My Name is Vili and I wanted to share this. I had a very positive experience at Clinical Consultants during my substance abuse treatment, and I appreciate the support I received from the staff and instructors. My first therapist, Megan Vanroosendaal, was very attentive and thoughtful in her approach. She created a space where I felt heard and supported. After she left, I worked with Cody Raspberry, who provided strong guidance and helped me focus on personal growth. A key takeaway from her that stayed with me was, “You don’t have to use every day for it to be unhealthy.”The group facilitators also played an important role in my progress. Gentri Fox (Cognitive Therapy) helped me understand my thinking patterns more clearly. Aleina Erye (Health Connections) created a calm and supportive learning environment. Neal Tate (MRT) was engaging and relatable as a teacher, and Heidi Kenney was also very supportive throughout the program. Overall, the program provided valuable tools, insight, and structure that supported my growth and recovery.

Our family's experience with New Beginnings was generally positive. They were responsive, organized, and helpful. Tina is a GREAT therapist. I also had positive interactions with many of the staff, including Kennedy, LaTasha, Sherry, and Dr. B. I think their expectations of the clients they treat are fair and intended to keep everyone safe, while simultaneously appreciative that kids do sometimes have bad days. The food was good, but they could make an effort to engage clients in more physical activity.

We have a family member (minor) who is enrolled in the PHP (Day Treatment) program at New Beginnings, and we have been very impressed with the program from the start! They immediately responded to our initial inquiry and the intake process was smooth and efficient. NB staff have provided weekly (and sometimes more) updates on our child's progress. The child psychiatrist quickly formed trusting relationship with her and gave us very helpful information. Our child's therapist is one of the best we've ever experienced. She meets with her almost every day in individual and group therapy and once a week with us for family therapy. It is obvious our child has formed a trusting bond with her, and we have received very helpful counselling on how to best interact and parent her. Our child likes the daily program staff member who is obviously very committed to her and provides a detailed weekly report and additional reports when needed. The weekly field trips are fun and educational and always seem to have a solid therapeutic purpose. NB helped us register with the district online learning program for her daily schooling. We have experienced a marked improvement in our child's behavior, and while we still have a way to go, for the first time in a long time we have hope for her future.

My daughter just got home from Copper Hills where she spent 9 months working with an amazing team. Her therapist Erica Kennedy helped my daughter in ways I cannot express on a simple review. My daughter has been able to come out of her self-destructive behavior and learn healthy coping skills that will aid her for life. Erica did an amazing job at helping my daughter heal from past trauma's and learn to recognize that the unhealthy ways she was dealing with things was only going to increase her misery. My daughter has the skills she needed to recognize the unhealthy patterns in her thinking and behavior and redirect to a more positive path that foster growth and healing. Copper Hills helped her find and build a foundation that will set her up for success long into adulthood, and I couldn't be happier! No program is perfect, but Copper Hills is as close as you can get in my book! Thank you guys for all your hard work! DEFINIETLY RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM!!!

Copper Hills has been a true lifesaver for my granddaughter. Although she has attended several facilities, it was at Copper Hills where she formed a meaningful connection with both the staff and a compassionate therapist. During her ten months there, she transformed from a troubled young person into a more thoughtful, mature young woman. Isaac, her therapist, was consistently positive and encouraging. She felt genuinely comfortable with him, and I believe that connection played a significant role in her growth and progress. He also demonstrated a strong commitment to family involvement by holding weekly Zoom meetings, which made a meaningful difference. Exceptional therapists are not easy to find. Kaitlyn has worked with several over the years, but Isaac was the one who truly connected with her, and for that, I am deeply grateful. The academic program at Copper Hills was equally impressive. The range of classes and subject matter kept students engaged and interested. Her homeroom teacher, Mattie, provided regular, informative updates on her progress, activities, and coursework. Always responsive, and I greatly appreciated the consistent communication. Copper Hills has an outstanding teaching staff. I am sincerely thankful for the care, support, education, and encouragement they provided, helping my granddaughter embrace positive change and move forward from her past Thank you Deb W

Our child was at Copper Hills for 11 months. He has matured and grown so much in that time. We found the communication with them to be great. Working with his therapist Lew was wonderful. If we ever had a question or needed information he answered them or got us to the correct person who could answer it.

