory of my life and I will always be grateful for that.

I'm not sure how to explain it. It feels like a jail where they baby you with unlimited cigs and good food. Its not fun to wake up to a large man in the shared bathroom shitting at 4am. Yet, the court yard and people you meet are mostly good. Get a watch before you go so you can be on time for the many groups and an MP3 radio so you have something to do.

New roads is an amazing program. I received so much help & healing Even just in the few months I attended IOP there. More so than I was ever able to obtain at any of my other programs. My therapist was absolutely amazing, and they all worked extremely hard to make sure I had everything I needed. The Dr's and all the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They genuinely want to help people who are struggling. It's a different kind of program in its very own special way and I greatly recommend it to anyone struggling. The staff is great about helping you navigate your way so you are able to receive the most beneficial treatment for yourself. I encourage you not to hesitate to call. Going to Recovery Ways was, for me, literally a life-saving experience. I walked in there a total shaking wreck, heavily dependent on alcohol and in the process of dying, with undiagnosed and untreated mental health issues that led to my drinking. I spent 4 days in detox, getting my physical health back and decided to spend 28 days in residential treatment there. The staff were all experienced, and many of them have been in successful recovery themselves. The treatment I received there was compassionate and effective. I learned things about myself that I had been hiding from my whole life. I was able to heal old traumas and evolve into the person I want to be, rather than the person I accidentally became. I also had FUN and connected with people that will probably be lifelong friends, After residential treatment I went into their Partial Hospitalization Program and continued to receive education and help in building healthy thoughts and habits. I learned to respond to life, rather than reacting to it. My anxiety and depression melted away, layer by layer as I turned into a more effective and happy version of myself. Today I am 4 months sober, but I've learned that sobriety is just a side-effect of living the life that I choose. I do not believe that I could have done this without the wonderful humans at Recovery Ways, and all the care and love (and FUN) they shared with me. Highly recommended. And don't listen to the talk about the food. My nutritional skills also improved as a result of living there for 60 days. It may not be Club-Med, but that's not the purpose of being there. (They serve a salsa there that is better than I have ever had anywhere else.)

I voluntarily admitted myself to Recovery Ways in September 2023. When I was calling about admissions I was staying in the behavioral unit of St. Marks Hospital, and Recovery Ways made accommodations for one of their team members to pick me up straight from the hospital. In-take was very fast. The staff at Recovery Ways Residential Care (Copper Hills) were very nice and friendly. They were able to make professional connections to each client, including myself. Although they weren't qualified to make treatment plans, diagnosis etc. they offered to have 1:1 discussions with clients if they weren't able to speak to a therapist on-site or on-call. For me, the situation wasn't as dire, or needed medical intervention, but they still talked to me about a struggle I was going through with my family. The occupational therapists are very sweet and insightful. Yes, they do help clients shop for nicotine, or do smoking supply runs every week. But, when I was at Recovery Ways (copper hills) it was clear to me that they weren't going to associate themselves with forcing clients/patients to adhere to strict guidelines but rather held us accountable for our actions. For instance, I was told by therapists and staff members that it is my choice if I want to pick up smoking, but they advised strongly to clients/patients to do their best to not pick up smoking habits as it will stunt our overall recovery from other substances or make it harder to receive successful treatment. The other residents/clients who smoked would also tell me to not start smoking or vaping. My therapist did have me go over my past trauma with her, but it was so she could have a better understanding of my case. The Med Technician who administered my prescriptions to me helped advocate for me to my psychiatrist appointed by Recovery Ways about having ongoing PTSD related night terrors. Because of him, I was able to be put on a sleeping pill and another medication that helps with PTSD night terrors. I went into Recovery Ways experiencing suicidal ideation (and having recently attempted), urges to self-harm, mania and lots of other symptoms/diagnoses. But, at the end of my treatment (after moving to Brunswick) I was able to recover successfully. Two years later and my GAD is in remission, my psychotic symptoms that was diagnosed alongside my Bipolar 1 Disorder is no longer affecting me. I have also stayed with their recommended psychiatrist when I was being discharged from Recovery Ways. And their excursions for physical activity/occupational therapy activities were kind of like surprises but they still gave us a few minutes to get dressed for the activities. Overall, my experience was amazing and every staff in each Recover Ways building were very helpful. I don't know if the chef at Brunswick is still working there, but in 2023 he was an amazing cook and made sure each meal he made satisfied the residents/clients. I'd recommend Recovery Ways for anyone.