Wow, what an amazing time I have had! Flying in from North Carolina, MK, Sean and Becca were really helpful and respectful of my needs for sobriety. MK, guided me through Admissions and played a key part during my time at Pinnacle. I was worried at first that this facility was just like any other rehabs. Just a common money grab, but to my surprise Pinnacle really wants the best for you. After coming from NextStep Detox, I was greeted by Anthony and Sean! They gave me a great orientation and the clients gave me a warm welcome! Becca and Sean over saw our programming and were very helpful with personal development and were very attentive regarding outside needs during treatment. If I needed to see my legal team or doctors, etc. Becca and Sean would take took time out of their schedule to assist me. The support staff are very friendly, they treated me like I was their best friend. If I got out of line the support staff would help correct me in a way that wasn’t punitive. Anthony and Brooke are both in recovery and so is most staff, they really cared about your sobriety, and will guide you through recovery. The food scene is amazing, nutritious and very healthy. Chef Ed is off the chart, a great chef. I’m not a salmon fan, but he made me a delicious meal to substitute for Salmon! Chef Ed picks fresh foods, so nothing is old or boring! The Interns, and therapists really want to see you be successful. My therapist Julie has gone above and beyond when it came to help my mental health. Her approach to mental health is really awe inspiring. I really appreciate Cassie, Cory and Londyn help as well! The activities are made to help you feel comfortable while working on yourself. Troy, MK, Sean and Becca have built a truly remarkable treatment facility. From Mental Health treatment, to the recreational activities, their passion to help clients are more than I expected. I’m forever grateful to the love and caring team members at Pinnacle for my journey through Sobriety. If you’re looking for mental health care, please reach out to Pinnacle. I would not have been able to sober without the support of some amazing friends whom I met in a lovely treatment center! Also a shoutout to Kourntey, Mary, Londyn, Brooke, Anthony, Jasmine, Janae and many more!

Pinnacle Recover is amazing. All of the staff go over the top to meet your expectations. The program gives you everything you need to achieve your goals and gives you all the tools you need to help you in recovery. The food is outstanding, Chef Ed is so compassionate about his cooking. I've never had a well balanced diet as good as it was at Pinnacle. The activities you get to enjoy are so much fun. Sober softball, hiking, bowling, batting cages, ice baths, open mic night are some of my favorites. The facility is more than adequate, its an amazing house that is filled with comfort. Overall, Pinnacle has changed my life in so many positive ways. I feel as if my life is starting over and I get the opportunity to be happy again. Shout out to Katie my therapist for all the help and knowledge she has given me. I'm ready to go out into the world and face all the challenges it brings head on. Thank you Pinnacle!!

If you, a friend, employee, spouse, whatever are looking for help stop and read this for a minute. I wanted to make a post because it has been two years since I walked through the doors. I am a first responder (you don't have to be but they work well with them) dealt with stuff at work but also in my personal life. Prior to coming to chateau I drank crazy amounts (whatever your thinking probably more) just to get away from myself, stop my mind, and to feel normal. I didn't even need to be happy, I would pray and plead can I just please feel normal for a few days. I don't even care if I'm happy just not miserable. I decided I was going to end it and had a note written out. Before I did it (nobody knew I had plans till I talked about it at chateau) I was basically forced to go to chateau. That's right I didn't pick it, I was made to go. I had every excuse not to go. What's it gonna cost, how can I make it work with my family, I'm not just some drunk I don't need to go to a detox I need help, all of it. The most scared I have ever been was walking through the doors. They handled everything. They made sure I was good medically, got my meds right, they helped me deal with cravings, they had tons of great therapy, tons of new tools and coping mechanisms I never had, and new ways of taking care of myself. They let you get workouts in, you eat like a freaking king (or queen) and it was the first time in my life I had ever felt unconditional love from strangers. Whatever you did is probably bad, I guarantee 6 other people there at the same time as you have done it. The therapists are the first ones I ever opened up too. I sat in a lot of sessions before this but never was able to have them do what they could there. The staff are largely all people with past trauma, addiction, etc that came out the other side and know what it's like. They don't just say it they lived the same crap you are now. I stayed 2 weeks longer than my 30 days to work on a few things and when I got out I was sober and the normal weeks were back. I even felt happy. You know why you haven't been able to fix yourself? because you're beyond your capabilities. You are not beyond theirs though. They will fix you and will save your life. They did mine. I have a wife and two kids and they would not have me if it wasn't for chateau. I would have never in a million years got a company logo tattooed on me 2 1/2 years ago. I thought it was stupid. Guess who got a chateau tattoo for their first tattoo. A lot of us have. Not because anyone asked us too (in fact they would probably tell us it's impulsive but hey I waited 2 years and still wanted it) but that's the magnitude of what they did for us. That's the kind of company they are. There is no level of gratitude I can show that will match the gift they gave me. Besides just you, they will help teach your family (if they are up for it) about the symptoms while your gone too so they actually understand what is happening when you can't explain it yourself. Once you're out they check in on you, have group chats, a mentor, weekly group meetings, a podcast, and most importantly they help you have a plan when you go back. People don't talk like this about random treatment facilities. People go through dozens before they get clean. This isnt about sobering up or getting through this mess you're in. This is about helping you fix what is broken for good. You wont regret it. Whatever your hesitation is pick up the phone and talk to them. They have ways to help you get there. I wanted to post this not cause I started by believing in them but because I started by doubting them and became a believer. Pick up the phone, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You're loved even if you don't know it, you are worth saving even if you don't feel it, and you can be saved even if you don't believe it. NoOneFightsAlone LFC

I did not personally partake in Chateau however my loved one did, and I am forever grateful for Chateau. My loved one needed help and a friend recommended this treatment center. My loved one initially had struggles during the beginning of treatment I’m sure, like most everyone does, however once he was able to let his guard down, he was able to encapsulate different techniques, conversations, therapies etc. that helped give him the tools to assist in his everyday stressors. I too was given ‘homework assignments’ to assist in my loved ones’ healing process. What I admire about Chateau the most is that once you leave Chateau they don’t forget about you. There are continued support groups online and text threads that my loved one participates in and the staff are still available if my loved one is struggling. Through these outlets my loved one has gained support and friendships from individuals who weren’t even in Chateau while he was there, which shows great comradery. I am forever grateful for my loved one receiving treatment, and I believe it helped save his life. *One thing to note and I know every situation is so different. In our situation my loved one went to Chateau pretty immediately with little time to prepare (maybe 2 days). That being said, it was the first time he or I have ever experienced going to a mental health / wellness center. We didn’t know what to expect. I did receive a packet of this information a couple of days after he was in Chateau, but we were unable to go over the packet together in particular discussing who he wanted me to share updates about him to, or ask to be included in the ‘homework assignments’

As a clinical psychologist who works primarily with first responders, Chateau is my go to for treatment! I am consistently impressed with their professionalism, personal connection, and the treatment clients receive. This is not a surface level improvement or shift in symptoms, rather they do deep work with sustained results. I am forever grateful for the quality of services they provide to my clients!

The Phoenix saved my life, and I'm not exaggerating. At the beginning of my treatment I was suicidal, apathetic, and rating my depression severity as a 9/10. I went through IOP and PHP and by the end (5 months later) I was happier than I'd ever been, reporting no suicidal ideation and rating my depression severity as a 1/10. Of course - it required self-discipline and hard work on my part, but I couldn't have done it without the amazing staff at the Phoenix. Stacy, Michelle, Jess, Jake, Alisiah, Edward, and Marielle all made recovery easier for me. Danielle Glover was my individual therapist and she was amazing. very compassionate and understanding and taught me things that changed my life. If you are seeking treatment for mental health the Phoenix is a GREAT place!

I cannot say enough about how Deer Hollow has changed the trajectory of my life. After years of intense trauma therapy with little progress, I had reached such a low point that our fire department’s mental health team recommended I come to Utah. When I agreed, I had no idea how I was going to get through six weeks of residential treatment—and by week three, I wasn’t sure there would be enough time. Clinicians and admissions worked together to ensure I could continue the work we started with their PHP and IOP programs, which I feel were crucial. After years of struggling with pain and confusion of trauma, on and off the job, they were able to listen, hold space and help me begin to understand, heal and grow. Deer Hollow takes a truly holistic approach to wellness, incorporating nutrition support, physical exercise, yoga, and community service alongside group and individual therapy. The structured, intensive schedule helped me build a routine that I still follow today. An amazing bonus is the ongoing alumni support—weekly online check-ins, group meditation or yoga, and the meaningful connection with peers who continue to walk this journey with me. I am forever grateful for the amazing clinicians, techs, admissions team, and support staff who have given me a new outlook on life.

I really appreciate every part of this process I have been through with these guys! Mrs. Brown is such an amazing soul. It’s nice to be treated like a person and not a case number. I’m thinking of continuing sessions even after my required ones are done just so I can have that freedom of no judgment or anything when it comes to talking about personal life and feelings. For the people that walk into this place and already have their minds made up about what it’s going to be, of course it’s not going to be good. For those that come into the process with an open mind and positive attitude, I don’t see how this can’t be helpful. But if you’re looking for advice on who to pick if you’re able to go so, Melanie Brown is hands down just amazing.

I came to Deer Hollow carrying years of unresolved trauma and symptoms that had taken over my life. I had tried therapy before, but nothing reached the root of what I was dealing with until I walked through their doors. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, grounded, and understood in a way I hadn’t experienced anywhere else. Residential treatment was intense, structured, and emotionally heavy at times — but it was also exactly what I needed. The trauma-focused work, especially IFS, helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, where my patterns came from, and how to work with the parts of myself that had been stuck for so long. The therapists were incredibly skilled, patient, and compassionate. They didn’t just teach me tools; they helped me truly heal. Moving through the step-down levels of care gave me time and support to practice what I was learning while still having a clinical team behind me. Each phase built on the one before it, and for the first time, I felt real change happening — not temporary relief, but deep, foundational healing. Deer Hollow didn’t just help me manage my trauma; they helped me reclaim my life. I’m grateful every day that I made the decision to go.

You will be with peers going through the same stuff, no matter what their background we are more alike than different. I thank the people of Deer Hollow for saving my life. Don’t believe the lie that you are telling yourself, “that I’m not hurting anyone else” there are people in your life that love you and want to help.

Having been to many treatment centers in the past 22 years I recently graduated from Pathways residential treatment and have to say it has helped me help myself more than any other treatment center. Pathways has a unique approach to the treatment of mental health and addiction to where I didn't just feel like another client, I felt like part of a family who understood me, staff included. I wish I could single out every staff member there because they all care so much. I do want to give a shout out to one staff member. If it hadn't been for Ally who talked with my daughter for an hour, and then me when we were looking for a treatment center, and the way she took the time to explain to us what Pathways was about without trying to sell something really helped me make a decision that would change my life. So thankyou Pathways!

I wanted to get on here today and leave a genuine review for pathways. I’ve been through a lot of Mental health and recovery programs in my life and to me, this place is different. The dedication to the work that Pathways has to offer its patients and the results I found on my journey with them I’ve spent years at other places trying to get and never received. It’s hard to explain it in better words than this is a place that cares. Anytime I’ve gone there I’ve felt I was surrounded by people who truly understood and knew how to help. If I were to recommend a place to go to for any kind of treatment, whether it be mental health disorders, addiction, recovery, eating disorders etc. I would recommend pathways and the good that comes from there.

Pathway literally changed my life. I had been on drugs for the last 15 years of my life, was in a victim mentality, and had so many undiagnosed issues. I worked through my trauma, did the geniologity tests. I was undiagnosed for the longest time and as soon as I got the results, everything in my life clicked. From that point on everything changed. Tina, as all of the other therapists were amazing. Since leaving the program, I have been employed full time for a year, built a strong connection with my family for almost 2 years (which hasn’t happened since I was 11(, and have been in a lease in an apartment for almost 2 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM. LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE!!!! FOREVER GRATEFUL!!!!!

I had the best experience here. I loved most of the staff! It had a very homey vibe. They treated me like I was family. Its hard to get sober as it is and the hospitality they showed me was impeccable. The nurses were very kind and took care of me better than the nurses in the hospitals ever did. Very nurturing. I cant say the same for the after care though...it wasn't horrible, but my experience just wasn't great. I could care less about the staff there as well. I don't recommend Chatham or w.e their sober living is called. Otherwise their rehab, 10/10 all around amazing! Highly recommend. Just follow the rules. I know its easier said than done. Getting sober feels like freedom you haven't felt and you almost feel like a kid again. Take advantage of your stay here. Its a great program.

On April 4, 2025 I was checked into Wasatch Recovery Treatment Cent from San Francisco, CA. My best friend had drove from Utah to pick me up because I had back to back overdoses and was close to dying every single day from an extreme GHB, methamphetamine, alcohol, and cocaine addiction, as well as heavy Xanax, klonopin, oxy, and Adderall abuse. I was so bad that he and a small group of my closest friends had to pack my apartment for me before I left, because I was so disconnected from myself and reality. For 20 years I have battled addiction off and on and was always missing the key to keep me in a place where I didn't WANT to do drugs anymore. When I got to Wasatch there was a culture shock and it was scary for me. Utah isn't as diverse as California (especially San Francisco) and there was a fear that I would be treated differently for being a gay man in a conservative state. This was not the case at Wasatch. I was greeted with love and kindness, acceptance and patience. I had a time I wanted to leave and they gave me the space to do so, alongside with the opportunity to questioning my own reasoning for it. This lead to a personal meeting with the owner of Wasatch, Mark that really showed me what This program was about. A type of love that I had never experienced from complete strangers that would soon blossom into a community of friends and family that have supported me throughout every step. Today, I am over a year sober. I have a good job, an apartment, I'm on the softball league, and I have 2 dear friends who even helped me with a car so that I could get to work and rebuild my life. I have rekindled relationships and transformed my mind, body, and spirit. This program works if you are willing to work for it too. They will show you so many variations of therapy that will explain how addiction works in the brain, a personalized therapist will challenge you to go deeper in yourself than you ever wanted, and the experiential therapy will reconnect you with life and nature. The food is great, the staff is loving and comes from the heart, and it is a safe place to grow bigger than you could ever imagine. That's why I love Wasatch and if you're reading this and need help, I hope you know that this is a special place that can help you too.

Wasatch has been the absolute BEST!! The staff is amazing and each one of the clients get to have access to therapy with The main Man Todd Sylvester who really can figure out what needs to be tweaked or overhauled like me!! Last but most importantly is the yoga that they provide in treatment lead by the master yogi Tina the Guru who can see right through you which makes it easier to be real which feels good. Because of there recovery yoga classes they provide after treatment with the Best teacher on the planet Sage, they get my 5 stars and 🕺🏻emoji!! Get the help you deserve and call Wasatch!! Hard work with people who care!!!!

This is my second go round… been goin to for like 6 months maybe a lil longer.. this place is far from perfect.. but just like everywhere else ur experience is what u make of it! Sure its ghetto… n seems that everyone that goes or well 90% of the clients clearly still use… but if u pay to much attention to those details rather than the real reason ur goin there ( your self) then u have already lost the fight.. stop taking so much time worrying about everyone else and focus on u and why u r getting help! Recommend to anyone that isn’t worried about sitting back and judging everyone else and just worry about their own needs!

I found my wife dead overdosed In Her bedroom, was able to bring her back and brought her to this clinic. We had no insurance, no money, and no resources. The staff here actually paid out of their own pockets to get my wife her medication each day until her insurance came thru. A entire week stabilizing her dose and by that time she was no longer using. She was able to focus on living and be excited to wake up each day. It helped bring her back down to earth and gave her and me our hope and positive outlook on our lives. We're so grateful for this place and others like it. It may not be for everyone but It helped save our lives Thank you.

Not my first rodeo. I have been through a few rehabilitation programs with several local treatment centers in Salt Lake City. Recovery Ways at Brunswick was equipped with staff that has experience and multiple tools to assist in the recovery process. The step down progression and support is second to none. I have memories and friends from my short time that I will carry for a lifetime. I am sober today in part because of the staff and resources I was gifted on my day of surrender. Highly recommended and even though the commitment seems daunting, the experience will enhance your life skills and provide ample suggestions to assist in a fight for life outside addiction.

I had an excellent experience at Willow Tree receiving help for alcoholism. The staff was incredible, the facility was clean and comfortable, and the administrative staff did wonders with my insurance company so that the whole experience was possible. I was nervous about going to treatment, but I couldn't be happier that I did, and Willow Tree exceeded my hopes and expectations. Anyone looking for a great treatment center this is the one (I’ve been to 3 different ones in Davis-Weber area) & I can’t thank this team enough. Wonderful folks who only want to help. Follow the rules and have a good experience. Thanks to these guys for helping so many. Be nice and they'll be nice back:) Update about a year later. I still can't say enough good about this location and the wonderful staff here. So much good can happen w the right attitude and accepting the help this place can offer. Money wasn't an issue, I paid out of pocket to start and they helped me get on benefits to ease the costs. But at no time did they turn me away for any reason. I am so grateful for these folks and the assistance they provide time and time again. They really do care so if you are living so hard and feel like no one cares give these places a chance and get help. Totally worth it.
